SmackDown Filming: May 22, 2012

Randy starts lacing up his boots for tonight. "I don't have a match as of now, but I'll find a way to get one."

I smile at him. "I'm sure you'll do that."

"Are you going to try for one?"

"No, I'd rather not try to with me having court tomorrow. It'd be doubtful that I'd even be able to get one anyway."

"John Laurinaitis isn't here tonight though."

"I know that, but Eve got left in charge."

"Point taken, you two are still pissed at each other."

"I don't think that's changing any time soon either."

"I understand exactly why."

"You know, I was talking to Sheamus earlier."

Randy raises an eyebrow. "Yeah, anything interesting in particular?"

"He told me that if he could have his way, he would defend his World Heavyweight Championship against you at No Way Out."

"That's nice, but we both know he's in the same boat as you and Punk right now. John Laurinaitis and his administration is opposed to giving any of you what you want to have."

"I know. I wish Cena had won at Over the Limit. This wouldn't be a problem then."

"Well, we can't help that, Rissa. Big Show did what he did. Now, the roster has to pay for it."

"Yeah, the roster has to pay for it. I just want him out of power. All he does is put people he doesn't like in bad situations."

"I know. He abuses his power, Rissa. I think he'll be out of power sooner than later."

"Yeah, but then we have to hope that whoever replaces him is not going to do that."

"You're right. Eve is opening the show. I want to push to get my World Heavyweight Championship match against Sheamus. Do you want to come with me?"

I smile. "I'd be delighted to."

I look at Randy as we arrive backstage after confronting Kane, Alberto Del Rio, and Eve in the ring, which lead to Eve making a Triple Threat match between the three men with the winner facing Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Way Out. "So…do you want me to go with you tonight?"

Randy wraps his arms around me. "Yeah, you can come with me for tonight, as long as you want to come."

"I'm going to come with you tonight. I want to watch you wrestle."

"Not gonna happen." Eve says as she walks over to us. "I'm banning you from ringside tonight."

I cross my arms and roll my eyes as I look at Eve. "Whatever, Eve."

"You should've known better than making the people who have power mad at you. I figured since you have some experience with having authority, you would know that, Marissa."

"I know what I'm doing, Eve. Just let me remind you that this position of power that you have is temporary, not permanent."

"We'll see, Marissa. Just remember that I'm running the show tonight, not you. John Laurinaitis is running everything right now, not you."

"You know, Eve, you're gonna have to tell me what it's like."

"Tell you about what?"

"What's it like having essentially the entire roster not like you?" I smirk. "Let's go, Randy."

Randy gave me a serious look as we sat in our locker-room. "You really egged her on."

"I know. I'm just so sick of her."

"I understand. There's gotta be a way to get Laurinaitis out of power. Then, it may be easier to fight Eve off if necessary. She's still pretty new at it."

I smile and kiss Randy on the cheek. "You're a genius."

"I am?"

"You are. I have an idea."

"Okay, you've got my attention now. What's the idea?"

"We should settle this court case tomorrow. When I come around for Raw next Monday, I'm talking to my dad. If he's backstage, I'll find his office. If he's not, I'll call him. I'm not letting this continue on. I own part of this company. I'll be damned if I don't do anything to stop Laurinaitis and his reign of terror."

Randy grins. "Good for you. Other than talking to Vince, do you know where to start?"

I shake my head. "No, but it's me we're talking about. I'll figure it out."

"You sound like you're on a warpath."

"Believe me, Randy, I am on a warpath, and the goal of the warpath is going to be to take John Laurinaitis out of power."

"You have my full support. If you need anything from me, I'm here for you."

"Thank you. How do you plan on handling this Triple Threat match tonight?"

Randy smiled. "Just let me wing it. I've wrestled both of them a lot before. I know what to do to beat them. I'll try my best."

"You do that, Randy."

I sat backstage in my locker-room alone, watching Randy's match against Kane and Alberto Del Rio. I was starting to get anxious about my court date with John Laurinaitis tomorrow as well as that one other thing that could make me nervous.

Three days.

Three days until I have my first therapy session.

It was hard to do this without being able to say something to Randy, but I knew I didn't want to talk about it until after my first session at least. I wasn't sure how it was going to go yet.

Oddly enough, I think I was more anxious about therapy than court.

I'm pulled out of my thoughts by my phone receiving a text. I check my phone.

Tyler: So I still have two more days with Spike, right?

Me: Yes, I have court tomorrow.

Tyler: Okay. Just making sure. I might just keep him anyway.

Me: Get your own dog. Spike is mine.

Tyler: But I love him.

Me: Randy and I will be taking him back on Thursday.

I look back up at the TV to see Del Rio pin Kane to win after Randy had hit Kane with the RKO. That meant no World Heavyweight Championship match for Randy.

Hopefully, the rest of this week would be better than this.
