Raw: August 22, 2011
"I'm seriously pitching all of this the second this is done." I say as I look at Randy.
Randy laughs. "You did a good job."
"That's the plan."
"So…may I ask what the point of this is? Other than revenge?"
"Get Beth all riled up and have her come down to the ring."
"And then?"
"Set up my match for Night of Champions since she clearly wants a rematch. Might as well."
Randy nods. "I see your point. Stay there. I'm going to take a picture."
"Do you have to?"
Randy picks up his phone and takes pictures. "Yes I do."
I roll my eyes. "Whatever, babe."
"I'm all for the muscle suit."
I laugh. "Yeah. I had to be a little extra."
"Aren't you always a little extra?"
"Fair enough." My cell phone starts ringing. "Who's calling?"
Randy grabs my phone and looks at it. "Chelle. Want me to answer annoyingly for you and put it on speaker?"
"Yes, please and thank you."
Randy answers the phone and places it on the table after putting it on speaker.
Randy: "Marissa's phone, her husband, Randy, speaking here. Whatever this is, I'll pass it along."
I chuckle.
Chelle: "Whatever, dumbass. I know it's on speaker. Is she in the room?"
Me: "I'm right here. What's up?"
Chelle: "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You're such a great friend."
Me: "I am?"
Chelle: "You brought Layla up because she hasn't been able to hang out really, and it gave me and Ryse some company. Thank you. You're amazing."
Randy: "She's the best."
Chelle: "I'll even agree with him right now. You're the best."
Me: "Thanks."
Chelle: "Anyway, you all set tonight?"
Me: "Absolutely. Beth is gonna be so pissed."
Chelle: "Good. Ryse, Layla, and I will be watching. I'll let you go now. Bye, Randy."
Randy: "Bye, Chelle."
Chelle: "Bye, Rissa. Love you, sis."
Me: "Love you too. Bye."
Randy ends the call. "Man, everyone loves you."
I shrug. "I'm lovable."
"I'm aware. I'm absolutely in love with you."
"I know. I love you too."
"I know? Someone needs to calm her ego down."
I give a small chuckle before sitting next to Randy on the couch. "Calm my ego? Have you met yourself? Your ego is massive."
"Don't you think I already know that? It's not the only thing of mine that's massive. Of course, you already knew that all too well."
I roll my eyes. "Stop, Randy. We can't be doing that."
"You look all cute when you're flustered. Even if you're dressed like Beth. You make it all work, even the muscle suit."
"Randy…stop."
Randy rolls his eyes. "Fine. Kiss me before you go to do your thing."
I smile as I lean in and kiss him. "Love you, Randy."
Randy pulls me onto him and kisses me back. "Love you too, beautiful."
"Man, I kinda just wanna stay back here and kiss you instead."
Randy pulls out of the kiss. "Go make fun of Beth. I'll be here when you get back."
I sigh. "I guess."
Randy pulls me back in to kiss for a couple seconds. "Now, you can go, Rissa."
I smile. "Love you."
"Love you too. Get your sexy ass back in this locker-room when you're done." Randy says as I open the door.
I laugh as I go to exit the locker-room. "I will."
I meet up with Eve in an empty hallway before we will sneak to guerilla dressed up as Beth and Natalya. "You did great. Natalya's gonna be pissed."
Eve laughs. "Well, look at you. Beth is gonna want your head."
I smile. "I know. That's the plan. I'll fight her again at Night of Champions. It's not like I didn't beat her at SummerSlam."
"Yeah, but she'll take you more seriously."
"And I'll think of something that she won't expect."
"I honestly don't doubt it. We still got a little bit before we need to go to guerilla?"
I nod. "A couple minutes."
"Okay. What'd Randy think about this?"
"He got a laugh out of it. He then told me on my way out to get my sexy ass back when I'm done."
Eve laughs. "Sounds like some shit that he'd say."
"You know it."
"You two have been so affectionate lately, like more in the open with the kissing and all."
I look at Eve. "I'm cutting down on sex with him. Let us have that."
"I'm not criticizing. I'm just pointing it out."
I roll my eyes. "Sure. Let's get going."
"Right behind you."
("Glamazon" plays)
"Ladies and gentleman, please welcome Natalya and The Glamazon, Beth Phoenix! The Divas of Doom!"
Eve and I, with our Beth and Natalya impersonations, head to the ring. I make sure to climb up into the corner and do Beth's pose before standing in the ring. I put my Divas Championship down in the corner. I motion for microphones for me and Eve.
I grab my microphone. "Ladies and gentlemen, despite the fact that I appear to have the stature of a man, it is I, the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix! And right here next to me is my Tag Team partner, the least relevant member of the Hart Family, Natalya!"
Eve, dressed as Natalya, smiles. "Least relevant is putting it lightly. Thanks, Beth."
"No problem, Nattie. I need to keep you around because I clearly won't be able to beat Marissa on my own."
"Ain't that the truth."
I give Eve a dirty look. "Hey!"
Eve shrugs. "I was just agreeing."
"Whatever. You see, Nattie, I've walked around for years claiming that I'm the most dominant Diva in the WWE. However, if that was really true, I would have been invited to be in the original DoD, instead of having to team with you."
"But, Beth, you didn't release Michelle's arms for that Glam Slam back in 2008. You never would've been invited to the group after that."
