Let's get this party started! I hope you like it! However, warnings of dark themes, like rape. So if you're not interested, please skip, I'll have a warning in bold font.
"I mean, if it's not too much trouble." Coulson said.
"No, no, it's fine." Steve Rogers assured him.
"It's a vintage set. It took me a couple of years to collect them all. Near mint, slight foxing around the edges, but..." Phil rambled.
"We got a hit on Miss Stark and the other guy you're looking for." An agent yelled.
Coulson perked up and ran over to the computer.
"Location?" Coulson became serious.
"It doesn't look like they're hiding, sir. Their facial features match up by at least seventy nine percent. They're in Stuttgart, Germany." The agent answered.
Stuttgart, Germany?
Coulson looked at the monitor to see the footage on the computer. Loki had an arm wrapped around Tyra's waist. It was almost hard to see at first because Tyra seemed to have a neutral expression on her face, but you could also see the look of fear in her eyes. Looking more closely at the image as it zoomed in, Loki appeared to have a good grip on her, she was being forced to go with him. Re-evaluating the image, he notices something important regarding her eyes. They were normal in color, didn't have a blue-ish glow to them.
She wasn't being controlled. She's being held there against her will.
"She doesn't even look like the bad guy type." The agent commented.
"That's because she's being held captive." Coulson glared at him.
"Oh...right...sorry, I just forgot is all." The agent blushed in embarrassment and went back to work.
"Captain, you're up." Fury nodded at Steve Rogers.
"I'm gonna let Stark know we found his daughter." Coulson informed Fury.
"Is she?...you know..." Fury asked.
"Under his mind control? Based off of what you told me, she's not. She's being held against her will. You can see it in her eyes." Phil informed his superior.
Nick Fury nodded and sat down knowing this was gonna get messy.
Especially if Stark is involved...
Tyra's POV
I knew that the only reason we arrived to fucking Germany of all places was to get Iridium for the CMS device for the Tesseract. What I didn't understand, was why I was with Loki attending some gala. However, thinking ahead, it might be my only chance to escape Loki and figure out what that scepter truly is.
I needed to get Clint and Selvig from Loki's control. But how...I need that scepter.
"You're awfully quiet. Have something on your mind, darling?"
I'm brought out of my thoughts as I walk with Loki, matching his elegant suit as I wear a dark emerald silk dress that Loki conjured up out of thin air hours earlier. Loki has his arm around my waist, and his hold tightens when I don't answer him immediately.
"Why are you doing this?" I finally ask.
Loki's surprised by the dejected tone in my voice, and finds himself pausing before we get to the gala. He places a hand on my cheek and leans in.
"Because, you Midgardians were made to be ruled."
God, he's such an asshole.
"You're so full of shit." I glare at him. "What's your actual reason?"
"You forget to whom you speak to."
To what? 'My future king'? The fuck is this, the Lion King? He's like Scar every time he opens his mouth.
Out of the corner of my eye, the hand that remains on my cheek begins to glow. Suddenly, my entire body convulses with pain.
"I can do whatever I want to you. Yet you still feel obligated to defy me at every turn."
I let out a silent sob as I'm paralyzed on the spot.
"I thought you would have learned something by now. Defy me, and you will be punished. However..." Loki smirked evilly.
Then, the glowing aura around his hand changes color, and now, I feel extremely hot.
"Should you obey, darling...then you will be rewarded. I rather like you Tyra. I don't want to punish you, but if I must, then I absolutely will."
I feel so...hot...his touch feels almost nice? What the fuck?
"W- -what are you doing t- -to me?" I whimpered.
(PLEASE SKIP AHEAD IF YOU'RE NOT A FAN OF DARK AND SUGGESTIVE THEMES, LIKE RAPE, SEXUAL THEMES, MENTAL MANIPULATION, ETC.)
Loki gently pushes me backwards, his hand never leaving my face. When my back is against a random wall to the building, Loki presses his body to mine, grinning madly before pressing kisses to my neck. Suddenly, I feel like I'm drowning in his presence and just want more. His free hand moves swiftly until my dress becomes bunched up around my hips.
