AN: Welcome back. I know I posted the Aftermath on Monday and now today is Thursday, so you get two chapters this week (given one was an Aftermath compared to challenges) Anyways today we go from the shorter side of the story with Aftermaths to the longest chapter yet. I hope you enjoy.
Chapter Six: Moon Madness
"Welcome back to Total Drama All Stars. Last time found our teams of campers have to be questioned about some truths about themselves, where we learned things like Izzy has not been to juvie and Ezekiel has gone on a date with a mutant gopher, of which the campers were chased by later," Chris introduces the show as small clips of the heroes being brought out of the pit is shown and Izzy speaks, Ezekiel is seen hiding in his toque, and the campers running from mutant gophers, "Which the heroes managed to outpace the villains due to Lightning's arrogance, which lead the runner up from last season getting flushed down." The clips are followed by Lightning standing on Ezekiel's hand and Scott and Jo watching Lightning get flushed by Chris.
"Ah sweet peace." Jo sighed nearby, clearly content with Lightning being gone.
"That peace won't last," Chris winked at the camera with a dark smile, "because today is challenge day and I won't give these campers a moment of peace. Will they survive their usual torture methods? Who knows. All I know is someone is getting flushed down the toilet tonight, here on Total Drama All Stars." Chris pats the toilet as he finishes the intro and groans as he sees Owen approaching it.
"Use the actual bathrooms!" Chris yells in annoyance and Owen shrugs before walking off and Jo gags at the idea at being flushed after Owen went.
"Don't worry, Zoey survived just fine." Chris ignored her concern as the camera cut off to show the theme song and introduction.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doin' fine,
The camera shows four spotlights popping out of the trees, with one pushing out with toilet paper on top of it, as well as one pushing out soap along with it. The camera then zooms through the camp, past a squirrel, the confessional, the bathrooms, and the two cabins, the Spa Hotel, and the old one from the original season. Chris is seen with an ankle bracelet on his ankle as Chef takes it off as Chris holds up the million dollars as the camera dives into the shark infested waters beneaths the cliff.
You guys are on my mind.
Owen is once again seen swimming under the water, this time along with Scott, as both of them try to outswim a pursuing Fang, the mutated shark, with a terrified Cameron hanging onto the shark.
You asked me what I wanted to be
Brick is then shown helping Cameron off the shark's back and pulls him onto a raft as, also on the raft, Dawn calms the angered mutant shark as Owen and Scott are laying on the beach, out of breath.
And now I think the answer is plain to see,
The camera then pans to the woods with DJ sitting with Sasquatchanakwa, meditating peacefully, when a mist of hair spray gets into their eyes, making the two meditators run to get the spray out of their eyes, which the pans to show Anne Maria spraying her hair, which is snatched away by Eva, who crushes it with one hand.
I wanna be famous.
Lightning is seen nearby racing against Jo and as Lightning gets a small bit ahead, Jo tackles the jock. Duncan is seen laughing at the situation, to which Gwen smiles slightly as Courtney growls at her ex for laughing at all.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Harold swings by the tackled Lightning on a vine with Izzy on a vine as well as she throws a knife at Harold's vine, causing him to fall and get caught by Leshawna. Leshawna rolls her eyes as she pecks his cheek as Izzy jumps from her vine onto an unassuming Ezekiel, knocking him to the ground.
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
Justin knocks on the confessional door nearby as Lindsay pokes her head out and looks confused before reclosing the door, much to Justin's annoyance. Alejandro pats the handsome teen's back and shakes his head as Heather narrows her eyes at Alejandro nearby.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
The camera pans to Noah reading a book at the Spa Hotel when he suddenly slams it shut and glares at a kissing Mike and Zoey, who shrug, not seeing the problem as Noah marches off. As Noah marches off, Cody pokes his head out from behind a vase as Sierra snatches him up and carries him off to unknown places.
I'll get there one day.
The camera then pans to the beach, with Courtney chasing Gwen with a baseball bat as Owen tries to stop the situation from escalating as Noah just smirks at the sight and is knocked to the ground by Sierra running with Cody in his clutches, dropping the boy, who scrambles away from his obsessed stalker.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
The Drama Machine grabs Courtney to stop her from assaulting Gwen, to which a nearby Alejandro shudders at the sight of the machine as Justin mockingly pats him on the back and Heather looks at the machine in guilt.
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
Lindsay is seen trying Beth's flaming baton routine, but immediately drops them to the ground as Dawn tries to instruct her and demonstrates the routine to her. Lindsay claps at the example Dawn gives as Eva walks past the two, as with DJ, Lightning and Jo, toss Anne Maria into the lake along with all her hair spray. DJ looks especially annoyed with his eyes still stinging.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Ezekiel is seen strumming a guitar as Scott tries to play the theme song on a banjo, to a worse attempt than Ezekiel. Harold is seen beatboxing the theme as Brick plays it on a kazoo as Leshawna looks at the four 'musicians' with a deadpan expression.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The song finishes with all contestants around the campfire, with Mike and Zoey going in for a kiss when Chris pops up behind them and smiles at the camera, making Mike and Zoey look away from Chris as Chef drags Chris back from the two campers. The campers then finish off the intro by whistling the theme.
