With the call over, Kerry sits back in her chair and relaxes a moment. She takes in what she's learned and lets it settle in her head. Above all, the conversation was good. But, of course the one thing that sticks in her craw is the inevitable drama that Shonda is certainly going to cause for them on set.

Despite them both being completely over how childish she can be, and them both being over the joy of doing the show. She is still in wonderment about just how bad the next season or so for the show will be. She takes a breath as she thinks, how much worse could it possibly get? Then she considers how Shonda's pettiness knows no bounds. So whatever it is, it's sure to be diabolical.

Somehow knowing it's all because of her reignited feud with her husband. A feud that didn't have to start, but is definitely on and popping as they used to say in her day. With her mind continuing to wander, she recalls how upset he was when he called her, telling her the details of what happened during their conversation.

He called her the night before he returned home. He was furious, she cant remember when she'd ever heard him be so angry. Right away he said Shonda called him reading him the riot act for not coming to the set, as if he hadn't called and left her a voicemail. A voicemail she claimed she never received. But, that lie fell apart when he told her he copied the voicemail he sent her, and sent the same one to Dave.

It was when he caught her in that lie, she lost it. She then accused him of exaggerating his father's health issue, citing if it were serious enough for him to be there. He wouldn't have gone alone. To say that set him off is an understatement; the colorful response he gave her is one she's certain would make Richard Pryor and Red Foxx blush.

She shakes her head as she thinks, her husband can truly verbally spar with the best of them. And because he's often underestimated, it's always a pleasure to see people's faces when they feel his wrath. She would've given anything to see the look on her face after their interaction. As well as the look on her face when she found out she was being reprimanded by the network, due to Tony reporting her to the higher ups.

Yep. That's why Shonda's fighting mad right now at her husband. Although his response was purely emotional, she understands his reasoning and for that she can't fault him. Even if she would've liked him to use better language. And give her some type of advanced notice of what he was doing beforehand. She completely understood his position.

Suddenly, her thoughts are interrupted when her phone buzzes. She looks at it and sees the delivery truck has arrived. And from the security footage she's looking at, she sees her husband is diligently helping the drivers bring the items into the house. She smiles at him, seeing how helpful he insists on being, even when he doesn't have to do it. Ready to rejoin the present, she decides to go help him organize everything. After all, they're a team; they're in this together.

Thank you for reading my fan fiction tale. Nope, no cliffhanger on this installment. There's a first time for everything LOL. In the next installment we find out what twist Shonda has waiting or Olitz when they return to filming. And, we also find out what shake up is coming for Shonda that she doesn't see coming as a direct reflection of her actions. Additionally, we get to see the holidays with our favorite couple, and their adorable plus one.
