Hey guys! Thanks so much for the support! I love you guys so much! Here's another chapter!

Wanda glanced over at Tyra, suddenly aware of another presence. The only problem was, it wasn't Tyra at all. Her irises were now green instead of their normal color.

"Tyra?" Wanda muttered.

Tyra suddenly gave Wanda a mischievous grin followed with a wink in her direction. Wanda grew flustered and had now confirmed that whatever this entity that Tyra had been reluctant to talk about before was here. Now.

"Now father. Do you really want to do this?" Tyra asked.

Tony looked at his daughter in confusion, wondering why the hell she had an accent all of a sudden.

"Um...Shakespeare in the park? What the hell is up with you- -" Tony started.

"It's not Tyra." Wanda barely whispered.

At this, Steve turned to Wanda in surprise as Tony's gaze flickered to the young Maximoff as well. While he couldn't quite hear what Wanda had said, he knew that she had an inkling of an idea for Tyra's behavior.

"What do you mean it's not Tyra?" Steve lowered his voice.

Wanda was unable to form an explanation for Steve, but gave him a fearful look.

"Tyra. This isn't funny, and this isn't a joke. Now you can either step away, or- -" Tony grew frustrated.

Interestingly, Tyra cut her father off with a dry and sarcastic chuckle, seeming so unlike her. Tony stared at his daughter in confusion and soon enough, genuine concern. "What did Wanda tell Steve?", Tony pondered angrily.

No one knew who moved first, but soon enough, both parties were running towards each other as they prepared for the confrontation that was long due. Loki, possessing Tyra momentarily, moved strategically and managed to dodge upcoming attacks from his opponents. Loki could recall Roger's destination and sought to help him get there as he ran alongside him. The youth in the weird red and blue costume swung over and managed to catch him by surprise as he crashed into Loki/Tyra.

"Oh jeez! Sorry about that!" The kid stammered.

Loki rolled his eyes and shoved the young teen off of him before he moved to attack. The young vigilante shouted in surprise as he dodged Tyra's precise and almost elegant attacks. The young teen had witnessed videos of Tyra fighting in action, and it was nothing like this.

"So you're Mr. Stark's daughter?" He asked excitedly. "It's so awesome to meet you in person."

Loki paused in his movements when he saw how this individual acted nonchalant despite the fact that they were fighting. For once, Loki was confused and nearly at a loss for words as the teenager addressed him.

"You know I was trying to just hurt you, yes?" Loki/Tyra spoke.

"Well it's not everyday that I meet Tyra Stark!"

"I'm not- -"

Loki, you better shut your fucking mouth. I thought we were keeping this shit a secret!

"Are you alright?" The teen asked.

Loki hadn't realized he'd been practically keeling over when the child came to him and cautiously placed his hand on Tyra's shoulder.

Stop interfering, woman. I'm trying to give you my aid.

By what? Attacking some stupid teenager in a costume? Just get away from him and go find Steve! We need to help him get out of here safely! If he's in prison, we won't be able to put an end to this. There will be more Winter Soldier's and I can't let that happen!

Loki groaned in pain, but managed to get back up.

"I'm going to spare you for now. The things I do for this woman." Loki grumbled.

With that being said, Loki swiftly struck at the vigilante and took him by surprise before making an escape.

Loki, while using Tyra's Vanir abilities on the fly, had been able to predict that the being with the infinity stone embedded in his skull was coming to stop them at any moment.

What was the girl's name again? Your witch friend?

Wanda. And don't call her a witch please.

"Wanda! Watch out for the being with the infinity stone!" Loki/Tyra yelled.

Wanda gave Tyra a look of worry and confusion before finally noticing what Tyra was referring to. It happened quickly before anyone could say or do anything else; Vision fires a shining beam of energy from his mind stone and the control tower collapses towards the entrance of the hangar. Wanda lets out a shout as she struggles to slow its collapse, hoping to buy Steve, Bucky, and Tyra some time as they make a run for it.

Wanda knows she's going to be apprehended, but she doesn't have to make it easy for them. Suddenly, War Machine descends behind her and fires a sonic disruptor, causing Wanda to holds her head and lose focus as she screams in pain. The tower falls all around Steve and Bucky, but they make it into the hangar where Natasha is waiting for them. Tyra makes it behind them as she uses her Extremis abilities to heat her body and burn her own path through to the hangar.