The camera cuts back to an exhausted Mike sitting at the dining table as everyone walks in the room.
"What's up with you, multiple guy? You look like you didn't sleep all night." Noah snarked as he sat down next to Dawn as Mike groaned.
"I didn't sleep at all." Mike admitted and Dawn gasped.
"Mike you need some rest." Dawn worriedly told Mike who just refused to look her in the eyes.
"Don't tell me what to do," Mike snapped at her, making her flinch back in fear and he immediately regretted it, "Sorry. I'm going to take a shower."
Mike walked off as Izzy walked in and sniffed the air around him. This action creeped Mike a bit.
"You smell familiar. Don't know why." Izzy commented and Mike shook his head.
"I don't know you at all from before the show." Mike told her and Izzy shrugged.
"Eh, I'll figure it out later. First…" Izzy stopped as she flipped onto the table and grabbed a handful of bacon, "Breakfast!"
Izzy proceeded to scarf down the bacon as Mike closed the door and as Owen, Cody, Harold, Brick, and Cameron watched as Izzy scarfed down the ton of food on the table, to Owen's mesmerization. Dawn however watched the door and sighed sadly as she started stirring her cup of water.
"Something bothering you?" DJ asked from next to her and Dawn shook her head.
"I need to do something to help… but I don't know what to do." Dawn admitted and DJ pat her on the back.
"Sometimes people need to work through stuff alone." DJ told her and she snarled uncharacteristically.
"Then why do you want to help Courtney?! I am always able to help! I'm just so… so… so useless!" Dawn snapped in anger unlike her and stormed out of the dining hall, shocking everyone.
Confessional:
"I didn't even know Dawn was capable of yelling." Cameron wiped his eyes in surprise.
Confessional 2:
"Mike and Dawn are both clearly upset by something. I should go talk with Dawn, talking usually helps calm a soldier down." Brick said thoughtfully.
End Confessionals:
The camera shows the dining hall stunned as Noah stands up and walks out of the dining hall as well.
"I'm going to talk to Mike and Dawn separately. I don't want any of you involved right now." Noah told everyone and Harold raised a hand.
"Do you know something about this situation?" Harold asked and Noah shrugged.
"No, but I'm about to find out." Noah said with a fire in his eyes that was unlike anything any of them had ever saw before as he walked out.
"He is so in love with Dawn." Cody said bluntly and Brick snorted at this breaking up of the tension.
"Oh totally." DJ crossed his arms with a smirk on his face.
"Imma go spy on them." Izzy announced before she launched up into the vents and everyone looked up in shock.
"Do we want to send someone after her?" Cody asked and everyone looked at him and he gulped.
Confessional:
"Why did I have to ask?" Cody pulled a spider web off of his hair.
End Confessional:
Mike is seen splashing his face with water as he looks up in the mirror and gasps as he sees his face with one eye covered and the mirror talks.
"You knew I'd come back one day." The mirror taunts and Mike winces.
"You're not real Mal. Just in my head." Mike assured himself and Mal shrugs.
"That may be true, but you know I'm back. Wonder why you haven't heard from Manitoba, Svet, Vito or old Chester?" Mal continued and Mike growled.
"Don't you hurt them." Mike warned and the mirror Mal shrugged.
"You didn't seem to care about them when I first was coming back last year. I think it was right after you beat them all into submission." Mal grinned and Mike gasped.
"No… No no no no no." Mike then punched the mirror, shattering it and sending glass everywhere and the mirror Mal disappeared but his voice remained for one last taunt.
"I let you rule our lives for so long now. Time to take back what's rightfully mine. I'll see you again later." Mal's voice faded away and Mike started panicking and breathing rapidly.
"Mike. Are you in there?" Noah asked without any of his usual snark. Mike took a deep breath and then walked to the door.
"What's up?" Mike asked without opening the door and the camera shows both of them on both sides of the door to be able to show both of their body language.
"Like people wouldn't wonder why you snapped at Dawn earlier." Noah rolled his eyes as Mike slumped against the door but not before locking it.
"Look, it's personal…" Mike weakly explained and Noah scoffed as he tapped his foot.
"Personal or not, if it's hurting Dawn… err our team, then we need to sort it out." Noah weakly covered up what he said and Mike smiled at this but kept on topic.
"Since when were you a team player?" Mike questioned and Noah shrugged.
"Since I lost because I refused to play dodgeball." Noah retorted and Mike relaxed his shoulders.
