Chapter Two. House War

Back in Royal Woods at 1216 Franklyn Avn. Rita the mother of the family was waking up. It was early in the morning and the sun has not come out yet. On the top floor of the house her father Albert and his wife Myrtle were in Lori and Leni's old room. They were usually the first one's up in the morning and had a routine much like they did back when they lived at Sunny Canyon Retirement Home. The two would wake up at 6:00 A.M. go about their daily routines and be dressed and ready by 6:30.

The three children Lola, Lana, and Lily weren't up until 7:30 a.m. By that time Pop-Pop and Gran-Gran were already up to meet them.

"Good Morning Grandkids!" Albert and Myrtle would greet them in the cheer fashion. Lola, Lana and Lily were not exactly morning people. If anything the pageant queen who needed her beauty sleep, the grease monkey who stayed up late at night working on a project, and finally the youngest in the bunch were anything but morning people. Usually they wave a hand while yawning. Both Lola and Lana were nine years old and Lily was three years old at the time.

Rita would call from downstairs. "Breakfast is ready." Even though in the past Lynn Sr. was the one who would cook breakfast for the whole family. With the devoice in full swing Rita took it upon herself to provide for her three children. With help from her father and stepmother of course.

After Breakfast around 9:00 a red corvette convertible pulled into the driveway. Out stepped a man in his late thirties and early forties wearing thick framed glasses a white dress shirt, red tie, a navy blue sports coat, slacks and dress shoes. He carried a large briefcase with him. It was Max Hogan Rita's attorney. As he always did for the past few weeks when Lynn Sr. and most of the children moved out Max would visit 1216 Franklyn Ave. with the paperwork for Rita to sing. He would explain everything from legal to finances as well as changes to the last will and testament. Needless to say with a forty year marriage and eleven children to cover Max had his hands full with the Loud family.

All ready by this time Lola, Lana, and Lily took the bus to school, and Max was with the three sitting at the kitchen table where he opened his briefcase and pulled out all of the paperwork needed. As he explained everything that was laid out in front of them.

"All right so here's the deal. Albert purchased the house from Sharon Demonte in 97. I've already contacted her and got all the paperwork that applied to that purchase as well as the loan applications from her. All of which has her and Alberts signatures on them." Max explained as he laid out all the paper on the table for the three to see.

"So what does this have to do with the House?" Albert asked as he looked at the deeds, permits, and other property papers in the Loud's name.

"If you notice the ownership papers are still has Lynn Sr. name on them. Unless you want to make this a weekend home were your ex-husband so he can come to visit on the weekend and you can spend the weekends at a spa or somewhere, Were going to need two property audits for this. One from you the other from your ex." Max explained.

Rita gritted her teeth. "Grrr. Don't even mention his name in my presents."

"That cheap, rotten, no-good…" Albert growled

"Now, Now Albert." Myrtle said calming her husband down.

Max then pulled out another set of documents and explained. "So anyway I need 'his' signature on these documents. They acknowledge 'his' submission of ownership of this property over to you and your father. Who want to give it to him?"

Rita, Albert, and Myrtle both looked at the document with ill-expressions. It was not so much at the document itself it is what Rita, and Albert want more than ever. It's the fact that one of them has to hand deliver them to Lynn Sr. in person, the very last thing any of them wanted to see at the moment.

With a scull on her face Rita stood up and said. "I'll deliver it to him."

"Keep in mind I am a divorces attorney, not a homicide attorney. If any confrontation's accurse that lead to his death at your hands I will be unable to fix it." Max explained

"I'll take it to him." Albert said with a smile.

"Well you are a war veteran, and war veterans are respected." Max explained

"Are you sure about this?" Myrtle asked worried

Max smiled and said. "I've been a practicing divorce attorney for over eighteen years now. I've handled family disputes and cases that made the Civil War look like a school yard bully fight. If I let Rita come with in fifty feet of him there's a good chances one of them would end up dead and the other would end up in prison."

"We'll I want to knock is block off his shoulders just as much as my Rita does, and you trust me with the paper work?" Albert asked

"At least war veterans are respected. You could use self-defense as mean for your actions. The death of quote on quote "You Know Who" quote on quote could be viewed as a technicality, and Albert could get off scotch free." Max explained

"Then it's decided. My father will deliver the papers to "Him", "He" will sign them if he wants to stay alive. Then we can go over more pressing issues with "Him"." Rita stated explaining "Him" and "He" as Lynn her Ex-husband.

"Oh yah, I have a lot more issue regarding you and "Him"." Max said.

As Albert got the papers together he went out to his car and was going to hand them over to Lynn. Meanwhile in downtown Royal Woods at an apartment complex Lynn Sr. the soon to be official ex-husband of Rita was getting ready for another long day of business at "Lynn's Table" Royal Woods, not to be confused with "Lynn's Table" Great Lakes City which he also owned and is managed by Rosa Casagrande.

