SmackDown Filming: December 20, 2011

I looked at Eve as we were backstage together. "How is it almost Christmas?"

Eve shrugs. "I have no idea."

"It's too crazy for me."

"Yeah, you got married this year and decided to try to have children. What's 2012 gonna have in store?"

"Who knows?"

"Are you doing alright?"

"I really have this whole wanting to get back in the ring thing on my mind."

"I had a feeling that you kept thinking about it. Are you worried about telling Randy about how you feel about it?"

"I'm almost certain there's going to be a huge disagreement over it."

"So are you waiting to bring it up then?"

"Yeah, I'm going to wait until after the holidays are over before mentioning this to Randy. If I end up pregnant beforehand, then I'll be fine. If I'm not though, I don't want to sit out on things."

"That sounds like a good plan. I wish you good luck with talking to him about it though."

"Thanks. I don't think that there's a single way that Randy doesn't take me saying something like that to him in a bad way though."

"You don't think so?"

"I don't. He wants to have a baby with me so much. I want it too, but I think it's a bigger priority to him than it is to me. We haven't even been married for a year yet. I'm not trying to rush things along since we're married now."

"I understand what you mean, but talk to him the second that the holidays are over."

"I will."

I watch from a monitor in Catering as Randy and Wade continue their brawl from the stage to backstage. I tense up in worry about Randy's health just as Ted joins me.

"Are you alright?" Ted asks.

"I'm just worried about Randy's health." I reply. "That's all."

"Are you sure? Man, that looked painful."

"I'm sure. Oh my gosh, Randy is using a hose on Wade."

"I'm getting really amused by this."

"Me too."

"Ew. Gross. That poor garbage can didn't deserve being dumped on Wade like that. That poor garbage can."

I laugh. "I think Randy has this under control."

"Looks like it. I'm getting way too much satisfaction from this, Rissa."

"Yeah, me too honestly. I can't stand Wade."

"Oh. Look at this. Randal is getting risky here."

"I agree, but he would give you so much shit if he heard you say Randal."

"Randal isn't here right now."

I roll my eyes. "Whatever, Ted."

"I'm not wrong."

I gasp as Randy RKOs Wade on the roof of a car. "Damn."

"That's your crazy husband."

"I know that. He just better haven't damaged whoever's car that is."

"That's what you're worried about?"

"Yeah, I don't want to have to pay for damages, Ted. That's not our car."

"No kidding. You two have a tour bus."

"A fantastic tour bus, honestly. He better not have damaged that car though."

"It looks fine to me."

"It better be."

"I'm sure it will."

"I'm going to go now, so I can find out if it's damaged at all."

"Okay. Bye."

I was heading towards the locker-room when I saw Cody. I didn't see him around much backstage anymore, and he was usually not alone when I did see him around. It felt weird not really talking to him anymore honestly.

"Rissa…" Cody says just as I walk past him. "Can we talk for a little bit?"

I stop to look at Cody. "Um…sure. What's up?"

"What am I doing wrong with Eve?"

"I don't think it's my place to say anything."

"Please, Rissa. It's almost Christmas, and she doesn't even want to spend it with me."

"Have you considered why she doesn't want to spend it with you?"

"I know we haven't been on the best terms lately, but I still want to spend time with her."

"Cody, you two have been fighting pretty much constantly for months."

"She doesn't listen to me when I try to talk to her."

"Do you listen to her when she tries to talk to you?"

"I do."

"Do you really, Codes? She's trying to get you to go to couples therapy to fix your relationship."

"I…you know about that?"

"I was the one who suggested it. Listen, Cody, I'm not getting in the middle of your problems, but I think the therapy really is your best option. There's nothing wrong with going to therapy. If you want to make things better before Christmas, my suggestion would be to show her that you want to fix things too."

"Thanks, Rissa. By the way, I'm sorry about being how I've been for the past few months. I took my name off of the lawsuit, and I heard that it may not even be a thing anymore. Eve mentioned to me that John Laurinaitis made comments about your weight. I can't support a man who's like that. I'm really sorry, and I'll be apologizing to the others as well."

"I'll accept your apology. I can't say anything for the others though. Just take my advice about Eve, Cody."

Cody nods. "I will. Thanks, Rissa."

I smile. "No problem."

I look at Randy as I enter the locker-room. "How much damage did you do to that car, Randy?"

Randy shrugs. "The car is fine. Wade is what got damaged."

"Are you sure? Because I thought you'd be charged with at least a little bit of damages."

"Nope, I'm all good."

"Good because I didn't want to have to pay damages."

"We won't have any damages at all, Rissa. Relax."

"I'm relaxed."

"Something's bothering you."

"I ran into Cody on my way back here."

"You did?"

"Yeah, he apologized to me actually. You should be expecting one soon too."

"How did he apologize?"

"He said he was sorry and wasn't on the lawsuit anymore. Then, he also said he couldn't support a man who makes comments like what John Laurinaitis said about my weight."

"Alright, anything else?"

"He's trying to fix things with Eve."

"That's good."

"It is. I gave him the best advice that I could."

"That's all you can do, Rissa. It's the holidays. Let them worry about them, and we'll worry about us. The masquerade ball is in three days."

I nod. "I'll just worry about us. I just hope things work out between those two."

"Me too."
