Raw: March 19, 2012
I walk into my locker-room to see Randy sitting on the couch. I frown, knowing that I'm about to ruin the good mood he's in with what I've heard.
Randy looks at me. "Hey, sweetheart. What's wrong?"
I start getting into my outfit for tonight. "What are you talking about?"
"I know that look on your face. Something's not good."
"You aren't going to be happy about it."
"Why are you saying that?"
"Because you won't be. Trust me. Maybe I should wait until we get to the hotel to talk to you about it."
"The anticipation will drive me crazy. Talk to me now, Rissa."
I finish changing clothes and sit down next to him. "Do you still hate Brock Lesnar?"
"I still think that man is the one of biggest assholes I've ever met. Why?"
I give Randy a serious look without saying a word.
Randy realizes what is going on and gives me an angry look. "No! Absolutely not! Marissa, how the hell is this happening?!"
"I heard that John Laurinaitis is working to sign him back. I knew you wouldn't be happy about it, so I figured that I'd give you a heads up."
"I appreciate it, but I'm not happy."
"I know. That's why I knew it needed to be a discussion for us to have."
Randy sighed. "Thank you for that. We should go talk to John."
"We should?"
"We should. He thinks as poorly of Brock Lesnar as much as I do. He should be warned."
I nod. "Then, we should talk to John."
Randy kissed my forehead. "I love you, beautiful. Thank you for the warning."
I leaned into Randy. "Of course."
"You'll finally understand why I despise that man."
I nodded. "Isn't that unfortunate?"
"Sorry, babe. At least we'll be able to mutually understand each other about it."
"Yeah, but you already informed me of how much of a jackass he is. I'm not looking forward to being around him."
Randy nodded. "Let's go see John."
Randy held onto my hand as we entered John's locker-room. "Hey, best friend. We need to chat."
John looked at us. "We need to talk? What's going on?"
Randy looked at me. "You should say it."
I sigh. "John Laurinaitis is working to sign Brock Lesnar back to WWE."
"You've gotta be kidding me." John says as he starts pacing around.
Randy shakes his head. "Unfortunately she's not."
John looks at me. "If you don't understand why we don't like Brock, you will."
I roll my eyes. "I'm not looking forward to it."
"You shouldn't be."
Randy gives me a stern look. "If he is even remotely rude towards you, I'm going to break his face."
"You're worrying about something that isn't even sure to happen anytime soon." I say to Randy.
Randy puts his arm around me. "You don't know Brock, babe."
John gives Randy a serious look. "And you two had problems with each other in OVW."
"I don't want to talk about that."
I look at Randy. "Why not?"
"I just don't."
I nod. "Okay."
Randy rubs my shoulders. "I can't stand him, Rissa. That's all."
I leaned against him. "At least I could warn you guys."
Randy kissed my forehead. "I love you."
"I love you too."
Eve hit a Moonsault and pinned Alicia.
1…2…3!
"Here is your winner, Eve Torres!"
Beth joins Eve in the ring to celebrate. The two look at each other before going to attack Alicia. Kelly and I run down to the ring to save Alicia. Alicia quickly escapes, but the four of us remaining start brawling. Eve and Kelly fight each other. I end up fighting Beth.
Beth and I are fighting so much that we roll out of the ring. She throws me towards the steel steps, but I stop myself from running into them. Beth clubs me from behind, hits my head on the steel steps, and throws me into the barricade.
If I didn't know any better, I'd think that Beth was actually trying to take me out.
Beth grabs a microphone. "You two, us, WrestleMania."
Beth drops the microphone before she and Eve walk towards the ramp. I glare at them as I get up and nod.
I look at Randy. "I think Beth may be trying to take me out of the WrestleMania match."
Randy pulls me into his arms. "She did seem to be going rough on you earlier."
"So it's not just me then?"
"No, I saw it, and I don't like people being rough towards my wife. I don't like seeing her all banged up."
I smiled. "I don't like seeing you all banged up either."
Randy hugged me close to him. "I'm never going to be able to get you to stop worrying about Kane. Am I?"
"Not a chance, Randal."
"I wish you would, but at the same time, I get it. I promise I'll be careful."
"I need you to stop hugging me, or I'm going to get all emotional again."
"You can be emotional, Rissa. There's nothing wrong with that."
"I just…it's hard for me to watch sometimes because I can't stand watching you get hurt. I know you're careful. It's just hard for me to watch sometimes." I whisper as I feel tears in my eyes.
Randy held me close. "I understand. Believe me. I really do understand, Rissa."
"That's nice to know. You claim to have married a badass woman, but I think I'm just an emotional wreck."
"Badasses still cry, Rissa. Everyone cries. It's natural."
"Well, sorry about doing it more than most people."
"I don't think you do. Plus, you've had a lot on your plate these past few months."
"You're not wrong, babe. Hell, I still need to make a plan for your birthday."
"You don't need to worry about that. It's the same day as WrestleMania this year. I'm not too worried about it."
"But I'm doing something anyway. I'll figure something out. Tyler and Kenny are coming to WrestleMania anyway this year. If I can't think of something, then they will."
"You don't have to. Do we have to stay?"
"I don't think so, why?"
"Let's just head to the hotel and rest. Maybe you can stop stressing."
I nod. "Hopefully. Let's go."
