Taiyang looked at his opponents. "Okay." He spoke. "The first one of you to land one hit without the use of your semblance wins."

"What do we win dad?" Yang asked.

"Your choice. Oh, and Jason. No boosters."

Jason looked at Tai but nodded.

"What about me?" Summer asked.

"No weapons."

"Okay." Summer said with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.

"Go." Tai said.

Yang and Jason charged Tai.

Tai blocked Yang's punch, and Jason's kick.

Jason's kick sent Tai sliding backwards until he spun off the excess speed and stood up.

Yang took the chance to rush her dad again, but this time she punched him with her Cybernetic arm.

Tai caught her arm and threw her over his shoulder.

Summer ran up and punched at Tai with a punch he was able to push aside with almost no effort.

Jason jumped over Summer and brought his foot down on Tai who crossed his arms over his head and blocked the kick.

The force behind the kick cratered the ground under Tai's feet, and Tai pushed off the ground sending Jason stumbling backward.

Yang took the opportunity to attack her dad from behind.

Tai spun around and kicked Yang away.

Summer was back up and ran at Tai with another punch that he brushed away.

Jason ran and punched at Tai, but Tai dodged to the left.

Jason spun around and punched Tai who wasn't expecting the hit to come that fast.

Tai went flying into a tree that cracked.

"Tai!" Jason yelled running over to him.

"Dad!" Yang yelled at the same time Summer yelled. "Tai!" Before mother and daughter ran towards their husband and father.

Tai got up and pulled his scroll out looking at his Aura.

With the fight and getting knocked into a tree he was just under half Aura.

"I'm sorry Tai." Jason said when he got over to him.

"Tai!" Summer said. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Tai said. "Just a little shaken that's all."

"What was that?" Yang asked.

"Sorry." Jason said. "I don't know why, but I let loose. Sorry Tai."

"Jason. It's fine. My Aura protected me, and I'm fine."

"Why don't you tell me what's wrong?" Summer asked in a motherly tone.

Jason sat down against a tree. He leaned his head against the bark and looked into the sky. "It's Weiss."

"Who is this Weiss?" Summer asked in a tone that sounded both motherly and amused. "Is she your girlfriend?"

"Well yeah. Sort of. Before the..." Jason took in a shaky breath. "Before the Vytal Festival I made her a promise that I would protect her, and take care of her, and her sister asked me if I could protect Weiss from her father..."

"Why would you need to protect her from her father?"

"Her father is a bastard at the best of times."

"Oh. Okay."

"Anyway, I promised her sister that I could, and I proved that I could. So, her sister gave us her blessing because she knew that her father wouldn't."

"Why not?"

"Her father is a dick who wants to control her life."

"That's terrible."

"Yeah, and I found out that her father is going to force her to marry someone she doesn't want to marry."

"Then why are you here?" Yang asked. "Why aren't you in Atlas right now bringing her here?"

"She told me to wait till the Gala to come get her."

"When is the Gala?" Tai asked.

"She said it was two months away when I talked to her, and I've been training for the past two weeks after two weeks of healing and mourning so it's in a month."

"Then you should get going. Without air travel..."

"Can't you ask General Ironwood?"

"If he hasn't left yet."

"I don't think that's a good idea." Jason said.

"Why not?" Tai asked.

"Atlas guards killed Damian."

"They were hacked to do that." Yang said.

"Yeah. I know, but..."

"But nothing." Tai said in a stern tone. "If you love Weiss that much then you won't let that keep you from getting to her."

"Why would Weiss want me anymore?" Jason asked.

"Why wouldn't she..." Summer began. "You're worried that if you can't see then you won't be able to protect her. Aren't you?"

Jason nodded.

Summer knelt down and moved Jason's head, so he was looking at her. She looked into the dark sockets where Jason's eyes used to be. "You have nothing to worry about, and to prove it you and Tai can go all out. Think of Tai as Weiss's dad, and Yang and I as Weiss. If you can protect us from Tai who's going all out, then you can protect Weiss from pretty much anything."

"Okay."

Tai took the chance and punched Jason six times with each punch getting stronger than the last.

On the sixth punch Tai punched Jason through the tree, he was leaning against giving Jason the time he needed.

Jason rolled into a standing position and clicked his tongue creating a rough image of the battlefield.

He saw Tai standing in front of him before turning to face Yang and Summer. 'No, you don't!' He said before launching himself at Tai creating a pressure wave that shattered the trees around him.

He caught Tai by the head and spun him into the ground before bringing his foot down where Tai used to be.

Tai saw Jason's foot coming down and rolled out of the way seconds before Jason stomped a hole into the ground.

Jason pulled his foot out of the ground and ran at Tai who punched him into a tree.

"Do you really think Weiss's dad will play fair?" Tai asked.

Jason heard the click of a gun and looked around. He saw Tai holding a Tonfa/gun at Summer and Yang. He disappeared into a shadow and appeared in front of Summer and Yang seconds before the blast hit, and he took it to the chest.

Tai walked up to him and pointed one Tonfa/gun at him, and one at Summer and Yang. "You lose. I win."

