AN: Possible trigger warning.

Coco, Fox, and Yatsuhashi were in their Dorm at Shade working on homework, and getting ready for bed when Velvet came in.

"Good evening all."

"Hey Velvet." Yatsuhashi and Coco said in unison.

"Hey." Fox nodded.

"We got mail."

"Really?" Coco asked. "From whom?"

"Not sure. The envelope says 'Team CFVY at Shade Academy.'

"Well don't leave us in suspense." Fox said.

Velvet opened the envelope. "It's four Lien cards."

"Who would send us Lien cards?"

"Scan them to see how much is on them." Fox suggested.

Team CFVY took a card and swiped them against their Scroll's.

"One million Lien has been transferred into your account." A female voice said from their Scroll's. "Would you like to transfer Lien to another account, access your account, or exit?"

The four members of Team CFVY stared blankly at each other.

"Jason." They said in unison after they came back to reality.

"Why would Jason give us so much money?" Velvet asked.

"Knowing Jason, it's probably an apology." Fox said.

"Wait." Velvet said. "There's a note."

Until we meet again. Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday, and I'm sorry.

"So, he gave us one million Lien until we see each other again?" Coco asked. "I'm okay with that. I wonder how I'm going to spend it?"

"We should save at least half. If it." Yatsuhashi said.

"That still leaves a crap ton of money to spend."

"I think that we should buy things that we need." Velvet added.

"I need clothes." Coco retorted.

"Maybe I can get the upgrades for my Scroll that I need." Fox said.

"We can figure this out tomorrow." Yatsuhashi said. "But for now, I'm going to sleep."

"It is getting late." Coco said.

"Good night." Velvet said before shutting off the light and running across the room before jumping into her bed.

The next day they went into town to do some shopping.

Velvet

Velvet went to a dust shop to stock up on Hard light Dust.

"Will this be everything?" The clerk asked.

"Yes, thank you."

"Okay." The clerk rang up the Dust and Velvet swiped the Lien Card hoping that it wasn't a cruel prank.

"Good to go." The clerk said sending her a copy of the receipt.

Velvet walked outside and decided to splurge by getting something sweet.

While she was eating, she thought about things she could get for her Teammates and friends.

She remembered Yatsu looking at a weapon care kit that boasted being able to put a razor edge on any blade or your money back.

She also remembered Coco looking at a new desert outfit that she might like, and she knew that Fox liked jokes.

With her mind made up she went to the separate stores to find her friends presents.

Yatsuhashi.

Yatsuhashi walked through town window shopping. He had a few things on his Wishlist but didn't know if he needed them.

Then he looked in the shop of a weapon smith. He saw the weapons care kit. 'Why not?' He thought.

He went in and bought the weapon care kit before leaving.

He thought about what he could do for his friends. 'Velvet can always use more Hard-light Dust. Fox likes listening to those corny sitcoms. And Coco would probably like a new desert outfit.'

With his mind made up he went about his errands.

Fox

Fox walked into the electronics store and walked up to the counter.

"Hey."

There was no answer.

"Hey!" He said a little louder.

Still there was no answer.

"Is anyone back there?"

"No. Can't you see that there's no one there?" A man asked.

Fox turned to look at the voice.

"Oh. I am so sorry. I didn't mean anything by that."

"It's fine." Fox said keeping his cool. "Do you know if anyone is here? I need to make some upgrades to my scroll." He activated his Semblance and heard the man's thoughts. "Don't get any ideas." He spoke.

The man stopped. "What?"

"Don't get any ideas. I will know if you are going to do something to cheat me."

"I was just going to go see if anyone was in the back."

"Okay."

The man went away before coming back.

"How can I help you?" The man asked.

"I need the newest upgrade for my GPS." Fox said putting his scroll on the counter.

"Of course, sir. That will take a couple of minutes. If you want, we have several Audiobooks on the far-left wall."

Fox gave the clerk his best 'I can't believe you just said that.' Look.

"Sorry." The clerk said.

Fox waited while the clerk worked on his upgrades.

"So." The other customer said. "What's it like being a blind Huntsman?"

Fox tried so hard not to reply with sarcasm... he failed. "It's the same as for a Huntsman that can see. Except I can't. What's it like being a Civilian who can't think before they speak?"

"I was just trying to make polite conversation."

"It's not very polite to ask someone what it's like to be blind."

"Oh. Sorry."

After a few minutes of silence, the clerk came back and handed Fox his Scroll.

Fox paid and left.

'I wonder if I should get the others something?' He thought. 'Velvet can always use more Hard-light Dust, and Coco is always complaining about not having enough clothes. Hm. I wonder what Yatsuhashi would want?'

