Wednesday: July 20, 2011 10:13 A.M. (Randy's POV)

I smiled as I once again looked through my wedding pictures that had finally gotten here last week while I sat on my couch in the living room. Between all of the stress and drama lately, even the arguments I've had with Rissa, these pictures were the best thing that I have to calm me down right now, especially since Rissa is out shopping with Ryse, Eve, and Chelle right now. I can't spend time with her right now.

"If I had a nickel for every time I've caught you looking at those pictures this past week," John says. "I'd be rich."

I look up at John and laugh. "Well, they're my wedding pictures. They've only been here for a week. I'm not over looking at them yet." I smile as I find a picture of Marissa by herself in her wedding dress, smiling from ear to ear. "She looks so happy here. I'm a lucky man."

John nods. "I get it. I was that way with my pictures with Chelle for a while too."

"Speaking of Chelle, if I had a nickel for every time you mentioned getting her pregnant, I'd be rich."

"Well, it's gonna happen soon because we're trying now so get used to it, Randy."

"Wait," Ted says. "Aren't you both already rich? You're main eventers. You make big cash. Plus, you both win a lot of time, so you get the winning bonuses too."

"Also," Cody adds. "Chelle would add significant money to John's because she won a lot while wrestling. And Rissa is working as a wrestler and a partial owner and the President of the Divas Division. She's also a champion and wins a lot. She probably damn near doubles their money."

I laugh. "Actually. Since she's taken the President of the Divas Division position, she makes more than me now. Not like that really matters anyway."

"Really? The President of the Divas Division position is pulling in big money? I know the Divas contracts are pretty small so…"

I laugh. "Yes, her new position pulls in a lot of money. But she was well paid before that or even being a partial owner."

"Really? How?"

"She doesn't like talking about it, so don't tell her I told you. She signed pretty well a while ago."

"How well?" Ted asks.

"A huge contract. Especially for a Diva."

"How long ago? And how much?"

"She signed it in, I think, September of 2007. She got a huge deal for 1.5 million dollars for five years. Huge deal for a Diva, and they didn't know she was a McMahon yet. She kept it on the down low though, only John, Chelle, Chris, Candice, and I knew about it. But she doesn't like talking about it. She thinks it's bragging. Don't say a word to her about it."

"That's so cool. You think she'll get a bigger deal next year when she re-signs as a competitor, assuming that she is?"

"I hope so. She busts her ass working, and she's gotten way better since then. Plus, that gives us some more spending money. Not like we need it, but still. Imagine if the girls got equal pay."

Cody laughs. "Rissa would be getting that big main eventer money pretty much. Because, no offense to any of the other girls, Rissa, even before she found out she was a McMahon, has been at the top of the Divas Division pretty much since Trish and Lita both retired."

I nod. "I'm probably biased, but I agree. Also, have I mentioned that she made Maxim's Hot 100 this year? My wife made that list."

John laughs. "You always mention that. Did you know that Stacy also made that list?"

I laugh. "One of my exes and my wife. Maxim must have my taste in women. I think Rissa mentioned it once when she found out she made it herself, but I don't really think about it. I only care about Rissa. Stacy and I are still friends as we split on good terms, but Rissa is way closer with her than I am. Even though Stacy lives that big Hollywood life now, she texts Rissa all the time. They stay in touch. Occasionally, I just hear Rissa tell me that Stacy says to tell me hi. Plus, they are trying to find a time that works for both of their busy schedules, so they can hang out together for a couple days sometime. At least, Stacy made it to the wedding."

"That's true. You're never gonna shut about that list. Are you?"

"Not at least until they make another one. But she's getting a Maxim cover, so I can just talk about that."

Ted looks at me. "So really, we're never going to hear the end of this?"

"Probably not, I'm in love with that woman, boys. In love. I thought I had been in love before her, but that's definitely not the case. I lay in bed with her while we're trying to sleep, and I will just watch her when she falls asleep because she usually falls asleep first. I'll just watch her and smile because I don't want anyone else. I have this amazing woman that gets to come home with me every night, and it's the best feeling in the world. On top of that, she'll have all my future children. It's just amazing."

John nods. "I don't really watch her sleep, but I feel the same way about Chelle."

