I mean, I know you're five minutes early, but I arrived five minutes before you did, so you've kept me waiting!
Anyway, I jumped the gun and gave the flower to Dawn earlier, but she didn't seem to get what I was trying to convey!
She just said "That's nice of you. Thanks!" and left.
I think we need another plan of action, Y/N!
Perhaps instead of pretending to collide into her, I could do something else, like hug her from behind when I see her?

Hey, you know, back in Sinnoh, all I ever did was to stand around at the Fight Area all day waiting for Dawn to challenge me.
She beat me every time though. I heard that she's so strong she trains her Pokémon at the Elite Four.

(Y/N looked in the direction Barry was pointing to, and they saw Dawn walking around the park with someone next to her.)
Barry: Hey, wait a minute... is that Lucas? Together with Dawn? What are they doing here together?
Hey... why are they walking so close to each other? And what's Lucas pointing at?
Oh... he's showing her a flower even more beautiful than the one I gave to her.
Why, Dawn is grinning so broadly at Lucas right now. Hey, what now?! She just grabbed his hand!
They look so happy together. Argh, I can't take this anymore!

(Barry dashes off in the other direction, and Y/N chases after him.)
Barry: Waaah! I don't believe this! Rejected before I even got to confess to her!
(Barry places his arms around Y/N and starts crying into her chest.)

(Y/N pats Barry on the back and rubs him on the head.)
Barry: What does Lucas have that I don't, anyway...?
It's not like he's any stronger than me as a Trainer...
I think it need some time alone after this...