He went about doing his various errands.

Coco

Coco walked into the clothing store and walked to the where the good clothes were. When she got there, she saw that three of the four outfits had already been taken. 'Damn it. I shouldn't have gone shopping for the others first. Now the cutest outfit is gone.'

She picked up the last of the four specialty outfits the store had and walked up front.

"Wow." The clerk said. "You're the fourth person to by a specialty outfit today."

"Really?"

"Yeah. A rabbit Faunus and two guys came and bought one."

"Tell me about them."

"Well, there was a cute rabbit Faunus who came in first. She went to the back and picked out the first specialty outfit and said that she was getting it for a friend who was feeling kind of depressed. The second was a tall guy, maybe seven feet. He picked out the second one and said it was for his Team leaders Birthday. And the third guy came in, he was kind of hot, but in a mysterious way, you know what I mean. He asked me to help him find the specialty outfits and help him pick one out for his Team leader who was kind of depressed. I think that they are all on the same Team."

"Did they look like this?" Coco asked holding a picture of Team CFVY.

"That's them. You're really lucky to have them as a Team."

"Yeah. I suppose I am. Even if they Can't coordinate an outfit to save their lives."

Coco paid for her outfit and headed back to the dorm at Shade.

Shade Academy

When Coco got back to the dorm, she heard Velvet say.

"She's here. Hide."

Coco held her Scroll to the lock and the door unlocked.

"Surprise!" Everyone yelled jumping from their hiding spots.

"Ahh." Coco said in mock shock.

"Oh." Velvet said put out. "Why weren't you scared?"

"The salesclerk at the clothing store told me."

"Oh. How did she figure it out?"

"You guys weren't all that subtle." Coco said. "I mean you all bought the other outfits."

"Oh. Well, here's to helping you feel better. We all bought presents and are having a birthday party."

They passed out the presents and began.

"Oh." Velvet said when she opened three boxes of hard light Dust. "Thank you." She spoke. "I won't have to buy Dust for a while now."

Team CFVY, with the exception of Fox, looked at each other.

"Did we all buy the same things for each other?"

"I guess we won't know until we open the gifts." Yatsu said.

"Open yours next Yatsu." Velvet said.

Yatsuhashi opened three weapons care kits from the weapons shop.

He pulled out the one he'd bought.

"Well." Coco said. "At least you won't run out of supplies for a while."

"Yeah. I've got about four years of supplies right here."

"So, you're good."

"You're turn Fox." Coco said handing him her gift to him.

Yatsu and Velvet handed theirs to him as well.

Fox read their minds. "An audio Joke book."

"I hope you like it." Velvet said. "I figured that you'd like it because you're really funny when people get to know you."

"Thanks." He said tapping the card to his scroll starting the download. He picked up the next audio file card. "84 hours of Onyx and Storm comedy sketches."

"I remembered hearing how you used to watch this with your uncle."

Fox didn't say that he actually hates watching it because he couldn't see what happened so he could only hear the sound effects and it drove him crazy. "Thanks." He said hiding his emotions.

"Glad you like it."

"Best for last." Coco said handing him an audio file card.

"Smash comedy sketches. 'Try not to laugh edition'." Yatsuhashi read out loud. Can something really be that funny?"

Fox scanned the audio file card. "Let's find out."

Laughter could be heard from Team CFVY's room up until curfew.

Sun Wukong looked at the detective.

The lizard Faunus detective looked at Sun.

Sun looked disheveled. "When are you going to let me out of here?" He asked.

"When we have the truth."

"I told you the truth! Blake and I ran to chase after Adam Taurus, and we got split up. When I found her, I saw that she was hurt, and I took my shirt off to wrap it around her in case she went into shock or something."

"Why not start back at the beginning?"

"Because I have told you the same story every time you ask, and you send me back to that cell!"

"Anger won't help you Mr. Wukong."

"Really? Because right now it would feel really nice to..."

"I wouldn't threaten a police officer. You're in enough hot water as it is. Now. Start from the beginning."

"Fine!" Sun huffed. "Blake and I got to Menagerie and walked through town to the Belladonna house, palace, whatever it is."

"Yes?"

"Blake knocked and Mrs. B answered the door. Mr. B came to the door next to her and we were brought inside."

"Blake." Kali said hugging her daughter.

"We missed you so much." Ghira said.

"I'm sorry." Blake said.

"Let's have tea." Kali said. "I was just making a pot."

They made their way into the sitting room.

"Who is this?" Ghira asked.

