Thursday: June 30, 2011 9:00 A. M.

Randy and I woke up next to each other in bed. We both smiled, and neither of us moved to leave the bed.

Randy pulls me over so I'm on top of him. "Something's wrong. You're not acting right."

I lay my head on his chest. "You and I are fine. I'm fine."

"Marissa Lynn, you're not okay. You're stressing again…is this about the boxes?"

I nod as I glanced over at the two wooden boxes on my nightstand. "Yeah. I haven't opened them yet. And, honestly, part of me doesn't want to, but the other part of me wants to know what is in there, which is most likely letters. And what she wants me to know."

"Well how about this? Once we decide to actually leave this bed, I'll put them away where you won't be able to find them, and I won't let you know where they are until after your birthday."

"So like outta sight, outta mind? Okay."

Randy kisses my forehead. "Like I said, Rissa, no more stress this week. Today's Cody's birthday. Let's enjoy it. Tomorrow is Chris and Morgan's gender reveal party. Let's enjoy it. Saturday is your birthday. Let's enjoy it."

I smile. "Okay. I love you."

"I love you too, beautiful."

Randy and I turn towards the door as we both here someone knock.

"Hey," Michelle says from outside the door. "I'm not going to open the door because I don't want to risk seeing either of you naked, but Eve's making pancakes and wants to know if you guys want blueberries or chocolate chips in yours."

"I want chocolate chips." I reply to Chelle.

"Leave mine plain." Randy says.

Chelle laughs. "Okay. Randy, you're so boring. By the way, they should be done soon, so I would recommend coming to eat soon. See you guys in a few."

Randy looks at me. "I guess we should go eat then."

I nod. "Yeah. Let's go."

Randy and I made our way downstairs. The others had already put our pancakes at our seats.

"Thanks, guys." I say as Randy and I sit down.

"No problem." Eve says. "I'm going to go get Cody. Be prepared to tell him happy birthday."

We all nod. Eve runs upstairs to get Cody.

"You ready?" Ted asks as he looks at Randy.

Randy smiles. "Oh you know it. Give me a horn."

"What on Earth are you two up to?" I ask.

Randy kisses my lips. "Nothing you need to worry about."

Ted passes Randy an air horn. "Here."

"I cannot believe you two. I don't even know how to deal with you." I say.

Randy laughs. "You don't have to know how to deal with me."

"Yeah, but you'd think I'd know how to after seventeen years."

Randy laughs again. "Well I always tend to do something unexpected. You just learn to adjust to it."

I roll my eyes. "Like RKOing me?"

Ted lets out a chuckle. "Ooooh she went there."

Michelle, John, and Maryse start laughing.

Randy gives me a slight dirty look. "You know I'm sorry about that."

"Sorry doesn't bring back those seven months of my career that I missed."

John smiles. "Need some ice for that, Randy?"

Randy looks over at me. "I'm fine. But if Rissa keeps this up, then she won't be."

"Um…" I start. "Is that a threat?"

"No, babe. It's a promise."

"Not cool, Randy."

Randy pulls me close to him and whispers in my ear. "What you said was not cool. So you started it."

"Whatever."

Eve and Cody come downstairs.

"Happy birthday!" We all say to Cody.

"Thanks." Cody says.

Randy and Ted sneak up behind Cody and blow their air horns.

Cody almost falls over. "Why do you do this to me?"

The rest of us laugh. Randy and Ted sit back down, and Cody and Eve join us.

Colby enters the dining room. "What the hell was that?"

Cami walks in behind him. "Yeah. What the hell? Some of us are trying to sleep here. That's disrespectful."

Randy laughs. "Colby, we were messing with Cody since it's his birthday. And, Cami, we're disrespectful?! This is our house! Not yours! We just blew air horns!"

"So what, Randy?! You know I have to work tonight!"

"So it's disrespectful when we blow air horns in our own house?! But you can blast your loud ass music at three in the morning when seven people in this house had just returned from a late flight and were trying to sleep! And you're not in your own house! That's not disrespectful?!"

"That's different!"

"Is it?! If you have a problem with how things are run in my home, there's the door! Grab your bags and just leave!"

"Fine!" Cami grabs her purse and walks out, slamming the door in the process.

We all sit in silence for a few minutes, just eating our pancakes.

"So…" Colby says quietly. "I think I understand the issue now."

"Yeah." Randy replies. "Sorry about doing that on your birthday, Codes."

Cody laughs. "Dude, I loved it. She's been a total bitch."

I notice that one of Randy's hands is balled up in a fist. I grab that hand gently.

Randy unclenches his fist to hold my hand. "I can't believe I used to sleep with her."

Everyone quietly looks at Randy, who is obviously very pissed off.

"I'm so happy that we're going to Winnipeg tonight." I say.

Colby rolls his eyes. "You guys are leaving me here with that."

"Blame Chris and Morgan."

"I can ask them if you can come, Colby." Maryse says.

"You don't need to, Maryse." Colby says.

Maryse pulls out her phone to text Morgan. "Too late, Lopez."

"Thanks. Is that an engagement ring?"

Maryse looks down at her hand. "Oh yeah. I forgot you didn't know yet. Ted and I are engaged."

"Well congratulations, you two."

"Thanks." Ted and Maryse reply.

Eve starts picking up all of the plates since everyone is done eating.

I stand up. "While you guys are figuring out if Colby can go, I'm going to go upstairs. Randy, come with me."

Randy follows me into the bedroom and closes the door. "Are you about to tell me that I went overboard on Cami?"

I sigh. "No. I'm not."

Randy sits on the bed. "What are you about to say then?"

I sit on his lap. "I just want to make sure you're okay."

"Why?"

"I'm not saying you went overboard, but you were awful quick to snap on Cami."

Randy pulls me close to his chest. "Yeah. I was."

"You're stressing. You keep telling me not to stress, but you are stressing yourself."

"Maybe you're right."

"I am right. Take your own advice, Randy, and enjoy the rest of the week. My birthday is in two days. I want you in a good mood."

Randy sighs. "I'm sorry. Just between all the shit with Cami and Tyler, the stolen money, and now Punk's words and both of us being attacked this week, I'm really stressed out. And on top of that, I'm a little worried about the boxes for your sake."

I nod. "Yeah. I totally get it. I'm so over Tyler and Cami."

"Me too. I really wanted to kick her out today. But Tyler will go with her, and you wanted to wait until after your birthday."

"That's only two more days. As far as I'm concerned, the second it's July 3, we boot them out."

"Glad to see you and I are on the same page. Can I tell you something?"

"Anything."

"Well…I um I don't think that um that Vance is mine."

I look at Randy a little surprised. "You don't think he's yours?"

"I don't."

I sigh. "Honestly, I've had a slight suspicion about that since she's been around. I just didn't say anything because I figured you'd get mad."

Randy nods. "I see your point. She probably slept with other people around the same time."

"Well…" I start. "I heard not that long ago that Cami was sleeping with René Dupree at the same time as you."

"Who told you that?"

"Jay. But it was before all this championship drama."

"So it might be true. I want to get Vance paternity tested."

"How are you going to do that?"

"I don't know, but I'm going to do it. But right now, we're going to focus on the gender reveal party and your birthday."