"Look, I'll sort out the problem on my own. So… why don't you go talk to Dawn?" Mike sighed and Noah tapped his foot against the door.
"Since when did I turn into the caring one?" Noah wondered to himself as he walked off and Mike looked relieved as he heard some movement in the vents and he tilted his head but shrugged, thinking it was just rodents.
"Let's go see what the lovebirds have to say." Izzy excitedly said before she started dragging Cody another way through the vents and Cody tried to pull away. The camera kept on them as they got to a split path.
"Ok I'll go this way and you see if they're that way." Izzy decided and before Cody could speak, she crawled away at great speeds.
"Great." Cody bemoaned to himself as he crawled through the vents, intending to find an exit. Instead he stopped when he started hearing Dawn talk to Noah.
"I don't really want to…" Dawn rubbed her arm nervously and Noah is seen sitting down next to her on her bed and puts a hand on her shoulder.
"I'm not usually the one to say this but… you should open up to someone at least." Noah sighed and Dawn looked into his eyes and saw his kindness shining through.
"Ok… but please don't tell anybody else or Mike will never forgive me." Dawn asked Noah with pleading eyes and Noah sighed and nodded.
"I won't betray your trust in me." Noah promised and Dawn nodded.
"I know…" Dawn said quietly as she closed her eyes for a minute before deciding to speak again.
"With Mike he has a… not good childhood. I don't know the full details, but I do know this caused his DID." Dawn started and Noah motioned for her to continue without him interrupting.
"Over the years he learned of four alters of his that everyone on the show knows, Chester, Svetlana, Vito and Manitoba Smith. But… he does have a fifth alter that is worse than any of those four." Dawn continued with dread in her voice and Cody's eyes widened in surprise in the vents.
"Worse how?" Noah questioned and Dawn sighed.
"Their name is Mal and they… have done bad things. They were put into juvie for… worse things than Duncan got in there for. They are worse than Alejandro and Heather." Dawn warned and Noah looked in disbelief.
"Mr. Scrawny was in juvie?" Noah seemed most in disbelief about that.
"Yes… it isn't my place to divulge anymore information besides those basics. I just… I know he's going to cause pain but I don't know how to stop it." Dawn looked worried and Noah raised an eyebrow.
"Besides voting him off?" Noah questioned and Dawn smacked him in the shoulder.
"We are not voting him off under any circumstances. If he leaves before he is ready, Mike's entire life will be ruined. I just need to figure out a way to lessen the damage he inflicts on everyone here." Dawn pondered and Noah grabbed her hand.
"Hey… I may not be the most sympathetic person but I get what you're saying here. At least, to my knowledge," Noah snarked a bit and Dawn giggled, "So I'll help you with this Moonflower."
"Is that my new nickname now?" Dawn teased and Noah groaned.
"Woman, you are having a profound impact on me and are making me go soft." Noah admitted and Dawn rested her head against him.
"I know you wouldn't have it any other way." Dawn said in a matter of fact tone but was content and Noah nodded as they stayed there peacefully for a few minutes as Cody crawled away in the vents.
Confessional:
"Worse than Duncan, Alejandro and Heather? I'm going to keep an eye out. Dang, I'm going to need so many eyes to keep an eye on Mal, all the villains and ten just for Sierra and Izzy." Cody shuddered in the confessional at the thought.
End Confessional:
Courtney is seen sitting by herself under a tree once again as all the other villains sit on the stairs of their cabin.
"Fifty bucks says she should be leader because she's a CIT." Heather grumbled under her breath to Alejandro who refuses to respond to her.
"What is your deal? You have been refusing to talk to me more and more recently." Heather accused him and Alejandro looked at the ground and gasped in shock before shaking his head and getting over the shock.
"Maybe it's cause you caused him to be covered in lava?" Jo casually brings up and Heather glares at her as Scott scoffs.
"Says all of you who laughed at me being MAULED BY FUCKING FANG!" Scott exploded and Jo didn't flinch at this.
"You deserved that." Jo brushes off and Duncan grabs Jo by her collar and slams her up against a wall.
"So people deserve to be traumatized? You think it's all just a game? Was it a game when you were stuck in a mine of radiation? Was it a game when you fought mutants? Was it a game when us veterans had a literal serial killer on this island?" Duncan angrily demanded of Jo and she was shocked by the venom in his voice.
"I've never seen Duncan this upset." Sierra whispered to Justin, who nodded in response.
"This show has ruined lives and you think people deserve it? You know, I may be a delinquent, but at least I can understand the shit they went through." Duncan literally threw her to the side, to the ground, knocking a tooth out of her mouth similar to how Heather did before.
"Didn't imagine that from you." Gwen told her boyfriend who shrugged.
"You don't know everything about me pasty." Duncan smirked and Gwen rolled her eyes as Courtney watched this scene unfold from afar.
