Hey! Sorry for this huge mix up, somehow the chapter for the ending of Thor 2 got deleted and I had to rewrite the whole fucking chapter. IT SUCKS. The ending some of you might know, will probably be different than this new version. Anyway, there might be some more changes to the story as I go along and edit the rest of the story, the way it's set up might not make sense as of right now, but I am working it all out. Hopefully...

After arriving back to Earth, Jane drove us back to her apartment as the three of us fall into an uncomfortable and awkward silence. I honestly feel numb to everything at the moment, and as I watch the buildings and other cars we pass by throughout the city, I can't help but think that everything is so surreal in that moment. When we make it back to Jane's apartment, I wordlessly follow Jane and Thor inside despite wanting nothing more than to be alone, because now was not the time to wallow in my own self pity when there were more important matters to attend to. I see familiar faces like Darcy and Ian, who rush over to Jane happily as they inspect her for any wounds and curiously observe the clothing she now adorns. Thor, awkwardly places Mjolnir on a coat hanger before joining the others. I just stand awkwardly at the door, fiddling with my thumbs as I yearn for my flask of scotch until Dr. Erik Selvig approaches me.

"Erik!" I grinned.

"Tyra! It's so wonderful to see you!"

I went to hug him and immediately pause when I noticed that he had no pants on.

"Aaaaannnnd...your pants are where exactly?" I raised an eyebrow.

"He says it helps him think." Ian informed me.

"Right...okay...ummm...ah fuck it." I hug Selvig anyway.

When I finally pull back, I focus on the task at hand and give Selvig an all too serious look.

"Selvig. Listen, I'm going to need everything you've got. All the work you've been doing on gravimetric anomalies, everything." I told him. "We're gonna need it."

"Okay." Selvig nodded in understanding.

"Are you well, Erik?" Thor looked at Selvig in concern.

"Your brother's not coming, is he?" Erik laughed nervously.

"Loki is dead." Thor's face saddened.

"Oh, thank God- - I.. I meant, I'm so sorry." Erik stammered.

"Thank you." Thor meekly smiled at Selvig.

We gathered everything involving Selvig's notes and sat around a table, trying to put all the pieces together.

"Malekith is going to fire the Aether at a spot where all the nine worlds are connecting." Jane explained.

"Amplifying the weapon's impact. For each additional world, the power will increase exponentially. The effect would be universal." Selvig added.

"Yes but the alignment is only temporary. He must be in exactly the right place at the right time." Thor told us.

"Well, how do we know where that is?" Darcy raised an eyebrow.

Simple...very simple. I can't believe I never noticed something like this before. Maybe I should team up with Selvig more often. I missed this guy.

"Just follow the directions." I grabbed Selvig's map after observing his notes. "This has happened before, thousands of years ago, and the Ancients were there to see it."

I swept everything off of a table nearby and spread out the map for everyone to see as Selvig put items on the corners of the map to hold it down.

"All the great constructions, the Mayans, the Chinese, the Egyptians. They made use of the gravitational effects of the Convergence." Erik started to explain.

"And by doing so, they left us a map." I concluded.

Oh how I missed Selvig.

Erik began to help me rule the lines on the map.

"Stonehenge, Snowden, the Great Orme. These are all coordinates taking us… here."

I pointed to Greenwich.

"Greenwich?" Ian appeared confused.

"The walls between worlds will be almost non-existent. Physics are going to go ballistic. Increases and decreases in gravity, spatial extrusions… The very fabric of reality is going to be torn apart." Jane explained.

Thor grew serious and held out his hand as he calls Mjolnir to him. In seconds, Mjolnir was in his grasp.

"I better get my pants." Selvig sighed.

I sighed as everyone got ready to pack up what we needed and stepped outside before sitting on the stairs leading to the street. Thoughts of doubt once again worming their way inside my mind. For once, I felt...lost. Almost sensing my distress, Thor follows me outside and sits with me on the steps. He blushes as I reach down my shirt and into my bra, until he sees my flask. I take a large swig and offer some to Thor, who politely declines.