Jason grabbed Tai and slammed him into the ground before kicking him into a tree.

Tai shook his head and got up shakily before he shook his head and ran at Jason and started punching him.

Jason could feel each punch getting stronger until he coughed up blood.

"Jason." The Alpha said worried. "You need to end this fight quickly before you pass out. While you are immortal now you still have to be careful. You can't just get up after you get beaten to death. You have to fight smart. Now beat him so you have time to heal."

Jason punched Tai up into the air, grabbed his foot and slammed him into the ground before swinging him into the ground four more times, and throwing him into the tree.

"I'm out." Tai said getting to his feet shakily. "My Aura is almost out, and it needs time to replenish."

Jason dropped to his knees. "Thank the brothers that that's over."

"Do you think that you can protect Weiss now?" Summer asked.

"Yeah."

"Are you still self-conscious about your eyes?"

"A little."

"Don't worry. Now go rest. Leave tomorrow, and make sure to pack a bag. You'll need it."

Jason went back to the house to get ready. While he was packing Yang came in.

"Hey Jason."

"Yeah?"

"Are you going to bring Weiss back here?"

"Maybe. We'll have to see. My original plan was to go get her after I had finished training with Bruce, but you can see how that turned out."

Yang winced. "Sorry."

"Don't worry about it."

"How are you going to get to Atlas if General Ironwood isn't here?"

"I'll make a series of shadow jumps and follow Weiss's scent."

"How long will that take?"

"It could take up to a month."

"But Weiss needs you now."

"Then I guess that I should find an airship."

"Or find General Ironwood. Why do you hate him anyway?"

"It's not that I hate him. I hate the fact that his Atlesian knights got hacked. I hate Cinder for hacking them. So, I guess that my rage isn't directed at General Ironwood, but at Cinder."

"So, you're not going to attack him?"

"No. One of the very few good things that happened with Damian's family was that I was able to heal my mind, at least somewhat, and now I can think more clearly."

"I still can't believe that Damian was the good twin."

"Yeah. My only regret was that I wasn't able to make Rhea pay tenfold for what she did."

Yang didn't know what to say so she walked over to Jason and patted his shoulder. She looked at his bag and was shocked. "How were you able to pack so neatly?"

"Just because I lost my eyes doesn't mean I'm blind. I can create a rough image of my surroundings and I can see... technically."

"So, is that how you've been getting around, and fighting?"

"Yeah. If there isn't a lot of noise, then I click my tongue and it acts as echolocation. Then I see outlines of whatever is around me giving me a 360-degree view of my surroundings."

"That's cool."

"Yeah. In a way it is."

Jason zipped up his bag and put it on the floor before walking outside.

"Where are you going?"

"To say goodbye."

Yang understood what Jason meant. She caught herself thinking about the day she walked into the kitchen and saw her mom fixing breakfast.

Yang woke up and looked over to see Scott sleeping on the floor. She got up and started her day with a shower and brushed her teeth. When she went back to her room Scott was up and had grabbed the stuff to help her get ready.

She sat down on the edge of her bed and let Scott comb her hair. She had come to enjoy her mornings with Scott, and even found herself leaning into his touch.

When Scott came to a knot in her hair, he carefully combed it out with a gentleness that wouldn't seem possible considering his size and personality.

Once he was done, he tied her hair up with a hair band and helped her with her shoes.

When he was done tying her shoes, he kissed her on her head and left for the day.

"You'll be back tonight?" She asked him on his way out."

"Wild Grimm couldn't keep me away." He said before leaving with his Team, Coral, and Loki.

Yang got up and went to the kitchen for some coffee.

She grabbed the coffee pot and poured a cup of coffee before taking a sip.

"Are you just going to have coffee?" A female voice said from the table startling Yang.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't..."

"Mom?" Yang asked looking at her, supposed to be dead, mother.

"Hi sweetie." Summer said.

Yang ran over and wrapped her arm around her mom before bawling like a baby.

Summer ran her hand through Yang's hair. "Shh. Shh. I'm here."

Yang said something that she knew to be. "Where have you been?" But Summer heard as unintelligible noise.

"If you asked where I have been then that is a sad story." Summer said as she led Yang to the couch.

Summer sat down, and Yang sat down next to her before leaning into her shoulder.

"When I left all those years ago, I was going on a standard hunt, but I got hurt. When I woke up, I was in a healer's tent and told that I was very lucky. I didn't feel lucky, and after I was healed, I tried to leave, but the people told me that I couldn't. I tried to leave them many times, and eventually they threw me into a cell."

"You were in prison?"

"Yes. That is until Jason found me."

"Where is Jason?"

Summer went quiet for several minutes.

"Mom?"

"He's in yours and Ruby's old room with his sister."

"What happened to his sister?"

"She was hurt very badly, and Doctor Green isn't sure how much longer she will be with us."

Yang could feel tears stinging the corners of her eyes.

"What's wrong?" Summer asked.

"Why can't people just give Jason a break?"

"What do you mean?"

"Ever since Jason was six his life has been complete shit..."