"You're not gonna stop." Natasha spoke knowingly.

"You know I can't." Steve replied.

Natasha lets out a sigh of defeat, knowing there's nothing she could say or do to persuade Steve to surrender.

"I'm gonna regret this." Natasha mutters.

T'Challa, who's arrived behind the three, is suddenly stunned by Natasha. Momentarily surprised by her actions, the three falter to react until Natasha spoke up once again.

"Go." Natasha ordered.

Tyra stumbles as she holds her head in what appeared to be pain. It didn't take a genius to know that the younger Stark wasn't herself and that she was hiding something. Though it would have to be addressed another time.

"Tyra! Come on!" Bucky shouts.

Tyra makes it a couple of steps before Bucky quickly turns back to catch Tyra as she falls unconscious. Throwing her body over his shoulders, Bucky runs back to the Quinjet as Steve starts it up and the three manage to get away just in time.

"Stark? Stark! Wake up!"

God damn...my head...

I felt my body being cradled against something- -no someone.

"Tyra, for Christ's sake open your eyes."

I groaned softly as I obeyed the command, finding myself in Steve's arms. Steve looked almost afraid of me and I couldn't help but feel incredible guilt. Before I could get a chance to look at my surroundings, Steve grabbed my chin gently and stared directly in my eyes. I could feel my face flush under Steve's gaze.

"You scared the shit outta me." Steve breathed out.

"Sorry." I muttered quietly.

"Would you care to tell me what exactly happened to you?" Steve asked.

"I uh...don't really think it's something I should talk about at this moment in time." I nervously replied. "Not that I won't tell you...just not now."

"With everything going on right now, I don't think now's the best time." Bucky gave Steve a stressed look.

Steve sighed deeply before wrapping his arms around my waist to help me stand.

"Steve...it'd just be too much for you right now. We need to focus on helping Bucky." I told him.

"No...let's just get it out in the open." Steve snapped. "We've got time before we get to where we need to go. So tell me. Now."

"Steve, come on- -"

"No. No more games. You're reminding me of- - Steve paused as his eyes widened in realization.

And he must have figured it out...

Steve Rogers is more perceptive than I believed him to be.

It was then that Steve had a moment of clarity.

"Of what?" Bucky raised an eyebrow.

Bucky put the jet in autopilot as he moved to stand next to Steve. It was clear that Steve already knew the answer to mostly everything.

"How long has it been happening? You told me before that you were hearing...voices." Steve remembered. "That Wanda was helping you figure things out."

"Voices?" Bucky looked at Steve skeptically.

Steve gave him a brief look of annoyance before turning his attention back to me again.

"Yeah...she did help me quite a bit. She told me to accept it and let it in, that I shouldn't try to ignore it or things would get worse. She thinks that something, or rather someone, has connected their mind with mine. She couldn't figure it out herself, but that's the best she could come up with." I reluctantly replied.

"And based off of your behavior earlier, I can already tell that you know who's been in contact with you." Steve nodded.

"Yeah..." I sighed. "In my defense, I literally just found out not that long ago. Like quite literally at the airport."

"Who and what are we talking about?" Bucky asked out of frustration.

"Loki." Steve and I muttered in unison.

"He's been alive this entire time...somehow faked his death." I grit my teeth together. "After everything he's fucking done...I somehow...I cared about him. It's like a real bad case of Stockholm Syndrome, am I right?" I laughed bitterly. "He killed Coulson in front of me, tried to kill my father and everyone I care about, tried to use my premonitions for his own gain, and...even after all the terrible things he did...I...I felt like we had some type of connection, that we understood each other."

I turned away from Steve and Bucky and hugged myself.

"I think I know how he did this to me though...when he shot me with that purple energy in Germany. I think he somehow interlinked our minds together. He probably didn't know about it at first, or he knew exactly what he was doing the entire time. I feel like a fucking moron. I thought I was going delirious or insane. I just don't know why he chose to contact me after...Sokovia..." I glared at the floor.