Confessional:
"Alejandro, Scott and Ezekiel have all been traumatized the most from the show… but Duncan's reaction seemed a bit too… excessive for someone who hasn't been traumatized." Courtney tells the camera her observation.
End Confessional:
Ezekiel is then seen coming out of the boy's side of the cabin, rubbing his eyes sleepily.
"What's with the yelling eh?" Ezekiel asked as he straightened his toque.
"Jo." Heather, Eva, Justin and Scott all said at once and Ezekiel nodded.
"Ohhh makes sense." Ezekiel said as he stretched his hand, still a bit sore from Lightning.
"How does that make sense, homeschool?" Jo snarled and Ezekiel shrugged.
"I mean it's not like you're likeable or anything." Ezekiel retorted and Eva snorted to hide a laugh at this.
"Like you're any more likeable than me, feral freakshow." Jo insulted and Ezekiel looked at the ground in shame.
"That's a bit too harsh. Considering he's normal now." Justin commented and Jo hissed at him.
"You're all just weaklings. I could have handled what you all went through ten times over." Jo arrogantly boasted and Alejandro is seen clenching his fist in anger but not speaking yet.
"So you want to have a plane blown up next to you?" Sierra spoke up and asked, wincing as she remembered the plane incident, "Caused by yourself and nearly blowing up Cody, Heather and Alejandro too?"
"I… I forgot about that." Heather whispered to herself as she shook her head to focus.
"Next time you meet Fang, tell him he can maul you and put you on life support." Scott barked out and Jo still didn't flinch.
"Why don't you have to be dropped in the Outback after being exposed to a severe allergic reaction?" Gwen added in and Jo bit her lip.
"I suppose we all know who is gone if we lose tonight." Eva commented and everyone nodded and Jo's eyes narrowed.
Confessional:
"Wimps. All of them don't know how to take any punches. You act like being near death is so horrible. News flash, I don't care." Jo crossed her arms with an evil glare.
Confessional 2:
"She is so done for," Justin commented, "Also that conversation made me realize how much Chris has actually fucked us up."
"Love you too, the former hottest contestant!" Chris spoke on the announcers and Justin rolled his eyes.
"I'm still as hot as before. I've just overused my charm and thus need to put in work rather than rely on girls." Justin looked at himself in a mirror and winked.
End Confessionals:
"So why are we taking down this challenge right now pretty boy?" Chef barked out as he was seen carrying away some wooden planks to storage.
"Because I forgot that there's a certain something happening tonight that will be a good challenge, but thing is it only will happen tonight." Chris informed as he sipped on a smoothie as he watched interns help out Chef. Chef scoffed at this but kept working as the camera cut away.
Meanwhile on Boney Island, Leshawna is seen hiding behind a tree as a squirrel shot lasers at her.
"This is always kinds of wrong." Leshawna muttered to herself as she picked up a rock and tried to throw it at the squirrel, but it was shot out of the air.
"Chef better be here to get me soon or this gal is gonna become fried." Leshawna looks up at the sky and notices it is still early in the day.
Confessional:
"Never had I wished for a challenge more than right then. Those dang mutants are some tough cookies," Leshawna shook her head, "I don't know how those guys and gals from last season survived more of this."
End Confessional:
The camera cuts back to show Harold helping the butler clean up the table as Dawn and Noah walk back into the dining room.
"Gosh where were you two? We were going to make lunch soon." Harold exclaimed and Noah rolled his eyes.
"As I said earlier, we were having a talk. Aka, none of your business." Noah said back and Harold shrugged as he picked up some plates.
"Apparently we don't have a challenge until after dinner so I convinced the butler to let us get stuff out for a barbeque with the other team." Harold said and Noah raised an eyebrow.
"You sure that's a good idea? I mean, we could just not hang out with the eel and them." Noah responded and Dawn tilted her head.
"Perhaps it would be a good idea to get to have some time when we aren't fighting." Dawn had a small smile and Noah sighed.
"Fine. Do you need help with anything?" Noah asked and Harold was slightly shocked how quick Noah had changed his mind and shook his head.
"Actually yes. Dawn, if you could find Izzy and get some pitchers from the kitchen storage. Noah I need your help with getting the hot dogs and hamburgers, and veggie burgers, from the freezer." Harold explained and Dawn perked up at the mention of veggie burgers and she nodded before she walked off, with Noah watching after her.
"She's got you whipped." Harold commented and Noah punched Harold in the shoulder.
"Shut it dweeb master." Noah snarked and Harold rolled his eyes with a smile as they walked off to get the food.
"Izzy! Where are you?" Dawn called out as she walked down the hallways of the Spa Hotel and suddenly Izzy fell from the vents right in front of Dawn, making Dawn fall to the ground in surprise.
"Have you seen Cody? I lost him in the vents earlier." Izzy asked and Dawn looked confused.