"Watch your language young lady." Summer said.

Yang blushed before rephrasing. "Ever since he was six Jason's life has been terrible. His uncle killed his family, threw him out on the street, he had to watch his only friend at that point walk away with a group of perverts, he watched her die, he has suffered from PTSD ever since, he lost his legs during our second semester at Beacon, his entire Team was killed during the fall, and now his sister was hurt, and could possibly die? He's been through enough, and he deserves a break."

Summer looked horrified. "How has he stayed so strong for this long?"

"He hasn't. There was one point that if became too much, and he tried to end it all."

"You mean he..."

"Yeah."

"Poor boy."

The two sat in silence for a while until Summer spoke up. "Do you think it would be okay if we took him in?"

"If you mean adopt him then dad already beat you to it, kind of."

"What do you mean?"

"When I was fifteen, Ruby was thirteen, and Jason was fourteen Ruby was being bullied at Signal. Jason stepped in and defended her, even from me, uncle Crow, and Dad."

"So, what did you guys do?"

"Jason told us that he wouldn't let us near Ruby until Ruby felt safe, but she ran to us. The next day we found Jason and started hanging out with him. It wasn't until two months after that we found out what happened, and dad said that he could crash at the house when he wanted to. He started hanging out here, and he brought Loki over."

"Loki. She's one of the older girls?"

"Yeah. The other one is her significant other Coral."

"Okay. What happened then?"

"The first night that Jason spent the night he scared us half to death."

"Why?"

"He woke up screaming for Shira."

"Oh. Nightmares."

"Yeah."

"What did you do?"

"Loki told us that a lullaby helps him sleep."

"Oh. So, you started singing him lullaby's?"

"Yeah. Qrow downloaded the song you used to sing, and Ruby and I memorized it so we could sing it to Jason when he got anxious, scared, had a nightmare, or just needed to be calmed down."

"Do you mean "Lullaby for a stormy night?"

"Yeah, that's the one."

"I miss singing that to you guys."

Yang blushed a little before saying. "M-maybe you could sing it to me tonight?"

"I'd love to." Summer said pulling Yang into a hug. "Your dad told me not to ask, but what happened to your arm?"

Yang gulped. "Someone cut it off to try and hurt one of my teammates."

"What!" Summer shouted in outrage. "Why?!"

"He said that he would take everything she cared about before killing her."

Summer hugged Yang tightly. "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry that you got hurt. My sunny little dragon."

Yang was brought out of her flashback by her mom. "Is everything okay?"

"I don't know." Yang said running her cybernetic hand through her hair. "I don't want Jason going to Atlas alone in his condition, but I still have a way to go before I can leave, and everyone else is taking care of Beacon or gone somewhere else."

"Well then. What do you suggest?"

Yang was about to say something when there was a knock on the door.

Summer answered the door and slammed it shut. "Yang! Go get your father."

"Wh-What? Why?"

"They are here!"

Yang ran upstairs to her parents' room and pounded her fist on the door. "Dad! There's trouble!"

Taiyang opened the door and saw a scared Yang. "What's wrong?"

"Mom says that there is someone here who's not supposed to be here."

Tai and Yang ran downstairs and to the front door. They dropped into fighting stances and nodded.

Summer moved from the door and let it swing open.

In the doorway stood a man. He seemed to be about ten years older than Yang.

"Hello." He said in a warm voice. "Is this the Xiao Long/Rose residence?"

Tai and Yang looked at each other in confusion.

"Who are you and why the hell did you scare my wife?"

"Language Tai!" Summer hissed at him. "No wonder Yang swears like a sailor."

"Just wait till you hear Coral when she starts." Yang said. "Then I'll sound like a cleric."

"Um. Excuse me." The man said. "I'm looking for Jason Todd. I have something for him."

"Who are you?" Yang demanded.

"My name is Richard Grayson. I am from the Al Ghul Clan. That is why I assume your wife was startled by me. I mean absolutely no harm to anyone. I just came to give Jason a gift from Bruce to act as an apology, farewell gift, and peace offering."

"The hell!" Yang yelled. "After what that bitch did to Violet do you really think some random gift is going to make it all better?"

"Yang!" Summer scolded.

"I was talking about Rhea mom."

"Oh. No! Still. No swearing!"

"I'm terribly sorry." Richard said. "I really wish that we would have realized about Rhea sooner, but..."

"But nothing. You know damn well what Rhea did. Hell. You know what Talia did. What do you think you could give Jason in return for that?"

"This." Richard said pulling a crimson sword from a sheath on his back.

"I-is That Crimson Storm?" Yang asked.

"Yes. Bruce said that he would keep the 'Swing Slash' in honor of Damian's life. I know that a weapon cannot replace a loved one, but if Jason is here, I would like to give it to him myself."

"He's down at the end of the road saying goodbye to Violet." Yang said. "You might want to wait at the tree line for him."

"Yes. Bruce told me that his senses were quite sharp."

"The ones he has left." Yang said harshly before walking up the stairs.

Tai noticed Richard flinch when Yang said that. "Come on. I'll take you; that way Jason will catch my scent as well."

