His supportive response warms her heart, as she replies, "I don't know what i did to deserve you. But, i'm eternally grateful I did it." He grins in response as he pecks her lips, as he responds, "Me too. Took you long enough." She hits him playfully, and they kiss again and again sweetly, as they continue to talk.

Taking advantage of the moment alone to talk; after they clear the lunch dishes and load the dishwasher. He goes to check on Isa, and then they climb into his oversized recliner in the living room, with Josie in her lap, and her lying in his arms. Once comfy, he says, "Isa is out like a light." She smiles as she says, "Yes. if nothing else, she gets her rest." He nods in agreement as he replies, "Well, she needs her beauty rest, hence her getting more beautiful every day." She can't argue with him; their baby girl is absolutely gorgeous, and sometimes she can't believe she's theirs.

As they settle into their moment once more, he says, "I talked to Liz." She looks at him as she asks, "Really? What did you find out?" He responds, "Well, turns out Jane did call her, and she put her on the visitation list. But, she's suspicious of her motive." Knowing him so well, she asks, "Did you tell her about your suspicions of why she wants to see Sam?" He tilts his head, and she smiles as she says, "Please. We both know that's what was on your mind when we hung up with the girls earlier."

He sighs as he says, "True. Would you not say it was confirmation that Jane's up to something?" She nods as she replies. "Yes. I would. The fact that she commented on them being with Sam over the holiday break, and now she wants to go see him. I'm thinking she wants to investigate what's going on a bit closer." He loves how her mind works, because she captured his thoughts perfectly. He adds, "I was thinking the same thing, and so does Liz. She wants to be present when she visits dad. Because she's concerned she's going to say or do something to upset him."

She wishes she could say that's not something she believes she'd do. But, she can't. She's learned over the years how manipulative she can be, when she wants something and doesn't feel that she's getting it.

Returning to the moment, she says, "I can't say I blame her for being concerned. But, how is her being present during the visit going to work? Won't that make matters worse, especially with the girls being there?"

He smiles momentarily, and she asks, "Why are you smiling?" He replies, "Because i literally said the same thing to Liz. It's scary how alike we think." She grins as she replies, "Great minds think alike." He pecks her lips as he says, "Very true my love." She smiles at him as he continues, "At any rate. I talked Liz out of feeling like she had to be there to babysit her during the visitation. Because we all know how well they get along, including dad. And, them being by his bedside together would likely raise his anxiety. Which isn't what we want."

She responds, "True. So do you think she'll be able to stay away?" He replies, "Honestly, I hope so. She wants dad to recover and doesn't want harm to come to him. So it stands to reason she would do what's best for him, verses do what will settle her own feelings." She feels for her, and can't say she wouldn't feel the same way if the shoe was on the other foot. As a sign of hope she says, "Well, on the bright side the nurses will be present. And, I'm sure if they detect any issues with his health due to her visit, they will ask her to leave." He nods as she replies, "That's a fact. I told Liz to just have them pay close attention to him during the time she's there. That way everybody is at peace, and she's not being arrested for assault or murder."

They share a chuckle that settles after a few minutes. And she says, "Babe, we shouldn't joke about that." He shrugs his shoulders as he says, "I know. But sometimes you have to laugh at the things that would ordinarily stress you out, or you'll be way too uptight. Besides, it's just us here. I wouldn't do it in front of anyone else."

She agrees with him and lets him off the hook; she can't exactly hold his feet to the fire on this too much. She laughs at the jokes every time he makes them. So who is she to judge?

In the end, she says, "Well, let's hope all goes well when she visits. When is she supposed to go by there?" He replies, "On wednesday." She responds, "The day before Thanksgiving. Why?" He responds, "My feeling is because she wants to play to the crowd. You know with dad being sick more of the family will be at the house." She takes a breath and shakes her head, as he rubs her back. He knows how annoyed it makes her that Jane seems to come around at the most inopportune times.

The stress that normally builds in her, whenever they talk about her dissipates, due to him rubbing her back. She looks at him as she says, "At least we won't be there to be subjected to her nonsense." He agrees as he responds, "That's certainly what i took from it. Something I'm sure she's not aware of." It then hits her as she looks at him and replies, "Oh wow. She doesn't know we won't be there for Thanksgiving?" He shakes his head as he says, "Nope. Not unless someone else tells her. If she knew, she would've said something when we spoke earlier."

She settles with his response as she says, "That's going to be quite the sight when she makes that realization." He agrees as he replies, "I was thinking the same thing. It's hard to upstage someone when the person you're trying to upstage isn't there." They again share a laugh together that leads to her remembering their conversation with the girls earlier.

She says, "How sweet was talking to the girls earlier?" He smiles as he replies, "It was nice; I miss them." She nods as she says, "Me too. Seeing you with them today really made my heart smile." He grins at her as he responds, "Awe, why babe?" She lovingly says, "Because you're such a great dad. And I can't wait to see those same interactions between you and Isa, and maybe one more."

His facial expression changes from sweet and endearing, to absolutely joyful as he replies, "Wait, what! One more? What does that mean? Are you?" Quickly she says, "No. Not yet. But, today I was kind of thinking maybe i should be, and rather soon."

Her words are like music to his ears as he grabs her into his arms, and she almost shrieks, but she catches herself. He kisses on her sweetly, and she touches his face. He looks into her eyes as he asks, "When do you want to start trying?" She smiles as she responds, "Whenever you want to start. My depo appointment was supposed to be next week, but I can skip it. Or is that too soon?" He smiles as he pecks her lips, as he asks, "Are you kidding? Of course it's not. But I have to ask. Are you sure you want to do this babe? I won't be upset if you want to wait a bit longer." She strokes his face as she says, "No babe. I don't need to wait. Nor do I want to wait. I am sure that I want to have as many babies as possible with you."

Feeling the emotion behind her words is probably the most potent form of foreplay he's ever had with her. Immediately, the heat rises between them. And, they're hormones are off and running, as they both think, no time like the present.
