I'm just on a roll with all of these upcoming chapters! :D On to...INFINITY WAR! So if you haven't seen the movie, go see it and read this later, because there WILL be spoilers! That's your warning! Without further ado, enjoy the chapter!

The first time Stephen invites me to sleep in his bedroom, it's not for sex, he just has the need to hold me in his arms. We make out for a couple of minutes, but surprisingly it doesn't escalate from there. The second time it happens, Stephen doesn't even need to ask, I just follow him to bed and we fall asleep together. From then on, I start going to my own bedroom less, and stay with Stephen. It felt extremely nice to be the little spoon, and I felt at ease, no...at peace with myself, for the first time in what seemed like eternity.

Before I realize what's happening, the two of us are spending more time together, and not just for training or for learning new spells. We start going out into the city more, going on 'dates', and even travel parts of the world neither of us had gone to before. While Stephen is still a little arrogant when it comes to his intelligence, I find myself able to keep up with him and even rival his own intellect. Stephen, one day, conjures up a portal to the fucking Eiffel Tower just for the hell of it. He enjoys my reactions to say the least.

Ever since we shared our memories, our entire lives, to each other, it's as if we've become even closer than ever before. Even as a, dare I say, as a couple. Even fathoming the thought of actually having a relationship with someone, having a boyfriend, baffles me and I'm not quite used to it. Stephen doesn't bring up this conversation, and I wonder if it's because he's being patient with me and doesn't want to spring up anything that might make me uncomfortable.

I grab my laptop and pull up Spotify, trying to relax myself with some music. On the top charts playlist, I hear the artist Post Malone's song called Stay. The song itself is extremely mellow despite his usual music, and I find myself bobbing my head to the melody. I turn up the volume before going to sit down, and stare at the burner cell phone I'd been hiding from Stephen for months, before he began to trust me.

~Tell me that it's all okay (tell me that it's all okay)

I've been waitin' on this all damn day (waitin' on this all damn day)~

I dial my father's number, and await to hear his voicemail again as I listen to the faint dial tone. However, I hadn't anticipated him actually answering the damn phone call.

~Call me in the mornin', tell me how last night went

I'm here, but don't count on me to- -~

I hit the pause button on my laptop as I hear my father speak up on the phone. For a minute, I can sense his confusion over the line, but then he quiets down.

"Tyra? Is that you?"

I can barely hold back my excitement and fail to hide the smile on my face.

"Hey dad." I murmured softly.

"...so...how's it goin', sweetums?" Dad casually speaks.

"I can tell you're trying to track down this phone, you know." I let out a breathy chuckle.

"You're point being?" I can picture him smiling.

"Listen. I'm just...I'm glad that you're okay. You sound better than you normally do. How's the mentoring going for that Parker kid?" I bring up.

"Well we had our ups and downs...he's a little menace, more so than you were might I add. But he's a good kid...you'd like him. His infinite references to Pop Culture rival your own." He replies cheekily.

"Good to know."

"Not that I don't appreciate you calling me to let me know you're still breathing, but...how have you been?" He voiced his concern.

"I've been okay. I don't know how much I should tell you, but...I feel like I've found myself, you know? And the person that saved me from Zemo...it's so..." I paused. "You know I've never felt so elated before. Like genuinely happy that someone understands me. Like how you and Pepper kind of clicked when you realized your feelings for each other. It's like I've experienced that for the first time in my life."

"Who's the lucky guy?...or girl..." My dad chuckled.

"You know, as much as I'd like to tell you, I don't know if now is the right time. But I'm being well taken care of, and...and I've actually figured out my Vanir abilities. Can you believe that?" I smiled.

"That's great. I'm...I'm seriously glad you're alright. I don't think I've heard you this happy since...well maybe since before..." My dad trailed off.

"Since before what?" I lowered my voice.

"Since Obadiah. Since Afghanistan...Things just spiraled out of control after I returned, and a lot of pressure was just put on you after Fury first contacted us. I should have done more to protect you from that..." Dad muttered softly.

"You tried the hardest you could with what you were given. You always tried to make the best out of everything. Hell...you helped bring me out of my shell more. You're a great dad." I blinked away tears. "And I'm sorry I didn't get to tell you that enough."

