It was cold night in the Ice kingdom, colder than the rain forest at least. Grapefruit honestly didn't know why she was here, her dreams of visiting the world seemed so grand until it actually happened. But here she was now, in a tavern, in the Ice kingdom.
She took a sip of the cactus juice they have. It was disgusting, but the best thing they had. Her mind had just began to be fuzzy when she noticed an attractive dragon enter the tavern.
He came up right next to her and sat down. She didn't know why, but her heartbeat had started going faster. He ordered something and drank it slowly.
"Why are you staring at me?"
She jumped. Was he talking to her?
" Hello, I asked you a question."
She looked around confused and he grounded.
"Yeah, I'm talking to you, grapefruit."
"How do you know my name?" she said amazed. Was this destiny? is this what was meant to happen?
" Uhhhhh good guess?".
Then she started laughing stared at he then joined in and in a matter of minutes they were crying from laughter and collapsed on each other.
"So, what's your name?"
"Prince Shard"
So, he's a prince.
"Nice to meet you, your highness."
"The pleasure is mine, Lady Grapefruit"
She blushed and looked away. No one had ever called her lady before.
She smiled at him and he smiled back. He had a nice smile.
They laughed and joked for the rest of the night. She didn't remember the last time she had so much fun. After morning had only begun a man kicked them out of the tavern.
"So where are you staying?"
She had to think for a moment. Where was she staying?
" Because if you want, we could hang out a bit more at the palace"
She didn't need to think twice.