"Thank you. Also, Miss Rose." Richard said sheepishly. "I am very sorry for what Talia did to you. She had no right to imprison you or anyone else."

"What about Rhea?" Summer asked.

"We didn't know that either of them were keeping prisoners... well Ra's might have known, but no one else did."

"How did you know about me?"

"You probably don't remember, but years ago before you disappeared you helped a young boy find his way back to his parents."

"That was you?" Summer asked.

"Yes ma'am. I'm sorry to say that that was the last time I saw my parents before they left on a hunt and didn't come back. When I heard the news, I tried to find you, but I couldn't."

"What happened?" Summer asked as tears stung the corners of her eyes.

"Bruce took care of me. He trained me to fight and made sure I had food and water. I was on a hunt when Jason killed Rhea, Talia, and Ra's..."

"Ra's is dead?"

"Yes. The healer said that his Semblance was taken, and without it he died."

"Oh. So, who's leading now?"

"Bruce and Selina."

Summer smiled at the mention of Selina's name.

Tai and Richard left to find Jason.

Jason left the house and followed his sense of smell and extended his sense of touch to find the cliffs where they buried Violet.

He was about halfway there when he smelled two unfamiliar presences standing in front of him. "Hello." He said before getting the rough image of what they looked like.

A man who stood about 6'2" and a woman who stood about 5'0". The man had twin long swords on his back while the woman had a circular shield on hers.

"Hi." The man said. "We are looking for Jason Todd. Could you direct us to where he is staying?"

"Who's asking?"

"My name is Bronze, and this is my wife Mocha. We own the insurance company that takes care of all Dust companies. We are sorry for the loss of Your job and are here to pay for the loss of your businesses."

"Seriously?"

"Yes, but you have to prove that you are Jason Todd."

"How?"

"Well. We are going to fight you."

"Say what now?" Jason asked.

"I'm sorry. I forget to mind my tongue sometimes. We do our research on people, so we know how best to make sure they are them."

"Ever hear of a DNA test?" Jason asked dryly.

"Yes, but we have decided that the best way for someone to prove themselves is to make them do something that only they can do, and we have seen your fights. So, if you can defend against us for five minutes then you are the real Jason Todd."

"That doesn't make any sense. If anyone could hold out against you for five minutes, then you would be wrong."

"Try it." Bronze said.

"Do you want me to go all out?"

"Sure. We know every nuance of your fighting style so we will know if you are Jason or an impostor."

Jason dropped into a defensive stance. 'Without my eyes I can't charge in blindly anymore... seriously? I've been hanging around Tai and Yang too long.'

"Go!" Mocha yelled.

Jason pushed off the ground creating a pressure wave that knocked Bronze off his feet.

Mocha was so shocked at the speed generated by Jason that she almost didn't see his metal leg coming right at her face.

She activated her semblance, speeding out of the way a split second before Jason would have kicked her into a tree.

"So, you have a speed semblance." Jason said matter of factly. "You'll be a tough opponent."

"What about me?" Bronze said swinging the twin long swords at Jason.

Jason activated his left booster and spun to the right before activating his right booster and spin kicking Bronze out of the way.

Jason sniffed the air and found Bronze' scent. He kicked off the ground and charged him.

Mocha saw Jason running at Bronze and ran to intercept. She reached Bronze first and pulled her shield off before blocking against Jason, but the attack never came. Instead, Bronze was pulled forward and knocked her off her feet.

"Ow!" Bronze said when Mocha landed on his face.

"You rolled into me!" She yelled at him.

"No. I was pulled into you."

The two looked at Jason and saw his shadow returning to him.

Mocha threw her shield at Jason who ducked and flipped landing on the shield and pushing it into the ground.

Bronze changed his twin long swords into AR-10's and began shooting at Jason.

Jason disappeared into his shadow and appeared behind Bronze.

Mocha's semblance cut off and she yelled. "Time!"

Jason stopped his attack. "So, did that prove that I am Jason Todd?"

"Yes, it did." Bronze said. "I must say that you were an amazing opponent, and I will want a rematch someday."

"Done." Jason said extending his hand to shake Bronze's.

Bronze had to reach to the left because Jason's hand was angled a little oddly. Turns out he actually was blind. "Here you go." Bronze said handing him a check. There's one million Lien for Todd Import/Export, a half million Lien because your family were such good investors, and a half million lien for Todd Enterprises. All in all, that gives you two million Lien to rebuild once Vale is cleared of any Grimm."

"Thank you. If you need to contact me, I'll be heading to Atlas tomorrow."

"Thank you, Mister Todd. It was a pleasure doing business with you."

Jason shook hands with Bronze and Mocha before they went their separate ways.

Jason headed towards the cliffs. He could smell the salty sea air mix with the smell of the trees.

"Hey sis." He said to the gravestone. "I'm heading to Atlas tomorrow and I wanted to say goodbye." Jason knelt down by the grave. He put his hands on either side of himself and put his head to the ground. "I'm sorry that I couldn't save you. If I could go back in time I would. If I could trade my life for yours I would. I would give up my sight one hundred times over. Please forgive me."