"Are you alright, Lady Tyra?" Thor asked.

"No...I'm not." I admitted. "I pretend that I am, but I'm not."

"Would you care to talk about it?" Thor offers.

"Oh please. You should all be preparing for the big battle." I chuckle dryly.

"You sound as if you are not aiding me in this battle." Thor seemed concerned.

"I didn't exactly bring the armor with me, Thor. I don't know how the hell I'd be able to help. I mean, taking on the rest of Malekith's army...plus Malekith himself..."

I take another swig from the flask and feel the burning sensation the alcohol leaves as it trails down my throat and into my stomach.

I just needed a drink right now...

"I'm going to need you by my side, Tyra. I don't think I can do this without you or Jane...or Darcy and Selvig. I need all of you." Thor said.

I stood up and began pacing around anxiously as I start ranting.

"Do you actually need me? Every time I try to do something good, it just blows up in my fucking face. I try to change these visions I see, like people dying, I end up failing. I can't save Coulson, your mother, or Loki. I'm a failure. You'll probably end up dead too the longer you're with me. I'm fucking cursed or something I swear." I felt tears prickling in my eyes. "What's the point?!"

Thor's eyes prickle with tears as he stood up and stopped me from pacing, putting his hands on my shoulders to effectively pin me down where I now stood.

"Tyra. You are not a failure. I do not understand why you would believe such a thing. You helped defeat the Chitauri when they invaded Midgard, you are a smart, cunning, and brilliant woman, but most importantly you have a good heart. If anyone should have the powers of a Vanir, I am glad that it is you." Thor told me. "You are indeed a good person who bad things have happened to, but it's not your fault, it's not anyone's fault. Sometimes fate has other plans, and that's okay." Thor grew serious.

"But...but I..." I held back a sob.

"But what? You keep holding onto this blame, trying to take this huge burden on your shoulders. It will suffocate you, Tyra Stark. You have to let go sometimes. For the longer you hold onto this guilt...let us say that it will not bode well for you. It is better to move forward, to try to help the worlds as best as we can. Don't you agree?" Thor smiles warmly at me.

My eyes widened as I stared at Thor in surprise.

He's right...he's completely right. About everything.

Suddenly, I jump on Thor as I nearly tackle him into a hug. Thor is definitely caught by surprise, but gladly returned the embrace as he buries his face in my hair and holds me tightly. We sway together, just holding onto each other for several minutes, until finally, I manage to pull away. I wipe the tears from my eyes and give Thor a small smile.

"How the fuck are you so wise, huh?" I lightly joke.

"I've been through a lot as well, and I have learned so much." Thor replies. "I blame myself for many things as well. Perhaps if I was more humble before...Loki would not have done the things he did. I keep thinking he would still be here if I was different back then. Even when we were on opposite sides, I still loved him."

I nod at Thor in understanding.

"At least we learn from our mistakes." I offer. "I'm sure Loki is proud of the man you have become."

"Perhaps he is..." Thor mutters.

"Okay...I guess it's time to get serious." I nodded at Thor gratefully. "Thank you...I really needed that."

I poked at my watch, waiting for JARVIS to reply.

"Hey JARVIS?"

"Yes, Miss Stark?" JARVIS replied.

"Send me a suit. Make it snappy, we're on the clock here." I grew determined.

"Right away miss."

JARVIS sounded pleased, almost as if he was listening to this entire conversation with Thor and I.

After arriving to Greenwich, Darcy and Ian immediately get to work on unloading Erik's scientific tent poles from their vehicle near the University campus.

"Focus! This is important. We have to hammer them in all around the site, and then Jane and Erik will activate them from the tower." Darcy snapped at Ian.

"They're taped together." Erik informed her as he walked away with Jane.

"...do you even know what these things do?" Darcy questioned Ian.