I gotta get out of this, it's wrong, it's so fucking wrong- -
"L- -Loki..." I gasp.
His body jolts against me when I have a hand in his hair and grip it tightly. He lets out a loose groan and presses his hips into mine. The bulge underneath his trousers is very noticeable and I can't help but grind into it after Loki's got my leg around his waist.
"Say my name." He murmurs into my ear.
"Loki." I moan.
"Again."
He takes his hand from my face and gives a gentle wave of his hand. Suddenly, I feel something boiling deep in my lower belly and scream. I'd never experienced something so nice before, but with Loki I felt so ashamed that I was starting to enjoy this feeling. When something caresses my lower lips from underneath my dress, I shudder against Loki and tighten my hold in his hair as I press my lips to his ear.
"Loki..." I breathe out.
The sensation in my vaginal walls and clit becomes stronger, it's almost an invisible force that's moving at Loki's command the more I say his name.
"Loki." I moan again.
"Very good, pet. Again." He whispers against my temple.
I can feel something beginning to build up, and my hips start moving of their own accord against Loki.
"L- -Loki!"
Finally, Loki presses his lips to mine, slipping his tongue in my mouth and adding to the pleasure.
It feels so fucking wrong but so right at the same time...
With another wave of his hand, my knees practically buckle, and without Loki's steady arm around me, I'm sure I would have fallen.
"Almost there, darling." Loki moans hotly into my ear. "Now...say my name again. Don't stop."
Within minutes, I'm chanting Loki's name like a prayer as he holds me against the wall, the hand that was using magic on me, now moving to trace my lower lips as his fingers move past my soaked underwear. Then he shoves two of his digits in my vagina, and I cry out against his lips as they pump in and out of me, stroking my vaginal walls.
"L- -Loki! What are you d- -doing to me?! S- -stop." I cry out.
Loki merely smirks before he gently kneads my bottom lip with his teeth. I mewl against him when his fingers stretch and curl inside me again. He gently nibbles on my earlobe until he growls lowly.
"Now cum." He orders.
Suddenly, it's as if a dam bursts inside me, and I'm blinded by scorching hot ecstasy as his lips move against mine. Every single sense: sound, touch, sight, taste are beyond overwhelming. When I come down from my high, I feel Loki's hips stutter into mine as well. I don't say anything as Loki peppers gentle kisses along my face and neck. I'm confused beyond belief, unsure of what I was experiencing and with my enemy. Finally, I notice that we're on a rooftop of the building holding the gala.
(STORY KICKS UP AFTER THIS! ALL GOOD FROM HERE!)
"How did we- -"
"I moved us here so we would have more privacy." Loki mutters against my neck. "With the way you were moving and gasping for breath, you had me rutting like a youngling, something I hadn't done for centuries."
Loki pulls back and licks his lips as his eyes search my body.
"As ravishing as you look right now, we have more important matters to attend to, Tyra. So...let us make way."
Loki mutters something under his breath, waving his hand again. In seconds, our appearances were as elegant and classy as before. Minutes pass and I feel too tired to argue or fight, as I let him loop his arm around my waist and walk into the building. We make our way down the stairs, trying to act casually until Loki spotted a guard nearby. As Loki flipped his cane over, the guard noticed us. Before he can say or do anything, Loki used his cane and basically clubs the guards head in. My eyes widened as Loki pulled me along with him to get to the doctor we were after. People started screaming as Loki located our intended target and flipped him onto the marble table.
Oh god, he's really going to go through with it isn't he?
Loki pulled out an optical torture device and plunges it into the doctor's eyeball.
He went through with it...
I winced as the man was struggling on the table and slowly began to lose consciousness. Loki glanced around at the people that began to run out of the museum in panic and fear.
I swear I can see him smiling.
"You're really getting some kind of kick out of this aren't you?" I folded my arms and turned away.
Looking at something as graphic as that was just...ewwww...
"You could say that." Loki cracked a small smile.