Bronze and Mocha walked into their room at the inn they were staying at.

"That was an amazing fight." Bronze said.

"Yeah. I did find it enjoyable."

"What did you find out?"

"We already knew that he was blind so that wasn't a big surprise, but the fact that he fought so well was interesting."

"I agree. I can't wait to fight him again."

"Is there nothing else you want more?" Mocha asked suggestively.

Bronze grabbed Mocha and pulled her into a hug before kissing her passionately.

Mocha pulled her legs around Bronze's waist.

Bronze walked over to the bed and they fell onto the bed.

Tai and Richard made their way to the cliffs where they found Jason on all fours with his head in front of the grave. "... Please forgive me." He spoke.

"I'm pretty sure she would." Dick said from the tree line.

Jason grabbed two throwing knives and threw them at Richard.

Richard caught them. "Impressive."

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Jason asked.

"My name is Richard Grayson and I..."

Jason threw another throwing knife. "Where did you get that sword?"

Richard pulled 'Crimson Storm' from his back. "Bruce told me to give you this. He knows that it won't take away what Rhea and Talia did, but..."

Jason punched Richard in the face. "What Rhea did was unforgivable!" Jason snarled letting bloodlust roll off him, and letting an Alpha pulse slip out causing Richard to fall to his knees. "Rhea was a monster, and my biggest regret is that Rhea didn't have the Lazarus Semblance so I can't make her pay for all of the torture she put Violet through."

Richard put his hands over his ears. "I didn't know about Rhea!" He yelled in pain.

"HEY!" Tai yelled stepping in front of Richard and grabbed Jason's leg that was coming up to kick Richard. "He didn't know! He wasn't even there when it happened. He was on a mission and got back after you left. He just came here to give you the sword to..."

"TO MAKE UP FOR VIOLETS DEATH!"

"NO! Maybe. Richard why did you come to give him the sword?"

"Bruce knows that it won't bring Violet back, but he wants to try and mend the damage caused by Rhea, Talia, and Ra's."

"See!" Tai said. "Hear him out before you kill him."

"Yeah..." Richard began. "...Wait what?"

"You have five minutes." Jason said in a dark tone.

"Okay." Richard said quickly. "Bruce has completely remade the clan. He married Selina and they are relocating to another area to get rid of the taint of Ra's' rule. He wants a clean slate to start over. He sent me to give you this, the 'Crimson Storm' Katana/Bow in order to repair the relationship between the Alpha and the Clan."

"How does Bruce know that I'm the Alpha?"

"He figured it out. He's probably the smartest man I know. The only one who is as smart as him would be another kid in the Clan named Drake."

"Is that his first name?"

"No. His first name is Tim."

"Does the Clan not use colors to name their kids?"

"No. It's just that some of the parents in the Clan don't feel the need to name their kids after colors. My family, Bruce's family, Ra's, Tim's family, and a few other families who didn't give their children color or art-based names."

Jason nodded for Richard to continue.

"Though we have gained nicknames throughout the years."

"What nicknames have you gained?" Jason asked.

Richard blushed. "In order I have been given the nicknames: Robin, Dick, and Nightwing."

"Why are you embarrassed?" Jason asked.

"How did you..."

"I can smell your embarrassment, hear it on your voice, and taste it on the air."

Richard looked at him quizzically.

"So how did you get the name Robin?"

"It was a name my mom called me before she..." Richard said quietly.

"Before she died?" Jason asked softly.

"Yeah. Her and my dad."

"Was your mom or your dad the Faunus?"

Richard was almost shocked by the revelation but realized that Jason probably smelled it. "My dad." He said unwrapping his tail from his waist.

"Whoa." Tai said in shock. He knew that Jason was good but knowing that someone was a Faunus without seeing their Faunus trait was impressive.

"How did you know?"

"Faunus and Humans have different scents. Faunus have a faint animal smell to them, while Humans don't. You smelled like a monkey Faunus. One of my, I think we are friends, is a cat Faunus. Even though she hides her Faunus trait behind a hair bow."

"Oh, You're good." Richard said.

"So. What do you want me to call you?" Jason asked.

"You can call me Richard or Grayson."

"Okay." Jason took in a deep breath. "So, Bruce wants to mend the relationship?"

"Yes." Dick said hurriedly reaching for 'Crimson Storm'. "Here." He handed 'Crimson Storm' to Jason.

Jason took 'Crimson Storm' in both hands. He slid the Blade out of the sheath hearing the song of the blade leaving its sheath. He ran his hands along the blade feeling the smooth metal under his fingers. He felt the grain of the metal and ran his finger along the blade feeling it cut into his Aura, and eventually break the skin.

He took his finger off the blade and felt his skin close, and his Aura repair.

"What's wrong?" Grayson asked.

"It's just... The last time I saw this sword... Damian had Just died."

Grayson flinched.

"I didn't even look at it when I gave it to Bruce. I couldn't. It was a terrible reminder."

"I'm sorry."

Jason was about to say something when he heard and felt elation through the island of Patch. He moved through the woods towards the noise.