I heard Steve move over to me slowly before he carefully placed a hand on my shoulder. I let him turn me around and pull me into an embrace.

"I don't like...being a Vanir. Loki said it was a gift, but...it's more bothersome than it is useful. The premonitions I get confuse me and sometimes...they throw me off and I can't decipher them in time before said events take place...I feel so...useless, that I can't have something go our way." I explained.

"You tried warning everyone about what you saw...you did what you could. Maybe it was just supposed to happen this way. You can't let these things get you down." Steve lowered his voice. "I know you care about the safety of everyone, you care about everyone else more than you care about yourself. You just...you have to try. You have to move forward and not focus so much on what could have been. I know it's not easy having your abilities, but you'll understand them someday. It just takes time."

I slowly returned Steve's embrace before leaning back a little only to see that small smile on his face. I could only feel myself smiling back at him before pressing a kiss to his lips.

"You're too good to me and I'm lucky to have someone like you in my life." I told him sincerely.

Steve let out a small chuckle at that before he put a palm to my cheek and moved to kiss me again. I practically melted against Steve as we continued kissing and I gently bit his bottom lip before pulling away. Before Steve could do anything else, we heard an awkward cough and remembered that Bucky was literally standing right near us this entire time. Steve let out another chuckle and pulled himself away. I smiled at Bucky and Steve and made a move to go sit down until I felt a tingling sensation in my head. It was almost piercing and sharp, but I knew all too well that it meant that I would be having a premonition very shortly. My vision blurred as I let out a gasp of pain. The last thing I could see before I spaced out entirely was Steve's scared expression and a shout of my name.

FLASH!

Tony stares at the screen as the scene before us had him completely captivated, his eyes glistening with tears as he just witnessed his parent's deaths right before his very eyes. He had never seen eye to eye with Howard, but when Barnes strangled the life out of poor and helpless Maria with just one arm...

Something had snapped within Tony Stark.

"Did you know?" Tony barely utters to Steve.

"I didn't know it was him- -" Steve began.

"Don't bullshit me, Rogers! Did you know?!" Tony snapped.

FLASH!

I ran over and stood in between my father and Steve. I was struggling to keep my emotions in check, mostly because I'd never seen that video footage of Barnes murdering my grandparents.

But I knew it wasn't James. That was what HYDRA had done to him.

"Dad, please. Look at me." I pleaded. "I know what this looks like, but it wasn't him- -"

"Tyra. For once, don't. Just stay out of my way." My dad had a murderous look in his eyes.

"Daddy please." I choked back a sob.

At this, my dad froze and blinked back more tears.

"I can't imagine how you must feel right now, but I can't let you do this. I can't let hatred consume you like it once did me. I love you. You hear me? I love you." I spoke with sincerity.

"Don't say that." Dad let out a shaking breath. "Stop it."

"I'm not gonna take it back, because I mean it." I told him. "Please don't do this. I'm begging you. It will not bring you any peace. It won't...it won't bring her back."

FLASH!

"She's okay. She just fainted." Bucky assured Steve.

"No...I know that look. She's having one of her...visions." Steve muttered.

Steve brings the Quinjet down onto icy land besides Zemo's caterpillar truck on the isolate mountain they've arrived at. The jet's wings fold up beside the fuselage.

"She's coming to, I think." Bucky noticed me shuffling.

I softly groan and sit up, looking at Bucky with a terrified and hurt expression. Bucky looks confused as he kneels back down to where I'm sitting so we're at eye level.

"You alright?" Bucky asked out of concern.

I felt like I'd been lied to, and this specific premonition that I kept having had finally made sense. Howard and Maria Stark's tragic end was never an accident, it was murder. I only ever assumed since revealing HYDRA within SHIELD that HYDRA was behind the car accident that killed my grandparents in 1991, but that was never the case at all. James Barnes, or the 'Winter Soldier' at the time of said murders, was under HYDRA's control and used to kill the Stark's. It was unsure if Howard Stark was the main target being one of the founders for SHIELD or if he did something to piss them off.

