Jason and Weiss walked through Atlas looking at different houses, mansions, and Estates for sale.

They looked through several until they came to one that they liked.

"Are you sure that you will be able to afford this?" The realtor asked.

"I'm sure." Jason said.

The realtor looked at Weiss. "I'm afraid that You won't be able to borrow from Miss Schnee.

"I really hate jack asses like you who assume to know whether or not a person can or can't afford a house just by looking at them." Jason said. "Do you know why?"

"Um. No sir."

"It's because you always assume that if someone who doesn't wear 1,500 Lien clothes or have an enormous amount of wealth is dating someone who is or does, that they don't have the funds to buy a house. Now. I will be buying this house, and I will not be taking out a loan to do so."

"Um sir. This house, even though it is on the cheaper side is still a rather large figure. You would need to have..."

Jason handed the man his Lien card.

The realtor sighed knowing that he was going to have to send the man and Miss Schnee away.

When the Scroll dinged in the affirmative, he was shocked. He looked at the Scroll to see if it had malfunctioned, but it hadn't. The man had the Lien to buy this house, but the only people with those kinds of funds were the Schnee's, unless... "Are you by chance Jason Todd?"

"And what if I am?"

"Oh! Mr. Todd! I am so sorry! I didn't mean to presume. It's just that you can't be too careful. Please accept my humblest apologies."

"It was the visor wasn't it?" Jason asked.

"Excuse me?"

"The visor. It threw you off. You had no idea that it was me because you couldn't see my golden eye's."

"Yes sir. The visor threw me off. Do you mind me asking how you lost them?"

"They were cut out." Jason said.

"Oh. I'm terribly sorry."

"It's fine. Could we have the codes?"

"Yes sir. Of course."

Jason and Weiss handed the realtor their scrolls and he transferred them over.

"Thank you." Weiss said taking her scroll back.

"You're very welcome Miss Schnee. Congratulations on your wedding."

"Thank you, but we aren't married yet. We are buying this for after the wedding."

"It's for our honeymoon." Jason said.

"I see, but don't you want to travel abroad for your honeymoon?"

"With all due respect sir." Weiss cut in. "We survived the Fall of Beacon. I don't think we need any more adventure for a while."

"Oh. I am terribly sorry Miss Schnee. I didn't mean to..."

"It's fine." Jason said.

"I will take my leave now."

"Goodbye and thank you."

"You are most welcome." The realtor said before leaving.

"Want to go see what we are going to need?" Jason asked Weiss.

"Let's."

They walked back inside the mansion and walked through.

On the first floor was a Kitchen, Dining room, Den, Ballroom, Study, Hall, Lounge, Library, Billiard room, and Conservatory.

They walked up the Grand Staircase to the second floor.

On the second floor there were more than two dozen rooms, all with a bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet.

"This is amazing." Weiss said. "I can't believe it was only 100,000,000 Lien."

"How much were you expecting it to be?"

"More than that."

"Want to check the basement?"

"This place has a basement?"

They walked down to the first floor and into the Kitchen.

In the back of the kitchen there was a panel that opened and led down to the basement.

Jason opened the door and activated his Aura before walking down into the darkness.

Weiss also activated her Aura and took Jason's hand.

They walked down to see wine stores.

"First thing we'll do is get rid of that thing." Jason said.

"You don't like it?"

"No. Do you?"

"No. I've seen what drinking does to a person through my mom. I want to get rid of it almost as much as you. Maybe more."

They walked through the Basement.

"Dusty." Jason said.

"Yeah. How are you able to stand it?"

"I'll manage."

They walked around the basement and found a large room with a grate in the wall.

"I think this would make for an excellent Armory." Jason said.

"I agree. Viridian would be very happy here."

"Yeah. Is there anyone that you want to take with you after the Gala?"

"I'd like to take Cliff and Whitley with us. I want to get them away from under Jacques' thumb."

"Okay. I want to get that Kangaroo mouse Faunus away from the Academy. I would like to get all Faunus away, but I have to be realistic, and help those that I can, and make Remnant a better place for all Faunus."

Weiss hugged Jason. "We will."

"Want to go shopping?"

"Yes. We still need to get you more clothes."