"Uh… No." Ian replied.

"Neither do I." Darcy shrugged.

"Guys, just relax. Don't think, just hammer those poles in okay?" I told them.

"Can you fly us to our next location?" Darcy raised an eyebrow.

"Don't really have the time to. Malekith is gonna show up at any moment. You do know that right? Just stay focused and be careful. You'll be fine if you just do those two things." I reply.

The face piece to the helmet slid back on and I flew off in the armor, searching for a huge ship, for any signs of Malekith.

So far, there were none, thank god for that.

As Darcy and Ian reach their first location, Ian begins hammering the first pole into place.

"Come on, come on, come on!" Darcy yelled nervously.

"Right." Ian finished hammering the pole.

My eyes widened as Malekith's Ark popped out of nowhere, coming into sight as it cuts through the water, quickly approaching the university where we are. People start running and screaming right on cue as Darcy and Ian see it approach and froze like a deer in headlights.

"Holy…shit." Darcy's eyes widened.

"God damn it!" I curse to myself.

I immediately flew back to Darcy and Ian, picking them both up by the back of their jackets. I ignored their screams as I dropped them off at their next location.

"Why the fuck did you two just stand there?!" I snapped.

"THERE WAS A HUGE SHIP THAT JUST POPPED UP OUT OF NOWHERE! HOW ARE YOU NOT FREAKING OUT?!" Darcy snapped.

"...I defeated an alien army and saw their huge ass mother ship as I delivered a nuke to them. Surprisingly, I'm starting to get used to this." I sighed.

"...oh yeah." Darcy blushes.

"Be careful, I won't be around to help you next time." I gave them a look of worry.

"Alright, Stark, just leave already. We got this, don't we Andrew?" Darcy folded her arms.

"My name is Ian!" He yells.

With that, I flew away and start heading towards Malekith's direction.

Malekith exits his ship and stares up at the convergence beginning its alignment in the sky above. Thor drops from the sky and lands in front of Malekith, gripping Mjolnir tightly in his hand.

"You needn't have come so far, Asgardian. Death would've come to you soon enough."

He stared at Thor not even feeling remotely threatened, mostly because he had the Aether at his side to use at his disposal. I flew in and landed right next to Thor.

"Not by your hand." Thor shouts at him.

"You may have the Aether, but not for long." I got into a fighting stance.

"Your universe was never meant to be. Your world and your family will be extinguished!" Malekith grew angry and thrusts his arms forward.

In seconds, the power of the Aether flies out from Malekith, and moves forward and hits Thor, causing him to fall back. Thor immediately gets back on his feet as Malekith sends another Aether blast his way. Thor is flung back once more, but this time, I fly over to catch him. As Malekith sends another blast of Aether, I try out my newest addition to the armor my father gifted me and deflect any energy being sent my way as it hits Malekith even harder than before. Malekith and Thor both stare at me in surprise.

"You know, with all that power, I thought you'd hit harder." I smugly retort.

"How did you do that exactly, Tyra?" Thor asked me.

"Oh! I added a little something to my armor. I figured out how to basically deflect energy, but I can only use it a number of times...pretty cool huh?" I explained.

We both focus on Malekith again as draws himself upwards and the Aether starts to swarm around him like a tornado, Thor grows annoyed and finally throws Mjolnir at him, sending Malekith flying backwards several feet through the Dark Elves, and crashing through concrete pillars and stops when he crashes into a vehicle. Thor and I nod at each other.

"Go help those that are trying to flee from the dark elves. I'll handle Malekith." Thor told me.

"You got it."

With that I flew off.

I fly around in a rush, helping random people as they run from dark elves, blasting them left and right with repulsor beams.

"Miss Stark...I believe your father is calling you. Shall I answer?" JARVIS asks.

"...what? Now?" I ask incredulously.

"Yes. Now. Do you want me to ignore the call? I can tell him you're busy fighting these...dark elves with Mr. Odinson." JARVIS replied.