Ted smiles. "I also feel the same about Ryse."

Cody grins. "Even though we're not engaged or married like the rest of you, I feel the same about Eve. Also, how lucky are we that all of our significant others are close friends?"

"Very lucky." I say.

"Cody," Ted says. "I don't want to put a damper on all of this lovey dovey stuff, but I think the best time to bring that thing from last night up would be now."

"What thing?"

"Is it what you two were telling me about earlier?" John asks.

"John, yes." Cody says. "And I agree, Ted."

"Well, since it's that, even though I wasn't there when it happened, I also agree."

"What the hell are you guys talking about?" I ask.

"Ted." Cody says. "Start talking."

I look at Ted. "Ted?"

Ted sighs. "Well, last night during the SmackDown filming after you left the locker-room to have your Street Fight against Kane, we were all hanging out in the locker-room, except Chelle and John. They were back here already, so someone could watch Vance. Anyway, we were in your locker-room, and Rissa made a comment about wanting some peace, so she could finally enjoy your marriage."

I frown. "Finally enjoy? That's what Rissa said?"

Cody nods. "Yeah. So I asked her about it. She started talking. Rissa feels unhappy because, to her at least, you guys mostly stress and argue while you're together, and, no offense, I don't know if it's just me or if everyone else sees it too but it seems like that's been happening a lot with you two. Just look at last week. Anyway, she thinks you two should be in this happy newlywed phase right now, but you never were even in that phase right after the wedding. Marissa feels that since Cami felt the need to tell you that she had a kid that's yours, which we now know isn't even true, at the reception of all times. Which, in my own opinion, is the shittiest move on Cami's part."

"I second that." Ted adds.

"Anyway, Marissa feels that because of that, you two went straight from the wedding to stressing. As she put it, you consummated then barely talked for awhile because of Cami telling you about Vance. We all know there was that issue because she felt like you were basically putting her to the side because of all of that, but I think that got to Marissa a lot more than we all thought it did. Cami pretty much interrupted your happiness in your marriage to Marissa, Randy. Then, you had issues with Cami and Tyler, a court date with the guy who crashed into Marissa in January, money was stolen, you find out Cami stole the money, figuring out what to do with Vance, and then the Kharma issues. Those letters from her mother can be included in that too since she finally told us about those. On top of that, you argued a few times during all of that. Everything going on since the wedding has gotten to Marissa, Randy, and she's bottling it up."

I put my head in my hands. "I was going to take her to Bora Bora before we found out about the stolen money. Because of the stolen money, we put the plans on hold. I was going to make it pretty much our honeymoon. With everything going on, those plans just got lost in the mix. Last night, she mentioned the idea of having a break from the stress. I agreed, even though I didn't think much of it at the time. Maybe this wouldn't be needed if we had just gone."

John nods. "I think you might be right, Randy."

I felt horrible even thinking about how Rissa…my amazing Rissa…was unhappy with how things were going in our marriage. Even worse, she's bottling it up on top of all the other stress.

"This is horrible." I mutter. "Just horrible."

"You need to talk to her." Ted says. "She didn't ask us to tell you or anything, but Ryse, Eve, and we all thought that someone needed to tell you. Rissa might be pissed that we told you, but we did it because we worry about her. We all worry about her. Especially after last night, we're all worried about Rissa's mental health. Bottling up everything never has a positive effect."

I nod. "Yeah. Once I talk to her and she puts it together that you two told me, I'll talk her out of being pissed off if she is. I understand your concerns about Rissa, and I think there is a need for concern. This is pretty much entirely my fault. I'll talk to her after dinner with Roselle and her fiancé tonight. Don't mention anything about it until I talk to her. Okay?"

The boys all look at me and nod. "Okay."

I look over at my laptop sitting on the bookshelf. "I think there's something that I need to do."

I walk around to Marissa's side of the Hummer to open her door.

Marissa steps out of the vehicle. "I know we're still outside, but this place looks super fancy."

I close Marissa's door. "I agree, but Roselle's fiancé is a doctor. He's gotta be fancy."

She gives a small laugh. "You're probably right, but we're rich professional wrestlers to them probably. Is that any better?"

"Probably not. You look beautiful."

"That's like the fifth time you've said that tonight, Randy."

