SmackDown Filming: February 7, 2012

"I've got a grand opportunity for you managing me tonight." Randy says as he enters the locker-room.

"Do you? I'm not competing tonight, so I'm all ears." I reply.

"I'm facing Daniel in tonight's main event."

"I'm there. I'm so there."

"I'm glad. I love having you in my corner."

"You should. I should check to see if Beth has a match tonight. I could make an appearance."

"That would be one hell of an idea."

"I'll have to do it." I hear a knock on the door and open it. "Oh what the hell do you want?"

David Otunga stood across from me. "Nice to see you too. I'm just here to inform you that John Laurinaitis is not getting fired. He is still the Interim General Manager of Raw. He has made a contract signing between you and Beth official for Monday."

"Are you done?"

"Yes, that was all."

"Goodbye." I slam the door in David's face.

Randy looks at me. "Is something wrong?"

"John Laurinaitis is still general manager."

"Seriously? Why?"

"That's something that I'll have to ask the Board of Directors."

"You're going to them?"

"I'm not sure yet. I might. He should've been fired."

"I agree."

"Why can't he just be fired? Ugh."

Randy looked at me. "Rissa, trust me. He'll screw something up again and get fired."

"I hope so. I'm so sick of him."

Randy pulled me to him. "I know, sweetheart. I know."

I sighed as I stood backstage, watching SmackDown from a monitor.

Cody came and stood next to me. "Hey, how are you doing? Haven't had a lot of time to talk to you lately."

I shrug. "Alright, I guess. I'm just hanging out for now."

"You and me both. I'm waiting around for my Tag Team match."

"At least you have a match. I'm managing Randy and may mess with Beth."

"That still sounds fun. Plus, you wrestled last night against Brie."

"You have a point, Rhodes."

"I know. What are you doing for Valentine's Day?"

I laugh. "You're asking the wrong person. I'm just going along with whatever crazy plan Randy has for it."

"I should've expected that answer. He always insists on being the one to plan things."

"You're telling me. I live with him."

"You're also married to him."

"That too. When it comes to dates, he almost always plans them."

"Considering you're married, he must do a fantastic job."

"Trust me. He does. What are you and Eve going to be doing for it?"

"I've got a lot of things planned. Let's just leave it at that."

"Fair enough. I hope it goes well for you two."

"I hope the same for you and Randy."

"Thanks."

"Here is your winner, Beth Phoenix!"

Beth goes to attack Alicia Fox, who had been her opponent for the match. I quickly run down to the ring and hit Beth with a Thesz Press, giving Alicia the opportunity to escape. Referees quickly pull me off of Beth and hold her back from getting to me. They also hold me back after I lunge at Beth.

Beth glares at me. "This is my Divas Championship. It stays with me. It isn't going anywhere."

I glare right back at her. "Actually that's my Divas Championship. You've just been keeping it warm until it comes back to be around my waist, and that'll be sooner than later, Beth. You should know damn well that I will be taking our match at Elimination Chamber very seriously."

"So will I, Marissa. So will I."

Beth exits the ring as her theme song starts to play. My gaze never leaves Beth. She smirks at me before heading backstage.

I hear voices in my head

They council me

They understand

They talk to me…

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Marissa, from Saint Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is the Apex Predator, Randy Orton!"

("Flight of the Valkyries" plays)

"And his opponent from Aberdeen, Washington, weighing in at 210 pounds, he is the World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan!"

Ding! Ding! Ding!

I glanced at Big Show, who was on Commentary, as Randy and Daniel started the match. Randy immediately gained the advantage and pressed Daniel into the corner until the referee forced Randy off. They lock up again, and Daniel sends Randy into the ropes. Randy comes back and knocks Daniel down. They lock up for a third time, and Daniel forces Randy's arm behind his back. Randy frees his arm and gets Daniel in a Sleeper Hold. Daniel once again shoves Randy into the ropes, and Randy once again knocks Daniel down. Daniel goes after Randy again, but Randy knocks him down once more and locks in a submission on Daniel's arm. Daniel escapes.

Daniel hits Randy with an European Uppercut. Daniel kicks Randy in the chest before getting him into a corner. Daniel goes to Irish Whip Randy into the opposite corner, but Randy reverses it. Daniel gets onto the top turnbuckle and flips over Randy. Daniel runs at Randy, but Randy nails him with a Dropkick. Randy pins Daniel.

1…2…kickout!

Randy kicks and stomps at Daniel before running at him. Daniel knees Randy in the gut. I cringe as Daniel drops a knee on Randy's head. Daniel elbows Randy before he starts kicking him in the chest again. Daniel hits Randy with another European Uppercut, but Randy comes back with multiple Right Hands. Daniel nails Randy with another European Uppercut. Daniel Irish Whips Randy into the ropes, but Randy grabs the ropes to stop his momentum. Daniel runs at Randy, but Randy tosses him over the ropes to practically right next to me. I back up as Big Show stands up and Randy goes to retrieve Daniel. Randy gestures something to Big Show. Randy tosses Daniel back in the ring and looks back at Big Show. Big Show sits back down, but Daniel nails Randy with a Baseball Slide. Daniel then nails Randy with a Running Knee. Daniel slides Randy back in the ring and follows behind him.

Daniel gets on the top turnbuckle but looks at both me and Big Show. This distracts Daniel long enough for Randy to recover and punch him. Randy climbs up and hits Daniel with a Superplex. Randy pins Daniel.

1…2…kickout!

Randy stomps on Daniel, but Daniel rolls out of the way when Randy goes to drop a knee on him. Randy goes to recover in the corner, but Daniel nails him with a Dropkick. Daniel starts kicking Randy in the chest until the referee forces him off. Daniel runs at Randy again, but Randy avoids it and rolls Daniel into a pin.

1…2…kickout!

Daniel attempts to lock Randy in the Lebell Lock, but Randy escapes from Daniel. Randy grabs Daniel's legs and catapults him to the outside of the apron. Randy immediately drops Daniel with the Draping DDT. Randy starts taunting for the RKO, but Daniel rolls out of the ring to the edge of the apron before knocking Randy over. Daniel goes to recover near me outside of the ring. Daniel grabs the World Heavyweight Championship to leave but taunts Big Show. Big Show throws Daniel around before tossing him back towards Randy. The referee calls for a disqualification just as Randy nails Daniel with the RKO.

"Here is your winner by disqualification, Daniel Bryan!"

Randy was clearly angry. Randy exits the ring and starts arguing with Big Show. I sigh as I roll my eyes. They shove each other before they start brawling. I glare at Daniel as he watches with a smirk.

I shove my way between the two men. "Hey! This is what Daniel is wanting! You both need to calm your asses down! The show is over! Calm it down!"

Both men are hesitant, but stop fighting.

"Good." I grab Randy's arm. "Let's go, babe."

Randy doesn't say anything and just nods.