I could tell that Bucky must have remembered doing these heinous acts, and I could definitely see that Steve had known about it for quite some time though I didn't even know how. Either way, it was the sole reason all of us were gathered here. Zemo intended to show these videos to us, probably knowing that my father would have such an intense reaction and break him. It was the moment of truth: where our allegiances would lie after this. The Avengers would be officially over, my family torn apart. The only thing I couldn't figure out was Zemo's motive for all of this. Zemo was probably never after the Winter Soldiers in cryogenic stasis, he just wanted to lure us here.

Did they think that by not telling me, they'd be protecting me? Then again, I'm a goddamn hypocrite when it comes to keeping secrets to protect others. But still- -!

"Before I start fucking screaming at the two of you, is there something you'd like to tell me that involve my grandparents?" I questioned them.

Steve and Bucky grow tense as they realize exactly what I'm referring to.

"So...you know then." Bucky barely utters.

It takes everything within me not to punch Bucky as he says this, and I can feel my body shaking with anger.

"I know you want to hurt me. I won't stop you." Bucky said.

Bucky wasn't to blame here, and HYDRA is done for. HYDRA is gone.

I clench my fists tightly at my sides as I stand up, but don't give in to my desires. There was a reason Steve and Bucky chose not to disclose this information with me. I needed to know why.

"Tyra. Look at me. That wasn't Bucky." Steve told me.

"That doesn't matter." I shook my head.

"Of course it does- -" Steve tried arguing.

"No. It doesn't." I lowered my voice dangerously.

I began making my way out of the Quinjet.

I had to stop Zemo before my father got here. If I didn't, it would be the final straw, the rift between the Avengers would be finalized, and there would be no Avengers. Based from the vision, it was much more clearer. Zemo wasn't trying to re-awaken the other Winter Soldiers as he made us believe, I don't think it was ever about that. He just wanted to destroy the Avengers out of revenge for his lost family.

As I stormed out of the Quinjet, the cold breeze fanned my face while I pulled up my sleeve to reveal my wrist watch. I quickly began pulling up a holographic screen as I gained access of my father's tracking device implanted in his armor. He wasn't far from us at all and now I knew to move fast and get to Zemo. Bucky and Steve reluctantly came out of the Quinjet as well, right as the holographic screen from my watch vanished. I turned to face the two one last time, and I could tell that the grim look on my face was making them nervous.

"Tyra, please let us explain."

"By the time you two do that, my father will already be here." I snapped. "Just make sure you two keep him at bay and distract him. He can't go in there."

"And what? You go in there by yourself?" Steve's eyes widened.

"Actually, yes." I replied harshly.

"Tyra wait!" Steve shouts from behind me.

I wipe away my tears angrily as I ignore Steve's shouts, going into the base by myself.

I ran down corridor after corridor, before stopping into a ginormous chamber filled with strange looking capsules. I peer inside and see the fresh corpses of the would-be Winter Soldiers that HYDRA had created. I can feel a chill go down the back of my spine and course through my body at the eeriness that filled the atmosphere.

I gotta keep moving...I can't let my dad see those videos. I just can't. No one should ever have to see their mother or father die like that.

"Zemo! Show yourself! This shit ends here and now! I'm not letting you get away with what you've done over some petty revenge scheme!" I taunted him.

Over a loudspeaker, I can hear Zemo's voice ring through the entire base.

"P- -Petty revenge?" Zemo muttered furiously, his Sokovian accent becoming more evident. "What the hell would you know?"

"I know that your wife and child would be ashamed that you've killed innocent people just to 'avenge them'. They'd want you to move on and live your life peacefully, not go down this path." I replied. "You're fucking sick."

I continued walking throughout the chamber, keeping a close eye out for my target as I attempted to make conversation with him in hopes to distract him.

"Don't talk about them as if you knew them. Shut your mouth this instant." He hissed angrily.

"Yeah, like I'd listen to you. Why don't you come here and make me?"

"You think I'd be foolish enough to come to you? I know what you are: a mutated monster, a weapon, a Stark."

"Don't forget half a god." I quipped back.

"When you die, I'll make sure it'll be by my hand."

"You're gonna have to get in line for that. I think there's a lot of people that want me dead, so you're not the first." I chuckled sarcastically.

"Unfortunately, you won't be dead today, I have other plans in store once your little friends and father arrive."

"What? That little footage of my grandparent's deaths? I already know about it. I hate to break it to you, but my father won't be here to see that." I smirked.