"Sweetums, you're acting like your mother did when she was pregnant." Dad let out a small chuckle. "Wait a minute..." He mumbled.

When I hear someone's footsteps, I'm quick to end the call.

"I gotta go. I love you. Bye."

I hang up on my dad before pressing the play button on my laptop again and try to go back to reading when I hear the footsteps get closer to my position.

~Stay a little longer if you convince me

And tell me all the things that you have against me

Every time we make-up, the truth is fadin'

Everybody's blind when the view's amazin'

Damn, who are we right now?

Can we have a little conversation?

Figure it out with no intoxication?

We carry on, what is our motivation?

We're never wrong, how the hell we gonna make it?~

"When did you get that laptop?" Stephen asked.

"I got it a while ago." I replied with a smile.

"Oh really?" Stephen gave me an amused expression.

"Don't worry. I haven't been emailing anyone or whatever. I was just tech-deprived for far too long." I chuckled.

"You don't have to lie, you know. You're pretty bad at it." Stephen snorted. "It was just your father right? It's alright. I can tell you've been missing him."

I find myself surprised that Stephen was so calm that I'd actually been in contact with anyone after the last argument we had several months ago, but I can tell it's because we've learned to trust each other.

"I have." I confessed. "But I haven't mentioned anything crucial, I promise you. There's just too much to talk about that I'd rather do in person, you know? My old man can wait. Plus, he's got Pepper and his wedding to plan." I smiled.

"I just need to protect the Sanctum. Its safety is important to me. I mean...if you really wanted to...you could leave. You've done more than enough for me, and...I'm sure I've kept you here long enough." He mumbles softly.

I then look at Stephen in shock, clearly unsure of how to respond to something like that at first.

~Maybe we're used to this

Tell me, what are we to do?

It's like we only play to lose

Chasin' pain with an excuse

I love that shit and so do you~

"Stephen. I'm here because I want to be. You're not forcing me to be here. I've been focused on learning more about myself and my powers, and...taking on these new studies. Plus, I've grown quite fond of you." I replied.

Stephen gives me a warm smile and tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Plus all the mind-blowing sex is great." I joked.

Stephen rolls his eyes at me fondly, before placing a kiss to my forehead.

~But don't break your back for me

I'll put you out of your misery~

"Stephen. Do you want me to leave?" I grow serious. "Because if I'm distracting you from your duties as Sorcerer Supreme, just say the word and I can go."

"Don't ever say stupid shit like that again please. I've grown quite fond of you too. The mind-blowing sex is a bonus though." He smirks.

I playfully hit his arm before leaning against him and resting my head on his shoulder.

~Tell me that it's all okay (tell me that it's all okay)

I've been waitin' on this all damn day (waitin' on this all damn day)

Call me in the mornin', tell me how last night went

I'm here, but don't count on me to stay~

"Good talk." I muttered.

FLASH!

"Thanos is coming... He's coming." Bruce shifted back to his human form.

I stare at Bruce in worry and immediately move to help him as Stephen and Wong stare at him in confusion.

"Who?" Stephen mutters.

"Tyra! How the hell did you get here? Where's your father? We need Tony right now!" Bruce shouts in a panic.

"Nice to see you too. We've got a lot to catch up on, but I can tell due to your expression that this is a very serious matter. In which case, I'll bring you to him." I merely reply.

Bruce looks at me in hurt and confusion, but I briefly ignore it when I pluck a strand of my own hair, and quickly perform the spell to locate my father and conjure a portal. Before us is a view of a park, and in the distance, I see my father walking with Pepper with an extremely eager look on his face. I feel guilty immediately.

FLASH!

Thanos emerges and looks to the distance to find Stephen sitting on the remains of a pillar.

"Yeah, you're much more of a "Thanos"." Stephen notes.

"I take it that Maw is dead? This day extracts a heavy toll. Still, he accomplished his mission." Thanos replies.

"You may regret that. He brought you face to face with a master of the mystic arts." Stephen warns.

"Where do you think he brought you?" Thanos retorts.

"Let me guess, your home?" Stephen raises an eyebrow.