"This is a little weird timing...but sure. Go ahead and accept the call."

I shot another dark elf and flew off.

"TYRA ELIZABETH STARK!"

Ooohh...he is not happy...

"What? No hello dearest daughter? I've been pretty fucking stressed these past few days and that's how you greet me?" I joked as I try to lighten the mood.

I found more people running from dark elves, one person each being grabbed by one. I carefully assessed the situation and simply targeted each dark elf, shooting them all at once before they get the chance to hurt the civilians. They run for the hills after I save them.

"You've been missing for who knows how long! You didn't even leave a damn note! I couldn't even track you down! And JARVIS only mentioned that you were all the way in London before you fell off the grid?! How the hell did you end up there?!" Dad yelled.

"It's a really long story...like so long, it would take up five to seven books, and all just to explain everything. But uh...I'm fighting dark elves with Thor in Greenwich, that's basically all I can really say at this moment in time." I replied.

"Greenwich?! I swear to god- -"

"Before you have a complete meltdown, I just wanted to say that this wasn't exactly my plan. I had some visions that concerned Thor's mother dying and all I wanted to do was find Thor to warn him ahead of time, but then before I know what the hell is happening, I'm being taken to Asgard, and then we broke Loki out of prison- -"

"YOU WHAT?! WHY DID YOU THINK THAT WAS SMART?!"

"We needed Loki to get out of Asgard! Because the dark elves attacked, and we knew they were gonna come back in bigger numbers! We uh...kinda committed treason now that I think about it..."

"Do I want to know why you used Loki to escape Asgard?"

...this isn't going well...maybe I should hang up?

I shot more dark elves with repulsor blasts and flew down until I was leaning against a building, trying to catch a breath.

"Well, when I met up with Jane Foster, Thor's girl, I uh...well she was already investigating these abnormal occurrences going around in London, and she basically dragged me into this situation that involved some dark matter called the Aether to get inside of us- -and I gotta go! I can't be talking to you at a time like this- -"

"NO! Don't you even think about hanging up!"

"DAD! I have to go help Thor or the world is basically screwed! Considering the shit I've done for you- -I should get at least one free pass!"

"Fine! But as soon as you get back to the tower, you are going to tell me every single detail or I swear to everything holy, that I'm going to implant a tracking device in your little skull, just so I know where you are, so that I can sleep at night!" Dad snapped.

"OKAY! I WILL! LOVE YOU TOO!" I shouted angrily.

With that, I ended the call and flew off into action.

As Malekith approached the ark, the convergence begins to align above it. Malekith summoned the Aether once more as it starts swirling around him, and then threw up his arms.

Shit...we're too late.

As I made my way to Jane and Selvig, the Aether was now currently swirling around the ark, moving up towards the aligning worlds.

NO!

"Tyra! We're too late." Jane looked worried.

"The Convergence is at its peak." Erik added.

The face piece to the helmet pulled back as I looked down to the equipment Erik is carrying.

"Can those stop it?" I asked.

"Not from here." Erik told me.

"Tyra! You can't do this! We can't get close enough. What makes you think you can?! Just wait for Thor!" Jane argued.

"Yeah, well, I'm not entirely all that human. Plus I have the armor on me, Jane. I can't wait for Thor, I don't know where the hell he is or where Malekith sent him to, but if I continue to waste time we won't be able to have any sort of conversation or be able to live in the next five to ten minutes! I'm going to do this! Now give those over! I'm gonna amplify their signal!" I snapped.

I snatched the equipment from Erik and turned over to look at the swirling Aether, my face piece pulling back up.

"JARVIS? What's the chance of me surviving this?" I gulped.

"I'm not sure, madam. But I would advise against doing this. I would simply wait for Mr. Odinson as Dr. Foster suggested." JARVIS suggested.