"I don't think so? Maybe he's in the bathroom?" Dawn suggested and Izzy shrugged before hopping back into the vents. The camera followed Izzy as she jumped into the boys bathroom ten minutes later and found glass shattered everywhere on the floor.
"Hey Harold! Maybe this is a clue!" Izzy called out and in a minute Harold came into the bathroom.
"Izzy what do you… oh jeez. Did you do this?" Harold looked at the shattered mirror and the open vent above.
"Nope. Twas probably the evil egg on our team who got Zoey out." Izzy stated calmly and Harold raised an eyebrow.
"This isn't another prank is it?" Harold questioned and Izzy rolled her eyes.
"As if I would just break a mirror as a prank." Izzy scoffed in indignation and Harold shrugged as he pulled out a magnifying glass and started inspecting this.
As this went on, Cameron is seen back in the boy's bedroom as Brick walks by and notices Cameron flipping through a planner.
"Hey Cam, we're about to start setting up for the barbeque. Are you coming to help?" Brick asked as Cameron studied his planner closely.
"Chris said tonight is the challenge right? After dinner?" Cameron asked and Brick nodded, wondering where Cameron was going with this.
"Tonight is a Blue Harvest Moon. It's a rare event that causes unknown actions in nature, including people. The only way to avoid its effects is to either be inside where no direct moonlight will get in, or… to wear tinfoil hats." Cameron explained, the last part with a bit of embarrassment.
"So is it aliens?" Brick wondered from the door and Cameron shrugged.
"I don't know. I was planning to study it this summer but then I got invited back here and forgot. Hopefully I am able to see what it's all about tonight. However, I should get to making some tinfoil hats for everybody so we don't experience any changes ourselves." Cameron explained as he straightened his glasses.
"I'll leave you to it then Cam. I'll save you some food for when you join us." Brick waved goodbye as he joined up with DJ, who was at the front door of the Spa Hotel with the barbeque.
"You gonna be our grill master?" Brick smirked and DJ nodded.
"I have a way with food. Besides, if you've seen someone like Duncan or Izzy cook, you would never let them near anything cooking related again." DJ commented and Duncan walked up to them with a roll of his eyes.
"One time Deej, one time I accidentally blew it up. How many has Izzy blown it up again at Geoff's parties?" Duncan commented as Izzy jumped out of the door and threw Cody into Brick's arms.
"Well with you guys, twenty at least. Before that, hundreds." Izzy responded and Duncan moved his hands to motion to Izzy to prove his point and DJ sighed.
"Fine. I'll let you flip some burgers." DJ relented and Duncan pumped his fist as he looked back to his team, who looked uninterested at hanging out with the heroes.
"I shall go convince the vultures to join us." Brick resolved and put Cody down as he walked over to the villains and Jo scoffed at him.
"What do you want? Rub in our face that you guys are setting up a barbeque?" Jo accused and Brick shook his head.
"Who do you take us for, you Jo?" Brick retorted back and Jo raised an eyebrow at this.
"Just get going pants wetter." Jo insulted and Brick held his head high still.
"I came over because we wished to offer for you to eat with us for a barbeque today since our challenge is at night. So we supposed we could spend some time not being enemies, but just as fellow contestants and have a good hang out. It could boost morale for both teams too." Brick explained and Heather looked to retort when Alejandro raised his hand to stop her.
"Would you rather eat Chef's food or DJ's?" Alejandro asked and everyone had to stop any thoughts of protest against that. DJ was famous, even among the second generation of campers, for being a better cook than Chef.
"Fine. I suppose we can join your barbeque. But no asking us about anything competition related because my team won't give away any secrets." Heather warned and Brick nodded.
"I wouldn't have it any other way ma'am." Brick respectfully responded as he walked away and Gwen smirked.
Confessional:
"There's a better example of someone who should be in the army compared to Chef." Gwen snarked and a hatchet embeds itself through the front of the confessional door.
"Say that again maggot!" Chef yelled out and Gwen didn't even bat her eyes.
End Confessional:
As Duncan was flipping burgers and DJ putting together the food, Mike finally walks outside and notices everyone, except Cameron at the moment but including the villains, in the area behind the Spa Hotel.
"Hey what's going on?" Mike asked Cody as he came to where everyone was and Cody looked at him and flinched back but spoke anyways.
"Oh hey. We decided to host a barbeque and just hang out until the challenge tonight." Cody explained as Mike rubbed his eyes at the sunlight.
"I'll grab a burger but then I'm going to get some sleep." Mike nodded as he walked over to the food table and silently his hair fell over one of his eyes and he eyed up a salt container and smirked evilly. Mike then is seen straightening his hair back up as he walks away with a burger and a glass of water as he walks inside, past Cameron who walks outside with a tinfoil hat. Mike looks confused by this but shrugs his shoulders and goes to eat.