After the device turned off on its own, Loki grabbed my hand as we made our way out of the museum. There was chaos everywhere, people were running around frantically, police cars were coming from all directions and being flipped over with Loki's magic.
It was absolute madness.
It was almost hard to tell at first, but Loki's cane slowly formed into his scepter as his outfit was also materializing into his gold armor and helmet. Loki cast illusions and copies of himself around the area trying to trap people in a circle.
"Kneel before me." Loki commanded.
People ignored him trying to find a way to escape.
"I said, KNEEL!" Loki roared.
Everyone froze in their spots and slowly did as he said. Loki smiled and wrapped an arm around my waist.
I need to get away somehow. Stop him now that I have a clear head.
"Is this not simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled...and in the end, you will always kneel." Loki said.
It was almost as if Loki's threats meant nothing, as an elderly gentleman slowly got up, and stood tall, staring down Loki.
I didn't think he feared death at all.
"Not to men like you." He spoke up.
Damn...now that's a man I can look up to.
"There are no men like me." Loki chuckled.
"There are always men like you." He told him.
Loki tried to seem unaffected by this man's words, but I could tell deep down, he was furious that someone dared to oppose him.
But then again, did he think we would all go down with a fight?
"Look to your elder, people. Let him be an example." Loki raised his scepter and it began to glow.
Oh no.
Finally, and hesitantly, I grab at Loki's arm and shove it high as hard as I could. The look on his face is terrifyingly scary, but I try to hold my ground.
"I- -I won't let you do this!" I stutter.
"Oh really?" Loki smirks.
Why am I suddenly regretting this?
"You have some nerve, girl." Loki hissed at me. "I shall have to punish you."
Loki muttered something under his breath and blasted a different kind of energy at me. I quickly pressed the button of the band attached to my arm, switching on the holographic shield and miraculously deflecting the purple blast.
"How dare you defy me!" Loki shouted angrily.
Feeling much better at my chances of survival with my tech, I start firing lasers from my bracelet. Several of them hit Loki, and I feel incredibly victorious, but I try not to get smug knowing what he's capable of. Loki finally stopped what he was doing and smiled deviously as he waved his hand. I felt something slippery on my wrist and noticed that my Captain America shield bracelet had turned into a snake. I screamed and threw the snake away from me.
God damn it! My holographic shield is gone! I worked so hard on that! I've had that thing since before dad was kidnapped in Afghanistan! Aw man! I just made some upgrades on it too!
"You can no longer hide behind your shield, Tyra Stark!" Loki screams. "Now, prepare to suffer you foolish woman!"
With nothing to protect myself with, I close my eyes as the purple energy finally hits me.
Well shit. It's like I'm being stabbed with a sharp blade everywhere at once.
I wanted nothing more than to scream, but for some reason nothing came out at all, I was literally choking on my own sobs. My entire body felt like it was on fire, but when looking at my skin I knew I wasn't literally on fire. I didn't even notice as Loki started making his way over towards me, with his scepter aimed at me, that I finally noticed him.
"This, people, is what happens when you try to act brave." Loki said.
Shit...I'm gonna die for real this time aren't I?!
I clenched my eyes shut tightly awaiting for that final hit, but felt nothing. After slowly opening my eyes, I saw a handsome and well built blonde man in a spangly outfit hovering over me. I got glimpse of his shield that protected us from Loki and I looked at the mystery man in surprise. He finally stood up and I finally got a good look at his outfit. For a minute, I thought I'd died and had gone to heaven. It was one of my idols, one of my role models in the flesh.
It's a Captain America shield- -WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE! That can't really be him can it?! I thought he died over seventy years ago?! It can't be...
Captain America!
He stares at Loki defiantly, ready to stop the demigod at any cost.
"You know, the last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing." He finally spoke.
"The soldier, a man out of time." Loki glared at Captain America.
Wait...Loki knows about Captain America? Did he know he was coming?
I could hear a plane of some sort fly over us. Above us all, I saw a SHIELD quinjet with a machine gun aimed at Loki.
