SmackDown Filming: June 12, 2012

Layla sits with me in my office. "So you don't know what you're going to do with Randy tomorrow?"

I sigh. "Not one bit. I have to endure a car ride with him tomorrow."

"Are you sure? He could always get your brother or cousin to do it."

"I know Randy wants to talk. He'll take the chance. Plus, I ignored a phone call from my brother last week. He may not be willing anyway."

"Yeah, some siblings don't take well to that. You'll just have to see what happens with Randy."

"I guess you're right."

"Everything will work out, Rissa. Just find something to talk about."

"I guess I'll have to see how things go tomorrow."

"That's all you can do."

"I wish this wasn't an issue for me and Randy."

Layla gives me a serious look. "You two are going to get through it."

"We better. I need to get this handled sooner than later."

"Rissa, look at me. You've got this. Just worry about tonight for now. What do you have tonight?"

"I have nothing tonight, but Beth is wrestling tonight. I'm going to make an appearance. Five days until No Way Out, might as well go cause some trouble."

Layla laughs. "That sounds like Marissa Orton."

I laugh. "That's just pure Marissa Orton right there. Trust me. It wouldn't be right if I didn't go cause some trouble."

"Well, you did interrupt John Laurinaitis last night."

"I did. It felt good too, even though Sheamus and I didn't win our Mixed Tag Team match last night."

"But let's be real here, Rissa, you and Sheamus will both win at No Way Out this Sunday."

"I know. After that, Beth can't go after the Divas Championship until I drop it to someone else."

Layla laughs. "That'll probably be a while."

"Yeah, I want to keep my Divas Championship for a while. I'll be glad to defend against someone who isn't Beth though."

"Fair enough. Beth and you have had a lot of Divas Championship matches."

"No kidding."

("Pa-Pa-Pa-Pa-Party" plays)

"The following Divas match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Alicia Fox!"

("Glamazon" plays)

"And her opponent, from Buffalo, New York, the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix!"

Beth and Alicia circle around the ring, waiting for the bell to ring.

I know I want that girl so bad

I lie awake at night

And think of all the things that I would do

With a girl like that…

I make my way towards the ring. Beth glares at me.. I grab a chair and set it up to sit right by the announce table. I sit down and wave at Beth.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Alicia goes to hit Beth with a Clothesline. Beth avoids it and hits Alicia with a Backbreaker. Beth then glares in my direction. I smile and look at my Divas Championship that is sitting on my shoulder. Beth lifts Alicia up into the air and hits a Glam Slam. Beth pins Alicia.

1…2…3!

"Here is your winner, the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix!"

Beth gets her arm raised in the air by the referee. She glares at me before rolling out of the ring. Beth gets in my face. I stand up and get in her face.

"That Divas Championship will be mine this Sunday at No Way Out!" Beth yells.

I roll my eyes. "No, it won't. I've been the Divas Champion since Extreme Rules, and it's going to stay that way for a long time!"

"You said that the last time you defended the Divas Championship against me. We both know what happened there, Marissa!"

"That's been a while, Beth. I'm in a different place now. You're not ready for what's coming at you at No Way Out."

Beth laughs. "You're so naive, Marissa. I've been the most dominant Diva here for years, not you. It's never been you. All you did was act like you were the most dominant Diva while having three other Divas have your back the whole time. I've been as good as I am on your own."

"I'm the Divas Champion. I've been a champion in this company numerous times. I've beaten you more times than you can count. I've won more than you have. And right now, I'm more focused on being a champion than I have ever been before. You won't win on Sunday, and you won't be coming after my Divas Championship reign ever again."

"You'll see I'm right on Sunday, Marissa." Beth shoves me to the ground.

Beth laughs. I get back up and hit her with a hard Right Hand, knocking her to the ground. I then kick Beth in the head. I smile as Beth laid on the ground before walking backstage.

I could win on Sunday.

I start packing my stuff in my locker-room. I was getting nervous about going home and having to see Randy. I just wanted things to be civil at least. I didn't know if I was going to get what I wanted. Hell, I didn't know how i was going to respond to being around Randy at this point.

Admittedly, I think my anger towards Randy has toned down a bit since when we last talked. I missed being around him, but I wanted to try to discuss this issue with Randy at some point. I sigh as I finish packing. The door to my locker-room opens.

Layla walks in. "Listen, Rissa, things are gonna be fine."

I sigh. "I hope so. I just want things to be at least civil."

"You two will be fine. You love each other to pieces. You'll work it out. You always work things out."

"Yeah…you're right. I'm worrying about this way too much. Sometimes I wonder how Randy puts up with my overdramatic ass."

"You're not overdramatic, Rissa. Randy knows that."

"I hope he doesn't think I am. I love him with every fiber of my being, but I'm just unhappy that he got suspended and didn't tell me."

"You'll find a way to make that clear to him and get through this."

I nod. "Yeah, you're right. I just hope he's civil tomorrow."

"He sent you flowers and made sure you had a Tag Team partner last night. I'm sure he'll be civil."

"I hope so. Let's go."
