He smiles as he replies, "Blame your mother. That lasagna last night was incredible; I had to try to work it off. We aren't all so genetically gifted like you beautiful." She laughs at his comment, as she says, "Hey, I work out too. This body doesn't come easy." He reaches for her, as he responds, "MMM, no it doesn't, but it's surely beautiful and sexy as hell." She smiles immediately, she loves how he adores her.
As he pulls her in to him, she smells his cologne, and he watches her react to it. He loves how she takes him in emotionally, and mentally, when she's in his arms. She opens up completely, and receives him with immense pleasure and intensity. The draw in his gut, when she's near is unbelievable, it's like a magnetic force, that takes over and he couldn't stop it, even if he wanted to. He's felt it from the first time he saw her, he's always wanted her from day one, and the feeling has never changed.
In the moment, all that matters is them. The kiss is sexy and sensual, and does well to rev their engines. His cologne, and his freshly showered scent, in addition to his grasp on her body, has her rearing to go. Realizing they missed their early morning romp, due to his work out. They both have a compelling need for each other right now. But time is limited, and they know it.
Falling prey to the moment, the passion is rising, but they come to halt as his phone in his pocket begins buzzing. The mood breaks, as their kiss ends. He doesn't want to stop, but she insists he takes it, seeing the call is coming from his agent.
He sees her grinning as he answers, and within seconds he gets it. She's clapping and jumping up and down, as she hears him repeat the words, "We've been picked up for another season!" The joy in his eyes is fantastic, she is ecstatic to see how happy he is.
He thanks his agent for the call, and when it ends, he says, "You knew! You knew and you didn't tell me!" She laughs as she says, "Well, I wanted to baby, but you're sexiness distracted me." He shakes his head, as he laughs and she walks up to him. He hugs her and says, "We've been renewed baby."
She smiles as she says, "Yes, I know babe. I am so happy. I can't believe how great this feels." He smiles as he responds, "Me either. You know what this means though right?" She replies, "No, what?" He says, "That we have really got to bring it. I mean leave no doubt to our power. The fans are crazy for us, so we need to give them a show they can hold on to. We could rescue the show. We both know that us being together, isn't a part of the premise. But it seems to be what the fan base wants."
Kerry thinks as she replies, "I agree. They are completely invested. They've even named us, they call us Olitz." He smiles as he responds, "Yeah, it's definitely a fanatic reaction. But I must say I don't hate it." She smiles as she says, "Me either." He sees the smile on her face and asks, "What's the deep smile about?" She replies, "Because it's working out as you said. We are high jacking the show. Our chemistry is blowing us up, and Shonda is going to have her work cut out for her." He replies, "You're right. But I think she's up to the challenge. Let's see what she does with it. She's really being given a gold mine here.
She agrees with him, the buzz around this show is phenomenal, she's never had this much hype around a project she's been a part of. This is special, and they both know it. He looks at her as they take in the moment, feeling good and says, "It's kind of cool to be a part of something this great huh?" She nods as she says, "Yes, indeed it is."
She has a renewed joy about the show, and the continued success of it, but also she has thoughts of them. As he continues to talk, she doesn't respond. Instead, she smiles, remembering the great evening they had with her family last night, and the conversation she had with her mother this morning. It's been fun being in NY for work and play on this press tour.
She's recalling now, how her mother fawned all over him, most of the night, and her father had him engaged in conversation, whenever her mother gave him a break. However, he didn't seem to mind. He always has a good time, whenever her parents are around.
She initially was worried about them having dinner at the house. She didn't know how her parents would take it. Despite knowing him from previous political events, they've attended; them even having dinner with the cast before as a group, or just them with her parents too, a few times, when they've come to visit, this was a very informal and intimate setting. But it went off without a hitch. They sold the coworker angle very well, and everything was perfect.
Them all being together at her childhood home, eating dinner, and mingling felt amazing, and it really gave her a sweet glimpse of what could be. The only question was, when it will happen, not if. She knows he'd move heaven and Earth to make it happen now, but she knows timing is everything. Which brings her back to thinking if she'd missed her chance to tell her mother about them.
Fully committed to her thoughts, she isn't listening to him talk at all, and he figures out he's being ignored. She falls out of her trance, to the feeling of sweet kisses on her neck, and the warmth of his embrace.
She smiles as she wraps her arms around him, and he says, "There you are. Where'd you go?" She replies, "Sorry, I was just thinking about last night, we had a real good time."
He smiles as he says, "Yeah, we did. The sex was great. I love it when you drink." She hits him playfully as she says, "Really?" He smiles, as he pecks her lips and says, "You know I'm kidding. I love your parents, they are amazing." She replies, "Thank you. They love you too."
Caught up in the moment, as he stares into her doe eyes, he strokes her face, as he says, "But will they ever know that I'm in love with their daughter?" She doesn't hesitate, she plainly says, "Yes, they will. I promise." Her response makes him smile, because it's the first time she's ever answered such a question about her family knowing about them. It gives him hope, they will have a public future one day soon.
