I look at Randy as I finish my makeup. "How are you feeling?"

Randy shakes his head. "Not good. This household is so tense."

I sigh. "I know. Why do you think I volunteered us to help set up the party?"

"So we could have an excuse to not be here. I'm so happy you think ahead."

"Yeah, I'm good at that."

Randy pulls me close. "You are. I seriously can't keep dealing with this."

"I know. I swear if I hear those two arguing again, they're getting their asses kicked. You won't even be the one doing it."

"There's two of them and two of us. We each get one."

"Tag Team them? I like the way you think."

"I think that's part of the reason we work so well. I wish they would've just listened to John."

"You and me both."

Randy kisses my forehead. "I know, sweetheart. Are you ready to go?"

"Yes, I am. Just grab our gift and John and Chelle's gift for Tyler."

Randy grabs the gifts. "I'm on it."

"Thanks. What would I do without you to carry everything?"

Randy laughs. "You'd have a dilemma."

"Probably."

"Let's get going."

"Right behind you."

We both walk downstairs. Eve and Ryse are watching TV on the couch.

"Leaving already?" Ryse asks.

"We're helping set up."

"Oh okay. How long do you think that'll take?"

"Hopefully not that insanely long."

Randy looks at us. "I'm going to put these in the car."

"Okay, babe."

Randy heads outside.

Ryse smiles. "You look great."

I grin. "Thanks. I'm trying to cheer up Randy, so I got a little extra dressed up."

We hear Ted and Cody arguing once again.

"Son of a bitch." Ryse mutters.

"Again?" Eve asks.

I sigh. "Don't get pissed, but I'm about to say something not very nice to both of them."

"Please do."

I look at them. "If Randy comes back in, tell him what I'm doing."

Ryse nods. "We'll do that."

"Okay. Thanks."

I walk back upstairs. Ted and Cody are arguing in the hallway.

"Will you two shut the hell up?" I say. "This is absolutely ridiculous. You're both in your twenties. Start acting like it and stop acting like small children. You two need to figure something out. This has to stop. Don't come to Tyler's birthday party. You'll argue and just cause a big ordeal. If you two can't find a way to stop arguing, then you both need to go home. I'll see you after the party."

I walk back downstairs. Eve and Ryse haven't moved a bit.

"Randy knows what you're doing and said he would wait in your car." Ryse says.

"Okay." I reply. "Listen, I told them not to come to the party. This is ridiculous, and the last time there was an argument at Tyler's birthday, things ended horribly. You two still feel free to stop by if you want though."

"Okay."

"I'm going to go now. I'll see you later. Bye."

I exit my house and enter the passengers side of my Mercedes-Benz. "This is ridiculous."

"Bad?" Randy asks.

"I'll tell you during our drive. Thanks for letting me slightly brag about this car by using it instead of your Bentley or your Hummer."

"Absolutely."

Randy and I park in the parking lot of the banquet hall that Tyler's birthday party was being hosted at.

"There's not that many vehicles here." Randy comments.

"Yeah." I reply. "There's just two other vehicles, and it's definitely Tyler's and Kenny's."

"I noticed. Is that Colby standing by the door?"

"Yes, that is. Let's head inside."

We both exit the car, and Randy gets the presents out of the trunk.

Colby sees us and smiles as we make it to the front of the building. "Geez. You have to brag about your wealth by bringing two presents?"

I roll my eyes. "No. One of these is from Chelle and John. The real bragging is my car."

"Oh. That's your Mercedes-Benz?"

"Sure is."

"Lucky."

Randy laughs. "I'm going to head inside."

"Okay." I reply. "I'll be inside in a minute."

"Okay, beautiful."

I look at Colby. "How OCD is he about the party?"

Colby lets out a small laugh. "Very."

"I figured. Did he make you come out here?"

"I'm supposed to greet guests."

"Sounds fun."

"It's not."

"Oh well, but come inside for a few. People aren't coming yet."