"Sun Wukong sir, and your daughter is pretty cool."

Ghira glared at Sun.

Sun backed away.

"You're from Vaccuo correct?"

"That I am sir."

"I see. I hope that you haven't done anything to hurt my daughter."

"Absolutely not sir. Your daughter has skills and other friends that would kick my ass back to Vaccuo if I did."

"Language." Kali said coming into the sitting room.

"I'm sorry." Sun said. "One of your daughters friends had a sister who could swear the paint off a wall, and her wife..." Sun looked at Blake. "...Coral was Loki's wife, right?"

Blake facepalmed.

"What's wrong Blake?" Kali asked.

"I never said anything was wrong."

"Blake." Kali said with finality in her voice. "I'm a mother. More importantly I'm Your mother. I should know if something is wrong with my daughter."

"Fine." Blake said. "I know that I don't deserve it, but I came to ask your forgiveness for what I said, and for leaving."

"Blake!" Kali and Ghira said in shock. "Why do you think that you don't deserve our forgiveness?"

"Because of what I said!" Blake yelled. "I called you guys cowards when I didn't even know what I was talking about! I got out into the real world, and saw Adam for the monster that he was, and then... and then..."

"And then what?" Ghira asked.

"I pissed off an Alpha."

Kali was about to reprimand Blake for her language when she realized what Blake had said. "Did you say an Alpha?"

"Yes."

"I didn't realize the Alpha's still existed." Ghira said. "I thought the last one died centuries ago."

"Well, they are back, and I pissed him off."

"No, you didn't Blake!" Sun yelled. "Jason is not going to hurt you! He knows that you aren't an enemy and would never hurt anyone."

"You don't know that!"

"Yes, I do! Jason would never hurt you because of something Adam did."

"Adam?" Ghira asked. "What did Adam do?"

Blake's hand brushed across her stomach subconsciously.

"Blake?" Ghira asked concerned. "What did Adam do?"

Blake turned to face her parents with tears in her eyes.

Kali got up and hugged Blake.

Sun backed out of the sitting room to let them have some time.

While he was waiting someone knocked at the door. He went to the door and answered it.

"Who are you?" One of the cloaked men asked.

"I..."

Sun was pushed out of the way by Ghira. "I'm sorry gentlemen, but now is not a good time."

"We will come back." The other said.

Ghira closed the door and went back to Blake.

Sun snuck out of the Belladonna house and followed the men.

He followed them to a house and snuck inside.

"Well?" A man asked.

"We were unable to find her High Leader Taurus."

Sun clenched his hands into fists. 'So, Adam is here.'

"I know that she is here. I saw her and that piece of trash Faunus."

"Could we perhaps turn them?"

"No. We won't be able to turn them because of their loyalty to the Alpha."

"Should not also be loyal to the Alpha? I mean he is the Alpha."

"The Alpha has lost his way. He will not see us for who we truly are. The saviors of all Faunus."

"I see."

Sun left and made his way back to the Belladonna house.

When he got back, he went through an open window. "Guy's I just found out that..."

Ghira was glaring at him.

"Um... hello."

"Please refrain from using windows to enter this house."

"Sorry. I didn't want to bother you."

"I thank you for your concern, but please. Use the door next time."

"Okay, but can I tell you what Adam said?"

"Adam is here in Menagerie?"

"Yes. I followed those two White Fang guys to a house, and they were talking to Adam Taurus. They called him High Leader Taurus."

"That is disconcerting."

"I know, but they said that the Alpha, Jason, is misguided and won't see them for the saviors that they are."

Ghira pinched the bridge of his nose. "That does not bode well."

"The guy's bad news. We need to stop him now."

"Let me see what I can do." Ghira said leaving.

Over the next week Blake became reacquainted with her parents and Sun was there to help if the need should arise.

The last night of their first week they were visited by a girl who looked more human than Faunus.

"Ilia?" Blake asked.

"Blake! You have to get out of here. Adam. He's coming for you."

An arrow flew through the window that Ilia had come through hitting her.

Blake and Sun looked outside and could see Adam.

"ADAM!" Blake roared before running after her.

"Don't worry Mr. and Mrs. B." Sun said. "I'll protect her." He ran after Blake.

He had followed her until they got separated.

"Blake!" Sun yelled. "Blake! Where are you!"

He ran around trying to find Blake until he heard her screaming. "BLAKE!" He yelled.

He followed her screams until he saw Adam looming over her. "GET AWAY FROM HER!" He yelled pulling out his gun-chuks and swinging at him.

Adam pulled a sword off his back and defended against Sun until he ran away.