"I was speaking more to household items, but okay."

They left the mansion and went to several shops, and bought bedroom sets for each room.

They bought a dining room set for the dining room and cookware for the kitchen.

They bought couches, loveseats, easy chairs, and recliners because Weiss said it would annoy Jacques if he ever found out.

They bought three pool tables for the Billiard room.

Their last stop was at a clothing store where Jason and Weiss got several new outfits.

Weiss bought an elegant pale blue dress that dragged the floor with matching blue heels, and gloves.

Jason bought a royal blue three-piece suit complete with loafers, cane, and pocket watch.

At their next store they bought several designer outfits so they could be casual.

Weiss's were almost all white, while Jason's were a combination of black and red.

They picked out a hoodie, Jason's being a red zip up hoodie, and Weiss's being a white pull over.

Their final store was for nightwear.

They went and picked out several Pajama sets, but Jason picked out a pair of lounge pants and hoodies. 'Best to keep these a surprise.' He thought.

He also picked up two king sized air mattresses, with wind dust pump, and bedding.

They bought their purchases and went back to the mansion.

When they arrived back at the mansion, they put their clothes in their chosen bedrooms, and went out for dinner.

That night Jason opened the boxes to the air mattresses and started setting them up in their respective rooms.

He put his up before going to Weiss's room, and began setting hers up.

She came in as he was finishing.

"Hey." She spoke.

"Hey." Jason replied. "What's up?" He asked turning around to see Weiss in a pair of pale blue pajamas.

"Well. I was wondering..." She began tapping her index fingers together in a way that reminded him of Ruby. "...Would you stay with me tonight?"

Jason thought about that for a while before he looked at her. "Sure." He spoke. "Let me go change, and I'll be right back."

"Okay." Weiss said.

He went and changed into a pair of black and red pajama pants but kept his shirt on.

He walked back to Weiss's room, and saw her standing in the doorway with her arms folded over her chest.

"Hey." He spoke.

She wrapped an arm around him, and they walked to her bed.

She crawled under the covers and waited for him.

Jason pulled his shirt off showing his scarred arms with the scars leading under his muscle shirt.

He crawled under the covers with her and shut off the lights with his Scroll.

Weiss traced his scars with her finger. He'd endured so much since they'd seen each other last.

"Good night." He whispered to her.

"Good night." She whispered back.

He wrapped his arm around her before they slowly dozed off.

Whitley was smart. He noticed things that others didn't know he did.

He noticed how Weiss changed after the dinner with the Marigolds.

He'd expected her to be devastated but was surprised when the following day she seemed... Happier.

Was she really excited about moving in with the Marigolds? Or was it something else?

His question was answered a month later when he'd been kidnapped by Faunus who had snuck into Schnee Manor somehow.

His father had abandoned him so that he wouldn't have to treat Faunus as equals.

Jason and Weiss had come to save him. After everything he did to Weiss, she still came to save him.

When he'd gone home after the incident he'd gone to talk to his father.

"Father." He spoke.

"Whitley?" Jacques said startled. "How did you get away from the Faunus?"

"Weiss came to save me father."

"I see. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to see you, but I thought you were dead."

"Why didn't you give them what they wanted father?"

"I can't son. it's business. If I did it then they would want more. I can't let that happen."

"I see. Thank you for explaining it to me father."

"You're welcome son."

That was what had happened. His father said it was business, but Weiss came to save him after what he'd done to her. Why?

He wanted to find out, but he didn't want to bother her.

'Maybe I can ask her at the Gala.' He thought. 'Maybe.'

He went to ponder his thoughts.

Jason and Weiss stood in front of the building in Mantel.

They were both wearing designer Jeans and hoodies with their weapons on their belts.

"Well?" Jason asked. "What do you think?"

"Let's look inside first." Weiss said.

They walked inside and saw a large interior.

"I'm thinking we put the office in the back right there." Jason said. "And have everything else spread around. A kitchen right there." He pointed to the far left.

"We could put a pantry right there." Weiss suggested pointing to the central left by the kitchen.

"Okay. What if we put the bank right there?" He asked pointing at the far right.

"Then that means the repair shop goes to the central right." Weiss said.

