A.N. I think everyone will agree that 2020 was a very crappy year. Not only my college class's being moved online. Most of the outdoor activities and gatherings I use to do with friends I couldn't do anymore, as well as all the riots and garbage from the election. Being indoors and online all the time was making me a shut-in and it was effecting my thinking, judgment and personality. So after that year was up and after the whole corona virus pandemic was over. After getting back with friends and in actual human contact I can finally clear my head and conscious. Don't even mention the political B.S. going on in the country.

I've deleted "A Broken Family" because after re-reading it I realized it really was trash. I originally wanted to do something along the lines of "New Life In Pendusky" but instead of focusing on only Luna and Lincoln I wanted to focused on all the Loud Siblings. I still wanted to do something in the category of drama but more believable less intense. I did manage to get in contact with some of my old friends form collage and "vested them in person and not through zoom." After a talk with them I've decided to retool "A Broken Family" story into something more believable. One of them did tell me about a series called "Party of Five" Turns out this was a remake of a 90's T.V. drama. In this series the parents of five who children suddenly die and the eldest brother becomes the legal guardian of his four younger siblings. In this story Lynn Sr. and Rita get a divorce and because of the unrest at home Lori and Leni becomes the temporary Legal Guardian of Luna, Luan, Lynn, and Lincoln. Now Of course this story "Party of Six.", is very different from "Party of Five.", in many ways. In "Party of Five." The parents die, in this story Lynn Sr. and Rita only divorce.

Disclaimer: The Loud House and The Casagrande's are all owned by Nickelodeon.

Chapter One. A New Home.

Great Lakes City Michigan was a large city, with a large populations. It had it's usual traffic jams and people prefer taking the sub-way or walking. Despite Great Lakes City being the same size and population as Chicago people have been known to get around if they knew their streets. In the center of town there was a store front called 'Casagrande's' own and operated by a Latino family of the same name. At the front register of this store a nineteen year old clerk named Bobby Santiago was working. His sister Ronnie Anne was at the skate park with her friends when she did return home Bobby informed her about something important.

For the past few weeks, even though Bobby and Ronnie Anne's lives were both going great for both of them they have been worried about their friends form out of town. Bobby's girlfriend Lori Loud was currently a student at Fairway University. She has ten siblings all of whom live in the same house together for years. Ronnie Anne was close friends with Lincoln Lori's brother. Unfortunately in resent days Lori's parents were not on good grounds with each other. Despite last year being a year of great progress for the Loud family. Lynn Sr. the father of that family opened up a second location of his diner (Lynn's Table) in Great Lakes City, Even making Rosa Casagrande, Bobby and Ronnie Anne's grandmother its manager. Rita the mother of that family got her first novel published. It went on to be a number one best seller and also won a Pulitzer Prize. With all the good things happening for the Loud family anyone would think nothing was wrong with them, that they were perfect for a very large family.

Unfortunately despite all the wealth and prosperity Lynn Sr. and Rita brought in for their children. In the past few months the two began fighting, and arguing over everything. Both Lori and Lincoln told Bobby and Ronnie Anne about the condition at home. During a face time chat with Lincoln Ronnie Anne even heard the shouting of their parents from down stairs. The shouts of the parents would even drowned out the noise from the upstairs which was known by everyone especially the Loud's next door neighbor Mr. Grouse would complain about. There were also a few incidence were the police had to be called in dew to domestic disturbances.

As Ronnie Anne walked into the bodega after her day at the skate park. Bobby was there waiting for her. "Hey, Sis can I see you for a minute?" he asked

Bobby then pulled out his cell phone and shown her a text message.