"W- -WHAT?" Zemo shouted.

"Stop wasting your time before I come to get you myself. I can melt your ass cheeks faster than you can say 'uncle'." I snarled.

After several seconds of silence, I can hear Zemo chuckling quietly. Immediately, I get into a fighting stance as I prepare myself for whatever Zemo has planned.

"You'll keep dreaming and wish you had. Your friends are here...and so is your father."

My eyes widened dramatically when I could hear footsteps in the distance. I was planned for anything but that.

WHAT THE FUCK?! I TOLD THEM TO KEEP MY FATHER OUTSIDE!

"TYRA! Are you here?!" I heard Steve shout.

FUCK! FUCKITY FUCK!

I felt a pinch in my neck, and realized that Zemo had made his way over behind me, holding a needle in his hand. Before I can say or do anything, my body slumps backward and Zemo has his arms wrapped around me. One of his hands clamps over my mouth while he drags me, and everything becomes a blur from there.

You have got to be kidding me?! What the fuck?! I can't believe he fucking snuck up behind me! How did I let my guard down?! FUCK!

Zemo holds my body up against him as he makes his way back to the small control station he'd been hiding in earlier during our conversation, and smirks as he manages to lure Steve, Bucky, and my father inside the huge chamber. where he traps them all. They see that the Winter Soldiers are all dead and then grow tense.

"Steeve...da...daad." I slurred.

"Sssh. It's okay. I used the highest dosage I had for someone like you, enough to kill an elephant really. Whether you live or die matters not to me." Zemo breathed into my ear. "Now, watch as I destroy what you tried so hard to protect."

I struggle with all of my might, but can only move a finger. It's like being trapped within your own body and not being able to say or do anything. I'd never felt as powerless as I did then and there. Sweat trickled down my forehead as I continued to fight against whatever drug I'd been injected with.

NO! I CAN'T LET HIM DO THIS!

Tyra. Think about it. This was meant to happen.

Loki?! What?! Get out of my head, you bastard!

I'm not saying this to taunt you, or to bring you any pain. I simply mean this: sometimes the universe has other plans. You can't change the course of history or it could bring devastation to those you claim your life to protect.

Like...like the butterfly effect?

I don't know what that is...

Small changes, or big changes...like the chaos theory. In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the basically the subtle need on initial situations in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear scheme can result in large alterations in a later state.

I see. Well, that is exactly what I mean then. Like my...defeat...in New York, it was always meant to happen, though it angers me. You may be able to make these subtle changes, or big changes, but that doesn't mean you should.

You...you really think that this was meant to happen? This is so fucked up. I can't let my father see this- -it'll destroy him!

It's something he needs to know about. You can't protect everyone, Tyra. Even Thor knows this. Believe me, he's tried to before. So had Odin. Look where that lead to.

My mouth lazily moved, but no sound would come out but my heavy breathing. Zemo held my head up with one hand as he made me watch the scene before us.

"If it's any comfort, they died in their sleep. Did you really think I wanted more of you?" Zemo spoke up.

"What the hell?"

"I'm grateful to them, though. They brought you here."

As soon as Steve spots us in the control room, he hurls his shield at the control room window, but it flies back.

"Please, Captain. The Soviets built this chamber to withstand the launch blast of UR-100 rockets." Zemo rolled his eyes.

Once my father sees that I'm with Zemo, anger flickers in his eyes once he sees my current state.

"I'm betting I could beat that." Tony replied.

"Oh, I'm sure you could, Mr. Stark. Given time. But then you'd never know why you came." Zemo said.

"You killed innocent people in Vienna just to bring us here?" Steve lowered his voice dangerously.

"You can save your spiel, Captain. This young ferocious lady has already done that. I thought about nothing else for over a year. I studied you. I followed you. But now that you're standing here, I just realized... there's a bit of green in the blue of your eyes. How nice to find a flaw." Zemo smiled darkly.

"You're Sokovian like Tyra said. Is that what this is about?" Steve asked.

"Sokovia was a failed state long before you blew it to hell. No. I'm here because I made a promise." Zemo tightened his hold on me.

