I smile quietly as Randy walked into the kitchen with a box of donuts. "You're the best."
Randy smiles as he puts the box on the counter. "I know. Randy Orton is the best at everything."
"A little full of yourself. Huh, Randy?"
He pulls me into his arms and looks at me. "Absolutely. I wouldn't be Randy Orton if I wasn't."
I chuckle at him. "Fair enough."
Randy starts kissing me. "I hear I'm also a great kisser. Tell me, Rissa. Is that true?"
I kiss him back as he moves me towards the wall. "I wouldn't call it a lie."
Randy gives me a small squeeze as we still move closer to the wall. "I am then. Figured. You're not so bad at kissing yourself."
"I know."
"Of course you do. Anyway, you're hot."
I laugh as I end up against the wall. "That's nice to know. I think we're finally there in our relationship."
"Finally where?"
"The happy newlywed phase."
"Oh. Me too." Randy says as we stop kissing.
"I feel like even just two weeks ago we were in a rough spot, but now look at us."
"I like looking at those two hickeys I left on you. They're fading though, but still. I did that."
I smile as I move around him to grab a paper plate to eat on. "Really though, Randy. I'm so happy."
He jokingly shoves past me to grab his own plate. "Me too. We're in the same mood now. Happy as can be."
I roll my eyes as I move around him to open the box of donuts. "Damn. How many did you buy?"
"Two dozen. There's eight people here, Rissa."
"Fair enough. I can eat three then?"
"Yeah. If you want more, I can go out again and buy more."
"I think three will be good. I have to somewhat maintain a good diet."
Randy laughs as we both grab three donuts each. "Fair enough. Are the others awake at all yet?"
"Well…" I say as we both sit down at the dining table. "If they are, they aren't down here yet. Don't tell them. Let them figure out on their own and fight over the donuts."
Randy laughs. "Yeah. Let's do that. I have to get back up and get a glass of milk."
"I can-"
"I'm doing it. Don't get up, babe. You want one?"
"Sure. We need to go grocery shopping later."
"We'll do that." Randy opens the door of the fridge and grabs the milk. "Nevermind, I checked the fridge, and someone did it for us. I'll check the pantry after we're done eating."
"Wait, everything in the fridge was the right products and right brands?"
"Yeah." Randy pours both of us a glass of milk. "Why?"
"Chelle. Definitely Chelle."
"Remind me to try to pay her back later." Randy says as he brings the glasses of milk and sits back down.
"Good luck. She almost never takes any attempts to try to pay her back."
"I'm more stubborn than her. She will."
"Whatever."
"You like your donuts?"
"Of course I do."
"Good." He kisses my cheek. "I love you."
"I love you too. Is it just me or are you being extra affectionate this morning?"
"Maybe some." He smiles as he continues to eat his donuts. "But I just love you."
"I know." I finished eating my donuts. "And that's mutual."
Randy finishes his as well. "I know. Let me throw your paper plate away."
"I can-"
He grabs both of our paper plates and throws them away. "I got it."
I sigh as I look at Randy. "Can I do anything this morning?"
"No. I'm treating you like royalty. Just sit there."
I roll my eyes. "Whatever."
The house phone starts to ring.
"Don't you dare." Randy says before quickly going to answer the phone.
"Can't even answer the phone. Geez." I mutter.
I try to eavesdrop on Randy, but I can't quite hear him. I'm a little annoyed that he isn't letting me do anything.
Randy walks back in. "Go get dressed. We gotta go to the police station."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Ugh. I don't wanna go."
"Me either, but we gotta."
"Yeah…let me go get dressed."
Randy and I both sigh as we walk out of the police station.
"This is so annoying." Randy says as we make it back to the Hummer.
"I know, babe." I say quietly.
Randy opens my door. "Here. Yeah. It's annoying because we have to go to court a few times again. Like we already did for you getting struck by a hit and run earlier this year. I didn't really want to go through this again."
I get in the car. "Me either, but it's inevitable."
Randy closes my door and enters the driver's side of the car. "I know. I just wish we didn't have to."
"I'm so over it."
"Me too. I kinda wanna go impulse buy something."
"Like what?"
Randy pulls out of the parking lot. "A Bentley."
"Do it."
"Why?"
"Why not? That honeymoon you planned out was more focused on me. Treat yourself. Let's go buy one."
"We could buy two. Get you one too."
"I don't think I need one."
"My cars are way more expensive than your little Camry."
"My little Camry is only two years old."
