Disclaimer: I Don't own WOF
The servant walked up to the king and said something in a very quiet voice, so quiet he could not hear it.
" Pardon me?"
" There is Rainwing stating that her daughter is here sir. I believe she is the mother of the unknown princess."
His hart skipped a beat at hi words. Her mother? Here? At his palace? It was unbelievable, as if he was dreaming. He must be, the magenta dragon would never visit him in reality. Though, it could be possible.
"Where is she?"
"In the foyer my king," He was already moving before the servant added, "shall I summon the princesses?"
He paused for a moment trying to figured out what he meant before remembering.
"Oh! Yes of course, you do that. I'll go welcome her."
He flew down to the foyer his prize in sight. The glorious dragon was not as he remembered. The magenta scales were now fuchsia with orange and chartreuse accents. The skin of her wings where a bright yellow, and the scales along the front of her legs were aqua. She was magnificent.
Her eyes met his, and his pulse quickened. She looked at him in wonder, and he wondered what she was thinking about.
She came alone, perhaps she has no lover. That was impossible, Aroura mentioned a father figure. Maybe she came not only for her daughter, but to reunite with him as well. No, let's not be unrealistic.
"Hello," was all she said. He held his breath trying to think of what to say.
"Hello"
How original
"You seem well," her voice was as smooth as ice on the cold ocean, like a lullaby sang by the havens.
"Well that's good, things have been quite chaotic lately."
" Aroura hasn't caused any trouble has she?"
"Of course not," he said quickly," It's just my wife, uh ex wife, wasn't very happy about the discovery. Everything is fine now though."
"That's good."
There was a long pause. He couldn't believe this was really happening.
"If you don't mind me asking, Aroura said there was a father figure with you, is he making an appearance."
" Three moons no. I had enough trouble getting here without asking his permission. He doesn't take brake ups very well."
He could barley breath." Brake ups?," he squeaked.
"Yes it's a long story, and a personnel one."
"Then I will not ask."
Another silence.
"It's nice to see you again."
She blushed, and her scales seemed to brighten suddenly.
"You mean after all these years you missed me?" She was joking, he knew that. Why he answered the way he did he did not know.
" More than you can begin to imagine."
Yet again she blushed, and again her scales brightened.
"That was a teenage dream you know."
"Than why has the universe brought us together again?"
" So I can see my daughter."
He knew that she wouldn't feel the same, yet he still tried. He jumped and landed hard on the stone ground.
"Mother!"
The two dragons ran to each other before embracing. Their scales turned shades of pink because of their happiness, only changing back when they separated after a long time. The fuchsia dragon whispered word of love to her dragonet, who replied happily.
"I see you've met father again," she said mischievously.
"Yes I have."
" Did you introduce yourselves?"
"No I didn't. My apologies your highness, I am Grapefruit of the rainforest."
"And I am King Shard of the Ice Kingdome."
The dragonet left her parents alone. She could talk with her mother later, but right now she wanted them to talk.
She returned to her room, not looking around until the door shut with a BANG! When she did, she saw a black and gold dragon staring at her with bloodlust. And her blood went cold.