Thanos uses the Reality Stone, making an illusion of the planet Titan previous to its extinction.

"It was. And it was beautiful. Titan was like most planets: too many mouths, not enough to go around. And when we faced extinction, I offered a solution." Thanos explained.

"Genocide." Stephen glares at Thanos.

"At random. Dispassionate, fair. Rich and poor alike. They called me a madman. And what I predicted came to pass." The tyrant spoke grimly.

"Congratulations, you're a prophet." Stephen sarcastically remarks.

"I'm a survivor." Thanos claimed.

"Who wants to murder trillions." Stephen scoffs.

"With all six stones, I could simply snap my fingers and they would all cease to exist. You know what I call that? Mercy." Thanos smiles.

"Then what?"

"I finally rest. Watch the sun rise on a grateful universe. The hardest choices require the strongest wills." Thanos mutters.

Strange summons his Mandalas and gets into a fighting stance.

"I think you'll find our wills equal to yours." Stephen challenged.

"Ours?" Thanos questioned.

FLASH!

When I wake up, I find myself in Stephen's arms, and glance out of the ceiling window of the Sanctum to see that it's become sunset. Stephen is lightly snoring, which I find utterly adorable, and realize that the Cloak of Levitation is lying on top of us as some kind of blanket. I feel it move when I get off of Stephen, and start walking out of the Sanctum and into New York City. The premonitions of this Thanos had been coming more frequently than not, and I found myself actually scared. It almost seemed like the end of the world was coming fairly soon.

I pull my hoodie up and walk into a McDonald's nearby, ordering a small fry and a milkshake before moving to sit in a secluded corner of the establishment. The need to know more about Thanos became dire, and what he wanted to accomplish. He said he wanted to wipe out half of humanity, but why? And with the infinity stones, he could become the most powerful creature in the entire universe.

"Holy shit. Are you...Tyra Stark?"

I glance up to find a young teen looking at me. His voice is incredibly familiar, and I stare at him suspiciously as he takes off his backpack and sits at the seat across from me.

"Can I help you with something, kid?" I ask politely.

"N- -no! I just...I've heard so many great things about you! And you seem so cool and- -"

His voice...why is that voice familiar?

"Did you happen to be at an airport fairly recently? Like in Germany perhaps?" I raise an eyebrow.

The kid immediately tenses up, knowing exactly what I'm referring to.

"Ah, so you're that guy. Spiderman was it?" I lowered my voice.

He stares at me with wide eyes, like he's a deer in headlights.

"I- -uh...I don't have the slightest idea as to what you are referring to- -" He mutters nervously.

"You can cut the shit, I know who you are." I chuckled. "Your extremely shy and bashful demeanor are what gave you away, along with your voice. It's alright, Peter was it?"

"How did you figure that out so quickly?" He looked impressed. "We've only met like one other time. And...you weren't quite yourself."

"That's a long story, but if you want, I could use the company." I gave him a friendly smile.

"So...why did you leave your father? I thought you'd be with Captain Rogers or something." Peter asked.

"Well, I didn't voluntarily leave. Our little friend Zemo, the guy behind that entire shit storm, drugged me and attempted to throw me off the side of a cliff where I could have actually died powers or not. I was rescued before that could happen." I answered.

Peter nods in understanding, and leans forward as the two of us get to know each other better. He seems like a very mature person for someone his age, and the fact that he was so willing to put others before himself made me see why my father chose to mentor him. Peter was an interesting character to say in the least, and his powers were very complex but interesting.

"If you don't mind me asking...how did you get here exactly?" Peter gave me a look of confusion.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you..." I snorted.

"After all that stuff about you being controlled by another person? I think I can handle it." Peter laughs.

Before I can say much more, I see Wong in casual clothing, walking over in my direction. I immediately stand up and wave Wong over before I give Peter an apologetic look.

"Listen, Peter. It was really great getting to know you. I can see what my father was talking about when he said you were a little bit like me when I was your age, but...I have to go." I informed him.

Peter stands up and grabs my hand before I can go, looking at me in worry.

"You're not in trouble are you? Ms. Stark, if you're being held against your will- -"

My eyes widen in alarm, before I laugh and give Peter a reassuring smile.