"Do you think it will work?"

"Let's hope so."

"We'll take it." Weiss said to the Mantel realtor.

"Sign here please." The realtor said.

Jason and Weiss signed before they were given the codes to the building.

"We have a lot of work to do." Jason said.

"Mind if'n we help?" A thick Irish accent asked.

The couple turned around to see Geoff, Viridian, and Pyrrha walking towards them.

"We can use all the help we can get." Jason said.

"Then let's get ta work." Geoff said rolling up his sleeves.

They worked on the building for two weeks before it was finally finished.

Jason created plenty of Shadow clones to do the heavy lifting, while Geoff and Viridian built the different rooms in the building.

Pyrrha used her Semblance to lift fridges, stoves, and other appliances into their designated spaces, and Weiss watched them to make sure everything worked out.

During those two weeks the furniture, bedroom sets, and other household products arrived, and they took a day to organize the house with Cliff, Geoff, Pyrrha, and Viridian choosing their rooms.

They had been staying at Atlas Academy for the time being and were more than willing to move.

After two weeks of hard work, they were finished.

"This place will make fer a great relief center." Geoff said.

"It's a start to making the lives of Faunus better." Jason said. "I only hope we can help them."

"We will." Weiss said. "We will."

"Do you need to practice your singing before the Gala next week?" Jason asked.

"I could sing for you guys if you wanted."

They all agreed.

They went back to the mansion and Weiss sang the songs she would be singing at the Gala.

They were both haunting songs that made the hair on the backs of their necks stand on end.

"That was amazing." Geoff said.

"Aye lass." Viridian agreed.

"It was grand." Pyrrha said.

Jason nodded at her. "You were amazing."

Weiss felt that Jason's answer was a bit forced. Almost as if he wanted to strangle Jacques after hearing them. She guessed that after having to rely on your sight that your hearing would be better than most others.

She almost felt sorry for Jacques... almost.

Soon it was time for the Gala.

Weiss wore a dress Jacques had gotten her so he wouldn't become suspicious of her, and helped Jason get ready.

He was wearing his three-piece suit but had his Battle Gear in a bag that he would sneak in and change during in between the musical number and the Gala.

Weiss told him where her room was so he could change there.

He also made sure to bid an insane amount of money for the picture being Auctioned off that night.

When they were ready, they walked to the Gala and Jason used his Semblance to sneak in while Weiss walked right in.

It was time.

Weiss stood on the stage looking out at the audience. She looked in the third row and saw Jason smiling at her.

The lights went out and a spotlight fell on her, and she began singing.

Mirror, can you hear me?
Do I reach you?
Are you even listening?
Can I get through?
There's a part of me that's desperate for changes
Tired of being treated like a pawn
But there's a part of me that stares back from inside the mirror
Part of me that's scared I might be wrong
That I can't be strong...

I've been afraid, never standing on my own
I let you be the keeper of my pride
Believed you when you told me I was nothing on my own
Listen when I say, I swear it here today
I will not surrender, this life is mine!

Amazing how you conquered me, chained me in servility and made me see
The world the way you told me to
But I was young and didn't have a way to know the truth
Born to live your legacy
Existing just to fill your needs, a casualty
Of this so-called family that you have turned into a travesty
But I don't intend to suffer any longer
Here's where your dominion falls apart
I'm shattering the mirror that kept me split in pieces
That stood between my mind and my heart
This is where I'll start

I'm not your pet, not another thing you own
I was not born guilty of your crimes
Your riches and your influence can't hold me anymore
I won't be possessed
Burdened by your royal test
I will not surrender
This life is mine

Shame that it took so long to rescue me
From the guilt you used to tie me to your family tree
I guess your training failed, you're not in charge I'm free
Your patriarchal prison won't hold me
Now this conversation's finally over
Mirror mirror, now we're done
I've pulled myself together now, my mind and heart are one
Finally one

I'm not your pet, not another thing you own
I was not born guilty of your crimes
Your riches and your influence can't hold me anymore
I won't be possessed
Burdened by your royal test
I will not surrender
This life is mine

When Weiss finished singing the Audience gave her a standing ovation.

She looked for Jason and saw him standing tall for her.

