It was a normal Sunday in the Duke household Lord. and Mr. Duke were outside lounging in the sun while talking. The twins Travis and Conner were upstairs practicing some light spells to show their parents as the eldest they had to be the best. Their middle child Katie was with some friends at a muggle pool. Their youngest was in the basement planning a large prank in celebration of him going to Hogwarts. It was around two o'clock when the letter arrived but no one was there to get it so it was around three when it was opened.

Remus opened it and started to cackle while saying "Watch out Hogwarts Dukey is coming" then he set off his prank making his parents and older siblings excluded Katie turn Slytherin colors.

"Remus" Lord Duke growled while walking threatening towards him until he heard muffled giggling. Behind him Mr. Duke was trying and failing to contain his laughter at their situation. Seeing that he was caught he just gave up and clutched his sides while laughing harder than he had in a while.

"At least McGonagall won't be bored" was all he managed to get out while wheezing. At those words both Travis and Conner started to laugh as well and shortly after Lord Duke and Remus joined him. After a good long while they all calmed down enough and started to congratulate Remus on getting into Hogwarts.

"Ya know when you're a Gryffindor you can't pull pranks like these" Travis said while gesturing to the green and silver they were coated with.

"Actually, I was hoping to get into Slytherin" Remus replied.

'WHAT" yelled everyone sans Remus.

"You can't go into the snake pit they're dark" Conner said incredulously.

"So dark isn't evil ya know" Remus said like it was obvious.

Lord Duke grabbed Remus and made him look him in the eyes and said seriously "You cannot go into Slytherin you are a light wizard the whole family is" He grabbed Remus's chin "Dark does equal evil Remus do you understand".

Remus mumbled out "I understand".

Lord Duke stood up and let go of Remus he clapped his hands together while saying "Alright I have to say this calls for some ice cream whose with me". Everyone cheered sans Remus. They all left towards the kitchen leaving Remus behind.

"I know I'm dark and I'm not evil" he angrily mumbled out while following them feeling a lot less happy for Hogwarts.