"Hey, I'm only doing as Thor told me. I'm moving forward. If...uh...I happen to not make it, tell Rhodey where my Will of Testament is. He should be able to get it to dad and Pepper..." I tried to keep my emotions in check.

"...as you wish, Miss Stark. If I may, I would like to tell you that it's been an honor serving you." JARVIS said.

"You know JARVIS, you may be an AI, but I feel like you're more human than I am. Thank you so much for being a friend, for helping me and my father out when we needed you." I blink away tears.

I began to force my way through the huge swirling storm of Aether.

"Of course...Tyra."

My eyes widened as JARVIS called me by my first name for the very first time.

"If I survive, I'm gonna build you a body, screw what everyone else says..." I smiled.

"I- -if you w- -wish to, Tyra." JARVIS began glitching.

Even in the darkest of times, JARVIS is trying to comfort me, and he's not even a living person.

Malekith stands oblivious, arms spread wide as he releases the Aether into the realms.

"HEY MALEKITH!" I yelled.

Malekith whirls around to see me, and looks unphased.

"Darkness returns, Midgardian. Have you come to witness the end of your universe?"

"I've come to accept your surrender." I nearly growl.

Using the armor to amplify the signal, I chuck the first of Erik's scientific tent poles at Malekith like throwing a spear, and he catches it in one hand.

HA! I got him! I might survive this after all!

I smirk as the tent pole beeps and Malekith's arm disappears.

TAKE THAT, BITCH!

I throw the next pole as hard as I can and inwardly fist pump as it impacted in Malekith's opposite shoulder. In seconds, his other arm disappears as well.

"You think you can stop this? The Aether cannot be destroyed." Malekith yelled at me.

The Aether began to move around Malekith, slowly taking the form of limbs, particularly the limbs he lost.

Well shit, I didn't know the Aether could do that. But then again, the Reality Stone is capable of many things from what it seems.

"Yeah, but you can." I replied.

I put everything into the thrusters as I flew at full speed towards Malekith. I throw the last pole and it embeds into Malekith, making him fly backwards into the ark.

"Tyra!"

What? Is that...

"TYRA MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!"

THOR!

I quickly move out of the way, Mjolnir finally in Thor's grasp as he leaps into the air, driving both hammer and tent pole into Malekith, causing him to be stuck to the ark. In seconds, Malekith is gone as he screams in rage. The blast of the Aether disappearing knocks both Thor and I back, which caused the both of to black out. I could faintly hear screaming as my eyes reopened and realized that Malekith's ship was now falling, and was going to land on top of us.

"Thor! Tyra! No!" Jane screamed fearfully.

"Jane!" Erik pulled Jane back with him, trying to save her.

My eyes widen as I'm now fully awake.

"THOR! GET UP!" I yelled frantically.

I looked down beside me to see an unconscious Thor.

SHIT SNACKS!

I used what strength I had and carried Thor, using the armor to fly off, but in the end, I knew we wouldn't make it away from this. I closed my eyes as we both crashed to the ground, and I simply hold onto Thor, waiting for the worst to come.

Shouldn't I be dead by now?

I reopen my eyes, to see that Malekith's ship is gone and also see Erik grinning as he holds up his portal-making device.

That son of a bitch.

I laugh as I toss off my helmet, and collapse onto Thor, still holding onto him.

"Everyone okay?" Selvig asked.

Thor slowly wakes up and notices me on top of him. I blush as I make a move to stand up and get away from Thor. Jane races over to Thor and tackles him before pulling him into a kiss, relieved that he was alive.

I guess all is well that ends well right? Is that how that saying goes? Whatever, I'm too fucking exhausted to care.

Darcy turns over and kisses Ian passionately. I look around to see that Greenwich University is a huge mess. I turned over to Selvig, pulling my hair tie off and letting my long hair free.

Huh...my arm is tingling...maybe I should try to get the armor off?

"So...this has been quite a reunion for us, huh?" I smiled at Selvig.

"Indeed it has." Selvig returned the smile. "So...how have you been...did you, see Loki again before he..."