"Still, I have a motorcycle, a Hummer and two other cars, and we're about to go buy a Bentley."
"And that's fine with me. We can fit all of those."
"Why won't you get one?"
"I'm happy with what I got. I know you're trying to spoil me, Randy, but I don't need it."
"It would be cute for us to have matching Bentleys."
I roll my eyes. "Just buy your own. When I decide I want a new car, we can get matching expensive cars then."
"Fine."
I sigh as Randy continues to drive. We stop talking, but he grabs my hand and puts it in his lap.
We pull into the right car dealership. Randy carefully pulls into the first open spot in the parking lot and parks the Hummer.
I check my phone as Randy unbuckles his seatbelt. I have few notifications for texts.
Randy nudges me before I can read any of the texts. "I'm gonna smoke before we go to look at cars."
I nod. "Okay."
Randy exits the car and lights a cigarette. I read the first text. It's a text from our local pharmacy reminding me that I haven't picked up my monthly prescription for birth control pills. I roll my eyes and remind myself that I need to call to cancel those prescriptions for awhile because I'm gonna try to have a baby with Randy.
I read the second text.
Chelle: Saw Randy's note that he left about the donuts. Good luck at the police station. Let me know how it goes.
Me: Thanks. Randy and I will have to start figuring out how to handle the court situation with Cami soon. We did get the money back though. We're still doing stuff for a while, but he's getting on my nerves just a little. Did you go grocery shopping?
After I sent Chelle that text, I read the third text that I had received.
Elaine: Hi Marissa. Just wanted to make sure you and Randy got back home safely. I don't trust him to check his texts, so I'm checking with you. Just let us know you made it home safely.
I smile. Randy's mom is the sweetest. Always has been. I replied to her text.
Me: We made it home safely. Neither of us are harmed. Nothing to worry about. Miss you.
Randy opens up my car door. "I'm ready. You good to go?"
I nod as I exit the car. "Yeah."
Randy closes the car door behind me and puts an arm around me. "Okay, Rissa. Let's go look at Bentleys."
I lean on him a little bit as we start to head out to look at cars and notice a few people staring. "Wrestling fan alert."
Randy glances at the staring people. "It's our first date all over again. Hopefully, they'll leave us be."
"Hopefully."
Randy's POV
I smile as I look at the Bentley that is going to be mine in a matter of minutes. "It's a beauty. Like my wife."
Rissa sighs. "Babe…"
I smile at her. "It's true."
"You say it so much."
"You love it. How about you sit in the Hummer while I go and fill out the paperwork for buying this?"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. I'll only be like ten to fifteen minutes, Rissa."
"I guess I can go sit in the Hummer."
I hand her the keys. "Here. See you in a few, beautiful."
Rissa smiles. "See ya in a few."
I smile as I watch Rissa walk to the Hummer.
The car dealer and I walk inside to deal with paperwork as I think to myself.
Rissa had seemed a little annoyed after I mentioned getting her a Bentley as well. I didn't quite understand why. However, I caught her looking at a white Mercedes-Benz from a distance quite a bit while I was looking at Bentleys.
I look at the car dealer. "Is there any way I could buy that white Mercedes-Benz that's sitting out there too and pick that up another day?"
The car dealer looks at me as he is getting paperwork. "I'm sure we can make it work. I saw your wife watching that car."
I nod. "Me too. She's not one for getting new cars a lot, but I'm going to surprise her with it."
The car dealer smiles. "As long as you can afford it."
"Not to brag, but we're millionaires. We'll be just fine."
The car dealer hands me paperwork to fill out for both vehicles. I smile to myself as I fill it out. I then quickly fill out a check to pay for both vehicles and hand all of that over. I walk out of the building with the keys to my new Bentley and walk over to the Hummer.
I open the car door and smile at Rissa. "I'm good. You can drive this home. I can drive the Bentley."
Rissa nods. "Okay. I'm gonna relish all of this. You rarely let me drive it."
"Well, consider it your lucky day. I'll see you in a little bit at home."
Rissa smiles as she climbs over to the driver's seat. "Okay. Love you."
I lean in and give her a soft kiss. "Love you too. Don't wreck my Hummer."
Rissa gives a small laugh. "I won't."
I smile as I pull into the driveway right behind Rissa. We both park and exit our respective vehicles. I pull her to me and kiss her.
"Why do you two do this?" John says from the porch. "Every time."
I smile. "Just because we can."
Rissa gives a small chuckle. "Yeah, John. Because we can."