(Bobby! There is something important I need to share with you and Ronnie Anne. About an hour and a half drive from Grate Lakes City between there and Royal Woods is the small farm town called 'Squirrelville' Drive down to 2727 Rock Road. Just the two of you)-Lori

"Why do you suppose she wants to meet us there?" Ronnie Anne asked

"I have no idea." Bobby said

Later on that evening the two sibling got into the bodega's van and drove off to the address Lori explained in her text to the small town of Squirrelville. Squirrelville was a small farming community. A very rural setting with farms and barns and endless fields of corn and soybeans. With a sparse population of about 280. As soon as they arrived at the location 2727 Rock Road. There was a large two story wood frame farm house with no barn. There was a tall oak tree in with a tire swing hanging from its branches in the front yard. On the porch was a nineteen year old woman in a blue tank top, and denim jean shorts. It was Lori and she was waiting for the two. The lights in the house were on it looked like a party was going on inside. When Bobby and Ronnie Anne stepped outside and saw Lori standing on the porch waiting for the two.

"Hey Babe." Bobby called out to her nineteen year old girlfriend.

Lori ran down stairs and threw her arms around her boyfriend. She hugged him for a full minute and was on the verge of tears.

"Babe! What happened?" Bobby asked

Before Lori could speak another car pulled up behind the van Bobby and Ronnie Anne drove in. A ditzy blond fashionista wearing a light green dress walked out next to her was another young woman Bobby and Ronnie Anne knew also knew. It was Leni Loud, Lori's sister and she was with Carlota Casagrande Bobby and Ronnie Anne's cousin.

"Hey Lori, Hey Bobby, Hey Ronnie Anne!" Leni greeted in a cheery mood.

"Carlota! Leni! What are you doing here?" Ronnie Anne asked

"I'm dropping Leni off at her home. What's it look like I'm doing?" Carlota asked

Bobby looked at Lori with a very confused and worried expression.

Lori took a deep breath then said in a low serious tone. "We live here now."

Bobby was perplexed. "Wait I thought you lived on campus at Fairway U?" he asked

"I live here too!" Leni said in a cherry mood.

"Just you and Leni?" Bobby asked

"It's a little more complicated than that. I live here with half my siblings." Lori said

As Ronnie Anne was standing outside the house she heard music coming from inside. "Does Lincoln liver here too?" She asked

Lori look at her and nodded her head up and down signifying yes. Ronnie Anne went in and looked around. The inside was just like any other farm house it was very big a spacious. There was a kitchen, a living room with a sofa and a huge twenty-inch plasma screen television. Ronnie Anne heard music coming from upstairs. It sounded like drums beating away.

"HELLO!?" Ronnie Anne called out. As she went upstairs she found out were the sound was coming form. There were five rooms upstairs and the door of one of the rooms was open a crack. As she looked inside she noticed a certain white haired thirteen year old boy wearing an orange polo shirt and blue genes sitting behind the set of drums. A Thirteen year old boy she knew all too well. After he was beating his heart out, a teenage girl approached him in the room. She was seventeen years old had short brown hair in a pixie cut. She wore a purple tee shirt with a skull on the front, black jeans, and purple leather boots. Another person Ronnie Anne knew all too well.

"Real Rocking, Bro!" The girls told the boy sitting down.

At that moment Ronnie Anne Came and called the two by name. "Hey Lincoln, Luna!"

"RONNIE ANNE!" the two siblings called out in unison.

"Lori told me you guys live here now. Did something happen back at your old home?" Ronnie Anne asked.

Both Luna and Lincoln looked down with sad gloom faces. Mentioning their old home made them sad for some reason.

"Did something happen to your old home?" Ronnie Anne asked

"You could say a lot is happening." Lincoln said

"And not just with our old home, but with our lives." Luna said

Back outside on the front porch Lori was talking with Bobby and was going to tell him the situation on what happened to the Loud Family. This was the same story Lincoln and Luna would share with Ronnie Anne. As the three began to tell the story about the situation.

"So as you know last year was very productive. Mom finally got her book published, and it went on to be both a number one best seller, and won a Pulitzer Prize. Our Dad even opened up a second 'Lynn's Table' In Great Lakes City."

"Tell us about it. He even made our abuela the manager!" Bobby explained

The two siblings continued explaining their story. "Anyway with all the wealth and prosperity coming in we thought nothing could go wrong. It all started about two months ago."

