SmackDown Filming: January 24, 2012

I look at Randy. "It feels so good to be back."

Randy laughs. "You hold yourself back there, Rissa. You don't return to TV for five more days. This is my night."

"It is your night, Randy, and I'm very happy for you. I'm very happy in general."

"Would that have anything to do with John Laurinaitis being informed that the Board of Directors is questioning his decisions and judgment and putting him under evaluation by Triple H?"

"Maybe it does, Randy. Who knows?"

"Good. Hope he's out sooner than later."

"You and me both. I can't wait to spite him on Sunday."

"I bet, so are Eve, Kelly, and Alicia just letting everyone think that they're still trying to figure out who their Tag Team partner is going to be for Royal Rumble on Sunday?"

"Yeah, that way no one sees it coming."

"Sounds like a pretty good plan."

"It's a fantastic plan for going into Royal Rumble. Are you ready for Wade Barrett tonight?"

Randy grins. "I sure am. I'm going to kick his ass."

"That's good. I'll be supporting you all the way while in guerilla tonight."

"What about after Royal Rumble? Can you support me from ringside after that?"

I kiss Randy. "I think I can do that."

"That's good to hear. As soon as Raw on Monday?"

"If you have a match on Raw, absolutely."

Randy holds me close to him. "Maybe I'll wrestle Dolph Ziggler."

"Then I could take care of Vickie Guerrero."

We both share a laugh.

"Are you nervous about Sunday?"

"Honestly, no. I've beaten every single woman on the opposing team before. It's an Elimination Tag Team match. I can do it again. It's basically like Survivor Series for me since I didn't do anything during that pay per view."

"This is good. Keep up the confidence, Rissa."

Ted walks in. "Why the hell have I not heard from you two in ages?"

"If you would've reached out, we would've answered, Ted." Randy replies. "That's on you."

"Whatever. Will you get me caught up on everything? Because I don't think the friend group fully understands your situation."

"Well, I'm returning tonight. My herniated disc is all healed up. The house was broken into while Rissa was there alone."

I nod. "We've decided to take a break from trying to conceive, so I will be returning to the ring on Sunday. That's supposed to be kept quiet though."

"I understand." Ted pulls me into a hug. "Are you alright after the break in though?"

"I'm fine. I was a bit shaken up at first, but I'm over it."

"That's good to hear. Glad you're alright. Did anything get stolen?"

"Nothing was stolen, and the guy got caught."

"Good. I'll leave you two alone now. Expect questions from our other friends later though. Bye."

"Bye." Randy and I both say to Ted as he leaves.

Randy looks at me. "So what now?"

"Well, I should probably go see Alicia, Kelly, and Eve since this is the only time I'll be able to do that before Sunday." I explain to Randy.

"That would probably be a good idea. See you later. Rissa."

"Bye."

I send Eve a text.

Me: Where would be a good place for our team to talk strategy in private before Sunday?

Eve: I'm already with Kelly and Alicia. We're near Cody's locker-room, so just meet us in there.

Me: On my way

As I walk towards Cody's locker-room, I see Natalya walking through the hall.

"So you decided to actually come to work tonight?" Natalya remarks as we pass each other.

I stop and turn to look at her. "Do you have a problem?"

Natalya smirks at me. "Just surprised that you stopped trying to avoid me and Beth."

"I never was trying to avoid you and Beth."

"Really? Because you were gone from here pretty quickly after the last time you crossed paths with me and Beth."

I roll my eyes. "Trust me, Natalya. I was never avoiding the two of you."

"Not what it seems like to me. You weren't here why? Because your husband was injured and your house was broken into? Those are pretty lame excuses."

I give Natalya a dirty look and get in her face. "You keep running your mouth, Natalya. Karma is a bitch, and I'm not talking about the wrestler. Something's gonna bite you in the ass sooner than later, and I'll be glad to see it happen."

I walk away from Natalya without another word.

I walk into Cody's locker-room. He is in the room as well as Eve, Kelly, and Alicia.

Cody hugs me. "I'm about to head to Catering. Glad to see you though. Are you doing alright?"

I nod. "Yeah, I'm doing fine. Nothing to worry about here."

"Okay. Good. See you later."

"Bye."

I sit down on the couch as Cody exits. "Okay. What's up?"

"Just trying to work details out." Kelly says. "So your house really got broken into?"

"Yes, it did. I was home alone."

"Well, I'm glad you're alright. You look a lot better than you did when Teddy Long sent you home a couple weeks ago."

"Thanks. I just hope people stop bringing up the break in."

"Sorry."

"It's alright. It's not your fault. The news outlets reported on it."

Alicia nods. "We're all just glad you are doing good. Anyway, we were thinking that maybe we keep you out of the ring until Beth gets in, Marissa. You would be the best one to take her on."

"That's fine with me. I just want to wrestle. Natalya did just piss me off on my way here though, so I would prefer to get my hands on her some too."

"We can make that work for you."

"Good. I'm ready to get back in the ring and win some matches."

I watched from guerilla as Wade trash talked about Randy in the ring. Randy held my hand.

I looked over at him. "You'll do great."

Randy nods. "I know."

I kiss Randy. "Go kick his ass."

Randy releases me from his grasp. "Gladly."

I hear voices in my head

They council me

They understand

They talk to me…

Randy makes his entrance. Wade meets him about halfway down the ramp, and the two men brawl. Referees try to separate the two men, but Randy scares them off.

Teddy Long sends wrestlers out to separate Randy and Wade. They get Randy and Wade separated. Randy is in the ring, and Wade is on the ramp. Randy RKOs Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, Trent Barreta, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso. Wade watches Randy with surprise.

Wade is brought backstage and quickly exits guerilla. Randy is brought backstage after, and I pull him into a hug.

"That wasn't a match, but good job." I whisper.

"Thanks, beautiful." Randy replies.

Teddy Long looks at us as he passes by. "Welcome back, you two."
