So, getting help in making that transition is something they really do need to consider. Without thinking, Tony says, "I don't think either one of us thought of the idea of transitioning into the public at all, until you mentioned it just now."

Judy replies, "I'm sure you didn't think about it. You're not at that point yet. But, like I said you'll know when you are there." Kerry asks, "How will we know?" Judy responds, "Because it will be when you've either had enough of the status quo, or something happens that forces your hand. That's generally when it happens for everyone."

Tony sighs as he says, "Damn, I guess there's much more to think about around this, than we realized." Judy nods as she says, "I agree, and it's something most people don't think about. That's why it's my job to think about that kind of process, and in case you haven't noticed; I'm pretty good at my job." They smile at her, and respond as they nod, and again in unison they speak, as they say, "Agreed."

Tony then asks, "What's the other things you wanted us to consider, other than our transitioning into the public eye? You said there were three things." Judy says, "Well, I want you to understand the signing of the agreements could change the dynamics of the work environment. I've seen where resentment can set in and things can get a little rough at times, between crew members and cast mates. So, my advice is expect it; therefore when it appears you will recognize it, and be able to deal with it better."

Kerry asks, "What examples do you have that resemble changes in the dynamics?" Judy replies, "People will begin to complain about things they didn't have an issue with before, like scheduling times, the amount of camera time, and media interviews being given."

Tony jokingly says, "Hell that happens now." Kerry laughs at his comment, and so does Judy. But she follows with, "Yes. I am sure it does. But, it will be much more frequent, and the attitudes can become more aggressive. Therefore a lot of the closeness that you all boast about, may begin to fade. I'm not saying it's going to happen. But again, I will not be surprised if it does happen, given the fact that Bellamy is a part of the cast." Tony nods as he says, "okay. Good to know."

Kerry agrees, that's something they'll need to keep an eye on. As she processes that, she asks, "And what's the last issue you want us to consider?" Judy replies, "Here's the hardest one for you two. I want you both to be more careful about how you go about your daily lives, in public together. If you want to keep yourselves off the radar; you can't be seen together in casual, non-work related settings consistently." Tony says, "You want us to hide?"

Judy replies, "No. I want you to be mindful of where you are, and what you're doing. For example, why did you drive here together today? You had no idea what type of set up I had here. Luckily for you; my job is discretion. So, of course I'd make sure you're safe here. But outside of these walls. I can't protect you."

Kerry looks at Tony, as she says, "I told you we should've drove separate." Tony sighs as he says, "Damn. I didn't think it was a big deal. We've been out tons of times without anyone noticing." Judy responds, "In the past that may be true Tony. But, don't forget that now you're on a hit show, and there are billboards all over this city with either both of your characters together, or just your character Kerry. So, it stands to reason you're going to be noticed more. Especially after all the promotional tours you both have coming up, for the fall ramp up for next season."

Kerry sighs as she says, "God, she's right Tony. So, what do you suggest we do Judy?" Her question lifts Tony's mood right away. He expected for her to be down or upset about what Judy said. But instead, she was looking for a solution.

He's so shocked she didn't freak out, he's speechless. All he can do is take her hand, as he listens to Judy speak. Judy sees him take her hand, and sees the expression on his face shift from worry to relief. She then says, "I suggest driving separately as much as possible. If you go out in the day time, it needs to be early morning and avoid crowded places. Also, if you cohabitate. Be smart and do so in a gated community, or some type of secured facility with bonded security personnel."

Instantly they think about their condo they're staying in, and how secure the building is, as well as their house in the hills. Suddenly, they feel better. A strong sense of relief washes over both of them, when they realize they're current lifestyle won't have to change as much as they thought.

Their thoughts break, as they both hear Judy say, "I know you mentioned earlier that no one in your personal circles would dare to reveal your secret. So, I'd say it's a good idea to rotate friends and family who are willing to cover for you at social events as much as possible. That's going to be a real plus; the press loves those moments. That way when you appear at events, you can be together but not appear to be together because you both arrived with other people. Does that make sense?" They both nod at one another, as Tony says, "Good idea." Kerry replies, "Yes. Very good." Judy smiles as she responds, "I'm full of good ideas." They all share a laugh, agreeing with her response.

Abruptly, a question pops into Kerry's head, as she asks, "Out of curiosity Judy, when you notify Shonda, can you let us know? Or do you think it would be best that we were present when you briefed her?" Judy responds, "It's up to you how you want to handle her Kerry. But, you're not obligated to discuss this with her at all. Especially since she'll have to sign a non-disclosure form too." Tony responds, "I'd rather be there when you tell her; so we can get this over with."

Judy responds, "You're preparing for the verbal sparring match huh?" Tony nods as he says, "Yeah, and looking forward to it. To be honest." Kerry replies, "Tony, I don't know if arguing with her is wise, or necessary." He looks at her and says, "Kerry, you act like we have a choice here. Can you honestly tell me that Shonda isn't going to call us once she's talked to Judy, or communicate her displeasure in other ways, once she knows?" Kerry had to admit, he's right. The odds of Shonda not reacting to this is slim to none.

Kerry's silence, after Judy and Tony's replies is a concern at first, and Judy asks, "Kerry, are you okay?" Kerry sits back on the couch, as she says, "Yes. I am fine. I was just thinking of how crazy talking to her is going to be. The I told you so blah blah blah conversation."

Judy says, Well, if she knew about you two being together. She probably should've put in the type of safe guard I am implementing now, and this could've been avoided. But, hindsight is 20/20." They both nod in agreement with her statement, as she says, "Anyway, do either one of you have any more questions for me?" Both Tony and Kerry look at each other, and then back at Judy, and Kerry says. "I think we're good." Tony replies, "Yeah, I agree. I think that's it."

Judy smiles as she says, "Great. I will get started on implementing our discussed plan within 24 hours. But, before you go. I want to be clear that my goal is your goal, and I am committed to achieving it for both of you. However, this plan only works, if two things happen. If you tell me the truth, and if you listen to me. Because the moment either of you start being dishonest, or you go rogue. This whole thing blows up. Can you both agree to follow me on this?"

Both Kerry and Tony nod in agreement, as Kerry says, "Yes," and Tony says, "Absolutely." Judy stands and smiles at them, as they stand too, and she says, "Well then. Let's get this process rolling, and I will call you when I have set up a meeting with Shonda." Tony responds, "Good, thanks again for your help Judy. We really appreciate it." They shake her hand as she says, "Don't mention it. Have a great day." Kerry says, "You too."

They leave out of her office, and make it to their car rather quickly. Somehow it seems like it took longer to arrive at her office, then it did arriving at their car. When they get in the car, there's a sigh of relief on both of their parts. They look at each other, as they buckle their seat belts and Tony says, "Let's go home." Kerry nods as she says, "Yes, let's." They both put on their sunglasses and Tony puts the top up on the convertible, being mindful of Judy's advice.

As they ride the radio plays and they both sort of sit in thought. They are reflecting on what they've learned today, and on how some things will have to change to some degree. When they arrive home, they immediately go inside and neither of them say a word, until they are safely inside their condo.
