"You want me to do a what?" Reiko protested again.
"An act." Larten repeated. "You would be a wonderful addition to the show."
"What would I even do?" Reiko asked.
"Fox magic." Larten shrugged.
So that's how Reiko found herself on stage.
She started the show by letting her glamour fade and showed off her ears and tails, inviting the audience to feel and touch.
Then she changed into the form of several different audience members, and treated some people to her enchantment, making them go Gaga for her and do whatever she said.
At the end, the one who was the most intrigued was clearly Larten.
He was fascinated.
