Ch.10: Fishy

Annabeth's P.O.V.

To say that Annabeth was worried about Piper was an understatement. She could understand the sudden outbreak her dearest friend had. So naturally, she got the latest news on what was happening in camp. When she talked to Piper in IM the other day, she could sense the fear she felt. To take Piper's mind off of things, she planned on a Bachelorette party (she planned it the day Piper told her about it which is self-explainable because this is Annabeth we are talking about) as the wedding is coming to a near. So now, she has to manage getting Piper from camp without letting her know that it is a party.

Leo's P.O.V

Leo was informed about Annabeth's plans by none other than Annabeth herself and he couldn't find a better day to throw a bachelor party to Jason. He really sucks at this kind of stuff honestly and he was thankful for Annabeth's interference. It will be the day Piper will be having hers. Leo had no clue how he was going to do this though. He was no planner like Annabeth, but he figured just going with the flow is more of his style and he hoped it was Jason's too. But he had to pick a starting point first and hopefully it will not be the same as the location Annabeth has picked (what!? she didn't give out the full details.)

Annabeth's P.O.V.

With Zara in Tyson's care, Annabeth leaves to the camp. She has a free flowing maroon chiffon dress on, with her hair thrown into a ponytail. She has already sent the word to the rest of the gang to join them at the bar. As for Piper, she thinks it's just a girls night out (well technically maybe the point of a bachelorette party is kinda like a girls night out but you know what I mean - she doesn't know it's a party for her).

Piper's P.O.V.

Piper didn't know what to wear. Supposedly, it's a girls night out but Piper doesn't have anything that screams "Let's Party!" but also is very subtle at the same time. The last time she went out to a party was for annabeth's wedding and even then she had to borrow from Lacey. While Piper was thankful enough, that dress her sister gave was tooo blingy and attentive for her style... Unsure of what to do, she decides to wear her usual wear thinking it would be sufficient since it's just a night out with her gal. As she heads to pick a tank top, she hears a knock from the cabin front. Since none of her siblings are currently there, Piper goes to check only to be greeted by the grey eyed girl looking beautiful as usual. Piper was dumbfounded, suddenly feeling aware that she is in her PJ's and she can feel that lecture coming if Annabeth knows what Piper had in mind.

P.O.V. switches but it is pretty identifiable...I hope

"Piper? Why are you looking at me like i'm about to kill you..." asked Annabeth narrowing her eyes to Piper's hand holding a brown tanktop. Suddenly, it hits Annabeth that Piper was not planning on wearing anything party-ish. But, she couldn't lecture her though. As far as Piper knows it's just a normal night out and it doesn't require any fancy clothing and if Annabeth lectured her about this Piper will start doubting Annabeth's intentions.

"..Oh" Annabeth lets out to which Piper follows her gaze on to her left hand holding the tanktop she picked.

Piper laughs weakly and looks back at Annabeth, her smile goofy and weak as to say "Yeah this is why I thought you would kill me."

She goes on to explain "I dont have anything to wear."

Initiating Plan C, Annabeth lets out a chuckle mouthing an O.

"I know something like this would happen, so i bought an extra dress. I'm sure it should fit you…"

Piper was confused. Something was off about this. She knew that Annabeth would plan ahead for stuff but just for a regular night out…it seemed weird. Besides that expected lecture went amiss and that is definitely strange. Sensing Piper's doubts Annabeth quickly added "Last time we went out, you spilled your own drink on your dress. We don't want any fashion mishaps happening right, I mean i'm pretty sure your mom would agree with me."

At this point, Piper was narrowing her eyes at Annabeth.

"Gotta fix the story making skills" Annabeth mentally noted while quickly leaving and bringing the last minute dress she threw in her car just in case.

"Make it quick, Piper. I want you dressed in about 15 minutes and we gotta go." Annabeth commands handing the dress to Piper.

Piper accepts the elder girl's command confusingly but suspiciously and heads to the bathroom.

While Piper is in the bathroom, Annabeth recieves a text from Calypso

It's been a long time I have updated at all! I think I have a plan on what I want to do with this story if I were to continue it but chapter updates will take a long time because it's exam season and i gotta studyyyyyy humph jkdfhasdf. Oh by the way prepare to cringe for the oncoming chapters relating to this party scenes cause I have no idea how to write this stuff, so I'm gonna try to incorporate more story plot stuff in those scenes to reduce the cringe by at least 1% Also a lot of changes are gonna happen from here….that is if I upload and do not forget about this.