She looked at the Conductor and nodded. He began playing a second song, and the Audience sat down.

After the song played once she began singing.

No one ever made me feel as small as you did
No one made me feel as cursed
I'd lie awake in bed just staring at the ceiling
Wondering if things would get worse

I was trapped under your thumb
Believing when you called it love

But I will forgive myself
And start to let it go
Accept that who you chose to be
Was out of my control
And though it might be hard
To begin again
I'll write myself a brand-new story
With a happy end
I survived
So tonight
I am taking back my life
And I'll show you
That I am not nothing

I kept my head above the water
'Til the moment when all the elements aligned
And I could fly away to heal my broken spirit
And leave my demons far behind
You always said that I was weak
But the bravest thing I did was leave

So, I will forgive myself
And start to let it go
Accept that who you chose to be
Was out of my control
And though it might be hard
To begin again
I'll write myself a brand-new story
With a happy end
I survived
So tonight
I am taking back my life
And I'll show you
That I am not nothing

Looking up at the sky
I think I see the start of a sunrise

And I will forgive myself
And start to let it go
Accept that who you chose to be
Was out of my control
And though it might be hard
To begin again
I'll write myself a brand-new story
With a happy end
I survived
So tonight
I am taking back my life
And I'll show you
That I am not nothing
I'll show you
That I am not nothing

When she finished singing the crowd gave her another standing ovation, but this time Jason didn't look happy. She knew that he wasn't upset at her, but she still couldn't help but feel afraid. Not of Jason, but of what was about to happen.

Weiss was walking to the Ballroom when someone grabbed her wrist. She turned to see Jacques.

"I am very disappointed in you Weiss."

"The feeling is mutual."

"How dare you! No. We will discuss this after the Gala."

'No, we won't.' Weiss thought feeling happy at the thought of leaving Jacques soon.

Jason made his way to Weiss's room, and changed putting on his Battle Gear, and putting the suit in the bag.

He walked to the Ballroom, and hid the bag in a shadow before walking in.

As Weiss watched the crowd, she noticed the painting that was hanging on the far wall. She walked over to it and looked at Beacon before the Fall.

"Excuse me." Jacques said. "I have an announcement to make."

The group went quiet, and Jacques began talking.

"This Gala holds a second purpose. Not only are we gathering charity for Vale, but My daughter Weiss will be getting married soon."

The crowd applauded, but through the applause a sharp metallic *Click Clack. Click Clack* made its way across the floor.

A man with black and red metallic legs stood in front of Jacques. He wore black armor that had a red bat insignia in the center of his chest, and a red helmet that reflected your face off it when you looked at him. His hands had razor sharp claws that could rip the flesh from your body with no effort, and a hood covered his helmet.

"What is the meaning of this?" Jacques demanded.

"Jacques Schnee." The man said in a sharp metallic voice that seemed to freeze the air itself with how cold it was.

"What is the meaning of this?" Jacques asked.

"Jacques Schnee." The man stood two meters tall and seemed to give off a pressure that made one want to relieve themselves. "You have made a grave mistake."

"And what mistake would that be?"

"You have hurt Weiss more times than I can count. I cannot forgive you for that."

"I have made many enemies." Jacques said Nonchalantly. "Though none of them have cared about Weiss."

"You claim to be her father, though you haven't loved her. You love her family's money more than your own family."

"Now see here!" Jacques yelled. "I have given Weiss food, clothing, shelter, a bed, and everything that she could have ever wanted. What more would you have me give her?"

"Love."

The way that Jason said that one word made Weiss's face heat. She wanted to hear him say it again.

"Love?" Jacques said scathingly. "Why would she need love when she has everything else?"

Weiss watched as Jason held his hand out to her. She slowly walked up to him, and he hugged her tightly.

Jason took the hood off before dropping to one knee. "Weiss Schnee. Will you marry me?"

"Yes." Weiss said with the biggest smile she could remember smiling.

Jason took out a modest ring by Weiss's standards, and put it on her left ring finger. Careful not to cut her with the claws.

Jacques would have said that it was a cheap ring that wasn't worthy of Weiss. Little did he know that Weiss was the one who picked it out.

