Pinguin sat on her cot watching her fellow dragonets get ready for bed. The care takers ran around taking younglings in and preparing warm breeze for those who didn't sleep well.
Seal curled up on her bed yawning loudly. She turned her attention to Pinguin, and smirked.
"So Pinguin what did you do today?"
"I became friends with Prince North."
Seal laughed loudly.
"Really? Did he give you true loves kiss too?"
"Why would he do that? We only became friends."
She laughed again.
"Sure, he did"

When the queen noticed her son enter the palace she ran as quickly as she could. He didn't seem to be hurt, but a mother had her worries.
"North where have you been? Me and you father have been so worried."
"I'm fine mom. I was just hanging out with a dragonet"
"A dragonet?" she asked curiously," Who exactly is this dragonet?"
"Her name's Pinguin" and with that he walked off.
She looked in the direction he was heading. She didn't know any Pinguins. Perhaps Shard was right. Did that mean there were other dragonets he was hanging out with? How many, and who? She didn't need this kind of nonsense from her son.

North looked up at the northern star. It was the brightest in the sky and by far his he was young he would wish on it all the time, but now he new they didn't come true.
He turned away from his window and headed for his bed.
He laid there for what felt like hours but sleep never came. He was used to it of course, he never slept well. He looked at the windows again noticing the mountains he had been on only a few hours ago.
Then his mind drifted to the dragonet. She was so wired and made such strange jokes. What did lonely lunar lunar loonie lunatic even mean?
Those where the thoughts that he fell asleep to, and his dreams where full of pinguins and bad jokes.

"I can't take this anymore!" Romantic yelled.
She was never really good with travelling, not that she ever did it. All she wanted to do was lay in the sun with all her mangoes. Instead, she was flying with tiered wings, and an empty belly.
"Can't we stop for a break? And food?"
"I told you were not stopping until we get to the Ice Kingdome."
"But that's so far away"
"I gave you the choice to come and you said yes, so get over it"
She sighed. She was never going on a filed trip with Aroura again.
