"So despite the fact you have a match tonight and I don't, I'm not going with you for your match." I tell Randy.

Randy nods. "Okay. Lighten your workload. What are you doing tonight then?"

"Beth is facing Kelly. Since I pinned Layla last night to retain and not Beth, I'm expecting Beth to call me out at some point and challenge me to a match at No Way Out."

"I'm assuming that you're accepting that challenge."

"I sure am. Bring it all on."

"Good for you. I'm hoping to get Sheamus in a singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship if I can."

"That would be good."

"Yeah, it would be."

Someone knocks on the door. I open the door to see Sheamus and Punk standing across from me. I let both of them in and closed the door.

Randy smiles. "Hey, I was just talking about you."

"Which one of us?" Punk asks.

"Sheamus because I want another chance at the World Heavyweight Championship, but it's nice to see you too."

"Thanks."

Sheamus laughs. "We'll see about that, Randy. However, we're here for some pretty serious business, and it's not about you. We're here for your wife."

I raise an eyebrow. "Okay. What's up?"

"Well," Punk starts. "Sheamus and I have been talking, and after last night, we think it may be a good idea if us champions made a pact to support each other if John Laurinaitis goes after one of us like he's done in the past. Sheamus and I are the World Champions, so we thought we'd talk to every other champion in WWE about this."

"Okay, who have you talked to so far?"

"Just you actually."

"We thought you'd be the easiest to convince." Sheamus adds.

I laugh. "You don't have to even convince me. I'm in for sure."

"Okay. We should probably talk to the other champions too. See you two later."

"Bye." Randy and I say as both Sheamus and Punk leave.

Randy looks at me. "That was odd."

I shrug. "Yeah, but I get it."

"Fair enough."

Beth grabs Kelly and hits her with the Glam Slam. Beth pins Kelly.

1…2…3!

"Here is your winner, Beth Phoenix!"

Beth gets her arm raised in the air by the referee before she gestures for a microphone. I watched on from guerilla, knowing where this was probably going.

"Marissa Orton." Beth says as she looks directly into the camera. "Marissa Orton, I hope you were watching that. Who am I kidding? I know you were watching that. You saw how I just annihilated Kelly Kelly, and you're listening to what I'm saying right now. Here's the thing, Marissa, what I did to her is only a fraction of what I'm going to do when I get my hands on you again. You got lucky with retaining the Divas Championship last night, but you didn't beat me. You pinned Layla. I should be entitled to a singles match against you for the Divas Championship. That's why, as of right now, I am challenging you to a match at No Way Out for the Divas Championship. You have two options right now, Marissa. Either you accept this challenge and we go straight to it at No Way Out or you don't accept it and I go have John Laurinaitis or Eve make the match official anyway. The choice is yours. Are you brave enough to face me in a singles match again after how many you've lost to me in recent times?"

I know I want that girl so bad

I lie awake at night

And think of all the things that I would do

With a girl like that…

I walk onto the stage. "Beth, there's no need for you to go plead your case to Eve or Laurinaitis. I accept your challenge. I'm not afraid to face you in this ring. I never have been."

"You should be." Beth responds.

"I'm not afraid of you. I know you want the Divas Championship back, but here's the thing, I don't intend on letting it go. I know how to beat you Beth, and that's exactly what I'm going to do at No Way Out. Once I defeat you there, I'm going to see to it that you're done as long as I'm still champion."

"You can go ahead and make that a stipulation because I won't be losing."

"We'll see about that, Beth. I know how to beat you."

I sat on the couch of my locker-room, looking through the paperwork for my court case on Wednesday as the main event, a two on three handicap lumberjack match, was on. "You know this match is a real abuse of power."

Randy nods as he finishes packing his bag. "No kidding. He stacked the odds heavily against Cena and Sheamus."

"Sheamus is the World Heavyweight Champion. We may have to enact this pact of champions sooner than later."

"Pact of champions?"

"That's what it is, and it was never named. That's what I'm calling it."

"Fair enough."

"I still can't believe Big Show turned on everyone in favor of John Laurinaitis after what Laurinaitis put him through."

"Me either. Hopefully, Cena will drop his ass at No Way Out."

"That's what I'm hoping for. My dad really needs to step in on Laurinaitis though."

"I'm sure Vince will do that sooner than later."

"He probably will. He needs to for sure."

"Just be patient."

"I'm being patient."

"Whatever. Just think about going to court in a couple of days."

"Believe me, I'm looking at paperwork for that, so I am."

"We'll get him for that."

"I know, but it still won't stop him from abusing his power around here."

I watch as Cena gets done asking Laurinaitis about Big Show's whereabouts and Show lays Cena out. I received a text.

Chelle: I hope you nail Laurinaitis with this lawsuit.

Randy looks at me. "Who's texting you?"

"It's Chelle." I reply to Randy before texting Chelle back.

Me: I plan on it.
