Waking up after her victory at the Pokémon League, Glitchy heads downstairs to greet the new day. She has yet to make any new plans when her mother approaches her.
"Good morning Glitchy~ my little champ. I just got off the phone with Professor Elm and he told me that he has something to give you" her mother tells her.
Glitchy watches her mother sit back down as she ponders what the professor could possibly give her, She steps outside her home and heads to the professor's lab, which so happens to be continently next door to her home.
Glitchy walks straight up to Professor Elm in his lab, passing his assistant and several cabinets on the way.
"Glitchy, there you are! I called because I have something for you. See? Its an S.S. Ticket. Now you can catch Pokémon in Kanto" he hands Glitchy the ticket which he promptly puts safely in her key items pocket in her bag.
"That ticket will let you take the Fast Ship that departs from Olivine City. But you already knew that Glitchy. After all, you've adventured all over with your Pokémon. Give my regards to Professor Oak in Kanto" Professor Elm tells her before sending her on her way.
Glitchy leaves the lab then calls upon her trusty Murkrow, whom she had nicknamed Max, to fly her to Olivine City.
Upon arrival, she heads straight to the docks where she is greeted by Professor Oak himself.
"Hello, you are starting to have the attitude of a Champion, Glitchy" Professor Oak states
Glitchy looks at the Pokémon Professor in confusement, "what does that even mean?" she asks, hoping for an answer that makes sense.
"You spoke…" Professor Oak looks at her, almost surprised, "but you never spoke before"
Glitchy nods, "I can talk, I just chose not to. So… anyway, you were saying?"
"Right… it's time for your Pokédex to match who you are. Let me see you Pokédex for a second. I'll upgrade it with the National Mode" Glitchy hands him her Pokédex and he updates it there and then before promptly handing it back to her, "it won't be easy to complete the National Pokédex. However, I'm sure you will make an honest attempt on our behalf. Oh time flies, I have a radio show to record at Goldenrod Radio Tower. You must be heading for Kanto. If you come near Pallet Town, do drop by my Pokémon Research Lab" Professor Oak leaves for the Radio Tower.
Glitchy approaches the sailor at the desk.
"Welcome to Fast Ship S.S. Aqua. May I see your ticket?" Glitchy presents her ticket to him, "okay, you have a ticket. We're departing soon. Get on board quick" he steps aside, letting her pass.
Glitchy approaches another Sailor standing outside the ship, "okay, you must be the last passenger" he states before letting her aboard,
The S.S. Aqua soon departs from Olivine City once Glitchy has boarded.
Glitchy has barely taken a step forward before she is approached by an elderly man.
"Excuse me, I was in a hurry!" My granddaughter is missing! She's just a wee girl. If you see her, please let me know!" and with that he ran off.
Glitchy watches him leave then turns to Tidus, her Feraligatr. Tidus grins at the Glitchy.
"No Tidus, you can't eat her. I think he wants his granddaughter back in one piece" Glitchy tells him only for Tidus to back chat her, "I don't think she's a ninja either. He's either just bad at looking after her or she's good at running off. For the time being let's explore the ship"
Tidus nods in agreement and they begin to look around. Speaking to a Sailor, Glitchy learns most of the passengers are trainers and are all itching to battle in their cabins. Glitchy turns to Tidus with a smile on her face.
"It's time for S.S. Ann part 2… but on a different ship" she sighs, "what I mean is we kick all the cabin doors down and battle anyone and everyone who wants to battle… it sounded better in my head"
Glitchy begins to introduce herself to all the passengers whilst also introducing all trainers to her Pokémon. As she explores the ship, she comes across a sailor who asks her to look out for his buddy.
"He's taking it easy somewhere, that good for nothing. I want to go find him, but I'm on guard duty and have to stay right here" he explains
"One lazy sailor coming right up" Glitchy says to him, "lets go Tidus"
Glitchy runs back up to the first deck and towards the room she saw a sailor snoozing in. Her and Tidus sneak into the room and up to the sleeping sailor.
Glitchy takes a deep breath then yells, "if you don't stop snoozing my Tidus will eat you!"
The sailor jumps out of bed in a fright then runs over to confront her, "what? You're saying I was sleeping? Show some respect!"
"First off I said snoozing, not sleeping, and secondly your buddy is looking for you. I think he needs to pee or something" Glitchy tells him.
"A crewman on duty would never be so unmindful as to take a nap in a place like this!"
Glitchy looks round the room, "well that's not very nice, the room isn't that ugly"
"I resent your implication! I challenge you!"
"Sure you do… go Gatcha" Glitchy sighs, "the things I do for adults, use Ice Fang on his Machop"
Gatcha obeys her orders and takes out the sailor's Machop with ice fang. He then sends out his Machoke which Max takes out with wing attack while Miles takes out his Psyduck with thunderpunch.
"Losing to you has woken me up. I will mend my ways and work hard" the sailor proclaims, "can you keep it a secret that I was napping here? Please don't tell the Captain"
"Yeah sure, whatever buddy can you go see your pal now?" Glitchy says
With that he leaves the room. Glitchy leaves shortly afterwards and heads back down to the sailor who made the request.
"He was sleeping… I mean 'resting his eyes'" she tells him
"Thanks kid. I yelled at him good so he'll quit slacking off" the sailor tells her
Glitchy nods and walks past him to a new area of the ship. She soon finds herself in the Captain's Quarters where the elder man's granddaughter is conveniently harassing the Captain out of sheer boredom.
"This little girl keeps asking me to play with her. Ouch please don't stretch my ear" the Captain snaps.
Glitchy approaches the little girl and knees down to her.
"Captain, play with me, please? I'm board! I want to play more!'" she notice Glitchy beside her, "wow, you are going to play with me?"
Glitchy nods, "yeah, its a game I call 'let's go find you grandpa and bug him'"
"Let's play hide-and-seek! I'll hide, so you close your eyes" she giggles
"Or we can play that" Glitchy sighs and closes her eyes, "one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, ready or not here I come"
Glitchy leaves the Captain's Quarters and begins to look for the little girl. She checks each area and room until she finds the little girl hiding round a corner.
"Oh you found me~ I better go back to my grandpa" she giggles as they head back to her grandpa's room, "Grandpa, here I am~ I was playing hide-and-seek with this girl~"
"Glitchy was it? I heard you entertained my granddaughter. I want to thank you for that. Take this" the grandpa hands her a metal coat.
They hear on the intercom the S.S. Aqua has arrived in Vermilion City.
"Thank you for playing with me~" the little girl cheerful sings as Glitchy leaves their room.
With a nod, Glitchy prepares to leave the ship. Stepping off the ship, she arrives back at the familiar city. Her journey back through Kanto has begun anew.