As Cameron sits down at a picnic table by himself, he spots Chris coming there and looking everyone over. For a second as everyone is eating and talking amongst their own teams and with friends, they all go silent at Chris making himself known. Then Chris just grabs a burger and puts it on a plate, but not before taking off the bun to make sure it was all good which it was.
"Hey, even I can appreciate DJ's cooking." Chris admitted as he bit into the burger before walking off and everyone sighed in relief.
"Dude! These burgers are great." Owen complimented and high fived Duncan and DJ as Izzy picked up a burger and sniffed it and then threw it at the ground, causing the burger to fly all over but revealed a bunch of salt had been dumped onto that burger.
"Who put so much salt on that? That much could seriously dehydrate someone." DJ bent down to the salt pile and looked at the food table to see the empty salt container.
"I mean… Alejandro and Heather are literally right over there." Noah pointed out as he drank a cup of water.
"Oh shut the fuck up. Last time I grabbed food the salt container was full." Heather barked back and Alejandro scoffed at Noah.
"Besides, we're not the ones who made the food. Why would we sabotage food being served to us?" Alejandro replied and Noah lowered his gaze but noticed Cody standing off to the side by himself as he looked at the salt container. Sierra also noticed this and spoke up.
"Cody-kins did you see anything?" Sierra happily asked and Cody blinked before shoving his hands in his pockets.
"No… no I didn't." Cody answered and Izzy narrowed her eyes at Cody as everyone just let the salt thing go off as an accident as Cody went inside to go to the bathroom and Izzy followed him and watched him walk in past the butler who had just cleaned up the mirror mess.
"You know something dontcha?" Izzy leaned on the door of the bathroom, scaring Cody to jump into the air.
"Izzy!" Cody yelled out in shock.
"Well do you know something about the salt thing?" Izzy asked casually and Cody shook his head.
"I already told you I don't." Cody responded and Izzy hissed like an actual snake.
"Lie. You're lying, Codmeister." Izzy's tone turned serious and Cody looked away.
"Look, I can't tell you." Cody tried to walk away but Izzy grabbed his shoulder roughly.
"Either you tell me or you eat the salt outside." Izzy threatened and Cody gulped in fear.
"Fine, it was Mal, Mike's evil personality." Cody revealed and Izzy looked thoughtful before shrugging.
"Oh well. Wasn't Mike's fault. Dumb evil doppelgangers." Izzy walks off peacefully and Cody lets out a sigh of relief as the camera cuts back to Leshawna on Boney Island, wiping her brow from the heat as she sits under the shade of a tree.
"Dang animals. I wasn't expecting mutants all over the place." Leshawna breathed out as she wiped her brows and heard her stomach grumble.
"This is what I get for volunteering to leave behind that Spa Hotel for that dang immunity idol." Leshawna grumbled to herself as suddenly she heard a bear roar and her eyes widened as she shot up and ran off as a bear went to where she sat and started eating the berries nearby.
As Leshawna got to a river, she splashed herself with water and then looked up and looked befuddled.
"Is that a… a giant wall?" Leshawna asked as the camera showed her staring at a giant barrier that stretched high up in the sky, looking as if there was no way inside.
"Ok this definitely wasn't here last time I was here." Leshawna looked suspicious and approached the wall and tapped on it. Solid metal along with concrete apparently.
"Knowing Chris, the immunity idol is in there." Leshawna surmised and started walking around the wall to try to find an entrance.
The camera then cut back to Cameron talking to Sierra as everyone continued to just relax into the evening, deciding to just have some barbeque for dinner as well because it was still better than whatever Chef cooked up. Chef and Chris even decided to join, but opted to eat DJ's food inside away from the campers.
"Oh I've heard of the Blue Harvest Moon. The Total Drama blogs have speculated before what effect it would have on competitors if we competed under it. Apparently, the Blue Harvest Moon makes someone act like their polar opposite. Like, think of Lindsay, she would suddenly be the smartest around. This would even apply to animals." Sierra informed as she and Cameron put on tinfoil hats.
"That would make logical sense considering my own research I have done which indicates the odd behaviors of living things beneath the blue moon." Cameron nodded as he agreed with Sierra's assessment.
"What are you nerds talking about?" Heather walked by and Sierra and Cameron ignored her as they kept talking.
Confessional:
"The only reason I am tolerating fraternizing with the enemy is because DJ is a good cook." Heather crossed her arms with a scowl.
End Confessional:
"Where'd Courtney get off to?" Gwen wondered as she sat with Izzy, Owen and Duncan at a table and watched as Owen ate 20 burgers in quick succession.
"Something about preparing for the challenge or something is what she told Alejandro apparently." Duncan informed and Gwen looked off in the distance and Duncan shrugged as he glanced down at the table and went to pull his knife out of his pocket, but couldn't find it.