"Loki, drop the weapon and stand down." A voice spoke into the loud speaker.
The crowd at this point begins to run away from the scene knowing that shit was about the hit the fan relatively speaking. I nearly sigh in relief as I recognized the voice from the quinjet speaker.
Natasha!
Loki grows furious and begins to shoot blue energy at the quinjet. Natasha quickly maneuvers the quinjet and avoids the blast in time. Captain America uses this time to throw his shield at Loki. The two began to battle it out.
If I wasn't in so much pain, I'd literally be jumping with excitement right now. CAPTAIN AMERICA IS IN THE HOUSE!
"Shit..." I cursed.
I winced at the pain in my body as I made a move to get up from the ground. I was surprised to see that most of my dress was still intact, not that it really mattered anyway. After managing to stand up, I saw an unconscious police officer on the ground and wobbled over to him, my legs shaking the entire time. I grabbed a gun near the unconscious officer and began to aim at Loki when I noticed that he was knocking Captain America off of his feet.
Cap needs help and fast.
"Kneel." Loki held his scepter to his head.
"Not today!" He shouts.
The captain jumped right back up and kicked the scepter away from him.
My vision blurred and I fell to my knees.
What the hell did Loki do to me?
I felt my arms shaking as I tried to aim at Loki. Seeing my opportunity, I finally pulled the trigger. I managed to graze Loki's shoulder and Cap took that as an opportunity to kick him in the gut. I kept shooting at Loki even as I started to hear ACDC's 'Shoot To Thrill' song play from the quinjet speaker.
Dad...dad's here?
I faintly smiled knowing that my dad had finally arrived. Iron Man shoots a repulsor beam at Loki and sends him flying back several feet before landing on the ground making his dramatic entrance. He aimed his hands right at Loki ready to shoot at him again.
"Make your move, Reindeer Games."
Loki slowly raises his hands in surrender and his golden armor and helmet materialize away. With that Iron Man lowered his arms.
"Good move."
After several seconds of silence...
"Mr. Stark..." Captain America nodded his head at Iron Man.
"Captain. Now if you'll excuse me, I just need to see- -"
When Iron Man tries to move past Captain America towards my direction, the World War II veteran stops him.
"Watch over Loki, I'll go get her."
I felt my arms shaking and still held the gun up and aimed it for Loki's head in case he made anymore surprise attacks.
"It's okay...you can put the gun down Miss Stark...it's all over."
My arms continued shaking as he hesitantly put his hand on me and slowly put my arm down. He gently pried the gun out of my hand and tossed it away from us as I blink away tears.
"You're a really brave woman, Miss Stark." Captain America smiled at me in attempt to calm me down.
Holy shit...my idol is talking to me. If I wasn't shaking like a crack addict, I'd hug him.
I tried getting over the initial shock of what just happened and finally glanced over at Captain America.
"Call me Tyra." I mumbled.
Captain America put his arms below me and picked me up bridal style. I felt my eyes fluttering shut as he began to carry me over to the quinjet that landed nearby.
"Cap, you mind steering the quinjet? I need to check on Tyra. Get some morphine in her while I'm at it. She's not looking too good." Natasha got out from the pilot seat.
Cap nodded and sat in the pilot seat, taking control over the quinjet for a minute. Iron Man was dragging Loki into the quinjet by one hand as the quinjet takes off. After Loki was strapped down in one of the seats and handcuffed, Dad came over to my side as Natasha hooked up an IV into my hand.
"I don't have the necessary equipment to stitch that gash on her arm, so for now, I'll have to keep it wrapped up tight." Natasha told Tony.
Tony nodded in reply as Natasha went back over and took over the quinjet again.
"Tyra..."
I slowly opened my eyes, feeling disoriented when my eyes were exposed to a bright light. Dad's already got the helmet off, his head moving down to rest on my body, as if to confirm that I'm actually here with him. I lazily reach for his hand, and give it a reassuring but gentle squeeze.
"I'm here...I'm here now." Dad's voice cracks. "I fucking love you too. I'm sorry I forgot to say it before you left, but I love you...so much."