As he got closer to the noise, he recognized the voices. He heard Scott, and Loki first off. Then he heard Coral and Jose. He finally heard Gale.

When he met up with them, he was engulfed by them.

"What's going on?" Jason asked.

"Vale is clear!" Loki said in excitement. "Beacon and Vale are clear!"

"That's great."

"We can start rebuilding!" Scott yelled in relief.

"PARTY TIME!" Jose and Gale yelled.

Jason slammed his hands over his ears.

"Break it up!" Coral said sternly.

Everyone quieted down.

"Oh." Loki said. "We brought back more weapons. I found this for you." She handed him something. "It's a shotgun/Scabbard."

Jason caught a hint of something. He sniffed the Scabbard and dropped it before backing away.

"J-Jason?" Loki asked scared of what was happening.

It looked like Jason was glaring at the Scabbard, but without eye's it was hard to tell what he was feeling.

"Taurus!" Jason said darkly.

"Wait, what?" Scott asked. "As in Adam Taurus? As in the guy who cut off Yang's arm?"

"Yes." Jason said looking like he wanted to run away.

Coral walked up to Jason. "Hey. Listen." She hugged Jason. "You don't need to use it."

"No." Jason said shaking his head. "I need it."

"Why?"

"So, I can hunt Adam Taurus down, and kill him."

"No. Shh." Coral pulled Jason in close. "No. Don't do that. You have been through enough. Don't hunt him down. If you run into him fine, but don't go off and looking for him. Go find happiness, go find Weiss."

Jason looked at Coral.

"Take this as a reminder to live a happy life." She said handing him the Scabbard.

Jason took the Scabbard. He took 'Crimson Storm' and slid it into the scabbard hearing a resounding click.

The next morning

Jason walked into the Bank on Patch.

"Hello sir." A man said coming up to him. "I am the Bank manager. May I help you?"

"Yeah. I need to deposit this check and find out the balance of my account."

"Very well sir. Do you have your Scroll?"

"Yes." Jason said handing the bank manager his scroll.

"Thank you, sir. If you will follow me this way."

Jason walked letting his footfalls land a little harder, leaving a satisfying *Click clack, click clack* on the floor, to give him a rough image of the bank's interior.

The Bank manager sat down at a desk, and Jason stood at the desk.

"Please sit down."

Jason let out a click with his tongue and saw the chairs. He sat down and waited.

The Bank manager plugged Jason's Scroll into his computer. "Oh my. Mr. Todd. Your balance is rather large. Our bank doesn't have that much on our premises."

"I'm not looking to withdraw." Jason said cordially. "I haven't spent much money at all and have put most of my income into savings. All in all, I only spent ten percent of my monthly income while putting the rest into savings. I didn't need much and spent most of that ten percent on my Family and friends, while spending the rest of it on charity."

"Do you mind me asking what makes a person this frugal?"

"A really tough childhood." Jason said cryptically.

The Bank manager went quiet. "I'm sorry." He said quietly.

"Can you give me a number of Lien cards?"

"How many?" The Bank manager asked regaining his composure.

"Twenty-two."

"How much were you planning on putting on the Lien cards?"

"One million each."

"Twenty-two million in lien cards?" The bank manager asked in shock. "Why?"

"I'm heading out of town for the foreseeable future... If you will pardon my poor choice of words, and I want to make sure that my friends and family have access to funds during this difficult time."

"That is most gracious of you Mr. Todd."

"I will also need access to my funds at all times."

"Well with your Lien card that shouldn't be a problem."

"Very well. Can I get the Lien cards now?"

"Yes, yes. Would you like to know the amount in your account before or after the twenty-two million is taken out and the two million is added?"

"After all is said and done please."

"Of course." The bank manager said getting to work.

Jason had to wait an hour before the bank manager came back.

"Here you are." He said handing Jason an envelope.

"Thank you." The bank manager sat down and sounded nervous. "The new balance is..."

"You can whisper the amount." Jason said.

"Your new balance is one billion Lien." The bank manager whispered sounding much more relaxed. "Thanks to your frugality, and the addition of Todd Enterprises you have amassed quite a substantial amount of wealth."

"Thank you." Jason said. "You have been most helpful."

The bank manager walked Jason to the door before shaking his hand.

Jason left the bank and headed home.

When he got home, he opened the door, and walked to his room.

"Hey Jason." Coral said.

"Hi Coral."

"Here." She said taking his hand and putting something in his hand.

Jason noticed the weight. "What is this?"

"Figure it out."

Jason felt the object and found a hilt. He pulled the blade out and heard the song of 'Crimson Storm' being pulled from a Scabbard. He put it back in the Scabbard and felt the Scabbard. "This belonged to Adam." It wasn't a question.

"Yeah. I put a fresh coat of paint on it and made it yours."

Jason put 'Crimson Storm' on his belt.

"So, are you going to rename it?"

Jason thought about it. "How about 'Scarlet Sunrise'?"

"Why did you choose that name?"

"Scarlet for Violet, and Sunrise for Yang."