The crowd began applauding and cheering to the new couple.

Jacques was too shocked for words. 'This wasn't the way it should have gone. Wait. Why are they clapping? They shouldn't be clapping. No. They think that this is the man Weiss is marrying. No. I have to stop this.'

"STOP!" Jacques shouted stopping the applause. "How dare you!" He yelled at Jason. "How dare you come into my house and make a mockery of me! Weiss is going to marry Henry Marigold, and that is final!"

"Do you want to marry this Henry Marigold?"

"No. Jacques was going to force me to marry him. Probably to get me out of the way so he could leave the inheritance to Whitley."

"Shut up!" Jacques shouted.

"Is this true Jacques?" Jason asked in a scathing tone.

"SHUT up!" Jacques shouted again.

"Then he left Whitley to die at the hands of Faunus who only want a better work environment."

"SHUT UP!" Jacques Shouted a third time.

"So, I guess that it's a good thing I'm taking you away from his acidic grasp."

"I would think so, but you should also ask Whitley if he wants to leave. I think he's mellowed out since his experience."

"SHUT UP!" Jacques yelled grabbing a Sword from a guard and stalking towards Jason and Weiss. "NOW. YOU WILL LEAVE THIS HOUSE!" Jacques pointed at Jason. "YOU WILL THROW THAT DISGUSTING RING AWAY!" He pointed at Weiss. "AND YOU WILL MARRY WHO YOU'RE TOLD TO MARRY!"

"Sister!" Whitley yelled tossing Weiss 'Myrtenaster'.

Weiss caught 'Myrtenaster' with a spin and spun to face Jacques. "

"WEISS! I AM YOUR FATHER! YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME!"

"No." Weiss said harshly. "You stopped being my father when you admitted you married my mother for her money. You haven't been my father in eight years!"

Jacques swung his sword at Weiss who blocked and pushed back before using a Glyph to summon a Boarbatusk that charged Jacques.

Jacques barely managed to jump out of the way of the Boarbatusk and slid into a drink server who spilled their drinks on him. He got up dripping in Champagne, and furious. He charged Weiss who had turned her back on him.

Weiss had turned to look at Jason. "Do you want to finish him off?"

"With pleasure." Jason said before backhanding Jacques with enough force to send him flying out the large window in the Ballroom. "Uh. Jacques's Aura is active? Right?"

Weiss just shrugged.

"Murderer's!" A woman yelled pointing at them.

Jason and Weiss looked at each other.

"He attacked us, and we defended ourselves." Jason said.

"Guards! Arrest them!"

There was movement from Jason's leg, and the 'Dominator' on his left leg flew into his hand. He pointed at the woman. "I defended my fiancé. If you would like to be an unnecessary death, then keep talking. Otherwise kindly shut the hell up."

Weiss pulled Jason's arm down and walked him to the exit. On her way out she grabbed Whitley by the hand and took him with her. "Come on Klein." she said.

With that the four left the Schnee Manor and headed for their next destination.

On their way they saw Jacques passed out on top of a car with the roof caved in.

"He's still alive." Jason said somewhat disappointed. "It would appear that he had Aura after all."

The group walked to a car and drove across town to the other side of Atlas and stopped in front of a large mansion.

"What are we doing here sister?" Whitley asked.

"This is Jason's house."

"I didn't know that Jason had a house in Atlas."

"I didn't until a week ago." Jason said. "I bought this house, and had it furnished with the basic amenities. When people get here then I will cover the cost of getting their rooms furnished to their desires."

"So, I will get my own room?"

"Not yet. You have been raised in an environment of 'I want, I get.' In order to break you from that you will have to earn your furniture. You will have everything you need, but it won't be the way that you had it. If you want something, then you will have to work hard to get it."

"What? Why?"

"Because unlike everyone else you haven't had to work for anything in your life. That being said you have another option."

"Really?" Whitley asked excitedly.

"Yes. You can go to one of the Academies in two years after we have trained you." Weiss supplied.

"Oh." Whitley said downcast.

The group walked into the house and saw how bare it was.

"Why does this place seem so empty?" Whitley asked.

