The sports festival had begun. The random choice selection for the first event began spinning, and stopped. The first event was an obstacle course.
Classes 1-A, -B and the rest of U.A. that was attending were standing at the starting line, all thinking the same thing; "I will win!"
At the sound of a gunshot, they're off, everyone piling into the stadium's entrance. During this scaffold, Izuku, whose PE Uniform cladded in green with UA insignias remain, managed to escape by jumping onto one of the ceilings, continues foward.
That is until his symbiote senses were tingling.
"This is the first obstacles course." Shoto said to himself as he freezes everything, where some were stuck.
Fortunately, Izuku and other students got out of there.
Forming symbiotic substance, they had small spikes form from their feet to run on the ice easier. Todoroki began catching up to them, taking note of their now spiked feet.
"That quirk of yours is quite versatile isn't it?" Todoroki asked.
"I guess you could say that," Izuku responds.
"But no matter what I will win."
"DEKU! SCARFACE!" Bakugo shouted as Sym threw a raspberry at, thus pissing him off.
"So long suckers!" Sym waved at them.
Just then a 0 pointer robot from the entrance exam appeared in front of them. Thinking fast, Todoroki used his quirk to freeze the giant robot. After that, he proceeded to run though it's legs as it started to topple over, Izuku jumped up, swinging one of them, using symbiotic webbing, at the rest as they crashed down whilst holding onto a metal piece of it. They also heard a faint yelling with some explosions catching up on them.
"Outta the way you damn nerd!" Bakugo said blasting past them. The sound waves from the explosions disturbing the Sym but not enough to weaken it. They continued until they got to the chasm portion of the race.
"Now then Todoroki, you're gonna learn what happens when you start a declearation of war with my quarry." Bakugo thought.
Each of students, continues through the tightrope using their Quirks or other means which was the Support Group. Next, they made it to the minefields. They're not deadly but can still explode. Not wanting to give others a chance to catch up by setting off some mines, both Todoroki and Bakugo decided to move slowly around the mines.
Meanwhile, Deku was coming up with an idea. He then started using the claws in his coated hands to dig up some mines.
"No, no, and hell no!" complained Sym, knowing this is a bad idea.
"It's gonna work!" Midoryia said. "Besides, we trained for this situation."
"Good point. Curse you Plus Ultra!"
After digging up enough mines, they took some steps back, noticing the rest of the racers have caught up. They then ran and jumped at their load of mines, using that same metal heap to protect them. That's when a certain explosion was heard.
"What the hell are you doing, huh Deku!" Bakugo shouted as he and Todoroki are catching up. Plus, Midoryia's quick-thinking didn't last as he was about to fall down to where landmines were at. But he did slam the metal down again for another explosive burst. As they landed, Sym increased the speed to dash away from the competition despite Kacchan and Todoroki catching up.
The entrance came into view, the three of them neck and neck. In one last ditch effort, Izukuthrew their tendrils to the sides of the entrance and flung themselves forward.
"In first place we have Izuku Midoriya!"
They had won the first challenge, but that was only one of many to come.