"I like it." Coral said approvingly. "It shows that you put some thought into it, and to ensure that you won't forget."

Jason took out the envelope. He handed fourteen to her. "Can you make sure that four of these get to Team CFVY at Shade Academy in Vacuo?"

"Of course. What is this?"

"It's a thank you, a birthday gift, a Christmas gift, and just because all wrapped in one. I don't know when we will meet each other again, so this is my way of taking care of it."

"What are the others for?"

"There is one for each of you. I will be keeping eight of them in case I run into Team JNPR, Ruby, Blake, Weiss, and Geoff."

"How much did you put on them?" She asked skeptically.

"Enough." Jason said before grabbing his bag and heading out.

Jason walked to the air dock. "Is anyone going to Atlas?" He asked.

"Only if you're evacuating to Atlas." A guy said.

"I'm heading to Atlas. Isn't that enough?"

"Only if you're evacuating." The man said again.

"Look." Jason said trying not to get angry. "All I want to do is get to Atlas."

"And I told you that the only way you're getting to Atlas is if you're evacuating."

Jason was about to grab 'Scarlet' when he heard a familiar voice.

"I am." General Ironwood said. "Why do you need to get to Atlas Mr. Todd."

"I need to get there for personal reasons."

"Is it Miss Schnee?"

Jason nodded.

"Well then. I'll get you to Atlas. You're lucky. I was just about to leave."

"Great." Jason said. "Lead the way."

General Ironwood walked to an airship.

Jason walked onto the airship. "Thank you General."

"You're welcome. I'm really glad that you are coming to Atlas. I think that Miss Schnee will be happy to see you."

'I hope so.' Jason thought.

"The trip to Atlas is eight hours. So, you will have some time."

"Thanks." Jason said before sitting down on the floor in the lotus position.

He began meditating breathing in and out.

After five minutes of meditation, he opened his eyes to reveal his Mindscape.

He looked at his side and saw 'Scarlet Sunrise'. "Let's do this." He spoke.

He pulled the trigger on the Scabbard sending 'Scarlet' into the air.

'Scarlet' flew into the air, and out of Jason's reach.

'Wow.' A voice said sarcastically. 'That was impressive.'

"Hey Hell spawn."

'That was pathetic.'

"Yeah, I know. That's why I'm training."

'Yeah. You need it.'

"No thanks to your mom's handiwork."

Damian flinched. 'Yeah. If I would have said something about my family, at least my mom then you wouldn't have been hurt, or at least not as bad.'

"What about Rhea?"

'I didn't know about Rhea. My mom took care of Rhea, and my dad took care of me. As far as I knew we didn't know about each other.'

"Rhea seemed to know you."

'I didn't know about her.'

Jason sighed. "So, do you want to help me train?"

'Sure. Maybe my training will save your ass someday.'

Jason shook his head with a laugh. "Maybe."

Damian and Jason spent the next several hours helping Jason learn how to use 'Sunrise' to launch 'Scarlet' into the air and catch it.

Once Jason was able to catch 'Scarlet' without dropping it they moved on.

Damian reached over his shoulder and pulled 'Crimson Storm' from behind his back. 'Let's see what you can do.'

Jason shot 'Scarlet' into the air and caught it before he remembered that he had to take the time to find Damian.

'Dead.' Damian said.

Jason put 'Scarlet' back into 'Sunrise'.

'Let's go.' Damian said again.

Jason clicked his tongue and found Damian before shooting 'Scarlet' into the air and he caught it before he successfully blocked Damian's Strike.

'Not bad.' Damian said. 'For a beginner.'

"Don't even start. I trained with 'Crimson Storm' as much as you trained with the 'Vulcans'."

'True, but you're still not as good as me.'

"I will be."

'Sure, sure.'

They spent several more hours practicing on blocking Damian's first strikes.

'Not bad.' Damian said impressed. 'You might actually have a chance at becoming my equal in Swordsmanship.'

"I'll prove it right here, and now."

'Bring it!' Damian said.

Jason shot 'Scarlet' into the air, and blocked Damian's strike.

Damian let Jason's blade slide down to 'Crimson Storms' hilt, creating sparks along the blade, before pushing him back.

Jason spun around cutting at Damian.

Damian blocked the strike and spun behind Jason before swinging at him.

Jason activated the booster in his leg to get out of the way of Damian's strike.

Damian ran at Jason and pushed Jason onto the defensive by attacking him with a series of quick attacks.

Jason couldn't do anything but defend against Damian's attacks because Damian was moving faster than his other senses could compensate. He had to play this smart and realized what he could do. He activated the boosters in his legs before launching himself in the air.

Damian ran after Jason and jumped at him swinging at Jason's stomach.

Jason smirked and swung 'Scarlet' down hard enough to cause Damian to spin downward.

Jason went down and pointed 'Sunrise' at Damian.

'You win.' Damian said.

"You gave me a run for my money. Thanks."

'You're welcome. I'm sure that if you keep training then you will get better.'

"You and your half-assed compliments."

'What about them?'

"Eh. Just reminiscing."

'Yeah. We had some good times.'