I nodded and looked away from Selvig.

"You know what's so fucked up about this? I actually miss that bastard. He mentally tortured me, branded me, killed people I care about, and somehow, I miss him." I laughed at the irony of it all.

"I know."

I glanced back at Selvig, surprised at his words.

"I heard what you did for him, or what you tried to do. You always saw the best in the people and tried to help them, even if they were our enemies. In some ways, I understand why Loki didn't put you under mind control. I think deep down, he knew you were different, I think he might have genuinely liked you." Selvig told me.

"You really think so?" I raised an eyebrow.

"It's just my theory...but yeah...I think so. I might not like him as much as you did, and for obvious reasons, but I'm sorry he's gone...if that makes you feel any better." Selvig's smile faded away.

"You don't have to apologize. I'll be okay...over time." I sighed. "But thank you."

"Mis- -Miss Stark." JARVIS spoke up.

I tapped my watch, after latching off the arm to the suit and tossing it to the ground.

"You're still here JARVIS?" I smiled.

Well...I feel a little woozy...maybe I'll lay off the booze for a while huh? Shouldn't have had so much before the fight...

"Miss Stark. I believe you should let someone take you to a hospital." JARVIS informed me.

Mmmm...I think the adrenaline coursing through me is beginning to wear off.

"What? I feel...okay-ish. What's the matter?"

"Based off of my scans, I have noticed that your left arm is broken in several places, plus you've managed to break two of your ribs. Both of which were at risk of puncturing a lung." JARVIS spoke aloud,

I looked down at my left arm and detached the armor to my left arm, also tossing it to the ground. I saw my arm bleeding, and how bizarre my arm now looked.

"Well shit..." I muttered.

I poked my arm and winced.

"Uh...Tyra. I think JARVIS is making a valid point here. Do you want me to take you to a hospital?" Selvig looked concerned.

Thor and the others came over to us.

"HA!" I laughed. "My arm is broken!"

Pain washed over me, and suddenly I felt like I had been run over repeatedly by a train.

"Tyra...are you well?" Thor asked with concern.

"My arm is broken..." I barely uttered.

"Tyra. I think you're in shock. I'm gonna take you to the hospital." Selvig put his hand on my right shoulder.

"...HOLY FUCK IT HURTS! MY ARM IS FUCKING BROKEN! HOLY SHIT!" I suddenly screamed.

Everyone looked surprised at my outburst.

"Yeah...I think now is a good time to get that armor off and take her to the hospital." Jane's eyes widened with worry.

"NO! Wait a minute!" I raised my good hand up, stopping everyone and leaving them confused.

After ordering JARVIS to get the armor off, it all fell to the ground as I reached in my bra to get out my flask.

"You carry a flask on you?" Darcy looked amused.

"FOR GOOD FUCKING REASONS! I THINK I DESERVE THIS DRINK!" I shouted.

"Okay, shutting up now." Darcy backed away slowly.

I opened the flask, and began chugging down the contents. Selvig made a move to stop me, but I simply held up my hand to stop him. After drinking the entire thing, I dropped the flask, letting it fall to the ground.

"...now that's what I needed." I hit my chest, burping a little bit.

"What was that exactly?" Jane asked.

"That my friend, was some very good whiskey." I told her.

"Well shit. You drank that like it was nothing." Darcy let out a laugh.

"Okay, now, before I scream from the absolute pain in my left arm..." I gestured towards my broken arm. "Please, take me to a hospital."

"...You are surprisingly really calm right now." Ian stared at me in surprise.

"Oh believe me, I'm crying from the pain on the inside." I smiled dryly.

"Yeah...let's take you to the hospital now..." Selvig gently put his arm around me as he led me away and to Jane's car. "Jane, the keys if you will."

Jane tossed Erik Darcy's car keys.

"OH NO! Not that car. Thor."

I looked over to Thor.

"...me?" Thor pointed to himself.