With morphine coursing through my veins, I find it extremely difficult not to fall asleep and for the sake of my father, I try so hard to stay awake.
"...don't...don't get upset over nothin'...ya' big lug..." I slurred.
I gave my dad a weak smile, but it was enough for him to grin back at me.
"I can't help but get worried...how many kids do you think I have?" Tony joked.
"Well ya' slept with a lot of women...I could hav' siblin's for all I...I know." I could feel my eyes shutting.
"Get some rest...you'll be at the helicarrier soon." Dad smiled and kissed my forehead.
I let sleep take me away and finally shut my eyes.
When I wake up, I'm praying that being rescued wasn't a dream, that I'm away from Loki. I immediately recall the intimate moment on the rooftop and feel disgust course throughout my entire body. All I want to do is hide in a corner where I won't be seen or heard from again, but another part of me wants to find Loki and kill him myself. Pepper had always told me that those types of intimate acts, like sex, were always meant to be shared with someone you cared for and that it was meant to be consensual. Loki was sinister and evil, and I was too afraid to push him away. For that, I was disgusted with myself, wishing I would have done more to stop him. I carefully take out the IV attached to my arm, and get out of the room I'm in, wobbling on my legs at first before I lean against the wall to balance myself. There's SHIELD personnel outside my door trying to talk to me, but I ignore their shouts of worry. When I make it to the deck, I can hear Fury's voice and see live security footage of Loki's current cell.
"Thirty thousand feet, straight down, in a steel trap. You get how that works?!" Fury yelled.
Fury pointed at Loki
"Ant."
And then pointed at the button that would release the cage down below.
"Boot."
"It's an impressive cage, not built, I think, for me." Loki smiled.
"Built for something a lot stronger than you." Fury mumbled lowly.
"Oh, I've heard." Loki chuckled.
Loki looked straight into the camera and I got this weird feeling that he knew I was in the room somehow.
"The mindless beast, makes play he's still a man. How desperate are you that you call upon such lost creatures to defend you?"
"How desperate am I? You threaten my world with war, you steal a force that you can't hope to control, you talk about peace, and you kill cause it's fun. You have made me very desperate...you might not be glad that you did." Fury glared at him.
"It burns you to have come so close. To have the Tesseract. To have power, unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all mankind to share? And then to be reminded of what real power is."
Loki's smile fades before he glares deeply at Fury. Nick smiled in satisfaction before he began making his way out of the room.
"Well let me know if 'real power' wants a magazine or something..."
"Is that woman alive by the way?" Loki suddenly asked.
Nick Fury froze in his spot before coming back over to Loki's cage.
Loki was asking about me? Why?
"As a matter of fact, Agent Stark is alive. I bet you're so heartbroken that she was hurt right?" Fury asked sarcastically.
"Perhaps...I can tell you for certain that she is no mortal though. It was no wonder she was able to survive. I figured it out for myself what she truly is...I must say I was quite surprised at first...it took me a while before I finally saw it." Loki smirked knowing he caught Nick's interest.
Everyone grew silent and stared at me like I was a newly discovered secret.
"What are you talking about?" Nick glared at him.
"Tyra Stark's biological mother is not of this world. I mean her first name is after all a norse name. Tyra translates as 'God' in norse does it not?" Loki laughed at Fury's reaction.
"And just why are you telling me this?" Fury tried not to look interested.
Loki didn't answer, but simply looked straight into the camera again.
"Because I know that infuriating woman is listening..." Loki smirked smugly.
Fury finally left without another word. Maria Hill shut off the feed and everyone tried taking in the information that was shared. Tears fill my eyes at the image of Loki smiling straight at me through the camera and immediately I'm filled with anger.
"He really grows on you doesn't he?" The curly brunette man smiles faintly.
When he glances back and realizes I'm here, he grows uncomfortable immediately, but he gets up from his chair knowing very well the 'condition' I was in.
"Hi Tyra, I'm Bruce. Bruce Banner." He introduces.
Bruce coaxes me to sit down in an empty chair next to his, and I reluctantly comply.