"Has anyone seen my knife?" Duncan asked and Gwen shook her head and Owen shook his head as he ate a hot dog.
"Huh. Guess I probably left it in the cabin." Duncan shrugged off and continued talking with Owen as DJ finished the last batch of food and came to sit with their group too.
Confessional:
"The one good thing from this show is the guys and chicks I've met and hung out with. Dang, I do kinda miss the Killer Bass days." Duncan smirked as he looked at the carvings on the wall he's made this season.
"Except Courtney's nagging of course." Duncan amended quickly.
End Confessional:
Courtney is seen walking around inside the Spa Hotel, looking downtrodden about something.
"I suppose she never answered." Courtney sighed sadly as she heard talking and quickly hid behind the corner as she peeked out and saw Chris and Chef talking.
"You know, I do wonder how that moon will affect those kids." Chris wonders aloud as he bites into a burger and uses a napkin to dab his lip.
"Twenty bucks says the aura maggot turns completely insane." Chef wagers and Chris raises an eyebrow.
"Twenty bucks says she somehow manages to avoid its effects. She is kinda creepy with that aura stuff so who knows what'll happen." Chris bets back and they shake on it and Courtney rolls her eyes at their casual betting.
"I better go get Leshawna soon. Some cameras showed the maggot is close to where the immunity idol is." Chef stretched his arms as he finished eating DJ's food, "Kid is really a good cook."
"Coming from you, that's surprising." Chris taunts and Chef rolls his eyes as he walks away to go get Leshawna. Courtney stores away the information of the immunity idol almost being found for later and walks off again.
Confessional:
"Knowing that she was only close to the immunity idol and hasn't retrieved it is good information," Courtney commented with a thoughtful look, "Would that be a good peace offering to someone? Or would it blow my chances?"
End Confessional:
Leshawna pants for breath as she leans against the big wall. In the time she spent exploring, she still had not been able to find a way inside… whatever was inside these walls. Suddenly she heard a helicopter and looked up to see Chef drop down a ladder to climb up and Leshawna snapped her fingers in defeat as she climbed up the ladder far enough to not get hit by the treeline but not going inside because there wasn't enough room. After a few minutes of flying, Leshawna is left to be dropped off right at the Spa Hotel where she sees everyone still eating and notices that DJ is cleaning up a bit.
"Y'all have better left some food for me." Leshawna calls out and DJ looks over and gives a thumbs up as he brings her over some food.
"What's all this for? Something happen?" Leshawna asked as she bit into one of the burgers.
"Just decided to hang out until the night challenge." DJ shortly explained and Leshawna shrugged.
"At least I get some food after Boney Island." Leshawna added as she went to sit down and sat by Gwen, who was talking with Duncan and Izzy about some horror movie, with Harold popping in with some facts from time to time.
"Why do I spot one of our resident lunatics and one of the smart guys both wearing tinfoil hats?" Leshawna decided to ask as Justin walked by and he shrugged.
"Something about a moon. I don't know. Seems like Sierra's craziness is rubbing off on Cameron." Justin comments as he goes to throw his leftovers away and spots Dawn sitting in the grass with Noah as she holds his hand.
"You know, saying you aren't dating and acting like that really contradicts each other." Justin called out to Noah who just rolled his eyes and Dawn gives Noah a small smile before she plants a kiss on his lips and Noah, while shocked, goes with it and kisses back and hugs her too.
"Go little buddies!" Owen cheered and Noah blushed in embarrassment as Dawn giggled when they parted at this.
Confessional:
"So long as those two don't turn into Geoff and Bridgette when season two started, I'm actually happy for them." Leshawna smiled at the camera, "Bookworm sure has changed since dodgeball."
Confessional 2:
"I guess we're a couple now. Definitely not how I imagined getting a girlfriend." Noah nervously admitted as he twirled a pencil in his fingers.
Confessional 3:
"His aura is very beautiful. I can tell he did take time to sort his emotions and think about the first kiss I gave. I am happy to have finally found love." Dawn sighed happily.
End Confessional:
As the sun started to set and the hangout was wrapping up, Chris came out of the Spa Hotel along with Mike who walked over to Cameron, who was handing tinfoil hats to everyone, after much convincing from Cameron and Sierra. Most the villains looked annoyed at wearing them, but did so just for protection. And it's not like they can be more embarrassed than they already have been.
"Hey what's going on Cam?" Mike asked as he yawned a bit and Cameron smiled and handed him a hat.
"Tonight is the Blue Harvest Moon and this will protect us from the effects. I do wonder what effect it would have on you, considering your DID." Cameron pondered and Mike froze as he thought about this too.
"Uh… probably'll just bring out Vito or something." Mike chuckled awkwardly and Cameron nodded.