"You're taking me to the hospital. And you will fly me there, or I swear to Odin..." I held in a breath as I winced again from the pain.

"Of course. You fought well today, Tyra. It is the very least I can do for you." Thor politely smiled at me.

"Thank you...so much."

"Oh my god, she's crying now." Darcy stared at me in wide-eyed curiosity.

"I will see you all later." Thor carefully picked me up along with Mjolnir.

"Oh god...I'm dying..." I whimpered from the pain.

"And that right there, is the many stages of pain... by Tyra Stark." Darcy added.

"God Darcy...I fucking love you, man." I laughed.

Thor stared at me amusedly, before tightening his grip on me and flying off.

After being taken to the hospital, I practically begged Thor to stay with me, suddenly feeling afraid. Thor thought my behavior was amusing, and after a while, he complied and sat with me as the doctor's got to work despite their orders on him not being allowed back with me. It was many hours later, but my dad showed up after JARVIS informed him where I was. Paparazzi went nuts as Iron Man showed up at this hospital. He got out of the suit, and it went to autopilot, getting unwanted people away from my room as dad walked in to see me.

"Man of Iron. It is good to see you again." Thor smiled at Tony, getting out of his chair.

"Ah! Shakespeare! How's it going?" Tony grinned at the sight of Thor.

"Your daughter was very amusing after the men of medicine injected her with an unknown substance and fixed her arm in this cast. She also has two broken ribs as they have informed me." Thor told him.

"Well! That's wonderful to know!" Dad turned over to look at me. "You're grounded by the way!"

"B- -but I'm like...twenty two...I think...oh god...how long has it been?" I moaned.

"You see? You don't even know how old you are, that's how drugged up you are!" Dad grinned at me. "And I will ground you, no matter how old you get!" He snapped.

"Ground her?" Thor looked confused and disturbed.

"Oh. I'm just punishing her. It's just another word for it." Tony explained to Thor.

Thor nodded in understanding.

"No fighting crime for a month, no going out of the tower for a month..." Dad turned back to me.

"What?! Oh come on- -"

"And no workshop for a month!" Dad finished. "You will be on bedrest for a while, because of the state you're now in. You only have yourself to blame for that. And you will also be writing those books about how all of this even came to be, from the very beginning." He smiled.

"WHAT? I was just joking about that!" I whined.

"Well you're going to anyway." Dad looked content. "Good talk."

"No it wasn't..." I groaned.

"Stark, if I may, if it wasn't for your daughter, Asgard would be shrouded in darkness right now. Along with the nine realms...which include Midgard." Thor defended me.

Dad stared at Thor before looking as if he was actually considering taking away my punishment.

"Very good point...you're also going to therapy as Bruce and I suggested before." Tony added.

"WHAT?! THAT'S BULLSHIT AND YOU KNOW IT!" I snapped.

"Okay tell you what, since Thor has made the point that you saved the world along with many others, you'll only go to therapy for a month."

"How about not at all?! Screw that! I'm not going!"

"You are." Dad seemed determined.

"And why?! I get it! You're angry with me- -"

"Angry? No...I'm furious." Dad seemed surprisingly calm. "Do you know how scared I was? I haven't actually had a good nights sleep since that army showed up in New York. When you went into that portal, I thought I'd never see you again. But then...you came back. And then not long after, you're traveling to different worlds, you saw your mother again, and then you're helping Thor in Asgard and breaking Loki out of prison, and fighting dark elves in Greenwich. You're all over the place and it scares me that I'm not there to protect you or help you in anyway. I'm just stuck at home tinkering with the suits, worrying to death over you." He rambled. "I'm sorry if you think this is unfair, but I'm only doing this because I care about you. That's the bottom line here."

Well...I never...thought about all of that. Maybe he's right?

"You've gotta stop being overprotective. All that's gonna do is push me away." I glared at him.

"If it pushes you away from all this." Dad gestured his hands around the room. "I'll gladly do so."

