I smiled at the girls as I sat on the couch. "It's pretty peaceful here without the boys for a while."
Michelle laughs. "Now you know how I feel when I'm alone while everyone is at work."
"No wonder you stay here."
Layla laughs. "I feel like Maryse and I gave her some good company."
Maryse nods. "We did."
"Anyway, can we talk about what you two did on Raw, Eve and Rissa? I've been watching at home the whole time I've been injured, and I swear I've never been all about someone's promo like I was with Marissa's to Beth. The impersonations were great too. Even though I impersonated Natalya last year."
Eve laughs. "You gave us some inspiration."
Chelle laughs. "You should've heard her though. Lay, Ryse, and I were all on the couch watching Raw. Rissa starts digging into Beth, and Lay is yelling something along the lines of yes, tear into that bitch."
I laugh. "Thanks for the support, Lay."
Layla laughs. "No problem. Chelle and Ryse were all about it too. You made the comment about the Glam Slam incident not being an accident, and Chelle was like call her out on it. Ryse was pretty much like yes the whole time. Also, thanks for the name drop."
Ryse laughs. "My favorite was how you two got under Natalya's skin about the Sharpshooter."
I smile. "That was Eve's idea actually."
"Good job, Eve."
Eve smiles. "Thanks."
"Anyway," Layla says. "I know you had marital issues, but Chelle tells me that you and Randy are happy now, Rissa."
I smile. "Yeah. We're really happy. I'm going to let you in on something everyone else here already knows. Randy and I will be trying for a baby after I lose my Divas Championship, whenever that is."
"Oh my gosh. That's amazing. Good luck. I know Chelle and John are trying too, so I hope you two have close pregnancies."
I nod. "Me too. I'm off birth control pills already too."
"Really? Are you at least using condoms?"
"That and cutting down quite a bit."
Layla laughs. "I never thought I'd see the day Randy cut down."
I shrug. "Well, it's here. Unfortunately, I think I'm not taking to it well."
Chelle gasps. "Are you frustrated? Not the normal frustrated, but that kind of frustrated?"
I sigh. "Yeah. For about two weeks now, I just look at him, and I'm thinking about having sex. Doesn't even matter what we're doing or where we are. I'm thinking about it. I can't get pregnant yet though, so I get more frustrated. It hasn't even been a month yet."
Layla looks at me. "Not to nose into your business too much, but how often have you two been doing it every week?"
"A couple times."
"You two are the kind of couple that if it's a good day, it's a couple times a day." Eve says.
"Not always, but more than two times a week would be nice. I just am scared that I'll end pregnant too early."
Ryse gives me a serious look. "You need to talk to Randy about this."
"How do I do that?"
Chelle chuckles. "Your husband is Randy Orton. If you think about it, there's no way he doesn't want it more if you want it more. Just bring it up when the time is right. Don't you have a date tonight?"
"I do, but I don't want to kill the mood by being like we're not having enough sex."
Layla nods. "I see your point, but Chelle is right. Talk to him."
Just then, the door opens, and the boys walk in.
I give the girls a quiet stern look. Randy sits next to me.
"Hi." I whisper as I lay my head on his shoulder.
Randy smiles. "Hi. What are we talking about?"
"Periods." Layla quickly answers.
I give her an appreciative smile without Randy noticing.
"I want to assume that you're referring to the punctuation mark, but I know better."
"You should." I mutter.
Randy puts his arm around me. "And I do. By the way, I've accounted for everything. Our date can go as planned tonight."
"What are we doing?"
"It's a surprise."
I sigh. "It's always a surprise."
Randy laughs. "It makes it more exciting, Rissa."
"How fancy do I need to dress?"
"Dress as casually as you want."
"Okay."
Cody kisses Eve on the cheek as he sits down as well. "Who's gonna cook tonight?"
"Well," Chelle says as John and Ted sit down as well. "Ryse and I have been the ones to cook the past two nights. Layla can't stand by herself for long without crutches. Rissa and Randy will be on their date. So either Eve or one of you boys other than Randy."
"I'll take tomorrow though. Just to let you know." I say. "Y'all just figure out what to do tonight."
Chelle nods. "Okay."
Randy pulls out of the driveway as we're in his new Bentley. "I have planned a very good date tonight."
I look at Randy as he starts driving down the road. "Even at the last minute? I'm impressed, Mister Orton."
Randy laughs as he grabs my hand. "You should be. Only for you, would I do this."
"That makes me very happy. We need to hang up more pictures at home."
"I was hoping to hang our wedding picture over the mantle this week or next week."
"That's a start."
"Yeah. It's just hard to get things done when all the others are here sometimes."
"Yeah. It's been a while that they've all been here."
"Almost four months."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah."
"That's like a third of a year."
"Well, that's what happens when you don't set an exact amount of time and just say a while."
"Don't be blaming me for that."
"I'm not. It's just longer than I expected them to stay. Not to put a damper on the mood for our date, but I didn't expect for the whole first third of the first year of our lives together as married that we'd be hosting our friends at our house. Tyler left last month, and I kinda expected our friends to follow suit, at least Chelle and John."
"They'll all leave eventually."
"That could be months from now, Rissa. People get comfortable, and then they want to stay. It could be months before they leave. Hell, Chelle and John are trying for a baby in our home. Not hating on any of our friends at all, but that's not really right. Is it? They should be trying in their own home. I'll exclude Layla from this because she's only here this week, and I understand that she needed it. I was fine with this being a thing for a little while, but think about it, Rissa. It's been four months of us having to leave our home to get any definite alone time. They knock on our bedroom door and come out onto the balcony. Those are our best friends, and they all do a lot for us. However, it's hard not being able to be alone at home much. Alone with you of course. Sorry about venting so much and ruining the mood for our date. I just needed to let it out."
I nod as he pulls the car into a local park. "It's not going to ruin the mood of our date if you don't let it, Randy. Why are we at a park?"
Randy smiles as he parks. "Our date."
I looked at him confused as I unbuckled my seatbelt. "Okay then."
Randy unbuckles his seatbelt and exits the car. "I told you I have a plan."
I nod. "Okay."
Randy opens my car door and kisses my cheek as I exit the car. "Trust me, sweetheart."
I watch him open the trunk of the car. "I do."
Randy pulls out a blanket and a picnic basket. "Like I said, I have a plan."
"You planned this? A picnic? Wait, did you cook?"
"I convinced Chelle to do it because you think I can't cook."
I shrug. "Well…"
Randy closes the trunk before starting to walk with me. "I can, but I won't argue with you because I love your cooking."
I smile. "Yeah. I'm a pretty great cook."
Randy lays the blanket out in the grass. "Yeah. Our children are going to be the luckiest people in the world. They'll be growing up with the best cooking ever from their mother."
"Your mother taught me to cook."
"Yeah. I'm not going to trash the cooking that I grew up with, but you're a little more adventurous than my mother with cooking. It makes things a little more interesting."
I smile as I sit down on the blanket with him. "Maybe, but your mom makes amazing food too."
Randy nods. "Yeah. I was spoiled with great food growing up. I hope this is the kind of simple date that you were talking about, Rissa."
I grab Randy and pull him into a kiss. "This is absolutely perfect, Randy."