"Oh no! It's nothing like that." I said.

I give Peter a friendly hug and ruffle his hair gently as I pull away.

"That guy is just an associate of mine, honey. Listen, I'll see you around. If you're going to report back to my dad, just let him know I'm okay. I'm not in danger. I just can't really tell you guys where I'm currently residing at this moment. It's not exactly open to the public, so not just anybody can show up." I tried choosing my words carefully.

"Ah. Gotcha." He blushed.

"I appreciate you asking though. You're a good kid." I wink at him.

Peter reluctantly lets go and I give him a small wave goodbye as I walk over to Wong. Wong is sipping on an iced coffee as we walk out together.

"Who was that child? You seemed to know him." Wong questions me.

"He's a super-powered teen that's being mentored by my dad." I answer.

Wong nods before he loops his arm with mine.

"Strange was worried sick about you when he woke up. He had no idea where you went. I told him that you came here occasionally, so I offered to check if you were there. Please don't scare your boyfriend again." Wong rolls his eyes.

"Boyfriend?" I blushed.

"Well you two are more intimate than most sorcerers and apprentices. I think I can safely assume that you two are in a consensual relationship." Wong smirks. "I knew it was a matter of time."

"You think you're such hot shit don't you, Beyonce?" I retorted.

"I know I am." He chuckles.

The two of us make it back to the Sanctum, and walk up the stairs together to the meditation room, where we find Stephen reading a book but knowing it's just a distraction. Stephen slams the book shut and gives me a small glare, before he goes to thank Wong.

"Here is your girlfriend, Strange. She was simply eating french fries at a McDonald's." Wong rolls his eyes at Stephen.

"I'm going to ignore that first comment, but thank you Wong." Strange blushes.

"You two have fun." Wong waves goodbye.

As soon as Wong leaves, Stephen folds his arms and returns to giving me a slightly angered expression.

"Before you give me a lecture, I just wanted to get some air. I had some very intense premonitions that I needed time to process. I just didn't feel like waking you up." I give him an apologetic look.

Stephen's expression softens and he lets out a small sigh.

"You worry me sometimes, Stark. I was...concerned that I couldn't find you when I woke up."

"Concerned meaning panicked." I say knowingly.

"...yeah." Stephen admits.

I walk over and hug him, placing my head on his chest. I feel him relax as he wrap his arms around me as well.

"I'm sorry." I murmured softly.

"I can't explain it..." Stephen starts. "I just have the need to be near you all the time. Thank you for tolerating me."

"Tolerate?" I chuckle. "You're a fucking idiot."

"How kind of you to say." Stephen grumbles.

"Well it's stupid that you said that. I...I like you. A lot." I barely utter.

"Well I like you a lot too." Strange responds.

Is he really that dense for someone with a M.D. and a Ph.D.?

"No...I..." I stammer. "I like you."

Stephen eyebrows furrow the longer he stares at me in confusion.

"Right." He mumbles.

"Oh for fuck's sake!" I roll my eyes. "I think I love you, Stephen Vincent Strange! Jesus Christ, I didn't think I was being ambiguous or anything!"

My eyes widened and my hand flew over my mouth at the definiteness behind my words. I pull away from Stephen, who seems to be in shock at this entire altercation. I feel like a bigger fool than the last time I tried actually confessing my feelings for someone, and that someone was Steve Rogers.

"Forget I said anything. I'm sorry." My voice shook.

I run up to my room for the night, but not before locking my door.

The next morning, Stephen barely speaks or even looks at me. I internally sigh in frustration but still attempt to go about my day as normally as I could. I decide to go to Kamar Taj today to study with Wong and perhaps practice combat with spells I learned.

"You seem unfocused, Stark. What troubles you this time?" Wong raises an eyebrow.

"How much do you know about Thanos?" I blurt out.

"Thanos?" He glances at me in surprise. "Why would you want to know of him?"

"Now, don't panic but...that's who I've been having premonitions about as of late. I'm not sure what to make of them, but they terrify me. I think he's coming soon, Wong. I'm...I'm actually scared." I confessed.

"So that's why you've been going for these walks out into the city of New York." Wong noted.