Lynn already got settled into his new two bedroom apartment on of the bedrooms was ware Lucy and Lisa lived. After Lisa talked with the land lord over the integrity of the apartment the three were now living at as well as any safety concerns, he decided to raise the rent on Lynn Sr. room. Lisa pointed out cense her father was a successful entrepreneur that it won't be a problem for him. As for Lucy, The apartment built they were living in was first built in 1902. Believing Ghost from past renters still haunted the place Lucy performs spirit and medium rituals to communicate with the ghost.

By this time in the morning Lynn Sr. dropped the Lisa, and Lucy off at the school and was getting ready to work at his restaurant. When suddenly a huge heave set up in age man appeared and walked up to Lynn Sr. The one person in the world he now fears the most. It was Albert, The father of his ex-wife.

"Hey! Scum Bag!" Albert called out

Lynn began to sweet profusely. "Albert! What Brings You Here!?" he asked in a nerves tone.

"After Twenty Years Together You've Treated My Daughter Like Trash!" Albert stated out in a bold tone.

"Believe Me Albert! I've Never Wanted Any Of This To…" Lynn tried to explain himself nervously when Albert shouted out in a deep tone.

"SILENCE!"

He then handed over the papers to him. "Now Rita's Lawyer explained everything. We Need Your Signature On These Documents." He explained

"What Exactly Are These Documents!?" Lynn asked as he began to look through them.

"Just Sing Them And Hand Them Back To Me!" Albert Demanded

As soon as Lynn saw the paper that read 'The Estate of 1216 Franklyn Ave.' he began to protest.

"Is This A Retraining Order?! Are You Excluding Me From Coming Within Five Miles Of This Location?!" Lynn asked in anger.

"Just Shut Up and Sing Them?!" Albert said in a demanding tone.

At this Lynn Sr. became enraged and he lased out against Albert.

"The Three Girls Are Just As Much My Daughters As They Are Hers! I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TOO….."

BAM!

Before Lynn could finish his sentence, he was lying down flat on his back on the ground. Albert slugged him hard enough that he was momentarily unconscious. When he came to he saw Albert standing over him.

"I left the papers in your apartment. You can sing them and hand them back to me when your ready. Give me a call as soon as those are signed." Albert said as he began to walk away.

"And Don't Even Think About Tearing Them Up And Throwing Them In The Trash! If You Do Ill Have Rita Come Down Here , And She'll Tear You A New One!" Albert finally said as he went into the apartment dropped the papers on the table in Lynn Sr. apartment. Then finally walked away and went to his car.

As soon as Lynn picked himself off of the ground he felt his face and noticed his eye was starting to swell up. He went to work anyway with a swollen black eye and went his co-workers asked him about it, he told them. "I had a run in with his Ex-Father-In-Law."

By the end of the day Lynn went down to the School and picked Lucy and Lisa up and drove back home. When Lucy and Lisa asked about their father's black eye he simply said. "I had a run in with Pop-Pop." Both Lucy and Lisa know exactly what happened. They may be young but they were old enough to know that their grandfather had just as much anger at their father as their mother did. The two said no more.

After they arrived at home they made their way up to the apartment. Even thought the three were living in the apartment for over a week now they have not yet gotten to know their neighbors yet. They lived on the third floor on apartment C-103, Across the hall from them was apartment C-101. After getting in the room a man came out of apartment C-101 he was wearing very dirty overalls and boots. Both had a very strong stench. "Hey Neighbor!" he called out.

"You live in the apartment across from us?" Lynn asked as Lucy and Lisa stood by their father.

"Sure do, I'm Chester McCann!" He introduced himself.

"McCann?" Lucy asked with a worried expression.

"You know him?" Lynn asked

At first Chester looked confused. "Who's this?" he asked

"Oh these are my daughters, This is Lisa and This is Lucy." Lynn introduced his two girls to him.

Lucy looked at Chester in his dirty overalls then asked in a low tone. "Tell me Do You Have a Son Who Live's With You?"

"As a Matter of Fact I do." Chester said then he called out. "HEY CHANDLER!"

At that moment a thirteen year old boy with reddish brown hair, wearing a yellow long sleeved shirt with a green pot leaf on the front came out. A thirteen year old boy whom surprisingly Lucy was familiar with.

"Chandler, these are our new neighbors." Chester told his son. Then he remembered. "Oh I forgot I never got your names."

"It Loud, I'm Lynn Loud Sr. and these are two of my daughters Lucy and Lisa." Lynn stated

The name Loud did ring a bell in Chandler's head. "Loud, As In Lincoln Loud?" he asked nervously.

Lucy then glared at him. "You Mean My Brother!?" She said in a low tone.

"You Know My Son?" Lynn Sr. asked

Lucy glared at Chandler with angry eyes that were hidden behind her bangs, but by her facial expressions alone they could tell she was upset with Chandler about something.

"Lincoln would talk to his best friend Clyde and tell him about a bully who would always run him down into the dirt. A Bully named Chandler. My Brother Is The Most Precious, Innocent, Pure Hearted Soul I had the Pleasure to Know. He suffered a lot at the hand of his sisters, me included, all you did was add on to his suffering. HSSSSSSS!" Lucy said as she hissed

Chandler backed away from the ten year old Goth. Afraid she was going to bite him or something.

