Survivor Series: November 20, 2011

I grabbed Randy's hand as we walked around the backstage area. Randy held my hand tightly.

I looked up at him. "Good luck tonight."

Randy smiled and kissed my forehead. "Thank you, babe. I'll admit it is a little bit of a bummer that you won't be in my corner for this. I feel like if we weren't trying for a baby, you'd be out there for this one."

"I'd definitely be out there. I could have helped your team out. I'll be watching from guerilla though, rooting you on."

"Thanks. I want to see you first thing after I win."

"I'll be right there, Randy. Right behind the curtain, ready to see you."

Randy smiles. "That's good. I'll win the match. Then, I'll come backstage to kiss those lips that are only mine to kiss. After that, after we make it back to the hotel, I'll try to conceive with you."

I smile back at him. "That sounds like a fantastic plan."

"It will be one."

"So…anything else in your plans for tonight?"

Randy gives me a serious look. "Yes, Rissa, I do intend on doing that tonight."

"Okay, that's all I wanted to know about."

Randy opens the door as we arrive at our locker-room. "If I can track John Laurinaitis down, I'll be all over that."

I grin as I enter the locker-room with Randy following me. "Do you think I could be there for that?"

Randy closes the door behind us. "I was already planning on it. Don't you worry. I knew you'd want that satisfaction."

"Yeah, I do."

Randy opens his bag. "Let me change into my ring gear and boots, and then we'll go from there."

I smile. "Okay."

After Randy got changed, I received a text from Eve that she, Ted, and John were all in Catering. Randy and I both decided we were hungry, so we decided to join our friends.

I sat down next to Eve with a salad. "Hey, what's up?"

Eve shrugs as Randy sits down on my other side. "Not much. You aren't choosing that because of what John Laurinaitis said, are you, Marissa?"

"No, it's just what I decided on. That's all."

I see Eve and Randy exchange a look, but I choose to ignore that for now.

Ted looks at Randy. "Are you ready for your match tonight?"

Randy smiles. "Of course I am. I'm kicking some serious ass. Sorry in advance about Cody, Eve."

Eve laughs. "We're still fighting. If you beat some sense into him, it'd be doing me a favor."

"Oh. Okay then."

"What are you two fighting about anyway?" Ted asks.

Eve sighs. "Cody has been being an ass about literally everything. I have a Divas Championship match tonight, and he didn't even wish me any luck. That's how little we've been civil to each other lately."

"So you're in the Cody is being an ass club as much as the rest of us are?"

"I might be in it even more than the rest of you."

"Understandable. John, are you ready to team with the Rock tonight against Miz and R-Truth?"

John smiles. "Absolutely. I'm so glad that he's willing to work with me. It's so fun, even though he has to act like he hates me on TV."

I smile as I finish my salad. "Yeah, but we all know that I'm his favorite person in our friend group."

Randy laughs. "And I did stuff with him at WrestleMania first."

John looks at us. "You two just shut up."

"Sorry, Cena, this is too much fun for me."

Ted looks at us. "Guys, look who just showed up."

The five of us looked at the entrance of Catering to see John Laurinaitis walk in. I grabbed Randy's hand.

"I'll let him get food and sit down first." Randy says. "John, what'd you say to him about it?"

John looks at Randy. "I told Laurinaitis that she did nothing that should've condone him saying anything like that to her. I didn't say much because I didn't think it was my place."

"Okay, Cena. Just wanted to know what was already covered."

"That's completely understandable."

"Thanks, Cena." I say.

"I know we don't get along at times but we are still friends. I have your back, Rissa. When you think you can take John Laurinaitis down, I'll be right there to have your back."

"Thank you."

Randy squeezes my hand. "Sweetheart, he's about done getting food."

I glance at John Laurinaitis. "Oh, are you about to do it then, Randy?"

"Yeah, I'm about to go do it."

Laurinaitis gets his food and sits down a few tables away from us.

I look at Randy. "Go. Do it, Randy."

Randy kisses my cheek. "Okay. I'll take care of that now. Love you, Rissa."

"Love you too."

Randy gets up and heads towards the table that John Laurinaitis was at. Randy sat down directly across from John Laurinaitis at the table. Eve, Ted, Cena, and I, as well as some of the other members of the roster that were in Catering were watching.

Laurinaitis looked up from his food at Randy. "Randy."

Randy looked directly at John Laurinaitis. "John."

"Do you need something?"

"Yeah, I do actually. Why the hell would you make any comments about my wife's weight?"

"I…uh…I…I don't know what you're talking about, Orton."

"Cut that bullshit out. You know exactly what I'm talking about."

"Do I?"

"I'd watch what you're eating there, Marissa. Looks like you've gained some weight. Sound familiar, Laurinaitis?"

Laurinaitis looked away as his face went pale. "I…"

"Well…I don't have all day. Does it sound familiar?"

"I don't have to answer to you, Orton."

"That's okay, Laurinaitis. I have no problem with taking this to HR, and Rissa doesn't either."

"You wouldn't."

"Yeah, I would. Try me."

"What do you want?"

"I'll only ask you one more time. Make sure you understand what I'm saying this time, Laurinaitis. Why the hell would you make any comments about my wife's weight?"

"She was being a bitch."

"How? Because she had responses to your comments? What you said to her was worse than anything she said to you."

"And?"

"Apologize."

"Excuse me?"

"Apologize. You owe Marissa that, and you know it, Laurinaitis."

"Hmm…let me think about it…no."

Randy gives Laurinaitis a dirty look. "Fine. Don't apologize, you selfish, obnoxious son of a bitch. Just don't expect any respect from me or Marissa. You don't deserve it and won't be getting it from either of us. You're an absolute prick. Screw you."

Randy walks away from John Laurinaitis and heads back to our table.

I look at Randy. "Do you need to get out of here?"

Randy nods. "That would be a good idea."

I stand up. "Okay. Let's head back to our locker-room and chill out for a while before your match."

Randy puts an arm around me. "Let's go. See the rest of you later."

Randy smiles at me as we lay in bed together at the hotel. "You're so beautiful, Rissa. I love you."

I look back at him. "I love you too, Randy. Thanks for earlier."

"No problem. I was just doing what I thought was right."

"You tried to get him to apologize to me."

"You deserve an apology from him."

"I know. Sorry you lost your Tag Team match."

Randy pulled me close. "It's all good. I'll get my hands on Wade. I can't be in a bad mood anyway. We may have conceived a child about twenty minutes ago."

I laugh. "Maybe we did. I'd be happy if that's the case."

Randy nods. "Me too."
