Bella whimpers once then quiets before sitting up with her eyes wide open and whispers, "Jasper we need to change our diet animal blood will make us both weak and dilute our gifts. Carlisle knows this and uses it to keep the family subdued."

I look over at Peter saying quietly, "Two of you."

JPOV

Peter looks back at me grinning, "Now we'll be more prepared for anything that comes our way."

I walk over to the children and pull them all into a hug whispering my goodbyes and watch as they head out the door with Peter and Charlotte. I closed the door and lock it before moving back over to Bella's side and laying down to pull her into my arms.

"MMMM, Jasper" she moans quietly, "We'll keep the children safe from everyone. Have no fear my heart."

I pull her tighter into my arms whispering, "We will do everything within our power to keep them safe from our world."

Just then a multicolored bubble appears around us and I reach out to touch it. The minute my hand connects it shines bright white before turning an iridescent solid gold then slowly moving outwards. I'm curious for a moment then look down to Bella who smiles at me with her eyes closed and says, "Go ahead, I'll be safe, see how far it goes" before squeezing my hand encouragingly.

I lean down and kiss her softly whispering, "I'll be right back."

Walking over to the window I gaze out watching the sphere gliding smoothly farther out, taking one last glance at Bella I jump down and quickly run until I catch up with the glow. Finally it stops about 50 miles from where the cabin is located and I decide to do a perimeter check to see if anything or anyone is around.

Running through the forest surrounding the cabin is relaxing and free as I think about all the things that I have found out about the Cullen's and about me. It pisses me off that what I thought I knew about the family that I lived with, all of the deceit, lies and pain that I went through makes me wonder to what end. Knowing that the Volturi might be behind everything doesn't make me feel any better about the family and what they put me through. I vow right now nothing they say or do will get me back with that family EVER. Especially if it comes to the safety of my REAL family, Bella, the children, Peter and Charlotte.

Feeling a sharp tug in my chest I glance back towards the cabin before heading back at a slight jog. Jumping back up through the window I notice Bella is levitating slightly above the bed with her hair floating about her head. Reaching out gently I take her hand intending to pull her back down but the minute I touch her hand lightening shoots through me and I black out.

I come to with us both on the bed facing each other, startled I tense then send my gift out to see if I can detect anyone within our vicinity and can't sense anything so I relax back again. Just then the phone rings.

"Hello"

"Hey Fucker, just checking in." Peter says before I hear a smack and giggling through the phone.

"Hey who hit me?!" Peter snarls.

Bella says, "I did Peter! What did I tell you about watching your language in front of the children?!"

Silence over the phone before Charlotte gets on and says worriedly, "Something is wrong with Peter. What did you do Bella?"

Bella snuggles deeper into my arms before saying quietly, "Everything is OK Char, we are just having a nice harmless conversation in his head about listening to me."

"Huh?" Char asks.

"Everything is alright Char, you guys can spend the night at a hotel and head back in the morning. My change will be done by then, we can sit down and discuss everything and how we want to handle the situation before starting my training. See you then."

The phone lifts from my hands, hangs itself up and gently lands on the nightstand beside us. I turn to gaze at Bella and see her eyes open glowing brightly at me before she smiles and kisses me once before asking, " Would you like to have a baby with me?"

She reaches out for my hand and lays in on her stomach as I stare at her in silence before jumping slightly when I feel movement under my hands.

Closing her eyes and snuggling deeper into my arms she whispers, "I was pregnant before the change started, but it makes me wonder why I didn't get pregnant before and I think it has something to do with having all three of your venom's in me for the change. Maybe my body needed the combination of the three of you to get pregnant and keep me from rejecting the fetus."

Just then a text comes through.

From P. Whitlock

To: J. Whitlock

"All 3 venom combined. Baby will be special, more so because of the venom."

Bella relaxes more into me, "Hmm, that explains it then."

I turn off the phone and pull Bella closer and relax knowing that between all of us everything will be alright.

Emmett POV

I reached Jasper's last known location but then his scent stops, as I peer out from between the trees I can't help but remember the conversation that I overheard from Carlisle's office. Knowing this is important I can't help but need to get in touch with Jasper and let him know what I heard. I tense hearing footsteps coming in my direction and then Alice and Rose break through the trees to stand in front of me.

Snarling lowly I turn around, "Why are you following me?"

Alice huffs and crosses her arms while Rose glares at me with her hands on her hips.

Alice growls out, "Why are you trying to find Jazzy, Emmett? They obviously don't want to talk, from the message that Carlisle received earlier. Bella" she sneers out in disgust and loathing, "apparently doesn't want Jazzy having anything to do with us, his family, the ones who took him in when he had nothing."

Taking a deep breath and trying to hold onto my temper I snarl, "What's it to you what I do and don't do? Last I checked I am an adult, when I was changed and now. I don't have to answer to you anymore. As of now, I could give a flying fuck about either of you or that fucked up family of yours."

Rose gasps in shock before charging at me shrieking in anger, "You will do what you are told Emmett McCarthy Cullen!"

Just as she reaches me I twist to the side while reaching for her arm and helping her momentum carry her further into the forest. Ignoring her continued shrieks of anger I turn back to Alice crouching down ready to fight her too.

Alice stands there shocked before her eyes widen in disbelief at seeing something behind me. I duck down and avoid the tree trunk Rose has aimed at my head then reach up to catch her by the throat as she attempts to jump on my back.

Swinging her around to my face I watch as she tries to get my hands to release her. I tsk in anger, "Rose, Rose, Rose….that is the final straw. Consider this me telling you I am divorcing your delusional ass. I have put up with a lot from you and I have had ENOUGH!"

Rose stops struggling as she listens to what I am saying with a look of stupefied horror on her face.

"Yes, you didn't think I knew did you? I figured it out a couple of years ago. That we weren't mates and one of the many conversations I overheard of you and Carlisle confirmed it."

I watch Alice in my peripheral as she tries to slide away so I turn completely to face her tossing Rose at her feet. "Alice I know all about you keeping Jasper in line with your emotional blood lust bombs and believe me I will be telling him all about those as well. Your family has constantly underestimated me and it will prove to be their downfall. I promise you."

Leaving them stunned I turn around and start running knowing neither of them are capable of keeping up with me. Time to find Jasper and beg his forgiveness because I will get down on my knees and beg him to forgive me. Something tells me I am going to need to be with him to avoid the wrath of the Volturi and Carlisle.

Alice POV

"Why didn't I see this happening? I thought we had everything under control. This isn't supposed to be happening. It was supposed to be easy to get Jasper back to the family. Oh God, if he gets to Jasper and tells him the truth we'll all be dead. Come on Rose, we have to get back to the house and find a way to stop Emmett."

Rose POV

Rose looks in the direction that Emmett ran longingly before getting up and following after Alice. Hoping against hope that Carlisle will help her get Emmett back under control, because something happened to the control she had over his mind. Carlisle was the only one who knew about her mind control power or at least she thinks he's the only one who knows.