"So Um What Brings You Here?" Chester asked afraid of an unpleasant seen.

"My Now Ex-Wife gave me the old B-O-O-T out of the house." Lynn said

Both Chester's and Chandler's eyes opened wide. "Going Through A Divorce? You Could Say That's Why I live Here Too!" Chester explained

At that moment a strong feeling of guilt punched Chandler in the stomach. His parents have gotten divorced back when he was eight years old. His mother regretted marring a sewer treatment worker. Because of his profession Chester would come home wreaking the house with whatever god awful stench he was in contact with that day. Because his family's life he would bully and take his frustrations out on other children who had better lives. Clyde with his two dad's would be an easy target for him, But out of all the students in his school Lincoln was the one he resented the most. Because of the size of his family, his five older sisters and five younger sisters. He hated the fact that Lincoln's life was perfect and his life was trash. He would target and take his frustrations out on Lincoln Lame as he called him. Targeting His white Hair to his choice in friends even making his first year at Royal Woods Middle School a living hell for him, so much so that he spent a deration of that school year in a school in Canada. Now that Lincoln's family was going through the exact same trouble's he endured he now regretted targeting and bulling him.

As Lynn Sr. and Chester were getting to know each other. Lynn invited Chester into his apartment and shown him the papers Albert left for him to sing on his table. "My now ex-wife wants me to sing these. Their papers relinquishing my fair share of the ownership of the property of the old homestead. I don't know if I should sign them or not?" Lynn asked

Chester looked at Lynn and said. "Take it from someone who went through the exact same thing you're going through right now. Don't Sign Them. If she takes away your home the next thing she'll be coming for are your kids." Chester explained

Lynn Sr. eyes opened wide. It was as if Chester was confirming his worst fear right in front of him. Lynn stayed silent as Chester continued. "After she gave me the old B-O-O-T out the house five years ago back. Janis my now ex-wife kept hassling for longer and longer custodies stays with Chandler. In fact for the first three years after the divorce was final I'd be lucky if I got to spend a weekend out of an entire month with him."

Lynn could see that Chester was serious. Now that Rita wanted to be in control of the house, the last thing Lynn wanted was her to be in control of their children. "So what do I do? Her father gave me these papers and said if I threw them away he'll just come back and get new ones." Lynn said showing Chester the papers.

Chester looked around and found a drawer in the kitchen. "Here! Hide them in this drawer, and if he asked where they are just tell him you lost them. If he find them just hassle him. Sing on page tell him you'll fill out the rest latter, or leave out one signature them hand them to him and say "All Singed."" Chester explained.

"I don't know Chester. My ex's father isn't the most gentlest person." Lynn said pointing to his still black eye.

"Do you have a Lawyer in this case?" Chester asked

"Yah, Scott or As I call him "Scotty" Dixson." Lynn explained.

"See if he can't provide something for you. I mean you've lived in that house for year's right?" Chester asked

"For twenty years" Lynn Sr. said

"Twenty years you've called that your home. You have just as much as a right to hold on to that house as you have to hold on to your kids. Fight for both of them." Chester said In an encouraging tone.

"You're Right. If Rita's going to take the House Or The Kids Away From Me. She'll Have To Do It Over My Dead Body!" Lynn Sr. said in a confident tone.

Meanwhile back in the hallway outside the apartment. At first Chandler was at a loss for words. After learning that a boy he bullied because he was jealous because the life he lived, and was now going through the same circumstances he was living in. Even though he could not think up any words at the time his facial expression and body langue said it all.

Lucy just glared at him as if he was a parasite that she wanted to crush under her foot. After a while Chandler then spoke up. "You know…I was always jealous of him. I was always jealous of the fact that he had a better life than anyone ells." Lucy facial expression changed as Chandler continued to speak. Even though she as still angry with him for what he did to Lincoln her expression seemed to have calmed down. "I mean he had five older sisters who looked after him, five younger sisters who look up to him. Me I was an only child whose Parents didn't even live in the same house together. Now that you and him are all going through what I went through. I feel like I'm total retarder for what I did to him." Chandler explained.

"Tell Me Chandler, Do you want to atone for your mistakes?" Lucy asked

"As a matter of fact I do." Chandler replied

"Good, maybe there's hope for you yet, but I'm warning you. If you harm one white hair on his head I will personally poundage you into a nightmare world in which there will be no awakening." Lucy explained in a low tone.

This was a lot for Chandler to take in. even though he has bullied a lot of people in the past, This was the first time he seen firsthand the effects of his bulling and how it affected the people in his family.

After a while Chandler returned to his room. He opened his closet and pulled out a backpack. It was a Rip Hardcore Survival Backpack that originally Luna was going to give to Lincoln for Christmas, But when Lincoln found out he forgot to get a gift for Lola he was in a panic and was desperate. So as soon as Chandler saw he needed a gift for Lola right away he managed to find a pair of ear rings his father found working in the sewerage treatment plant. He told Lincoln he'll give them to him in exchange for his Rip Hardcore Backpack. After hearing about what happened to Lincoln parents and what he is going through. Chandler didn't want the backpack anymore.