"Why the hell didn't anyone alert us that she was awake?!" Natasha snapped.
Natasha's at my side in an instant, already able to tell that my time with Loki was traumatic, and probably wanted to speak with me alone about it. She glares at the SHIELD agents standing awkwardly at the door before turning her attention to me.
"Tyra. Hey, how are you feeling? Better?" Natasha lowers her voice.
I remain silent, not knowing what to say, but give her a small nod in response. I can already tell that she sees right through my lie, and can instantly pick up from my behavior that I was definitely not okay. Across the table, I spot Steve Rogers without the Captain America mask but still in his costume/gear. Then, at the very end of the table is a long haired blonde that I immediately remember from my dreams.
But at this point, Loki's confirmed that they're not just mere dreams.
"Thor." I barely uttered.
Suddenly, everyone's eyes are on me, Thor included. Thor observes me before walking over, curious and also intrigued.
"How do you know of me, young maiden?" Thor asked.
I find myself speechless, my face burning up when recalling the vision of him.
"I had a uh...a vision of us meeting." I hesitantly reply.
At this, Thor's interest is piqued even further. He gives me a polite but also charming smile before he grabs my hand and kisses it.
"Thor Odinson, a pleasure to meet you in person, milady. And you are?"
"I- -I'm Tyra...Tyra Stark." I answered.
Thor's face falls a bit at this, almost looking remorseful. I gently pry my hand from him, feeling uncomfortable from the touch.
"I am truly sorry, for whatever pain my brother has inflicted upon you, Lady Tyra. He was not always this way."
Thor's expression was sincere, and I can't help but blink away more tears. I was just filled with so much anger and sadness, and just merely nod as to not cause a scene no matter how much I want to scream. It's probably several long silent filled minutes before we all get back on track to the more important matters at hand.
"Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor, what's his play?" Steve asked.
"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard or any world known. He wants to lead them against your people. They will win him the Earth...in return, I suspect, for the Tesseract." Thor answered.
"An army? From outer space?" Steve clarified.
"So he needs another portal. That's what he needed Tyra Stark and Erik Selvig for am I right?" Bruce glanced at me.
I nodded in confirmation.
"Selvig?" Thor asked again.
"He's an astrophysicist." Bruce said.
"He's a friend." Thor looked defensive.
"Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of our own." Natasha spoke up.
"Why didn't he put Tyra under the spell too?"
Bruce glanced over at me again, but suspiciously this time as if I was hiding something.
"Why are you all looking at me like that?" I averted my eyes.
"Because you're the only one that's not under mind control?" Bruce raised an eyebrow.
"I don't know what you want me to tell you guys.." I sighed.
"Well you can start with my last question." Bruce suggested.
"The asshole liked playing with my mind, he liked scaring me, he thought of me as some kind of challenge. I really don't know why he didn't use the scepter on me either." I glared at Bruce.
"I honestly wanna know why Loki let us take him, he's not leading any army from here." Steve said.
"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is bag full of cats. You can smell crazy on him." Bruce leaned back in his seat.
"You have no idea..." I grumbled.
"I don't care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard and he is my brother." Thor glared at Bruce.
Finally, the anger finally showed as I struggle to stand up and glare at Thor Odinson. That's when Natasha quickly intervenes before I get a word in, and I can also feel slight irritation and anger from her directed at Thor as well.
"He also killed eighty people in two days." Natasha mentioned.
"...he's adopted..."
I would have laughed at that statement and especially in the way Thor said it, but I knew now wasn't particularly a good time to be laughing.
"Iridium...what did they need Iridium for?" Bruce thought aloud.
I opened my mouth to answer Bruce's question, but could feel my throat tighten up. I put a hand to my throat befor/e massaging it gently.
What the hell? That's weird.
"It's a stabilizing agent. Means the portal won't collapse on itself, like it did at SHIELD." Tony walked in.
Dad mumbled something to Agent Coulson as they walked in together, before he turned back over to us.
"No hard feelings, point break. You've got a mean swing." Tony patted Thor's shoulder.
