Aroura had never been happier in her life. She finally had a real father that didn't hate her, and two sisters. She never really saw the prince, but it didn't bother her too much. It must have surprised him to find out that he had a sister that no one knew about, or maybe his farther and him where close and the news broke his trust. Whatever it was she wouldn't interfere with it. It was his choice to like her or not and she wouldn't force him to spend time with her if he did not want to.

She and Romantic were sitting in their shared bedroom. The sun had raised a few hours before now but being raised by Rainwing meant they didn't really get up until noon anywise. She looked over at her best friend who seemed gloomier than usual. Actually, she hadn't been very happy the whole week they had been there.

"Romantic?" She grunted in response, "Are you all right? You seem really sad lately. Have I done something wrong?"

The sunset patterned dragon sat up and turned to face her friend. She was glaring at her when their eyes met, and she knew something was wrong.

"I've been here all week you know that. I've stayed on the sidelines while you and your stupid sisters play around, touring the palace. Well guess what? I was your friend first! and I'm still your friend! Even if that means that I have to sit here and pretend that I'm perfectly fine while you go play family!"

She stared at the Rainwing princess in shock, thinking about what she'd done. She spent so much time with her new family she hadn't noticed Romantic was feeling so left out.

" I'm so sorry. I guess I was just so excited about finding my real dad that I didn't think about how you were feeling. I got an idea, how about we go take a look around the Kingdome together, no one else, Ok?" She brightened up the slightest bit then nodded.

"I'd like that."

They were just about to leave when the door slammed open, reveling an exhausted North and some other dragon who was much younger than him.

"What-"

"Aroura you're in danger... My mother... she, she sent an assassin... after... you." He panted in between his words, but the message was clear.