Sun ran over to Blake and saw that she was hurt. He took his shirt off and wrapped it around her before taking her to the hospital.

On his way he was surrounded by Menagerie police.

"Guy's! I need your help!"

"Freeze! Put Miss Belladonna down!"

"What! Why?"

"You're under arrest for the attempted murder of Blake Belladonna!"

"WHAT! No. You have this all wrong. Adam Taurus did this!"

"That's funny. Because he said the same thing about you, but he is the High Leader of the White Fang, and so is interested in the protection of all Faunus!"

"Bullshit! I found him standing over her!"

"He said that he was checking her to see if she was hurt, and you came out of the shadows to finish the job."

"WHAT! That's not what happened!"

Two police officers took Blake before two more tackled Sun."

"And I've been here ever since. I'm honestly beginning to think that I should sue for police brutality or something."

The detective rubbed his forehead. "Let's go over this again."

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE! ADMA TAURUS IS OUT THERE RIGHT NOW AND HE IS GOING TO HURT PEOPLE! PEOPLE BLAKE CARES ABOUT!"

"Maybe we can talk more tomorrow."

"No!" A new voice said coming in.

"Mrs. B." Sun said relieved.

"Blake woke up. She is corroborating your story." Kali turned to the detective. "You will let him go."

"But Mrs. Belladonna."

"I said that my daughter just corroborated his story. She told us that Adam attacked her, and we have proof."

"I would like to hear this proof before I let the lead suspect go."

Kali pulled out Blake's scroll and played a recording.

"Hello Blake." Adam said bitterly.

"A-Adam." Blake stammered. "Why are you doing this?"

"Come on Blake. Where's all that rage you felt for me just a few minutes ago? Do I scare you that much?"

"You're not the man I thought you were."

"I only did what's best for us."

"No Adam! You did what you wanted to do. You murdered innocent humans for the sin of being human! That's not justice!"

"Neither is a young boy being branded a thief just because his father told him to bring him some fire Dust to warm the house."

"I know that you have your reasons for hating humans, but not all humans are bad. I have human friends."

"They have brainwashed you into thinking that. Humans are a disease that needs to be cut out, and I'm the one to do it."

"You're delusional."

There was the sound of a fist connecting with flesh.

"If I can't make you see reason then I will force you to watch as I take everything you love. Then you will have no choice but to love me."

"Adam. Stop. You're hurting me."

"This is nothing compared to the pain you caused me by leaving."

There was the sound of fists hitting flesh and Blake screaming.

After a while Blake stopped making a sound followed by Sun yelling. "GET AWAY FROM HER." And the sounds of metal on metal.

After a few moments that stopped and started whispering to Blake how he would get her to the hospital.

The recording stopped.

"Now." Kali said with a tone of finality. "Let. Sun. Go."

"This is more than enough evidence to convict High Leader Taurus." The detective said. "Mr. Wukong is free to go."

Sun ran out with Kali.

"First thing's first." Kali said. "You are going back to the house to get cleaned up."

"But Mrs. B. Blake..."

"Is with Ghira and Ilia. She will be safe enough until we get there."

"No. I mean There is one thing I didn't tell the cops because I thought they would think I was crazy."

"What's that?" Kali asked.

"When I stepped into that Alley way to get Blake. It felt like my Aura had been turned off or something."

"What? Why? How?"

"I'm not sure, but I think that there was someone else in that alley with us. Either that or that sword had the ability to negate Aura."

"That is not good."

"No. No, it's not."

Sun was taken back to the Belladonna house and showered, making sure to get behind his ears in case Mrs. B was one of those moms. He got dressed in a pair of clothes that Mrs. B had bought for him, brushed his teeth, and combed his hair.

"Did you wash behind your ears?" Kali asked.

"Yes." Sun said.

Kali reached behind his ears and checked. "Good. We can go."

They ran to the hospital and went to Blake's room.

"Blake!" Sun shouted.

"Hi Sun." Blake said sheepishly.

"I'm so sorry." Sun said putting his palms together and bowing his head. "We never should have split up. I'm sorry."

"No. I'm sorry. It was my hot-headedness that put us in that situation and because of it you got blamed for a crime you didn't commit."

"Oh, it wasn't all that bad. I mean the food was lousy, the water pressure in the showers was sub-par, and the company was terrible, but it made me realize something."

"What?"

"It made me realize that I have feelings for you. I think I love you."

Blake blushed. "Sun, I..."

"Please. Let me finish."

"I don't really have an understanding of what love is, but if I did then I think it would be feeling bad if the person you care for is hurt. It's feeling sad when the person you care for is gone. It's wanting to wake up and see their face because they give you the strength to get through the day. It's wanting to..."