"Because Jason doesn't need much in the way of material items." Weiss supplied. "He has his weapons, his armor, his friends, and his family." She took a second to look at the ring on her finger and pinched herself to make sure this wasn't a dream. 'Nope.' She said when she felt the pain. 'Not a dream.'

"Why did you get such a lame ring?" Whitley asked Jason looking at the small golden band with a Ruby, Diamond, Black Pearl, and Topaz embedded in the ring.

"I'm the one who chose it." Weiss said.

"Why? If this guy can buy a house, why didn't you get the most expensive ring they had?"

"Because. I wanted this one. I love Jason so I don't need a big fancy ring. Our love should be enough, right?"

"I..." Whitley had to stop and think about that. "I... don't... know." He finally said.

"Ah." Cliff said coming down the stairs. "I see that you're back. Shall I show you to your rooms?"

"Yes please." Weiss said.

Cliff took Whitley and Klein to their rooms before coming back. "Is there anything else I can do for you?" Cliff asked.

"No thank you Cliff." Jason and Weiss said in unison.

"Very well. Would it be all right for me to turn in for the night?"

"You know that you don't need to ask." Jason said.

"It is my job Master Jason."

"Yeah, yeah." Jason said with a sigh. "I know. You're excused for the night."

"Thank you, sir." Cliff said before leaving for his room.

Jason and Weiss went to the armory where Jason took his Gear off, and put it up, before getting into a pair of lounge pants and an oversized hoodie that said. 'What doesn't kill me better start running'. He reached out for Weiss's hand and they went up to her room. He handed her a bag with her lounge pants and hoodie. Jason waited outside Weiss's room while she Showered and got changed.

She walked out in a pair of lounge pants and an oversized hoodie that said. 'The chains on my mood swing just snapped... RUN!' "I love it." She spoke. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Jason said taking her hand. "So, what do you think? What should we do tonight?"

Weiss pushed Jason into sitting on the couch and straddled him before wrapping her arms around his neck. "Thank you." She said kissing him. "Thank you for what you did tonight." She kissed him again. "Thank you for getting Klein and Whitley out from under that man's thumb." She kissed him again. "But most of all. Thank you for letting me see the look on Jacques face when you walked in, in full battle gear, making everyone lose control of themselves, and proposing like that. It was the best thing anyone could have ever given me."

"You're welcome." Jason said pushing up his visor with his nose.

Weiss took his Visor off.

"Um. Weiss? What are you doing?"

"Just for tonight..." Weiss kissed him on the neck. "...don't use your sight."

Meanwhile in Patch

"So, let me see it." Loki said. sitting on her and Coral's bed in Coral's house on Patch.

"Why?" Coral asked.

"Because. I want to see you in a Tiara."

"Is that all you want to see me in?" Coral asked suggestively.

Loki looked up at her Girlfriend. "No. You would at least need to wear a robe. I don't think you could pull it off."

"Well now you've gone and hurt my feelings."

"I didn't mean to. Please show me the Crown." Loki begged.

Coral just laughed. This was as close as Loki and her would get to that fetish crap. She tortured people for a living. She didn't need to see her girlfriend in that position. She already had enough nightmares.

"Fine." Coral said with a laugh. She took the crown out of the bag she had put it in when they were clearing Beacon, and she put it on.

"Okay guys." Jason said. "I know that Salem is supposed to be immortal and everything but look at us. We have done the impossible time, and time again. We may not be able to kill Salem, but that doesn't mean that we can't stop her."

"How?" Nora asked. "She can't die."

"Tear her apart, and separate the pieces as far as..."

There was a brilliant flash of light, and when the smoke cleared the crater was empty with 'Scarlet Sunrise' the only reminder that Jason had been there.

Coral jolted breathing heavily and started crying.

"Coral!" Loki yelled. "Coral answer me. What happened? What's wrong?"

"J-J-Jason's g-g-going to die." Coral said before sobbing into Loki's arms.

AN: So quite a bit has happened in this chapter. Jason and Weiss buy a house in Atlas, they go shopping, they start a relief center for the Faunus that have been hurt by Jacques, The Gala happens, Jacques gets defenestrated, and Jason and Weiss take Klein and Whitley away for Jacques. Enjoy.