"It is. And I'm gonna keep saying it, Rissa."

She gives me a small smile. "Okay, Randy."

I put an arm around Rissa as we wait on Roselle and her fiancé. I then smile to myself. After learning what Cody and Ted told me today, even getting Rissa to give me a small genuine smile meant a lot.

Marissa and I stand together in silence before a couple around our age walk up to us.

"Marissa? Randy?" The woman says with a small smile. "I'm Roselle Diaz. Nice to finally meet you in person." Roselle shakes both of our hands.

"The pleasure is ours." Rissa replies.

Roselle smiles before looking at her fiancé. "Marissa, Randy, this is my fiancé, Dr. Chris Jones."

"Nice to meet you." Chris says before shaking both of our hands. "May we head inside?"

"Lead the way." I reply, placing a secure arm back around my wife.

As we start eating our meals, I look over at Chris. "So, Chris, what kind of doctor are you?"

Chris looks at me with a smile. "I'm just a family physician. Nothing too cool. Keeping kids healthy."

"As a parent, let me tell you, we appreciate kids being healthy."

Chris nods. "Yeah. I get it now. We have a baby now, so I get it now."

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Marissa and Roselle exchange a look.

"Sorry to interrupt." Roselle says. "But we have an issue to figure out here. What are we gonna do with Vance?"

"Well…" I say. "I got Vance paternity tested. He isn't my son. I'll be completely honest here. I don't want to keep Vance away from his family, especially when Rissa and I are gone from home as much as we are."

"Yeah." Rissa nods. "We're gone a lot."

Chris nods. "You're professional wrestlers. It's a part of your job. I'm sure people are grateful that you're around to entertain them."

I nod. "I hope so."

Roselle looks at me. "So you want us to keep Vance then?"

"I think that's what's best for him. He needs to be with his family."

Roselle smiles. "Yeah. Thankfully, Vance likes both me and Chris pretty well."

"That's good."

"Yeah. By the way, I'm sorry about Camille. She's hard to deal with. She's my younger sister, so I see it. She has some problems."

Chris looks over at Roselle. "Has some problems? Babe, Camille was very clearly trying to interfere in their marriage and stole twenty-seven thousand dollars. Plus, she's done countless other things. It's more than some problems at this point."

Roselle nods. "I guess you're right. It's just hard because she's my sister. Anyway, we can come help get Vance moved as early as this weekend."

I nod. "That would be great. Thank you."

"No. Thank you for making sure Vance is in good hands."

"I know the conversation wasn't fun to have tonight." Rissa says as I pull into the driveway. "But the food was phenomenal."

"It sure was." I agree as I park the Hummer. "We'll have to go have a date there."

"Yeah. That would be nice."

We exit the car. I place a secure arm around her as we enter the house. I smile in relief as everyone else is upstairs. No one is in the living room. Rissa goes to head upstairs, but I stop her.

I smile at her. "Let's sit down here."

She looks at me confused before sitting down with me. "Um…okay, Randy."

I feel my heart beating through my chest as I look over at Marissa. I hoped I could bring this up to her without causing another argument. I'm just worried about her, especially her mental health after what I've learned.

"Rissa?" I say quietly.

"Yeah?" She asks just as quietly.

"Are you…are you unhappy with our marriage?"

"Um…unhappy? I…uh…"

"I talked to Ted and Cody this morning. Don't be mad at them, but they told me about what you said last night. They're worried about you and your mental health. I'm worried about you and your mental health, Rissa."

Rissa sighs. "I'm not mad at them. Honestly, I should've figured they were going to. I mean if I heard one of them being like this, I'd be worried too. Plus, the girls kept bringing up me talking to you about it while we were shopping this morning. They were totally in on it and knew Ted and Cody were telling you."

"But are you unhappy, Rissa?"

Tears start forming in her eyes. "I mean I'm not unhappy with you. It's just…we don't ever do much outside of stress and argue. That's not how things should be. We never got to experience a happy newlywed phase because Cami decided to…well you know. So I'm unhappy with how things are between us right now. We're both stressed and not very happy. We didn't even get a honeymoon."

I wipe the tears from Rissa's face. "I know exactly what you mean, but you keep bottling up your feelings and not telling me. That's not good, Marissa. I'm worried about you."

