SmackDown Filming: June 14, 2011
I put my hair up in a ponytail. "So Nathan still wants us to come over tomorrow?"
"Yeah." Randy says. "I'm still wondering what suspicious thing he saw on the security camera footage."
"Me too. It's really bugging me."
"Yeah. God I still can't believe I'm missing twenty-five thousand dollars."
"We'll make it through this, Randy. We'll get this money back."
Randy puts his hand on my back. "I hope so."
"We'll do it. I just hope this is all said and done before my birthday."
"Me too. I just want this done."
"I know. You got a match tonight?"
"No. I have a concussion. You?"
"Nope."
"What the fuck is up with this?"
"I don't know. Randy, I don't know."
I put my lipstick on as Eve walks in.
Eve smiles. "Damn, girl. What is that lipstick?"
"It's called ravishing red."
"I'm going to borrow that sometime."
"Okay."
"Do you wrestle tonight?"
"No. Neither does Randy."
"Oh. Why are you here then?"
"Randy has to be ringside for the main event. I had a production meeting."
"Ew. Production meeting."
"Tell me about it. I feel like I'd like it a lot better if I was drunk."
"Girl, I feel ya."
I laugh. "Everything is just so stressful."
"Yeah."
"Red or black heels?" I hold two pairs of heels up.
"Red. It matches your lipstick."
"Okay."
"Anything else going on?"
"Not really. Hey I just remembered that Leslie has gear for me. Wanna come with me to get it?"
"Sure."
Eve and I walk into the hall where Leslie is working. We smile at each other. I walk up to Leslie.
"So can I have my gear, Leslie?" I ask, drawing out the question.
"Yes." Leslie says, smiling. "It's right in this box."
"Okay. Thank you."
"No problem, girl. I haven't made any gear for you in forever."
"True."
She grabs the ring gear and gives it to me. "Here you go."
I look at the gear. "Oh my god. This is amazing. Look at this, Eve. It's amazing."
Leslie smiles. "Plus, this is the first ring gear I've made since you got married, so I put Orton on your butt."
I laugh. "Okay."
The ring gear is a white top, with a red chest band and a few blue and red straps across the back, and white shorts with a blue waistband and Orton on the back in red, as well as two white armbands, one says "Queen of Chaos" in red and the other says the same thing in blue, and a couple kneepads.
"This red matches your lipstick." Eve says.
"It does. Thank you, Leslie."
"No problem, Rissa." Leslie replies. "I'm glad you like it."
"I do. I'll wear this at Capitol Punishment."
"Okay. Good."
I smile to myself. This was one of the best ring gears I've ever had. I put it in my bag. I then feel Randy kissing my neck.
"Hey." I say. "Look at this gear Leslie made me."
Randy takes it out of my bag. "Well damn. Leslie makes some good shit. I like our last name being on your butt. Now we both can wear the last name."
I laugh. "Yeah."
He kisses me. "This is amazing."
"Oh, baby, I love you."
"I love you too, sweetheart."
"How's your head?"
"Doesn't even seem like I have a concussion."
"That's good."
"Sure is."
"I can't wait for Capitol Punishment on Sunday."
"Me either. Champion couple makes a return."
"You have to retain your championship first."
"I will. And you have to beat Brie first."
"Oh shut up, Randy. I know you think I'll win."
"Damn right I do."
I hear Cody's theme song play as he and Ted head to the ring for their Six-man Tag Team match with Wade Barrett against Sin Cara, Ezekiel Jackson, and Daniel Bryan. "You need to go soon. Sheamus and Christian is right after this."
"I'll go now if you come with."
"Fine."
"Here are your winners, Ezekiel Jackson, Sin Cara, and Daniel Bryan!"
"Ted's shoulder was up!" I shout.
"That's so much bullshit." Randy mutters.
Ted, Cody, and Wade arrive backstage. Wade gives us a small nod and heads off, probably to go see his girlfriend. Alicia and Wade being a couple is still a weird concept to me. Ted and Cody stop at us.
"Did you watch?" Cody asks.
"Yeah." Randy says.
"Wasn't my shoulder up?" Ted asks.
"Yes." Randy and I both say.
"So I do have a right to complain to Teddy Long and get a match with Daniel."
"Yes. Kick Daniel's ass." I say.
"Will do. Come on, Cody. Let's go. See you guys later."
"Bye." Randy and I say.
It's a shame that lost their head
A careless man who could wind up dead
You wear your sin like it's some kind of prize
Too many lies, too many lies…
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Dublin, Ireland, weighing in at 267 pounds, Sheamus!"
"And his opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 215 pounds, Christian!"
I hear voices in my head
They council me
They understand
They talk to me…
Randy and I start heading to the ring to a loud cheer.
"I guess we don't get a ring introduction." I say quietly to Randy. "Thanks, Tony Chimel."
Randy chuckles. "We don't have to have one. Everyone knows who we are."
"True."
Booker T gets up to get out a second chair as he sees both Randy and me head down towards them. Only a chair for Randy was set out. I smile. Randy wraps his arm around me as we sit down.
"Thank you." I say to Booker.
"No problem." Booker replies.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Christian and Sheamus start fighting. I lean on Randy's shoulder. He smiles and tightens his grip on my shoulders.
"Who do you think is going to win?" I ask.
"Christian. There's no way he'd let Sheamus weasel his way into our match." Randy replies.
"You're right."
Sheamus looks at Randy before going to hit a Superplex. Christian moves, and Sheamus hits his head on the steel ring post. Christian pins Sheamus as Randy starts to get up.
1…2…3!
Randy gets up and goes to slide into the ring.
"Babe, what are you doing?" I ask.
He just smiles at me and slides in. I follow him. Christian runs up the ramp.
Randy smiles evilly. "Rissa, hold my championship."
"Okay." I take it from Randy.
Randy looks at Christian before Punting Sheamus in the skull. Randy then grabs me, and we head backstage.
