Timing Is Everything

This story is about two people who meet at the most inopportune time in life, and find themselves in an impossible situation. Love can be a wonderful thing, when it's with the right person. But what happens when its the right person, but not the right time? How does that work? What do you do when everything around you says this is wrong. But everything in you feels its so right?

62. Chapter 62

Robyn sees the conviction in her eyes, and feels it in her spirit. She's professed her love for Tony before. But never has she been this strong about it. This time really is different. Knowing that a solution has to come about, and being curious about where her head is at. Robyn asks, "So, I know that you said Tony is still working on figuring out the culprit. But do either of you have any suspicions of who could've leaked the pictures?" Kerry's eyes suddenly narrow, as she says, "Yes. I believe its Bellamy."

Robyn asks, "Really? You think she'd go that far?" Kerry replies, "Yes. I think she'd go further if she could. She simply rubs me the wrong way with her thirstiness." Robyn smiles as she notices the look of jealousy on Kerry's face. Kerry sees her smiling and asks, "What's so funny?" Robyn grins as she responds, "Your innate jealousy of anyone who is near your man. Especially her." Kerry replies, "Can you blame me? Considering her roaming hands when she and Tony did their love scene." Robyn responds, "Kerry, they were in character." Kerry excitedly says, "No. He was in character. She was on her own mission."

Robyn sits back on the couch, as she replies, "Wow, you really don't like her." Kerry realizes her anger level in the moment, as she spoke of Bellamy. But she's being honest about her feelings, and says, "No. I don't, and I'm not sorry for it either." Robyn replies, "I understand Kerry. So tell me. When will his guy have information for you?"

Kerry responds, "Probably sometime today." Robyn asks, "Okay. So why don't you call Tony, while I go order us some lunch." Kerry thinks for a moment. She's not sure if she wants to call Tony right now, given how they left things this morning. But she knows she has to face him at some point, but she isn't sure if calling him is best right now.

Robyn sees her pause and asks, "What's with the hesitance Kerry?" Kerry snaps from her thoughts as she says, "We had a fight this morning, and it didn't end well." Robyn replies, "Ahh and now you're reluctant to call him. Because you don't know how it's going to go." Kerry nods as she says, "Yes."

Robyn sees the conflict in her eyes, as she says, "Look Kerry, couples fight. It's a part of every relationship. So there's no need to be worry about calling him. I'm sure he wants to talk to you. But he knows you're working. It wouldn't be a bad thing if you called him at least to check in. Besides, the text messages he sent doesn't indicate he's too mad."

Kerry hears her friend's response, and she appreciates it. Because she knows she doesn't have to be this gracious in helping to calm her nerves. But she's doing it anyway, and doing a great job at it. She releases her breath, she didn't realize she was still holding, and her stress lessens, as she says, "Thanks Robyn." Robyn smiles at her as she says, "You're welcome. Now, you make that call, and I will be back in a minute." Kerry takes the phone from her and makes the call. As the phone rings, she hopes for the best.

Thanks for following this fanfiction tale. In the next installment. We find out how Kerry handles knowing that Bellamy leaked the photos. We also find out how they figure out a way to handle this situation going forward. Clearly more people will need to be involved in this solution. But where do they start?