"Please tell me what you know of this guy. He seems like bad news, and if I'm having visions of him, that's probably a bad sign." I give him a serious look.

"Have you told Strange?" Wong asked.

"...he probably has other things on his mind." I blushed.

"What did you do this time?" Wong smirked.

"I...I may or may not have admitted to having some feelings for him. Especially after what you said that night..." I muttered.

Wong's smirk faded instantly and he rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"He didn't respond too well to it did he?"

"I can only assume that due to his lack of response. I shouldn't have said anything." I sighed.

"He'll come around, Stark. I think he feels the same way. You two are connected on a spiritual level that rivals many others. Probably due to that ancient spell you've both performed on each other. You two bared your souls to one another, everything about your lives. It's only natural that you two would become closer in every sense."

"Well I think I basically fucked everything up. He wouldn't even look at me this morning." I scoffed.

"Give it time." Wong advised. "He's probably mulling it over."

"Mulling it over my ass. And stop avoiding my questions. Who is this Thanos guy?" I glared at Wong.

"He is from the planet Titan, and his sole purpose is to bring an end to half of the life in the universe. When his planet had gone extinct, he was one of the few survivors. His goal after that was to exterminate half of the galaxy in order to preserve order. Thanos believes that we're all going to bring ourselves to ruin and wishes to 'save us' from our own extinction. He truly is a mad tyrant." Wong answered. "He will stop at nothing until he accomplishes this mission of his. And he's murdered countless planets along the way."

"Shit." I breathed out.

I walk away from Wong for a minute as I think over his words.

So he wants to end life? To kill half of the galaxy? And he's coming to Earth for what? What could he possibly want?

"Tyra! Calm yourself please." Wong grabs me by my shoulders. "You are hyperventilating."

"S- -sorry."

I try to control my breathing, and the two of us go sit down to have tea together.

FLASH!

"Stephen. I need you to listen to me. They're coming for that infinity stone, and we can't let them have it."

"You think I don't know that?" Stephen runs his hand through his hair in frustration.

"Just hand over the Eye of Agamotto to me. I can travel the galaxy and make sure that Thanos never gets his hands on it."

"You're serious?" Stephen gives me a look of disbelief.

"Now's not the time to argue!" I shout angrily. "I'm more than capable of handling the stone! I've had more experience than you with infinity stones, so what's the problem?"

"Tyra, you don't know what you're asking of me! I can't just give the stone to you!" Stephen snapped.

"Stephen! I saw you die! Give me the fucking stone right now!"

Stephen pauses and falters.

"...what?" He mutters.

"I can't watch you fade away in my arms. Please just give me the Eye of Agamotto." I blink away tears.

"Tyra...you can't..."

"I can and I will." I stand tall.

"Fine. But you give this back to me when this is all said and done, understand?"

I give Stephen a nod, and he reluctantly removes the Eye of Agamotto from around his neck before placing it around my neck. Stephen then mutters something under his breath, until a solid replica of the Eye appears in his hand. He places the replica around his neck and reaches over to me, his fingers grazing my breasts as he tucks the real Eye of Agamotto underneath my shirt after holding it and citing another spell.

"No one can take it off but you and I." Stephen mutters.

His lips graze my cheek, and my breath hitches as I press myself closer to him.

"Stephen." I barely whisper.

"I know."

He places his hand on the back of my head, and smashes our lips together.

FLASH!

Later that evening, I find myself deep in thought about what Wong told me of Thanos. I wondered if I should contact everyone that I knew, until I remember what Peter Parker said the night of our encounter. The Avengers were split up, but at least they weren't in prison.

Well...they escaped prison really.

As I think over my conversation with Peter, I find myself washing dishes in the kitchen to try to relax myself, a last ditch effort in remaining sane I might add.

"Tyra, can we talk for a moment?"

"I don't really think that's necessary. I already know what you have to say to me. I told you to forget it." I grumble.

"Don't be like that, Stark." Strange sighs.

I refuse to turn around as I scrub a pan harder with the Brillo pad in my hand. I can hear Stephen walk closer to me, and grow frantic on finishing the dishes as quickly as possible.

"I'm sorry I've been avoiding you. I've just been thinking long and hard on what you said."

