SmackDown Filming: December 13, 2011
"With all these times of you being in some sort of match with Dolph Ziggler lately, it seems that the higher-ups almost waited for me to not be on TV to put you against him to deal with Vickie on your own." I said to Randy as we walked together backstage.
Randy laughs. "No kidding."
"It's like oh she isn't managing Randy anymore, let's force him to have to deal with Vickie."
"Yeah. If things are still like this when you get back, just show up to kick her ass while she's trying to distract me or something."
"I could do that."
"Yeah, you could take her on easily."
"I have…multiple times."
"That is true. Do it again."
"We'll have to see when the time comes."
"Speaking of you doing things, did Beth and Natalya make an issue out of you slapping Beth last night?"
"Not as far as I know."
"Good. I was little concerned that they would."
"If they do, I'll handle it accordingly."
"That's good to know."
"Are you ready for TLC this Sunday?"
"I am. I'm going to put Wade's ass through a table."
"Sounds good."
"It should to you, considering the conversation that you had with him last week."
"You're not wrong there. I love just walking around and getting to talk to you."
"We do this all the time."
"I know that, Randy. It just makes me happy."
"I love hearing that. I also love you."
"I love you too."
Randy kisses me. "Forever and always, baby."
"Forever and always." I whisper back.
"Gross." Ted comments as he walks by. "Public displays of affection."
"You're just mad because Ryse isn't here." Randy replies as we stop kissing.
"Or I'm just sick of you two doing this in public all the time."
"You stayed with us for months and didn't say a word."
"You just didn't hear me saying it."
I roll my eyes. "Randy and I can kiss in public and will continue to do so."
Randy kisses my forehead. "Damn straight. Now, I have a Tag Team match to prepare for tonight. So, if you would excuse us, Ted, Marissa and I are going to head to our locker-room now."
"Okay." Ted replies. "Good luck tonight."
Eve looks at me as I join her, Kelly, and Alicia, who are watching SmackDown from a monitor backstage. "Hey, what's up?"
I shrug. "The usual. Hanging out backstage, with nothing much to do since I'm not competing."
"Sounds boring."
"It is."
Alicia looks at me. "Just a heads up, Rissa, I heard that Beth and Natalya were going to go John Laurinaitis about you slapping Beth."
I shrug. "Oh well. They can do that, but it won't get that far. Congratulations on your win over Natalya by the way."
"Thanks. Doesn't John Laurinaitis have it out for you though?"
"Yeah, but the whole situation was literally on TV. If there was a chance that the Board of Directors had a problem with it, I would know by now."
Kelly nods as Big Show defeats Jack Swagger. "Fair enough. I hope I can beat Beth for the Divas Championship this Sunday at TLC."
"I'm sure you'll be fine. Just try to catch Beth off guard."
"I'll try my best."
"Good."
"How are you feeling about that whole slap on Beth yesterday, now that it's been a day?" Eve asks.
"I still don't regret it any bit at all. From my perspective, it seems like they thought they could just take the Slammy from me easily because I'm not wrestling right now, but I'm too stubborn to even let them think that. It felt really good, especially since I haven't wrestled in about two months."
"I didn't even think about that. How'd it feel to go out there last night and be on TV again?"
I sigh. "I haven't wrestled for about two months now, so I felt weird about being on TV last night. However, I took back to it naturally the second I got onto the stage to accept my Slammy award. It felt really good being out there again. The thing is between that really loud reaction I got from the crowd and the second loud reaction I got after slapping Beth across the face, I think it made me realize how much I truly miss being in the ring. I have missed it some before last night, but it hit me hard after slapping Beth last night. It's hard because there's a part of me that misses it enough to stop staying away and to jump back into the mix of things already. Then, the other part of me reminds me that I'm out of the ring right now for a reason that's very important to me. Professional wrestling is very important to me, but so is my reason for staying out of the ring right now."
"What is that reason?" Alicia asks.
"Eve knows, but no offense, it's a personal one that I'd like to keep pretty quiet right now."
"That's completely understandable, Rissa."
"I know. I just feel so torn."
"Just follow your heart, Rissa." Kelly comments.
I watch Randy's match from guerilla with Ted standing with me. "Man, I miss Tag Team matches."
Ted looks at me with concern. "What's wrong? You said that you miss Tag Team matches, so I know something's wrong. Those things are usually full of hoping you and whoever you may be teaming with can get on the same page if you aren't a faction."
"I just miss wrestling in general, Ted. I love it."
"You're trying for a baby though."
"I know that. I just think it may get even harder for me to not be involved if I don't get pregnant soon."
"Why's that?"
"What's the next pay per view after TLC?"
"Royal Rumble, why?"
"And what's Royal Rumble usually the start of?"
"The Road to WrestleMania."
"Exactly. I haven't missed being involved in the Road to WrestleMania since WrestleMania 23. That was only because I was injured."
"Oh. Wow."
"This is going to be super hard for me if I don't get pregnant soon. Royal Rumble is in Saint Louis too. Not being able to compete at one of the biggest pay per views of the year that's also in my hometown is going to wreck me if I'm not pregnant by then."
"You still have time though."
"Like a little over a month. I may not be pregnant by then."
"I see your point. I think you should talk to Randy about it and try to get your mind off it or something."
"I'm not doing that until after New Year's at least. I don't want a potential disagreement to ruin the holidays for us. Have you seen how Eve and Cody have been?"
"I have. You should talk to him after that though."
"I know."