"Sun." Blake said putting her hand on his.

Sun stopped talking.

Blake pulled him close before wiping away a tear he hadn't realized was sliding down his cheek. "I know."

"I was just so scared." He spoke. "I was scared that I had lost the most important person in my life."

Ghira and kali took each other's hand and smiled before leaving the room.

Ilia left the room and found an empty corner to cry in.

Sun stayed by Blakes side for the rest of her time in the hospital.

When they left the hospital, they went back to the Belladonna house.

They were having evening tea when a group of White Fang members attacked them.

Blake and Sun stood back-to-back while Ghira took on four White Fang by himself.

"You shouldn't have left us." A Faunus with large wolf ears said.

"You guys are the ones at Fault!" Sun yelled. "You guy's strayed from the path, and now you guys are paying for it."

"Stay out of this... heretic."

"You guys lost your way." Blake said. "I left because Adam was killing innocents. Adam is leading you towards extinction."

"NO! High leader Taurus is leading us to enlightenment."

Sun lost his cool and began flipping his gun-chuks and shooting at the Wolf Faunus. "Shut the hell up! Your so-called leader mutilated one of our friends! He took my friends home away! He caused Beacon to Fall! He killed who knows how many innocents! And he Beat Blake into a coma! So, screw you guys and your leader!" He yelled smacking the Faunus with his Gun-Chuks before putting them together to make his Gun-staff and smacking him into the ground.

Blake walked up to Sun and put her hand on his shuddering shoulder. "It's okay."

There was a shatter and they heard fire start. There was a crack and they looked up to see a beam fall.

Ghira caught the Beam. "GO! GO!" He yelled.

Sun put his hands together and clasped his fingers together. Four Sun clones appeared and helped lift the beam off of Ghira.

Ghira walked out from under the Beam, and Blake helped him outside.

Sun opened his hands causing his clones to disappear, and the beam to fall to the floor with a crash.

When he got outside, he saw Ghira and Blake. "Where's Mrs. B?" He asked urgently.

"I think she's still inside." Blake said.

"NO! KALI!" Ghira yelled running for the house.

There was a silhouette walking through the flames. It had someone over their shoulder. Whoever it was had a tea tray in their hand.

The silhouette jumped out of the fire just as the roof collapsed.

Blake, Ghira, and Sun ran towards the Silhouette.

"Ilia." Blake said with a sigh of relief.

"Um... hi Blake. I came over with the attack group, but I helped your mom fight off the members who attacked her. I don't like the direction Adam has taken the White Fang. He had Sienna khan killed."

"We need to get Mrs. B to the hospital." Sun said.

Ghira picked up Kali and ran to the hospital.

Blake, Sun, and Ilia followed.

When they got to the hospital, they had to wait in the waiting room.

After a while Sun looked at Ilia. "How are you not burnt?"

"It's my Semblance." Ilia said rubbing her shoulder. "I'm a chameleon Faunus, and my Semblance is Adaptability. It means that I can adapt to my environment. I might get some cosmetic damage, but I won't actually get hurt."

"That's cool."

Ghira came out shortly after.

"Dad!" Blake yelled running to him.

Father and daughter hugged briefly.

"So how is Mrs. B?" Sun asked.

"She's fine. The doctor says that there is some smoke inhalation and some mild burns, but that she will be fine. Thank you, Ilia."

Ilia stood ramrod straight. "Uh... um... You're welcome."

"Yeah. Thank you, Ilia." Blake said.

Ilia blushed at Blake's compliment. "I-it was nothing."

"Nothing." Sun said. "You walked through fire to get Mrs. B out of the house. That's not nothing."

"He's Right." Blake agreed. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Ilia was beet red now.

Blake's emotions caught up with her and she started crying.

"Blake!" Sun, Ilia, and Ghira yelled.

Blake cried for a While, but when her composure came back, she had a determined look in her eyes. "Adam has gone too far. I'm going to take the White Fang away from him and return it to its former path."

"How?" Sun and Ilia asked.

"He has a cult following." Sun said. "How are you going to fight that?"

"By rebuilding the true White Fang."

Ghira looked at Blake with Pride in his eyes. His daughter was back.

AN: Checking in on CFVY and Blake and Sun. I thought it would be amusing to see what would happen if Team CFVY went shopping for each other, and this is what happened. Also making Adam a bigger nuisance for Blake. He will be back in Volume five, but what was that strange feeling that made Sun feel like his Aura had been shut off? Hm. I wonder what that was?