"Fair enough. I only did that to injure Michelle McCool because I was jealous of the success that she was having on SmackDown while I was around on Raw. I mean I was jealous of her, I'm still jealous of her best friend Marissa Orton, I am jealous of Maryse, and I've started to get jealous of Eve Torres too. Why? Because they are successful women and when I came to Raw in 2007, I thought that I could run through the entire Divas Division without a problem. Those four got in my way. I always intended to be at the top of the division. The only true friend I've had in my WWE career is you, Nattie. You and I have things in common. We aren't Diva Search girls. We wrestled before WWE. Mostly, Nattie, you understood me. You wanted dominance but are also okay with playing second fiddle to me. We both assumed that we would be a part of a Diva faction about dominance if there ever was one, but we weren't. You actually were the target of their debut. Remember that, Nattie?"
"I do, Beth, because I'm an easy target. Hell, we've both been jealous of other successful WWE Divas too. Including but not limited to, Melina, Layla, Mickie James, the list of names goes on and on. We're jealous of not being the center of attention in the division. Most importantly, Beth, I'm jealous that my Sharpshooter is not as good as my Uncle Bret the Hitman Hart's and that even Marissa Orton even has a better one than me."
"Yeah. If Marissa Orton and I ever meet in this ring again and she got me in that Sharpshooter, I'd tap out for sure."
("Glamazon" plays)
I look at Eve. "Good job with bringing up the Sharpshooter."
Eve smiles. "Thanks, champ."
Beth and Natalya walk out onto the stage, looking very angry. Eve and I look at each other as she takes her blonde wig off.
Natalya grabs a microphone as she enters the ring with Beth right behind her. "Who the hell do you two think you are disrespecting my uncle like that?"
"Well," Eve says. "We didn't disrespect Bret."
I nod. "Yeah. We love Bret. We didn't disrespect him. We disrespected you. You and good ol' Beth over here. After last week, I think turnabout's fair play here. You wanna come down to the ring and make fun of us? We'll do it right back."
"And we did it better too."
I smile at Eve. "You're damn right we did."
Beth glares at us. "What you two did was nothing but disrespectful. You portrayed me and Natalya in a poor light and acted like we were jealous of everyone. I know we're the best, and you two, as well as the rest of the Divas, know that's the truth. We're the only Divas here that aren't fake, plastic, Barbie dolls."
I glare right back. "You wanna talk disrespectful Beth? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you talk trash about my marriage last week? You were literally at the wedding. By the way, my marriage isn't lackluster or fabricated. My marriage to Randy Orton is real and exciting and one of best things to happen in my life. He is a wonderful man and means absolutely everything to me. What I will not tolerate is people like you two trashing everything I have with him. To be honest though, I only invited you both to be nice. Let's get real here, Beth. I respect what you do in this ring, but from the moment we met, I couldn't stand you. I can't even stand you now. I've tried multiple times to be nice to you over the years, but all you do is bully and harass and put down every woman who you believe is a threat."
"So basically everyone who isn't Natalya?" Eve says.
"Exactly. You are so insecure that it's pathetic, Beth. You've always been threatened by me, and you don't like it because I never let you get to me. You never liked me, Michelle, Maryse, or Eve, so the Divas of Domination were always enemy number one in your book. Why? Because we were having success. You came around in 2007 and won the Women's Championship pretty early on. In 2008, you did a great job keeping your dominance going, but even in those times, Beth, you could never really beat me on your own. The majority of our matches involved either you getting intentionally disqualified to retain the Women's Championship or you cheating to win. The few matches between us that were clean, I won. Hell, you came in thinking that you'd run through the whole division, but that didn't happen. Did it, Beth? Do you remember who beat you in your first Singles match loss? Because I do. It was me. You came in, winning all your Singles matches until you came face-to-face with me in the ring at Madison Square Garden, and I beat you. You act like I'm a Barbie doll. I'm not, but you are convinced that I am. However, the reality is that this Barbie doll beats you if you wrestle clean. How does that make you look? How does that make you feel? You could never let that go, and you tried to pick on me just like you do with anyone else that threatens you. You hated me for it, and it still drives you crazy to this day. It got even worse in 2009 though. Didn't it? The Divas of Domination formed and for most of the year, Beth, you were an afterthought. You got angry that there was a group of girls from the Diva Search doing better than you. You think that because you're more muscular that you should be more successful. That's why you're trying to claim that my victory at SummerSlam is a fluke. It wasn't a fluke, and I could do it again."
"I really doubt that. I could pin you in the middle of this ring and claim what is mine."
"What is yours, Beth?" I walk over and grab my Divas Championship. "This is mine, and I have no intention of letting this go anytime soon. And while we're here, Nattie, you're here opposing us because you're still mad that the Divas of Domination made their debut at your expense. If I could go back in time and do it all over again, I wouldn't change a damn thing."
"You're an awful lot of talk, Marissa. You know that?"
"Am I?"
"Yeah. You talk a big game about you beating me at SummerSlam not being a fluke, but can you back that up in the ring again? It's doubtful."
I laugh. "Doubtful? Like how you not unhooking Michelle's arms being an accident is doubtful? You are trying to challenge me to another match for the Divas Championship, Beth. You could've just come out and say it. You want it? You got it. You. Me. Night of Champions for the Divas Championship. I'll embarrass you in your hometown of Buffalo just like I did when the Divas of Domination was just started. May 4, 2009. You know how I remember? It was a great night because I embarrassed you and I started my relationship with my now husband that same night. It brings a smile to my face every time I think about it."
Beth punches me. I start punching back. Beth grabs my arm and goes to pull me in, but I headbutt her. Beth stumbles before rolling out of the ring. Natalya realizes she's between me and Eve and tries to run at me. I kick Natalya in the gut before picking her up in a Fireman's Carry position. I turn to look at Beth before dropping Natalya with the Picture Perfect. Beth glares at me from the end of the ramp as Natalya rolls out of the ring.