Steve studies Zemo before his gaze flickers to me. I blink once, hoping that would give Steve some sort of confirmation. Steve nods at me, and I inwardly sigh in relief.

"You lost someone?"

Zemo looks grave as he clicks his tongue, finally setting everything in motion as he uses his free arm to play the surveillance footage from December 16th of 1991.

"I lost everyone. And so will you. An empire toppled by its enemies can rise again. But one which crumples from within? That's dead... forever." Zemo concludes.

My body slumps forward again, and I lose consciousness.

"Tyra. Wake up, you foolish woman."

My eyes blink tiredly as my vision focuses. Around me, all I see are small specs of light that fill this endless void I stand in. I see Loki standing right in front of me, his face grim as he stares at me.

"So why would you tell me that you'd help me if you were only going to tell me that I can't change anything anyway?" My voice shook. "Why do I always let you deceive me?"

"I...I am sorry." Loki mutters.

"No you're not. Just shut the fuck up for once and leave me alone." I closed my eyes and shook my head. "I'm done letting you manipulate me for your own gain. Whatever this interlink is, you better fix it. I'm done."

At this, Loki smiles before placing a hand on my cheek and forcing me to look into his eyes. I allow him to hold me because it felt strangely comforting.

"It was amusing at first, but now...I can see how broken you truly are. It makes me...unsettled." Loki spoke sincerely. "I thought I would enjoy destroying you for everything you'd done to me. But now? It only angers me to see you this way."

"Wait...what?" I stared at him in shock.

"I don't know why I'm so infatuated with you of all beings. You genuinely intrigue me, Tyra Stark."

Loki leans in closer, his lips barely brushing mine.

"I just want you all to myself. To use however I want...and you...to use me however you want." He breathes out.

"What the fuck are you saying here?" I snarled at him.

Loki seems to recollect himself before he pulls away finally from me.

"I honestly don't know." He shrugs nonchalantly. "But. Just one more thing...I'll never be done with you as long as you have use for me."

"I think you do know. So you better spill the beans, because I'm done playing your fucking games, Loki. You hear me?! I'm done!" I snapped.

"No...you're not." Loki smiles at me knowingly.

"YES I AM." I glare at him.

Loki clicks his tongue and shakes his head before he turns away and walks off into the darkness of the void.

"Ta ta~" Loki's voice echoes.

FLASH!

"Hmmm...well her vitals seem good. Normally, that'd be enough to tranquilize and kill a elephant." A voice murmured.

Wait...what?

"Ah...it appears she's waking." The voice speaks calmly.

I slowly open my eyes and notice that I'm being cradled against someone's chest. He has a stethoscope, which has me believe that I'm in a hospital before I notice the clothing that this man is wearing.

A red cloak and a...what the hell is this guy wearing? A fucking tunic? Not a hospital uniform...

"Ms. Stark. Can you hear me?" The man holds me up straight.

I try to speak, but it comes out in gurgles before my head slumps down again.

Great...I'm still drugged...which means...I was just moved here fairly recently. But where is here?

"Blink once for yes, and two for no alright?" The man instructs.

I glance at the stranger suspiciously, but does as he says anyway.

"You remember who you are correct?" He asked.

I blink once.

"Ah good, no amnesia. That drug you were injected with is really hard to come by. Now let's see..." The man hums quietly. "Ah yes, I should introduce myself."

I tense up as I wait in anticipation, staring at this mysterious man for what seems like minutes. Finally, he regains himself and focuses back on me.

"Right. Yes. I um...I don't know if you've heard of me. I was quite well known in the medical field."

Oh my god, just fucking say your name already.

"It's nice to meet you, Ms. Stark. I'm Dr. Stephen Strange."

AAAaaaaaaaannnd! That's the end of Civil War! I am so sorry that it took me this long to update! I graduate this May, and along with my school work and personal life, it was very difficult to keep writing as frequently as I used to. But rest assured! I will be able to move on to Thor Ragnarok now! So yes! Everything will tie together! I know the ending must have been random, but I did it for a reason as you could tell! Everything will make sense eventually! I have a plan! Well 12% of a plan! But bear with me guys! Anyway, let me know what you thought of this chapter! And I'll post as soon as I can alright? :D Love you guys!