"What happened two months ago?" Ronnie Anne asked.

Lincoln took a deep breath and said. "They started fighting."

Lori outside on the porch told the same thing to Bobby. Both his and Ronnie Anne faces were struck blank with fearful expressions. After three years they knew the Loud family neither Bobby nor Ronnie Anne would think for a moment that the parents of the Loud family would ever fight.

"What…what kind of fighting?" Bobby asked nervously

Lori took a deep breath as she continued. "It all started out as arguments over disagreements. Knowing how the rest of our siblings behaved we thought it was nothing at first. Until they started shouting out loudly. Their shouts would echo throughout the entire house and would immediately catch our attention. It only got worse when they started insulting, and curing each other."

Both Bobby and Ronnie Anne were in shock. The two Santiago siblings never so much as seen Lynn Sr. or Rita fight with each other not less argue. "How bad was their language?" Ronnie Anne asked

Lincoln lowered his head and said. "I'd rather not say."

"Me neither." Luna said

Lincoln did continue with the story. "The only good thing about this was that neither mom nor Dad became physical abusive towards one another. Punching, kicking you know that stuff. Their arguing got so bad that on some occasions a police officer would come to the house with peace violations. At first we thought it was from Mr. Grouse our next door neighbor even though he did point out that our father was louder than usual. We would later find out that their shouts can be heard from blacks away. Not Nearly half as bad as all eleven of us on our worst day. There were also instances where the younger sisters like Lucy and the twins would come in to sleep with me and Lori because of how scary the situation was for them."

"Thing only quieted down after our father packed his bags and left the house. At first we thought because of the arguing, the shouting and the cursing he was only going to be moving to a motel to cool off for a couple of days. Within two week our house went from loud shouting to absolute silences. It was actually scary for the past few week, we were afraid that if we argue we might end up being like out parents or worst. Then mom called us downstairs for a family meeting."

Both Ronnie Anne and Bobby were holding onto every word the Louds were telling them

"During the family meeting our mother told us two things. First thing was that she and our father were getting a divorce, and that they were going to go to court to see who will get the house."

One thought came to both Bobby and Ronnie Anne's mind. "Your home on 1216 Franklyn Ave.?"

"Yep, currently mom lives there with the Lola, Lana, and Lily. As for Dad well he left for a small two bedroom apartment with Lisa and Lucy. Lisa wanted to be the "so called" Building inspector for dad's apartment and go over any code violations he may have with the land lord. Lucy believes the apartment may be haunted so she went with dad for any ghost she might encounter."

Both Bobby and Ronnie Anne took in their stories. There was one question that was still weighing heavily on their minds. "Look I understand why your mother does not want your father at home. Believe me you're not the only family who had to deal with divorced parents, but I need to ask you why you moved to this house did?"

Both Ronnie Anne and Bobby had their own versions of this question. "After mom announced that she and dad were getting a divorce, she informed Pop-Pop about it. The very next day we received word that both Pop-Pop and Gran-Gran were moving into that house. Because Pop-Pop actually bought the house for mom and dad as a wedding present. So needless to say even with dad moving out it was still going to be more crowded than usual. That and Max Hogan coming over on a daily basis was only going to make things worse." Both Lincoln and Lori had their own versions of this story.

"Max Hogan?" Both Bobby and Ronnie Anne asked

"Our mom's devoice attorney, He's a lawyer who is not only overseen our mothers side of the divorce, but he's also gathering all the paperwork for the house, Deeds, Permits, Titles, just about every documentation stating quote on quote "Who" owns the house."

Bobby then asked Lori. "Okay, I understand that your parents are going through this very rough divorce, and I understand that they have their hands full with all the paperwork work involving the house and other things. I also understand that you do not want to be around your parents when they are going through the divorce, But I need to ask you. Why did you move up here?"

Lori looked up with a somber look and said. "Max Hogan has granted me and Leni "Temporary Guardianship" over our four younger siblings."