"Stark, that is enough." Thor grew angry. "You should be proud of her and the woman she has become. She is brave, courageous, wise, cunning..."

"And she'll wind up dead before Christmas if she keeps up the lifestyle she has going. I won't lose her, not now, not ever." Tony looked outraged.

"If you think shielding her from the world will protect her, you are only fooling yourself." Thor stood tall in front of my dad, towering over him. "She has gifts that can help many others, keeping her locked away from the world is very selfish of you."

"Is it selfish that I only want my daughter to stay alive?!" Dad pushed Thor away from him. "Fuck you." He spat out.

"I understand your concerns, but doing this will help no one. Not even you." Thor simply stared at my dad. "If you want to truly help Tyra, be at her side, support her through everything. Love her with all of your heart. That is what will help her."

Dad froze and stared at Thor in surprise.

"I loved my brother, I truly did, but I never did anything to help him, to support him. It was always the other way around. Look where that got me, Stark." Thor grew serious.

"I support her! We just...have our differences on certain viewpoints." Dad sighed.

"Are you sure of that?" Thor put Mjolnir down and folded his arms. "Because it seems that right now, you are punishing your daughter for doing good things, you are not supporting her. Do not lie to yourself. You know that this is wrong." Thor glared at him.

"...fine!" Dad cracked. "What do you suggest I do then? Let her run around until she collapses and dies?!"

Do they not know I'm right here still?

"It is okay to worry about her health, but punishing her for doing what is right is not the answer. Do you know what Lady Tyra fights for? She fights to save the ones she cares for, she fights for you. I see the love and respect she has for you, don't destroy your relationship because of your fears. It will not do either of you any good." Thor argued.

Thor walked over to me, and put his lips on my forehead. I blushed at the loving gesture, and stared at Thor with curiosity as he pulled away and put his hand on top of my head.

"Thank you...for helping me, for helping my family. I know that my mother truly liked you and she would be proud of what you did. And my brother...I saw the real him again thanks to you. And you protected Jane, though you barely knew her, but you knew how much she means to me. You are a very kind being and I thank you for aiding me in battle. I would not have defeated Malekith if it were not for you. I will see you soon in the near future. Should you ever need my help, call out to Heimdall and I will come to you." Thor smiled warmly at me.

God damn...that smile could make anyone fall in love with him. N- -not that I'm in love or anything!

"Um...sure. Yeah...anytime." I stammered.

"Goodbye for now, Tyra Stark." Thor smiled before exiting the room.

After a nurse came in and gave me more morphine, dad came over to sit by my side. We sat in silence for the longest time, sneaking glances at each other every now and then.

"I'm sorry I overreacted. Surprisingly, Shakespeare had very valid points. I was just...I was so scared...of losing you." Dad spoke up.

I stared at dad in surprise. Dad reached over before grabbing my good hand.

"You know...before your mother left, she told me something. And it's something I've never forgotten."

At the mention of my birth mother, I perked up with interest.

"Love this girl with all of your heart, protect her, be at her side as she grows older. Tyra is special, she'll need you every step of the way. Do not mess up or you'll lose her forever." Dad recited.

I squeezed dad's hand in support.

"It's fine, dad. I'll...I'll go to therapy, whatever you want. I don't care anymore." I sighed. "I just don't want to fight with you, not now. I'm just...so tired of fighting."

"I'm sorry..." Dad mumbled softly. "I just...want to protect you. If it makes you feel any better, you don't have to write those books."

I snorted and we both looked at each other, cracking a smile.

"I'll tell you what happened. Everything..." I smiled at him. "I'll leave out the scary parts though."

"Aw, no need for censoring...I wanna hear everything." Dad lightly joked. "Especially the scary parts.

"Alright, just don't blame me if your arc reactor stops working from the shock you will receive." I chuckled.

"I'll bring a back up." He played along.

"...I love you."

"...love you too." He smiled.
