Major Warning: This story is super fluffy

Piper POV:

After the war with Gaea and her minions, Piper had never thought that they would ever lead a normal life. But looking back at how far she has come, she can't help but push that thought away. She was waiting near the campfire to meet Jason, but he is no where to be seen. He texted her [they are able to use cellphones as the Hephaestus cabin came up with a new way for communication to work without attracting monsters] to meet at the campfire after everybody left to their cabins. It was just a text, but it had a sense of urgency or importance, but something Piper couldn't place.

Come to think about it, he was acting weird this entire week. Suddenly, Piper felt as if she did something wrong in their relationship. Was he trying to break up with her? Did she do anything wrong? She got really overwhelmed with these questions that tears started to emerge from her eyes, threatening to break loose for the thought of even losing Jason.

She just couldn't hold these thoughts anymore and so she runs away to the woods hoping to avoid the harpies.

Jason POV:

I was about to meet Piper at the campfire and prepared really hard to propose to her. After Percy and Annabeth's daughter Zara was born, Leo and Calypso married, I couldn't help but feel to move on as well and I was glad that I had Piper for that. I did have this thought before but it never striked me that it would have to do with marriage. Looking at the happiness my friends have found with their partners, I couldn't help but feel the want for that feeling with Piper. Piper and I have had many memories. We traveled through many journeys. And I can not think of a thought of losing her. I wouldn't let anyone hurt her.

I asked Percy and Leo to assist me with ring shopping about a week ago. In the end, I was stuck with deciding between a silver ring with sapphire in the middle, and a gold ring with a multicolored gem. [You will know which ring Jason picks when he proposes.]

As the week progressed, I was waiting for the perfect moment to propose to Piper. But, at the time I was about to take the box from my pocket, there was always a disturbance. So, I decided to text her to meet me at the campfire when everyone went to their cabins. It took me some time to go there, because suddenly I was thinking maybe it was too fast, maybe she won't like the ring, maybe she won't say yes... I decided to put my act together and propose to her.

I was making my way to the campfire when suddenly someone ran off to the woods. I could tell it was Piper with the feather hanging from the figure's braided hair. I quickly ran after her to make sure she was alright. It was weird of her to suddenly leave like that.

Piper POV:

My face burned with hot tears and my legs couldn't move anymore. My knees involuntarily feel down on the ground and I could feel my face getting hot. Then, I heard footsteps following and quickly wiped them off. I felt a hand touch my shoulder. And there he was.

I guess my eyes gave it away to those next four questions.

"Piper, why are you crying? Did someone hurt you? Why did you run off? Tell me, did someone hurt you?"

"There is nothing wrong Jason, but never mind that and tell me why did you want to meet me at the campfire?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Piper, look at me" He cupped my face into his hands waiting for me to look at his eyes. Those electrifying blue eyes. I can't help but melt into those pools of skies. [Yes, I just described the sky as water.] And suddenly, he just wrapped me into a hug. I placed my hand at the right side of his chest, feeling his heart beat. It was beating rapidly. I don't know what came into my mind, but the dams in my eyes broke out. He hugged me even tighter, making me feel calm in his presence.

"Jason, I..I.. Are you breaking up with me?" He stared at me in disbelief, unwrapping from the hug. [Yes, she really asked that question when he was hugging her and asked those questions. SO UNBELIEVABLE]

"Piper, what are you saying. What made you think that I would break up with you? I would never ever lose you by making such a stupid mistake." he almost yelled.

"I don't know what to say Jason, but this week you have been acting weird and that made me feel as if we were being distant. So I thought that you would break up with me." There I go again sobbing, in which he hugged me again. I felt bad for ruining his hoodie and started to pull away.

"Piper don't. I don't care about a freaking hoodie. I care about you. And I will never hurt you, you understand that?"

I nodded a yes and looked into those eyes. It's like he could read my mind.

"Jason, I'm sorry. I guess just the thought of losing you...I couldn't face it."

"I will never leave you Piper. I will never."

"I love you, you know that?"

"I love you more, Do you know that?"

"I love you most, can you beat that?"

"Yes, I love you the mostest"

We ended up watching the night sky and naming the constellations. At some point, we had a competition on who would name the most. Obviously, Jason being the son of Zeus, won. Jason decided that it would not be great if the harpies catch us, so he dropped me off at the Aphrodite cabin and gave a sweet, passionate kiss which was enough to make my head go dizzy. I was about to go inside, when Jason caught my hand and said "Piper..?"

"Hmm?" I hummed

"Do you want to go watch the Fireworks with me tomorrow night?"

"Pick me up at my cabin?" he nodded and like that we ended the night with another kiss and went back to each others cabins. I was lucky that my siblings dozed off into sleep that day. Or else. I was about to change, when Lacey asked "show me your hands."

How come she is not asleep. I asked why but obliged to her command. She responded with a chuckle and said nothing back. Very strange.

The ring selection has a meaning behind it. The blue ring to represent Jason's eyes, which piper likes. The multicolored ring represents Piper's kaleidoscopic eyes which Jason likes.