"Avoiding me? I hadn't noticed." I sarcastically reply.

"You're hurt that I didn't say anything. I was just shocked is all. You never cease to surprise me in all the time we've known each other. You're right though. We've only known each other for what? A little over two years?" Stephen raised his voice. "I was merely wondering how I could have..."

He curses to himself and storms over to me, forcing me to turn around and face him.

"Tyra, that spell...I feel like I've known you my entire life, and I like every little aspect about you. I understand how hard it is for you to even open up to someone. I was just shocked that you've opened up to me so much. And...and you know me like no one else ever has because I push them away before giving them a chance. Like...like I did to Christine."

I give Strange a sympathetic look and move to wipe my hands on a towel near the sink. Stephen doesn't hesitate to grab my hands and hold them.

"You've never once made me feel worthless despite these damaged hands of mine." Stephen mutters. "You've accepted every part of me and my life, just like I have of you."

"S...Stephen." I breathe out.

"Fuck..." He lets out a small chuckle. "I think I'm in love with you too."

I nearly feel my heart skip a beat, and will the tears away as I give him a warm smile. I gently ease his hands up, planting kisses on his scarred hands and enjoying that sharp intake of breath from Stephen.

"You can be a real sweetheart sometimes." I give him a tearful laugh. "I was afraid I'd pushed you away for good. I was so scared..."

"Push me away? I thought you knew how stubborn I am by now." He jokes. "It's alright, Tyra."

Tonight, I wake up from what appeared to be a nightmare, and try to control my breathing as to not awake Stephen. I glance down at him and brush his bangs from his face, smiling to myself when I see his nose twitch slightly. I debate whether to get out of bed and go on another walk into the city, but I decide against it when Stephen yawns and stretches his arms until he's wrapped around me. I hear him groan softly as he hugs me like a teddy bear.

"Something on your mind, dear?" Stephen teases lightly.

"It's nothing, you can go back to sleep." I mumble softly.

Stephen gently grazes his fingers up my breasts in a manner that has me shudder against him and press my backside against his groin more firmly. I can feel his erection poking into me and chuckle to myself.

"You have a funny way of greeting me, you know that?" I smirk.

"I'm not hearing a no..." Stephen breathes into my ear seductively.

I smile and reach behind me until I'm grabbing at his ass to pull him closer. Stephen gladly complies and gently ruts against me as he maneuvers my leg around his waist so that my legs are spread a little wider, and pulls my underwear to the side before slipping two fingers inside of me. I moan softly and grind back into him at a slow and steady pace. It's nice not to think about anything for a change, and I gladly welcome the distraction that Stephen provides.

"Stephen..." I pant lightly.

He keeps planting kisses to the side of my neck, stopping just below my ear before he pauses.

"I can tell you want something, but I'm not quite sure what..." He teases.

"If you don't hurry up, I might have to take control." I groan impatiently.

"Oh really? Then it's best not to keep you waiting, huh?" Stephen breathes into my ear.

I hear the slickness of his fingers as he pulls them out of me and I see him raise his fingers to my lips as he shifts behind me to lower his sweatpants.

"Be a dear and clean these for me will you?" Stephen asks.

I gladly comply and open my mouth, tasting myself on his fingers. I jump and hold in my breath when I feel the tip of his cock press into me, barely holding back a moan. I hear Stephen hiss from pleasure and finally, gives one big thrust until he's fully inside of me. He waits for a minute to allow me to adjust before he finally starts to move. For the next several minutes, all I can hear are the sounds of our pants and groans, along with our flesh slapping together. It's something that surprises me, but makes me all the more aroused at how Stephen so easily affects me in every sense. It almost feels like an out of body experience, and I can't even recognize myself or acknowledge that I'm making all sorts of noises that fuels Stephen's hard and powerful thrusts.

"I'm not even touching you and you're already so close." Stephen chuckles smugly.

"S- -shut up. You're so full of- -AH!" I stuttered.

"I mean, you're not wrong."

"You can be...be such a...nnngh!" I moan. "Oh keep doing that! P- -please!"