"Just so you know. I don't blame you for what your mom and sister did. You are better than them. You are your father's son."

'If you're trying to embarrass me then it won't work.'

"No. Just finding it weird that you were the good twin."

Damian punched Jason in the shoulder. 'Don't worry. We'll take care of Violet. You just worry about taking care of the Ice Queen.'

"Thank you."

'Don't mention it. You're almost in Atlas, so wake up.'

Jason blinked awake.

"Oh." General Ironwood said. "I was just about to wake you. We are landing at Atlas Academy."

"Thank you." Jason said stretching his joints and popping them. He stretched his back popping his vertebrae. He twisted his neck from right to left popping it.

"Do you know where Schnee Manor is?" General Ironwood asked.

"No. I haven't been there."

"Okay. I'll get a car to take you there."

"Thank you, but I don't need one." Jason said standing up. He let his shadow travel through Atlas until it connected to Weiss's Shadow. "Bye." He said giving Ironwood a two fingered salute.

James Ironwood had seen many things as a general in the Atlesian military, but what he was surprised at was to see Jason disappear into his shadow and shot off towards Schnee Manor.

Jason appeared in an alcove behind Weiss.

"... I don't think you truly understand." A man's voice said.

Jason nearly gagged at the smell of lust rolling off the man.

"You are all alone." The man said. "There is nothing you can do."

'What is this guy doing? Is he blackmailing Weiss?' Jason began grinding his teeth.

"You might as well just accept my offer. Like I said. You're all alone."

'No, she's not.' Ruby said coming up and standing beside Weiss.

'Yeah.' Yang said walking up beside Weiss and crossing her arms over her chest and sneering at the man.

Blake walked up beside Yang.

Team JNPR walked up beside Ruby and gave the man dirty looks.

Team CFVY walked up beside Blake and glared daggers at him.

Team SAPH walked up beside Team JNPR. Scott crossed his arm over his chest and flexed, Jose tapped his cane on the ground in anticipation, Gale took out a bag and looked inside, and Geoff clenched his fists until they were white.

Team JADE walked up beside Team CFVY.

The man looked around him before turning around and running into Jason.

"Where do you think you are going?" Jason asked.

The man pulled at his collar. "I was just leaving."

Jason smacked the man hard enough to break his nose. "What were you going to do to Weiss?"

"N-n-nothing."

Jason smacked him again. "What's your name?"

"Me?"

Jason pushed the man to the ground before stepping on his leg hard enough to break it.

"AAAHHHHH!" The man yelled in pain.

"Weiss?" Jason asked. "What was he trying to do to you?"

"He..." Weiss was too embarrassed to say. "He wanted me to... I can't say." Weiss said feeling embarrassment flood over her.

Jason could feel the Embarrassment rolling off Weiss. "Do you want the chance to get even?"

Weiss knew that Jason was violent, and as long as it was directed in the right direction she didn't care, but she wasn't Jason. "No."

Jason picked the man up. "What's his name?"

"Arthur Marigold."

"Scott." Jason said with anger in his voice. "Please take out the trash."

'Right.'

Scott took Arthur to the door before throwing him outside. 'I suggest you go find a doctor. That leg is broken, and it could do more damage if you don't.'

With that Scott closed the door.

Weiss looked at Jason as the Shadow clones disappeared in the order that they showed up in.

"Hi." Jason said waving at her.

Weiss looked at Jason. " is that really you, or a shadow clone?"

"It's really me."

Weiss looked relieved and ran to Jason. "I'm so glad that you're here." Weiss said before crying into his shoulder.

"Shh." Jason cooed. "Shh. I'm here now."

"Who's there?" A kind older man came into the light.

"It's just me Klein." Weiss said wiping a tear from her eye.

"Did you make Weiss cry?" The man asked with red eyes.

"No." Weiss said. "It was Arthur Marigold. He told me that I was alone, and Jason used his Semblance to prove him wrong."

"Is this The Jason?" Klein asked his eyes changing colors again.

"Yes. This is That Jason." Weiss said.

"What's going on down there?" Jacques Schnee asked coming down the stairs.

"Go, go." Klein whispered.

Jason picked Weiss up and disappeared into a shadow.

"Klein?" Jacques asked. "What was that noise?"

"I'm sorry Mr. Schnee. I slipped. Thankfully, my Aura was able to..."

"I don't care. Just don't make any more noise."

"Of course, sir."

"Also, Arthur Marigold is supposed to be stopping by. Let me know when he gets here."

"Of course, sir."

AN: So, Jason gets to Atlas before the Gala, and saves Weiss from whatever Arthur Marigold was going to do to her. That scene was inspired by a digital comic where Jacques tells Weiss that she is all alone, but Team RWBY steps out of the shadows to prove Jacques wrong. I saw it and realized that Jason had the perfect semblance for that, and made it happen. Jason is self-conscious about having lost his eye's and Summer gets to be a mom to Jason. Yang and Summer have some bonding time, and Tai takes on Yang, Jason, and Summer. Beacon and Vale is now clear, but will it stay that way for lo
