She says, "Seriously, I've never done that before." He responds, "Good to know. I feel special." She's getting a little annoyed because he's making jokes, and she's serious. He sees the shift in her eyes as she says, "T, come on. You know as well as I do it got way too hot in that scene. In addition to your improvisation, me having an orgasm during filming wasn't a part of the plan."
He sees she's getting upset and says, "Baby, I know it's a little concerning. But honestly, I think we pulled it off. In fact I know we did. We got it in one take." She's relenting a little, but he sees her ease up when he says, "If there was a problem, Tom would've told me Ker, and he said it was perfect. So please, stop worrying about it."
She eases up a bit, but says, "Okay, this time we may have dodged a bullet. But what about next time Tony?" He takes a breath and says, "Ker, I need you to calm down. Tom will review the footage, and talk to me tomorrow. But so far from what he's seen; he just said it was great. So let's not freak out here. Let's let the editors do their job, and see what we have when they are done."
His response makes sense, she has to admit he's right once again. She's panicking and doesn't have a real reason to do so. He finally sees her emotions settling in her eyes. She takes a breath and says, "Well, I guess it was a good call to have a closed set."
He nods as he says, "Yeah, Tom and I talked about that early on. After seeing a few of our scenes, it appeared very necessary." She smiles as she says, "We are pretty hot on camera huh?" He responds, "Yeah, very. But that's not a bad thing. It's sure to drum up viewership for the show."
She agrees as she says, "Yes that's true babe. We just have to have better boundaries for ourselves, I don't want what happened today to happen again." He responds, "Wait during or after filming."
His comment makes her laugh as he kisses her forehead and says, "I know what you mean, and I get it. But be honest with me. Today, did you feel like anyone else knew what was happening with you in our scene?" She pauses for a moment and says, "No, I didn't."
He replies, "Good, so I'd say we have boundaries in place. We masked it just fine, and nobody is the wiser. In these scenes, we can push each other because we know each other so well, and as a result we get the best responses possible. It has to look real, so it feels real for the fans. That's how we will balance this. Our passion, will launch this show to new highs Ker. Together, we are like instant ratings, which is something any show would kill for. Tell me I'm wrong."
She listens as he talks about their chemistry, and she can't deny it. He's absolutely right. In every scene they've had together, they have heated up the set, and left people talking about how hot they are. She says, "So you're saying we should use this as an advantage, that way when people ask about us, we can just say. It's just good chemistry." He responds, "Yes, that's exactly it babe. The more invested people become, the greater the success of the show."
After his comment, he sees her thinking and says, "Hey, a penny for your thoughts." She laughs as she says, "My thoughts are worth more than a penny." He smiles as he kisses her and she feels his hands slide up her thigh, and he says, "Okay, an orgasm for your thoughts." She moans as she says, "MMMM, now you're talking." She smiles as she says, "We just had chocolate cake T. Ice cream is pushing us over board." He responds, "Ker, you look amazing. There's no such thing as over board. Your body is fantastic. Besides, afterwards I will help you work it off." She grins and they share a kiss, before going to walk Josie.
After their walk, they drive to the ice cream shop as promised, and are sitting out on the balcony eating their treats. Suddenly, Kerry has that same nagging feeling she had earlier about how their chemistry on screen will affect those around them. Tony is talking to her and she's not responding. He stops talking and taps her as he says, "Hey, where are you right now?" She snaps out of her haze and says, "What?"
He laughs as he says, "Babe, talk to me. What's going on with you?" She sighs as she says, "I'm sorry. I keep thinking everything is good now. But what happens when people in our private lives, who know about us see us on screen. Will it be too much?"
He understands her concern and says, "Ker, you know my family loves you, and nothing is going to change that." She replies, "Tony you have to see how different it is for them to see us on screen, and on posters every where in comparison to them seeing us privately. You can't deny this could be a burden."
He sees this is going down a winding road, and he's hoping they don't hit rock bottom with this conversation. This is how she gets when she panics. He responds, "Kerry, we are not a burden, and neither is our relationship. So why classify it that way? Is that how you see us?"
She takes a breath and says, "No, of course not babe. I am just saying I don't want the people we love to feel a certain type of way, as a result of the show, and I think we need to be prepared for the possible fallout. If that's the case."
He takes her hand and says, "Ker, I need you to understand that regardless of what other people may think. This is about us and not them. You can't control everything, so stop trying, and stop stressing. We will be as we allow ourselves to be, screw everybody else's opinions."
She smiles as she says, "I wish I could be fearless like you. How do you always remain so calm in these instances?" He responds, "Because I believe in us Ker, and we promised this time would be different. It has to be, if we are going to make this work. Do you remember that conversation?" She nods as she says, "Yes, I do." He replies, "Okay, so do you still believe in us?"
She smiles as she replies, "Yes, I do." He smiles as he says, "Then trust me and trust us to make it through this. I've seen the promo posters too, they are just posters babe, and we are playing characters on a show. Despite some of the content being very familiar, it's still just a show, and we should continue to act as if that's the case."
