Hello everyone, here's to hoping your New Year's Eve went well, and you're walking in the blessings of the new year! Sometimes, after posting an update. My brain won't shut off. So, I have to continue writing. Or else, I cannot do anything else. Ergo, you're getting another installment of this story much sooner than I originally planned. Let's check back into the story of Timing Is Everything. Enjoy!

As they pull into the parking garage; Tony hangs up with Liz. When the call ends, there's an intense quiet that settles over them. She feels for him, but isn't sure what to say at first. But then, it hits her like a lightning bolt. She needs him to look at her, if she sees his eyes. She will know exactly what to say.

Guided by instinct, she reaches over to him, and touches his hand. He looks at her. His eyes full of concern, and uncertainty. Which confirms to her what she already suspected.

Before he speaks, she says, "Babe, you should go." He pauses, then says, "I can't go Ker, we're shooting right now. And, you heard Liz. He's in good hands and responding to the medication."

She tilts her head, giving him a knowing look as she plainly asks, "Who are you trying to convince that you don't want to go see for yourself he's okay? Because I can assure you, you're not convincing me. Therefore, you can't be doing that good of a job of convincing yourself either."

Hearing her response, he can't argue with her. He takes a breath, and says, "I hate when you read me." She lovingly smiles at him, and he shares a smile with her as she responds, "Too bad. It's my job. And, it's what I signed up for. So get used to it." He caresses her face sweetly as he says, "I love you." She replies, "I love you too." They share a sweet kiss, and the quiet is suddenly broken up by a sneeze from the back seat.

They both look behind them and right away realize the sneezer must be Isa; because Josie raises up looking at them, as if they disturbed her. The second sneeze confirms it's their little one, because this time a whine follows the sneeze. Unable to see her, due to the rear facing car seat. Both of them get out, Tony grabbing Josie from the back seat. And, Kerry checking on Isa, then getting her out of the car to carry her inside.

Once they get in, it takes them a little over an hour to get Isa down. She appears to be a little cranky. But, they manage to get her settled. Kerry then pumps for the evening and showers. When she comes out of the bedroom, she finds her husband in the kitchen setting the table. She watches him for a moment from the doorway.

After pouring her apple juice in a glass, he looks up and sees her watching him. He smiles as he says, "Stalking is illegal in most states you know." She grins as she walks toward him. When she reaches him, they embrace as she replies, "I have papers on you. So it's not stalking. Besides, you shouldn't be so dammed fine and I wouldn't happen."

They share a laugh and then a kiss, as he replies, "You're a nut." She swats him on the butt as their embrace breaks, as she agreeably replies, "Yes. But I'm your nut all the same." Again he chuckles at his wife's sense of humor. She always knows what he needs, and gives it to him without apprehension.

They sit down to eat the grilled chicken salad prepared earlier by their chef. It's Kerry's favorite because of the delicious homemade vinaigrette she uses on the salad, and the combination of bell peppers.

Tony watches his wife scarf down her salad, and refill her plate. He always admires how shameless she is when she eats. How could a woman so beautiful and petite have the appetite of a truck driver sometimes, he thinks? Just one of the many wonders of the world for sure.

Suddenly, he snaps out of his head as he hears her ask, "Are you okay?" He responds, "Yeah. I'm fine, why?" She looks down at his plate and then back up at his face, as she replies, "Because you're not eating." He realizes in that moment he hasn't taken a bite of his food. Looking down at the full plate, he looks at her and says, "I was getting to it. You just got a jumpstart on me."

She accepts his wise crack, but after swallowing the bite of food in her mouth. She looks at him as he begins to eat. They converse about the day, and the scenes. He tells her about the changes in the writing room. According to Tom, a few of the writers from last season opted not to return. She can't say she's surprised given the shift in the show's focus.

When dinner ends, they load the dishwasher and check on Isa once more before heading to bed. After checking on her. Tony goes to shower, and Kerry climbs into bed. While alone, her mind refocuses. She knows she has to find a way to get him to give in to the idea of going to see Sam. As she looks at her screen saver on her phone, a picture of Tony and Isa. Instantly, it comes to her.

Seconds later he enters the bedroom freshly showered, smelling amazing, and dressed in her favorite pajamas of his, his birthday suit. She takes in the vision of fineness that is her husband, but puts her libido on the back burner for a moment. She knows, they need to talk.

When he reaches the bedside, she looks up at him. He pulls back the covers on the bed, and as he gets in. He says, "A penny for your thoughts." She moves over to him, and they cuddle together as she looks into his eyes. He has an idea of what's on her mind. But still, when he hears it. It still has to sink in to a degree.
