It was a normal Sunday in the Lancaster household Dr. Lancaster was looking over his patients' files while his youngest Linda was looking over his shoulders asking a million questions. His middle children Lucas, Liam and Leo were watching a cartoon on the T.V, his second eldest Logan was upstairs reading his older brothers college books while said brother was out on the town with friends. Everything was going smoothly until everyone heard a crash from upstairs then a scream. Dr. Lancaster ran up the stairs into his sons' room to see a broken glass everywhere. His son was on the other side of the room trying to get an owl out of his face. Dr. Lancaster quickly tried to grab ahold of the owl but That just turned its attention onto him it was coming at him when he heard his daughter from the doorway yell.

"Hey daddy that bird has a letter in its claws" she pointed to the claws and indeed there was a letter in it. Dr. Lancaster grabbed the letter and the owl stopped trying to attack everyone and flew out the broken window quite pleased with itself. Dr. Lancaster tried to compose himself and walked over to his son and held out a hand to help him up. Logan took the hand gratefully when both of them had finished brushing off most of the glass and Linda had come back with the broom.

They both started to sweep up the glass after a few moments Dr. Lancaster stated/asked "I have never seen any animal act in such a way and last I checked owls were nocturnal" Logan looked equally perplexed. After they had finished cleaning up the glass Logan remembered the letter he looked at his father and said

"Maybe the letter the owl was carrying could lead us to some answers" Dr. Lancaster agreed but before they could open the letter they heard fighting from downstairs. Dr. Lancaster handed Logan the letter and while heaving a sigh went downstairs to break up the fight.

"I wonder who sent this letter and what it is that is so important" Logan wondered aloud thinking his father wouldn't mind he picked back up the letter opener and sliced it open. As he read the letter his eyebrows shot up by the time he had finished his father was back upstairs. Dr. Lancaster saw that Logan had opened the letter without him and had also finished reading it.

"What was inside the envelope Logan" Dr. Lancaster asked.

His son snorted and pushed up his glasses then he said "It is a bunch of hogwash according to this I am a wizard and shall be attending" He paused for a moment angry "make no mistake they are demanding I attend their school" Dr. Lancaster was still surprised at the wizard statement but when he caught up he shared his sons sentiments 'who are these people if they even exist to demand my son to go to their possibly second rate school'.

"Don't worry son even if this-" looking at the name on the letter "Hogwarts does exist if you don't wish to go I will do all in my power to make sure you don't have too". Logan hugged his father which he hadn't done in quite a while at that moment Lincoln his eldest came though the doorway.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO MY WINDOW"
