A/N: Hi, to the person reading this! It's Lyssy here. I don't typically write author's notes, which is partly out of laziness and partly because I have nothing to say, but today I have decided I'm going to start replying to your reviews! I love reading them and they make me so happy and I've been meaning to reply for a while but I haven't gotten the chance yet. I don't really know how I'm going to do this, I may do it every chapter, every other chapter, every 5...I don't really know yet, but when I figure it out I will definitely let you all know!

Anyway, thanks for reading my story! I hope you enjoy it! With this one, I'm trying a different approach to how other stories have been written and how I've written mine, and I honestly love it so far. I typically tend to speed up my plots out of excitement, but I'm trying to draw this one out a bit. And yes, even though I'm working on other stories at the moment, I would love for this one to be the first I finish. I can't even express how excited I am! Hopefully, you're excited as well, because the chapters to come are going to be quite interesting ;)

Lol, my reply to your reviews will be at the end of this chapter, so let's get to it.

Perilous

Chapter Six

Cammie POV

I only caught glimpses of things.

The jet landed in London...then nothing. We were in a car...then nothing. I was being carried into an elevator...then nothing. A door to a room was opened...then nothing.

The next thing I knew, I was waking up in a large bed with cotton comforters and silk pillows.

I was still dressed in the dress, the white floral one, but someone had taken off the heels. The covers on the other side of the bed were thrown back, and I heard a shower turn off in the bathroom. Who else was there? Looking around the room, I noticed it was a huge suite. There was a breakfast nook, a small living area with a couch and coffee table, an office type space, and barn doors leading to the bathroom. I saw a large set of windows with the curtains drawn looking out over the fast landscape of London. There was a huge platter of British breakfast luxuries on a cart in front of the bed.

I ran a hand through my hair, which was wavy after I'd taken it out of the braids.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when the barn doors to the bathroom slid open, revealing Zach Goode dressed in jeans and a grey sweater material shirt, black boots on his feet with a sky blue leather jacket.

"Ah, sleeping beauty is awake." He rested an arm on the wooden headboard, smirking. His light brown curls fell into his eyes carelessly.

Peering up at him, an amused smile crawled onto my face. "You look ridiculous."

Zach looked offended. "What? This is all the rage in London these days."

Suddenly, a wave of nausea hit me. My hand flew to my core. "I think I'm gonna be sick."

"Is it that bad?" Zach asked, suddenly self-conscious about the fashion choice.

I scrambled out of the bed, trying not to hurl. "No, you fucking imbecile. Nick said the second day is nausea. I'm gonna puke."

Running into the bathroom, I slid on the floor which somehow led me to the toilet. Just as the vomit began to pour out of me and into the porcelain bowl, Zach was behind me, holding my hair back and stroking my spine through my dress.

I continued to puke, my stomach churning with every wretch. But my mind and more so my body was aware of Zach's light, comforting touches. They made me shiver. I couldn't help but hope he didn't notice.

When all the fluid was out of me, I flushed the toilet and wiped my mouth with a washcloth.

Zach left and returned with a bottle of water, holding it up to my lips.

I shook my head in refusal.

He frowned, looking at me with those bright green eyes of his that too often seemed full of concern. "You just lost a lot of fluid, Cams. You need to drink."

Though I didn't think I could stomach it, I didn't neglect the bottle as he held it for me to drink a second time.

My stomach churned when I swallowed, but nothing came up.

My back leaned against the cabinets as I slumped against the floor. Zach sat next to me, occasionally having me sip some water.

I glanced at him. "How bad was I yesterday?" I remembered details, but most things were hazy.

"I'll let you decide that. Let's see, you spoke Croatian when I tried to wake you up. You refused to put on clothes and the girls had to dress you on the jet. You were cold, and when I gave you my jacket, you said, and I quote, 'I'm warm now! Magic!'"

I covered my hands with my face, groaning. "Oh my god."

Zach laughed.

"That's terrible and embarrassing and...oh my god."

"Hey, at least you were cute though." He nuzzled my shoulder jokingly.

I laughed a bit, missing his warmth. "Yeah, whatever."

After puking twice more, throwing up my breakfast of pastries and bacon (which fucking sucked because it tasted so good), and turning my shower into a vomit bath, Zach called Nick over to our room, who assigned me to bed rest for the rest of the day.

Me being me, I was sure as hell not going to do that.

Long story short, they ended up having to handcuff me to the bed and removed anything out of the room I could pick the lock with.

I sat angry and frustrated for 30 minutes until the rest of the team appeared in the room.

"Well, I see she's back to normal," Macey commented.

I almost pounced, but Zach held my arms back. But then another wave of nausea hit.

Letting go of my arms, he pulled my hair up quickly into a ponytail with his hand, and before he could put the trashcan there, Grant said, "Oh, so it's like that already."

I choked on my own vomit just as the trashcan landed in front of me.

Zach died of laughter, still holding my hair up.

After wiping my mouth and getting rid of the trashcan, I glared at Grant. "I'm going to fucking murder you, Newman."

Bex suddenly stepped in, her accent thicker now that she was back home. "Hey, let's not get ahead of ourselves. That's my job."

I smirked at her, tilting my head. "I'm sure you wouldn't mind taking a day off."

Zach laughed harder and the others soon joined in.

"Okay, guys." Zach began when the laughter died down. "We're here to discuss covers and plans. So let's go around and share our covers first."

Everyone seated themselves on the bed or in a chair.

Liz pulled out her file. "I don't typically need a cover, but if anyone asks, I'm Isabella Stafford."

"And I'm her boyfriend, Jeremy Keller," Jonas said.

Bex looked over her file. "Well, I am Isla Washington, wife of Noah Washington. The Washingtons are apparently terrorists who are more commonly known as one of England's most elite families."

"I'm Noah Washington, by the way." Grant raised his hand.

Macey tossed her file aside, beginning to file her nails. "I'm Aurora Prince, sister of our subject and fiance of Maximus Walker." She cut her eyes at Nick. "I'm losing an amazing surname because of you."

"It's a fucking cover! And your 'family name' is known for crimes!" Nick exclaimed, exasperated. "Obviously, I'm Maximus." He rolled his eyes. "We deal weapons with the Johnson's."

Their relationship seemed to be an odd mixture of love, hate, and lust. Macey said something that ticked him off, they fought, he destroyed a clothing item, and just as she starts to burn him with a curling iron, they make out and eventually screw each other. Not a bad way to go in my opinion. Completely psycho, but not bad.

"And we," Zach said, putting his arm around me after I wretched again. "Are the Johnson's."

I looked up quickly. "You are my mission husband?"

He ignored me and told everyone, "She's Amberlee Johnson, I'm Micheal. We own a weapons company and deal with terrorists such as Mr. Landon Prince, our subject."

"You are forgetting that I am a model and fashion designer, sir." I narrowed my eyes at Zach.

He simply waved a hand. "Unimportant."

Just as someone started to speak, Zach's phone rang.

He glanced at everyone in turn. "It's the Director."

Zach answered the phone, putting it on speaker, and said, "Director Haspel, good morning. Is there a reason why you're calling?"

"Agent Goode. Would you have any idea why the Circle base in Greece went up in flames last night?" Haspel said over the phone.

Everyone except me looked shocked.

Rolling my eyes, I took the phone from Zach. "It's Nightshade. I may have forgotten to mention that I planted a bomb before I left. It was scheduled to go off in 48 hours. So yeah, that's that."

Haspel was silent for a moment before saying, "Alright then. Good luck to the team."

And the line went dead.

...