Stephen gently maneuvers his arm around me, and places his hand to my throat before gently squeezing. I gladly welcome the new sensation as I chase out my pleasure against the man behind me. I can feel myself clench down on him, along with the stuttering of his hips as he lets out a low moan.

"H- -harder." I gasp.

Stephen gladly complies, squeezing my throat just a little more tightly as he continues to drive his hips against mine faster than before. I can feel the budding of an orgasm just out of arm's reach, and when Stephen squeezes my throat again, I can almost see stars as my oxygen is cut off slightly. In an instant, I'm blinded by my orgasm and fall limp in Stephen's arms as he also chases his own pleasure and finishes inside of me not long after. When Stephen releases my throat, I sigh happily and rest against Stephen for a minute in the afterglow of intercourse.

"That...that was fantastic." I rasp gently.

"Sorry I got a little carried away." Stephen mutters tiredly. "Are you feeling better though?"

"I can't even think straight right now." I whisper. "Thank you. How did you know that..."

"I...I just had a feeling that you needed a distraction. You've been more anxious lately, and don't spout out some excuses to soothe my worries. It's okay."

I relax in Stephen's arms and smile to myself as he presses soothing kisses to the side of my neck.

"Thank you." I murmur.

"...I love you too."

I still against Stephen, unsure if I heard him correctly before he repeats himself.

"I'll keep reminding you everyday if I have to." He promises.

I maneuver my arm and place my hand on top of his before giving it a gentle squeeze.

In the morning, the Sanctum is eerily quiet and the only thing that rouses me awake is Stephen's light snoring. I smile as I place kisses to his chest and dress up for the day as I get out of bed, before the Cloak of Levitation flies up to me and wraps itself around me like a bathrobe. I roll my eyes fondly at the cloak and continue about my morning as I walk down to the kitchen to prepare coffee.

"And I thought the Cloak of Levitation only reacted to Strange. It's taken a liking to you as well."

I jump before I turn around to see Wong leaning against the doorway. I offer him coffee, before remembering that he usually drinks Jasmine tea in the morning. The two of us sit together and drink from our mugs after I make him his tea.

"You look beautiful today. Almost glowing." Wong compliments.

I can feel myself blush as well as the cloak wrapping around me more securely.

"Thanks, I think?" I laugh awkwardly.

"You and Strange made up I take it?" Wong smirks.

"Mind your own business, would you?"

We turn to see a tired Stephen entering the room. He's got his sweatpants on again, and an old T-Shirt that has the logo of the Empire State building on it. It looks faded, but I can tell it's a shirt that Stephen's had in his possession for a long time.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did we wake you?" Wong asks almost innocently.

"Don't play coy, Beyoncé. It's not a good look on you." Stephen smirks.

Stephen grabs a mug of coffee before joining us at the table, but not before placing a loving kiss to my cheek as he takes a seat beside me.

"I told you to stop calling me that." Wong grumbles.

Like he hates it. I call him Beyonce all the time.

"Right, my apologies." Stephen feigns innocence.

"Very funny, Strange." Wong rolls his eyes.

The three of us sit together in silence after that and start becoming more awake for the day to come.

I spend most of my day in the Kamar Taj at Wong's request, and find myself helping new recruits that are searching for their meaning in life. I try my best to be patient, and help them as best as I can while I demonstrate most of what Wong and Stephen had taught me in the beginning of my training. It's almost two in the afternoon by the time I finish, and I go back to the New York Sanctum. In the distance, I can hear Stephen and Wong arguing about what to get for lunch, before the entire building shakes from some kind of a crash. I run down the stairs and see a large gaping hole in the stairs as Wong and Stephen are all geared up and prepared for whatever faces them. It's like a sense of déjà vu as I come up to the scene and see a naked Bruce Banner shifting back to human form as the green fades away from his skin.

"Thanos is coming...he's coming." Bruce mutters fearfully.

Stephen and Wong glance at each other before turning back to Bruce.

"Who?" Stephen asked.

I fail to hide my gasp as a wave of nausea courses through my body. I swallow back the bile forming up in my throat and stare down at Bruce with wide eyes.

You have got to be fucking kidding me. Thanos is coming already?

Here you go my lovelies! Let me know what you think! :D