She gives a small smile. "I'm sorry, baby. I just…I'm not good at these things."

"That's okay, Rissa. We're going to fix this. I want us to be happy. We need to be happy. Plus, we can't be going and trying to have a baby at some point if we're unhappy. What do you want to do to fix this? We can go to therapy, spend some extra quality time together, have dates like once a week, somehow have more sex, I'll take you to the spa every week. Let me know what will make you happy. I'll do anything to see that perfect smile of yours."

Rissa looks at me. "Okay. I'm not entirely sure what I want to do yet, Randy, but let me think about it. I'll let you know."

I kiss her forehead. "Okay. That's fine with me."

She smiles once more. "I swear I'll come back downstairs, but I need out of these heels. Let me take them off and put them away upstairs and probably my purse too. I'll come back down here to finish our conversation."

"Okay. That's fine. Just make sure you don't forget about me down here."

She laughs. "I won't, Randy."

Rissa takes her heels off, picks them up along with her purse, and walks upstairs to put them away.

I smile as I watch her walk upstairs. Once she's in our room, she'll see my plan and will be happier than she's been lately about it.

Marissa's POV

I walk into mine and Randy's bedroom to put away the heels and my purse in the closet. As I exit the closet, I look at myself in the mirror of our vanity.

I frown. "I look like a stressed out mess."

I then see, in the reflection of the mirror, that something's on my pillow. I look over at my pillow.

I walk over to see what Randy left on the pillow. "Looks like plane tickets. Must be for Raw and SmackDown next week. That's nice of Randy to get those plane tickets."

I grab my reading glasses, so I can read to make sure the tickets are correct. Raw is in Hampton, Virginia next week, so I need to make sure everything is correct.

As I sit down on the bed, I start reading the plane tickets. I look at them confused as they seem to be for multiple connecting flights. That shouldn't be for Virginia. I look on the plane tickets for the final destination. I find it…Bora Bora.

"Oh my god." I say quietly. "I love that man so much."

I put the plane tickets back down and slowly started walking back downstairs.

Randy meets me at the bottom of the stairs. "I almost thought you were actually gonna leave me down here."

I roll my eyes at him. "Never."

Randy smiles. "You look beautiful."

"Thanks…again. I saw the plane tickets."

"You were supposed to. I wanted you to, Rissa. Surprise."

I smile. "Thank you, Randy, but how are we making this work?"

"Right after SmackDown next Tuesday, we are flying out to Bora Bora. We stay there until Sunday night, and then we'll fly to Indianapolis and still make Raw on that Monday. Also, I have booked a lot of fun things for Bora Bora next week. Does this work for you?"

"Absolutely. Thank you so much. This may be what we need to help with our marriage."

Randy smiles. "I hope so. Stay right there. I have one more surprise for you."

"One more?"

"Yeah. Just one more." Randy walks over to his phone and plugs it into the speakers.

"What are you doing?"

"Just give me a sec, Rissa."

I nod. "Okay. Whatever you say."

Randy looks at me with a small smirk as the same song that we used for our dance at our wedding plays. "Surprise."

I smile at him. "Okay. This is romantic. Until the song is over."

Randy laughs. "Jokes on you, I have it set to keep playing." He walks over and extends his hand to me. "May I have a dance? I can't stop looking at you, so it'd be my pleasure to have you dance with me."

I laugh as I take his hand. "Well I can't say no to that. Also, I know you watch me sleep, so the can't stop looking at you part makes total sense."

"I didn't know you knew about that."

"I know a lot of things."

Randy nods before pulling my body close to him. "Fair enough. Let's have this dance."

I smile as Randy puts his arms around my waist and I put my arms around his neck. "Thank you."

Randy looks down at me as we start dancing. "Absolutely, Rissa. I'm gonna find a way to make things better for both of us. You think the others are asleep?"

"Probably. Why?"

"We should go for a night swim in the pool after we're done dancing. We haven't really used that pool much this summer, and the others can't bug us. Plus, I'm trying to get my money's worth out of it."

I nod. "Okay. Just let me take my makeup off before we get in."

Randy laughs. "Okay."

After that, we continue to dance in silence, except for the music.