Bobby's eyes opened wide and he shook his head. "Temporary Guardianship!? Does that mean…"

Before Bobby could finish his sentence Lori continued. "Basically Leni and I are Luna's, Luan's, Lynn's and Lincoln's Legal Guardians. Well only until things settle down between our parents. I mean sure alone one of them could handle two or three children, But the way they were acting the past few months. Not exactly the kind of people who can handle over a dozen kids on their own."

Lincoln told Ronnie Anne the same thing upstairs. "So that means Lori, and Leni are now your legal guardians." Ronnie Anne said

"Well only until things settle down at home. Once the divorce is final and everything is slightly peaceful we can go back to our somewhat normal lives. I mean it's not going to be the same having two parents living separately." Lincoln explained as he looked down.

Luna walked over to him and raped her arm around her brother. "It's not going to be the same for any of us." She concluded.

Both Bobby and Ronnie Anne knew exactly what the Loud siblings were going through. Having their parents going through a divorce in the past themselves. Five years ago Bobby and Ronnie Anne were both lived in Royal Woods with both their parents Arturo Santiago their father and their mother Maria. Arturo accepted a job offer in Peru, but Maria wanted to stay in Michigan. After a bitter argument between the two parents Both Arturo and Maria agree to separate. It was a separation that would eventually lead to a divorces.

Even though Arturo loved his family. He would send them care packages and support checks every month. It was not the same having two parents living in two separate countries. After two years Maria and her two children moved to Great Lakes City to live with their maternal Grandparents Rosa and Hector. Eventually Arturo did move to Great Lakes City and visited with his children Bobby and Ronnie Anne. But still the years apart did nothing to rekindle Arturo's and Maria's love for each other. The two will remain divorce for the rest of their lives, and from what Lori and Lincoln told Bobby and Ronnie Anne things looked the same for Lynn Sr. and Rita.

Bobby looked his girlfriend in the eyes and said. "Babe take it from someone who's parent went through exactly the same thing yours are going through right now. I know how hard divorces are, I know how difficult it can be having two parents living in separate places. If you ever need anything I'm here for you."

"Thanks Booboo Bear!" Lori said with tears in her eyes as she gave her boyfriend a hug.

Shortly after Lincoln and Luna finished telling their story to Ronnie Anne Lynn came running upstairs. She was wearing her usual attire her trademark number-one sports jersey with gym shorts. Lynn did have her hair cut shorter. Not as short as Luna's but she didn't have her ponytail anymore. She quickly noticed Ronnie Anne standing in the room.

"Oh hay! Ronnie Anne!" Lynn greeted her

"Hey Lynn." Ronnie Anne said

"I suppose Lincoln told you everything that going on." Lynn said

"About your Parents' divorce and how you live here now." Ronnie Anne said

"Yah! It sucks big time!" Lynn stated with distain.

As the two walked down stairs Lynn and Ronnie Anne noticed the plasma screen T.V. was on. As the came closer they saw Luan sitting on the sofa. She was wearing a long yellow dress and had her hair down and sat with a sad for long expression on her face.

"Hey Luan!" Ronnie Anne called out. But she didn't even bat an eye to her as if she didn't hear her or simple didn't even care.

"Don't bother she been like this ever since we moved here." Lynn explained.

As the two walked out Lynn and Ronnie Anne met with Bobby and Lori who were still talking on the porch.

"Hey guys!" Ronnie Anne said with a wave.

"I suppose Lincoln already told you everything that's going on with our family." Lori said

"With the divorce and all, yah." Ronnie Anne said.

After saying this Bobby gets a call from his mother informing them to come back home.

"We have to get going." Bobby said with a sigh. "Lori if you need anything at all and I mean anything give me a call." Bobby said as he and Ronnie Anne both jumped into the truck and drove off.

Bobby and Ronnie Anne both sat in dead silence on the drive home. Both Bobby and Ronnie Anne were in deep thought over the Loud family. Especially the six siblings who now in the farm house living on their own.