"Um…okay."

Colby and I walk inside. Randy is helping Tyler and Kenny with decorations.

Tyler pulls me into a hug. "Thanks for coming."

I hug him back. "Wouldn't miss it. While it's just the five of us, Randy and I wanted to tell you guys something."

"Damn. What did you two do this time?"

Randy looks at Tyler. "This time?"

"You two are always doing crazy shit. Damn, Rissa, why'd you have to steal him from us boys?"

I sigh. "Stop."

"Fine. What's going on?"

"We're going to try to have a baby after I lose my Divas Championship. Obviously we aren't trying yet, but we're telling people we're close to. So yeah."

"Really?" Kenny asks.

"Yeah. We're serious about this."

"Oh. Well, congratulations. Tyler, we've gotta start dating again. We're both single, and Randy is over here working towards having a second kid. We're the same age."

Randy laughs. "Stop slacking, boys."

Tyler looks at me. "Good luck. Don't make me acknowledge how a baby is made."

"We won't."

Colby smiles. "Congratulations. Best of luck."

"Thank you."

Many people had showed up to the party. However, I found myself standing alone. Randy was talking with Tyler, Kenny, and some of the guys from high school. Colby was still outside greeting people, and Eve and Ryse had yet to show. I was incredibly bored, but not quite bored enough to socialize with people I have barely spoken to since high school. I receive a text on my phone.

Colby: Come outside.

I glance towards Randy before slowly walking outside.

I find Colby. "What's going on?"

Colby points to his left. "Someone wants to talk to you, and it's urgent."

I look at Ryse. "Thanks, Colby."

I approach Ryse. "What's up?"

Ryse sighs. "I'm really sorry for putting a bummer on this mood for you, but we need to talk."

"Okay. What's going on?"

"Eve and Cody left."

"They left? Left?"

"Yeah. Packed up their bags and left. Eve passed me their gift for Tyler and said that they were going to Georgia."

"So they're permanently out?"

"I think so."

"Oh, I guess this will solve the arguing problem then."

"Yeah…Ted feels really bad. He's really sorry."

I sigh. "It's okay. I was just sick of hearing it."

"Trust me. I know."

We both laugh.

"Hey, is something wrong?" Randy asks as he approaches us. "What are you doing out here?"

I look at Randy. "Eve and Cody went home."

"Went home?"

Ryse nods. "They packed their bags and left. Eve says that they were going to Georgia."

Randy puts his jacket around me as I was starting to shiver. "Oh. Did they text you about this, Rissa? They didn't text me."

"I doubt they texted." I reply as I grab my phone. "They didn't."

"Oh. Well, okay then. Let's all go inside. We have a party to enjoy."

Randy, Ryse, and I returned to the house. Ted was watching TV on the couch.

"Hey." Ted says as he looks at us. "How was the party?"

"Good." I reply. "How's my couch?"

"I thought Randy bought this before you moved in."

"It's still my couch."

"Fair enough."

I sit down. "What are we watching?"

"I'm just flipping through the channels."

"Oh." Randy says as he sits next to me. "Nothing good on?"

"Not a damn thing. Listen, I'm sorry about causing problems in your house by arguing with Cody."

Randy shrugs. "It's okay. I don't blame you for being pissed at Cody. Honestly, I would be too. Hell, I think he's pissed at me because it backfired on him and I bloodied him."

Ted nods. "Probably. I was amused though."

"Good."

Ted looks at me as Ryse also sits on the couch. "I'm apologizing to you too, Bro."

I nod. "I accept your apology."

"Good. Listen, I've been thinking. Maybe, as long as Ryse agrees, it's time for us to go home too."

Ryse looks at Ted. "Honestly, I do agree. I think it's time."

I smile. "Well, do what you feel is the right thing to do."

"We'll pack up completely tomorrow and not come back after work this week."

"Okay. Thank you for staying with us."

"Absolutely."
