Chapter 7 - Shocked

Piper woke up screaming. Her eyes still closed. Jason woke up next to her, clearly worried about her. When Piper opened her eyes, they were bloodshot as if she has been crying for weeks. Jason tried his best to calm Piper down, but she kept mustering "It was all my fault."

"Piper, look at me. It's just a dream. Calm down..." She tried calming herself but couldn't look at his eyes. The same blue eyes she saw in her dream.

"I..I can't. She..she died. It was all my fault, if only..." She mumbled and stood up silently, wiping her face away. Jason stood up, he couldn't just sit there and watch Piper worry about a nightmare. He has to do something.

"Jason, she looked just..." before she could say anything, Piper collapsed.

Piper's P.O.V

Piper could hear the voices near her although they were a bit muffled. She could recognize one of the muffled voices as Jason's, but couldn't understand who the other person was. She tried hard to remember who it was, she was sure that she knew who this person was. But she was not able to identify them. She tried to open her eyes, to estimate her surroundings better, but couldn't do it. It's like they wouldn't budge. The voices started to come closer and she suddenly felt a warm presence near her. She felt the taste of the black bean soup, in her mouth (they were giving her ambrosia), and suddenly she lost her consciousness and fell into a deep slumber.

Jason's P.O.V

Jason brought Piper immediately to the infirmary as soon as she collapsed. He was worried with her strange behavior from the past few days, and her collapsing didn't make it any better. When she was brought to the infirmary, Will Solace took up on treating her. Jason followed Will to her room, and saw him taking her vitals.

"Before I can conclude what happened to her, you have to answer some questions."

"Wait, is something wrong with her? Is she alright? Will, you have to tell me if she is alright." Jason asked staring at Will with big eyes.

"Grace, I can't say anything if I don't know what she has been going through. Physically, she is totally alright. And I can't speak for her emotions. So you have to answer my questions if we both want to know what happened. Do you understand?"

"..Yes" he said reluctantly.

"Was she tired the past few days, maybe even feeling dizzy?"

"She was definitely tired the past few days. Lacy told me she was not even eating. I had to force her to eat yesterday. But, I didn't see any signs of dizziness."

"Hmm..was she going through any emotional distress?

"..Yes! Last night, when I was going to the mess hall, I went to pick her up after Lacy told me that she has not been eating for the past few days. When I knocked on the door, she opened it, but seemed like she was in a trance. She wouldn't speak to me either or look me in the eyes. I had to force her to eat and she kept talking about this dream. And, this morning, she woke up suddenly and started crying. Her whole face was red and eyes bloodshot like she has been crying for weeks. She also kept muttering that it was all her fault... Do you think her dreams might be causing this?"

"I am not sure, but it seems like it. Something from her dreams has been scaring her and that's probably why she fainted. Her heartbeat was faint when she came here, so it is likely that she had a shock. It was probably caused by those dreams. Ambrosia should help keep the dreams away. Let's keep her in observation tonight, and see if she would react the same. If she does, then we have to ask Clovis for help."

"Alright. Thanks, Will."

After their conversation, Jason went near Piper and holded her hand for a while, caressing her face. Suddenly, her face was scrunched up and her skin became cool and clammy. He tried to calm her down, by whispering in her ear that she was alright. That he was here. Piper's face calmed down a little, but Jason knew that he had to do something about these dreams. He will have to get Clovis and see what's torturing Piper all along.

Remember, how I said that I will post what Piper's dream was about in this chapter. Well, I lied. Hehe..Sorry about that! This chapter didn't seem like the best way to include what Piper was going through. So, it is likely that piper's dream will be revealed in the next chapter and I promise it will be in the next chapter. Oh! I do want to say this though. Piper has nothing against Reyna and they are both on friendly terms. I will leave it for you to think what I mean by this or why I even said that. Have a nice day and peace out :)
