The look in Shonda's eye sits with him as he and Jane find a place to talk. When they find an empty room; he closes the door behind them. He thought he'd tempered his anger; but it comes out as he asks, "What in the hell do you think you're doing here Jane?"

She's taken back by his instant raised voice; she sees the anger in his eyes. But again, she could care less as a smirk sits upon her face, and she says, "Awe, you don't like my outfit? It's a clean shirt. I purchased it from target on the way over." Tony groans as he says, "Damn it Jane stop! Just stop. You can't keep doing this. There's no reason for you to do this anymore. We had an agreement."

His words trigger a response in her neither one of them were ready for. She solemnly says, "We had a deal but you broke it. This is your fault. You had to go and fall in love and make a new life. If you hadn't done that I would be here right now as your date. I deserve to be here. Not her. I stood by you through your early years, me. I supported your dreams and goals, me. Not her. When you were a trust fund kid with a dream of acting I was there to hear about the failed auditions and struggles of your career choices. So the question isn't why am I here? The question is why is it she can be here, and I can't be when I'm the one who helped you get a real start in the business, which is why you're here now."

Understanding her response, but still not willing to fall down that rabbit hole of emotions she so quickly opened up. He sees her with tears in her eyes, and obvious hurt feelings.

Nonetheless, he stays on topic as he calmly says, "Jane, I'm sorry that you're perspective of what happened between us has you so upset. But here and now isn't the time to discuss revisionist history. This isn't about our past, or our struggles. This is about you upstaging Kerry and I. It feels like you're here out of spite and bitterness, which isn't you. And it makes me think that someone set you up to do this. Just tell me how'd you get a ticket?"

Jane snaps out of her feelings out of shock and awe; he's never talked to her this way. Especially when she's proven to be upset. She angrily replies, "How dare you dismiss my feelings. You don't know what you're talking about. I'm here on my own. I used the ticket that was sent to the house. Nobody sent me!"

Despite her anger he hears her reply, and instantly knows how this unfolded. He quickly knows who's behind this, as he says, "That bitch!" Jane sees that he's angry and obviously in thought about something other than what they're talking about. She walks up to him as she asks, "Are you listening to me?" He snaps out of his thoughts as he says, "Yes. I'm listening. But clearly you're not. Because you don't understand that you were set up to come here."

Confusion comes over her, dulling her anger as she asks, "What are you talking about? I told you I am here on my own." He sighs as he says, "You were sent two tickets to the house in Connecticut right?" She nods as she says, "Yes." He replies, "When's the last time I received anything messengered to the house there Jane?" She pauses and realizes his point. Someone sent the tickets to the house to ensure she came.

He sees the light in her eyes come on as her mind clearly is in alignment with his. She gasps as she says, "Damn, I didn't think of that." Tony replies, "I know you didn't. But it's too late for that now." She responds, "So now what?" He sighs as he says, "I don't know. But I do know who'd have an answer."

He pulls out his phone and calls Judy; she answers and immediately she says, "I was just about to call you." Forgetting his reason for calling her for a moment; he asks, "How is she?" She hears the desperation in his voice, and she says, "She's still upset. But much calmer now. I'd give her the phone but she's in the bathroom." Tony responds, "She shouldn't be alone." Judy says, "She's not. Katie's with her." He nods as he says, "That's good."

The sound of relief as he hears she's settling down could be felt through the phone with Judy, as well as in the room with him and Jane. Jane watches him on the phone as he worriedly talks to someone about Kerry. Then he explains his theory of someone setting this situation up to the party on the line too. She wonders who he's speaking with. But her thoughts end when she hears him say, "I know it was her. It's the only thing that makes sense. We're in the back room by the exit. Okay bye."

When the call ends Tony turns to face her and she asks, "What's going on? Who'd you call?" He replies, "What's going on is I have someone who's going to fix this mess we're in for all of our sakes." She shakes her head as she says, "Who'd do this? Who'd send me tickets to come here?" He replies, "It was…" Before he can reply to her; there's a knock on the door. And he goes to open it. When it opens; it's Judy. But Kerry isn't with her.

He's disappointed that she's alone; Judy sees his face and says, "She's okay. It's just best she rests a little longer for now." He nods and he tries to focus in on the importance of resolving the issue. Letting Judy in; she walks inside and she and Jane meet eye to eye. Judy looks at her and takes in the sight of her from head to toe. In her mind she's shaking her head and thinking wow. What an outfit. She's sporting a white, lose fitting button up shirt. A pair of black slacks, and a pair of black flats.