I pull Rissa into another kiss. "I'll do this as much as I can."
"Affectionate as ever."
John rolls his eyes. "I'll be inside."
"Bye." Rissa and I both say.
Rissa looks at me. "Listen. I just want you to know I didn't want you buying me the Bentley because as much as I like being spoiled, our relationship isn't about material possessions. It's about things between the two of us. I was a little annoyed because you pushed a little about it. Really, Randy, I appreciate it though."
"You also don't like getting a new car. Never have." I whisper to her. "I saw you eyeballing that white Mercedes-Benz though."
"I…you saw that? It was a nice car, but…I couldn't…I…"
I look at her with a small smile as I remember a memory from our younger years. "You always wanted a Mercedes-Benz. Told me that one day when you were rich as hell you'd get one."
She laughs. "Yeah, but like I said, I couldn't."
I nod, knowing that she'd be surprised with it soon. "Okay. Also, I know it's not about material possessions. I just like to give you things."
Rissa kisses my cheek. "I know. Let's go inside."
I grab her hand. "Let's go, beautiful woman."
I see her roll her eyes but smile as I walk with her inside. I close the door behind us.
The first thing I see is Ted holding Cody in a Headlock.
Rissa sighs. "What the hell are you doing?"
Ted looks at us. "Cody took the donut I wanted."
"Did he eat it?"
"No. It's still on the plate."
"Then, split it in half. Release the headlock."
Ted looks at me.
I look at the boys. "You heard her."
Ted and Cody look at each other before heading into the dining room.
I smile as I think to myself how Marissa just went full on parent on the boys. She'll be a great mom.
Rissa kisses my cheek. "I'm gonna go work on some paperwork for WWE. Tell the others I said hi. I'll be busy for awhile."
I brush a hair out of her face. "I will. Go work, Rissa."
She smiles before she heads upstairs. "Okay, Randy."
I smile as I watch her go upstairs. I then walk into the dining room.
"Hey, guys." I say. "Rissa says hey as well. Wanna see my new impulse buy?"
They all look at me. I motion for them to follow me outside. They all follow me. After they all make it outside, I smile as I look at my Bentley.
"Already saw it." John says. "But it's super cool. Impulse buy though?"
"Pretty much. Rissa encouraged it once I mentioned it."
"I really like it. And even though Rissa and I bicker at times, I think very highly of her. And as one of your best friends, I just want to remind you that you have a good woman, Randy. She brings out the best in you, man. Plus, I'm really happy you got married because for awhile I didn't think Randy Orton would ever settle down."
I laugh. "Yeah. I was a wild one even just three years ago. It's crazy how things can change so quickly. I'm married now, and we're gonna try for a baby together. It's crazy how much I was able to change myself for the better because of her."
"Yeah. Maybe, it helps that you were in love with her for years. Between you and me though, I honestly never thought you'd actually have a chance after the RKO Incident."
"You and me both. Luckily, I made it work."
"Yeah. I was worried that I was going to constantly hear you bitch every time she dated someone. You were barely tolerable bitching about Chris."
I nod. "I know."
"Anyway," John pats me on the back. "I'm going to head back inside. You go brag about your Bentley to the others."
"Okay. One more thing."
"Yeah?"
"I thought Chelle was too good for you."
John smiles and laughs. "Honestly, you're right."
He walks inside.
I walk over to Chelle. "Got a minute?"
"Yeah…" She replies. "It's a beautiful Bentley."
"Thanks. Did you restock my fridge and pantry?"
Chelle laughs. "And freezer and toiletries. You and Rissa weren't here for a week. We were all using up your stuff. I didn't want to make you guys go grocery shopping."
"Well, I appreciate it. How much did it cost?"
"Don't even think about paying me back."
"I want to, but you're being stubborn per usual. Plus, I need a favor. I'd feel less bad."
"Oh well. What's this favor?"
"You know how Rissa always wanted a Mercedes-Benz?"
"Yeah? Why?"
"Well, we were at the car dealership today. She kept eyeballing a white one. So…I got her to go to the Hummer while I filled out paperwork and I-"
"You bought it. Didn't you?"
"Sure did. She has no idea. She told me our relationship isn't about material possessions. She's right, but I know she wanted it. I want to surprise her with it, but it's still at the car dealership. She's with me all the time, so I don't know if I can pick it up myself."
"You want me to pick it up. Let me know when, and it's done."
I smile. "Thanks. You're a good friend."
Chelle smiles. "I know."
