Raw: May 28, 2012
Randy smiles as he watches me. "Everything alright?"
I nod. "Yeah, why?"
"I just thought you'd be a little more happier after winning the court case."
"I'm not gonna be fully happy until he's gone. Luckily, I have a plan."
"What's the plan?" Randy says as someone knocks on the door.
"If that is who I think it is, you're about to find out." I get up to open the door.
I open the door, and McKenzie is on the other side. I let her in and close the door.
"Hey, Rissa. Hey, Randy." McKenzie says. "You said you needed a favor."
"Hey, McKenzie." Randy replies. "That's all her. I'm in the dark as much as you are."
I give McKenzie a serious look. "How do you feel about John Laurinaitis?"
McKenzie rolls her eyes. "I can't stand him, why?"
I pull out a file. "Because I think you're perfect to do me this favor, that may be a step in getting him out of power."
"What's the favor? Does it have to do with that file?"
"Yes, it does. My father isn't here tonight, and I need this file to make it to him. However, I don't want it to be traced back to me. Can you get this to my dad's paperwork somehow?"
"What if someone asks how I got it?"
"Just say that it ended up being mixed in with your paperwork somehow, and you wanted to make sure it got to Vince. This file does say for Mr. McMahon on it. Do you think you can do that?"
McKenzie takes the file. "Let's get John Laurinaitis out of here."
"Thank you. See you guys later."
"Bye." Randy and I say as McKenzie leaves.
"So…" Randy says. "What's in the file?"
"An in-depth explanation of multiple issues that John Laurinaitis has had with numerous Superstars. I figure if the old man reads it, he may go after Laurinaitis."
"Sounds like a great idea, Rissa."
"I know."
I walk around backstage when I see Punk. I approached him.
He smiles. "Hey, stranger. I heard you won."
I grin. "Sure did."
"So can you confront him on TV now?"
"Honestly, I haven't thought about that at all."
"Are you going to?"
"Not yet, but I can call them out."
"You're going to call them all three out tonight?"
"I won't start with all three tonight. I'll just go for Eve tonight. She'd probably be the easiest. Plus, I have a plan in motion to work on getting John Laurinaitis out of here."
"You have a plan? You didn't tell me that you had a plan."
I look at Punk. "It's very quiet right now. You'll know in a week or two."
"Oh, I see. Do you have anything going on tonight?"
"I successfully caught promo time tonight. I'm going in with nothing planned, just going to let it all come together as I talk."
"Is this where you call Eve out?"
I smile. "Absolutely."
"Good for you. Show her what's up. Might want to say something about Beth since you have to defend against Beth at No Way Out."
"I'll say something about Beth too. I'm not going to leave her out."
"That's good. I hope you raise hell."
"That's the plan."
"You know, with John Laurinaitis having issues with you, me, and Cena, as well as many others, I'm trying to figure out how he still has a job."
"John Laurinaitis still has a job because he's a weasel. He's manipulative and abuses his power against anyone who doesn't like him."
"But after Teddy Long being not in charge of SmackDown, no one has been able to take him on straight up. Cena wrestled him but we know what Big Show did."
"I know, but he already lost the court case. I'm starting to think I have a chance to make this work if I play my cards just right."
Punk sighs. "Well, I wish you the best of luck, and if you need help, I'm here. Just be careful. We both know that he plays dirty."
"I know. Thanks, Punk."
I know I want that girl so bad
I lie awake at night
And think of all the things that I would do
With a girl like that…
I enter the ring and grab a microphone. I take a minute to take in the crowd as they chant for me.
"Last week, right here on Monday Night Raw, Beth Phoenix issued the challenge for me to defend my Divas Championship against her at No Way Out." I say as I start to address the audience. "I accepted her challenge without any hesitation. Even if I didn't accept it, the boss would've made it anyway because he doesn't like me. I'm not naming names or anything, but we all know exactly who I'm talking about. Hell, if he wouldn't have made it, Eve would've because she's pretty well up his ass. Enough of that, back to my point, Beth and I are having another Divas Championship match at No Way Out. This is like the sixth singles match we've had for the Divas Championship since SummerSlam of last year. Let me think here. It was SummerSlam, Night of Champions, Hell in a Cell, Vengeance, and Elimination Chamber. So this one at No Way Out should be our sixth match. Of course, Beth was Divas Champion for quite some time, and the reality is that she actually won more of those matches. I won at SummerSlam and Night of Champions, but she won at Hell in a Cell, Vengeance, and Elimination Chamber. I'll admit that. However, I did win matches where Beth and I were on opposing sides at both Royal Rumble and WrestleMania by pinning Beth herself, so it's almost like four to three instead of two to three. Also, at about the time of WrestleMania, something in me changed. Last year, my head admittedly wasn't fully in my Divas Championship reign. However, my head is back in professional wrestling all the way, and my Divas Championship is my main priority, so at No Way Out, I'm going to prove John Laurinaitis and his whole administration wrong. I'm looking at you, Eve. I'm going to prove Beth Phoenix wrong, and I'm going to prove all the doubters wrong when I walk away as still the WWE Divas Champion."
("Glamazon" plays)
Beth walks out onto the stage with a microphone in her hand. "You know what, Marissa? I hope you keep this attitude up. I'll be glad to crush your spirit at No Way Out permanently."
Beth heads backstage as her music starts to play once more. I look at my Divas Championship before raising it in the air.
Let the games begin.