Did I miss something with those two?
"Also, it means that the portal can open as wide, and stay open as long, as Loki wants." Dad turned over to the crew. "Uh, raise the mid-mast! Ship the top sails! That man is playing GALAGA!" He pointed at some random agent. "Thought we wouldn't notice, but we did..." Tony covered his eye and glanced around the room. "How does Fury do this?" He asked.
"He turns." Maria Hill simply replied.
"Sounds exhausting. Well the rest of the materials, Agent Barton can get his hands on pretty easily. Only major component he needs is a power source. A high energy density, something to kick start the cube." Dad finished.
"When did you become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics?" Agent Hill raised an eyebrow.
"Last night." He smiled smugly. "The packet, Selvig and Tyra's notes, The Extraction of Theories papers, am I the only one who did the reading?!" He looked at everyone in disbelief.
Ha...dad actually did reading for this? That's surprising. He usually just wings it.
"Does Loki need any particular kind of power source?" Steve spoke up.
"He's got to heat the cube to at least 120 Kelvin just to break through the Coulomb barrier." Bruce said.
"Unless, Selvig or Tyra had figured out how to stabilize the quantum tunneling effect." Tony smiled.
Does dad even know that I'm right here?
"Well, if he could do that, he could achieve Heavy Ion Fusion at any reactor on the planet." Bruce added.
"Finally, someone who speaks English." Dad smiled.
"Is that what just happened?" Steve mumbled.
I can't help but let out a dry chuckle after hearing Steve's little comment.
"It's good to meet you Dr. Banner. Your work on anti-electron collisions is unparalleled. And I'm a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into a giant green raging monster." Tony added.
"Thanks..." He smiled politely.
"Dr. Banner is here to track down the Cube, I was hoping you and your daughter could help him." Fury arrived.
"My daughter is injured and you want her to work?" Tony glared at Nick.
"Well I know that Tyra is just like her father and can't stand to sit down for more than five minutes." Nick smirked knowingly.
"Well...he's right...I'll give him that..." I muttered softly.
"Well let's start with that stick of his. It may be magical, but it works an awful lot like a HYRDA weapon." Steve spoke up.
At the mention of this, I perk up and try to answer Steve's question.
"Technically it is." I said.
Everyone's eyes are on me once again. I feel uncomfortable, but I try to roll with it.
"HYDRA had the Tesseract in World War II. That's what they were using against the Allied Forces." I informed everyone.
"And how did SHIELD get ahold of the Tesseract exactly?" Bruce glances around at us suspiciously.
"You can thank Howard Stark for that." I grumbled.
Dad frowns at the mention of his father, and folds his arms as a serious expression forms on his face.
"When Captain America saved the country, and the world, and went down- -" I averted my gaze from Rogers. "Howard Stark spent his resources trying to find Captain Rogers after the war ended. He unintentionally found the Tesseract instead."
"I remember now..." Steve mutters. "Seeing the Tesseract actually..."
Our eyes locked.
"When I was facing the Red Skull, he grabbed the cube and he...he vanished. Then the Tesseract melted through the floor, out of the plane before I had to..."
Interesting...
"Well I'd like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I know into his personal flying monkeys." Fury added.
"Monkeys? I do not understand..." Thor looked confused.
"I do!" Steve blurted out. "I...I understood the reference..." He blushed.
Tony rolled his eyes.
"So is there anything else you'd like to add Agent Stark? About your time with Loki?" Nick asked.
At first, I was silent because the subject was still sore for me, but then, when I tried even mentioning anything regarding Loki's plans, it felt as if my throat was closing up and couldn't breathe. I put a hand to my throat again, coughing to clear my throat.
"I...I can't." I breathed out.
Everyone, my father included, begin to look at me suspiciously.
"Are you refusing to give us information about Loki's plans?" Nick looked furious.
"It's not like that, sir. I literally can't tell you."
"Is he threatening you?" Natasha asked. "Tyra, you can tell us- -"
Thor storms back over to where I'm sitting, and I get up as I'm prepared to run or fight the God in front of me. Thor's got his hands on my shoulders, firmly keeping me in my spot as he observes me.
"Speak." He ordered.
I'm frightened enough to do as Thor demands, and try to speak about Loki's plans, but all you can hear is the faint sound of my gasping for air.
"It appears that Loki has cast a spell on Lady Stark. She speaks the truth about not being able to tell us of my brothers plans."
"Was that what that purple energy was?" I asked him.
"Perhaps it was. I do not know much of magic. I focused on being a warrior in Asgard while I was a child. Loki took on magic and was taught the best by our mother."
Ha. Loki's a momma's boy.
"So Loki basically planned this all out?" Bruce asked. "That's lovely, the one person who knows everything can't tell us a thing of what Loki is up to." He sighed in frustration.
As Thor releases me, I sit back down and grab a piece of paper along with a pen.
"Fucking magic." I grumbled under my breath. "What if I tried writing out Loki's plans?"
"You could give it a shot." Dad said.
Loki had captured Dr. Selvig and I to make him a CMS machine to open- - - -
My eyes widened as my hand glowed and made me scribble on the paper.
"Well...that backfired." I muttered.
"Did your hand just glow?" Steve glanced at my hand in shock.
"It must be apart of the spell..."
Thor folded his arms as he stared at the torn piece of paper.
"Can't we just threaten that maniac and tell him to reverse whatever he did to Tyra?" Dad asked.
"Dad...I'm a liability to Loki. I'm pretty much his only bargaining chip. I should have seen this coming...I'm sorry..." I frowned and shook my head. "I can't believe this is happening..."
Dad comes over, pressing a kiss to my forehead lovingly all the same.
"Well, this is just fantastic!" Dad clapped his hands together. "My daughter is under the influence of some magic and can't tell us everything to spare the time. So Dr. Banner, shall we play?" Dad turned over to Bruce.
"Let's play some." Bruce returned dad's smile.
"I'll see you in the lab sweetheart!" Dad waved at me as he left with Bruce.
I looked down at the paper before crumbling it up and tossing it away angrily.
"I'm sorry..." I sighed. "I really am..." I held my face in my hands. "If only I- -"
"Do not put the blame on yourself, young maiden. Perhaps we can negotiate with my brother and tell him to reverse this spell as your father somewhat suggested." Thor said.
"Like he would do that." I snapped. "Sorry, Thor...I can't help but put the blame on myself. Loki did this, so that you guys can't figure out what he's really up to. But I have a basic idea of what his plans are." I sighed.
I got up and began leaving as I made my way to the lab. On the way to the lab, I was stopped by Steve who grabbed my hand. He blushes and releases my hand as if it's on fire, and I can't help but find it endearing for some reason.
"I'm glad you're up and about, Miss Stark. We were worried about what Loki might have done to you." Steve spoke.
"Thanks." I replied curtly.
"If you don't mind me asking, are you being completely honest about Loki? You kept...struggling to form words, even before the uh...the neck- -" Steve gestured to my throat.
I tense up at Steve's inquisitive question, but I answer truthfully, and shake my head no.
"He uh...he did things to me. I just didn't want to bring it up...in there. Especially in front of my dad." I sigh. "And if you even think about asking what he did to me, I'm gonna just shut that shit down right now because...I'm still trying to fucking process it myself." I blink away tears.
"Hey. It's alright. I wouldn't..." Steve tries to put me at ease. "Sorry, Miss Stark. I didn't mean to upset you."
Finally, I let out a sob, and Steve's face hardens as he immediately pulls me in for a hug. Normally I hated how uncomfortable hugs made me feel, but somehow, Steve's presence made me feel grounded.
"I just...I've never wanted to kill someone so much in my entire life." I cried.
"It's alright, just let it out." Steve mumbles softly.
I can't help but comply, letting the sobs rack out through my entire body as Steve holds me in his arms.
Let me know what you guys thought of the chapter. I wanted to give off a more darker tone in this rewrite. Trying to experiment so to speak.