"That is my working theory too. I won't try to test it though. You aren't a lab rat." Cameron assured and Mike bit his lip when Cameron said rat but shook off the feeling quickly.
"Ok campers. I know we all had a good time today with good food courtesy of DJ and hanging out. But, it's torture… err challenge time." Chris announced and Eva scoffed.
"Great cover up there." Eva snarked and Noah snorted.
"Took the words right out of my mouth." Noah complimented.
"Dude also did the same thing two challenges ago. Not very original." Jo added on and her team barely acknowledged what she said, but Eva shrugged and agreed.
"Anyways! Tonight's challenge will involve a race through the woods. Your goal is for your entire team to reach the other side of the island," Chris motioned to a tv screen on a cart next to him which showed a map of the island and their intended path, "During this very special Blue Harvest Moon. Which I see you're all prepared for."
"Yeah yeah. Can't wait for aliens to abduct me." Heather rolled her eyes and Alejandro spoke up.
"Tinfoil hats would do nothing in preventing them from beaming you up into space. You know, if you're gonna be a leader, you should know what you're talking about." Alejandro insulted through his words and Heather growled and Ezekiel stepped between them.
"Let's just get along for now, eh? I don't think we want to lose." Ezekiel commented and Scott whistled innocently.
"I mean…" Sierra gave a side glance at Scott, knowing his strategy from last season.
"You try throwing tonight sharkbait and you're donezo." Jo motioned her finger over her neck and Scott scoffed.
"After what you said this morning? If it came down to it, I'd take my chances." Scott retorted and Chris looked gleeful.
"Ah I love the drama at sunset. Always so nice." Chris evilly said and Gwen rolled her eyes.
"Can we just start yet?" Gwen asked and Chris shrugged.
"Well since you're all just talking over me, go ahead. Have fun with the deadly animals." Chris walked away casually and everyone was a bit confused by this but Courtney and Alejandro were the first to break from their stupor.
"Come on! Let's go!" Courtney shouted at her team as she started running towards the words and Alejandro nodded and followed behind her.
"Let's go mi equipo!" Alejandro called out and they shook their heads and started running after their team, but at the end of the pack, Duncan grabbed Gwen's arm.
"Let's go a different direction. I don't really trust Courtney's direction." Duncan suggested and Gwen shook her head.
"Do you want to be eliminated?" Gwen asked and Duncan shrugged.
"I won't stop you from joining them… but I have my own goal to do besides win." Duncan glanced at the running hero team and narrowed his eyes at Mike.
"Don't be an idiot. I don't want to see you sent to jail for doing something like blowing up Chris's home." Gwen looked in his eyes and he nodded.
"No need to worry, pasty. I'm not that dumb. Besides, you already know what I went to juvie for. Blowing up Chris's house would at least make some people happy." Duncan responded and Gwen nodded.
"Sure would be fun to see him cry from that." Gwen smirked evilly as she planted a kiss on Duncan's cheek before running after their team. Duncan then casually strolled after the heroes, knowing he'd need to save his energy to do what he needed to.
"I wonder what animals will act like in the moonlight tonight?" Harold asked Cody as they ran by some squirrels on the ground and Cody shrugged.
"Hopefully not as deadly as those lasers squirrels Leshawna talked about earlier." Cody shuddered at the thought as the moon finally came into the sky as the group ran into a clearing.
"Blue moonlight." Cameron looked astounded as the moonlight came down and hit them but no one got affected but they heard some immediate growling.
"I don't need more animals after me." DJ muttered to himself and Dawn shuddered in fear next to him.
"This… this feels so unnatural. Look out!" Dawn shouted and everyone looked around and saw squirrels lunge out of the trees at them and they first tried to attack Owen, but Izzy kicked them all away.
"Yes! This will be fun!" Izzy seemed excited and everyone gulped at this.
Confessional:
"Note to self: keep the tinfoil hat on Izzy so she can fend off animals at least. Even if it scares me." Cameron wrote in a small notebook.
End Confessional:
"Blue moonlight. Cool." Scott chuckled as they were running on a path in the woods and Eva looked up and saw some birds flying at them.
"Down!" Eva shouted as the birds tried to divebomb them and everyone ducked and the birds missed and embedded themselves into trees.
"Ok this is all kinds of strange." Justin commented as he approached the birds and tapped the tree by them and they tried and failed to hit Justin.
"Ok. What's next, an actual teddy bear bear?" Jo asked sarcastically as a bear approached and rolled over onto it's back to get pat.
"At least not all animals are trying to kill us right now." Sierra tried to think optimistically and Jo rolled her eyes.
Confessional:
"At least Ms. Crazy isn't obsessing over Cody when he isn't around. Which is fine by me, keeps her head in the game." Jo commented as she looked on her head and scowled at the tinfoil.
Confessional 2:
"Being without Cody-kins these last few days has let me lose the obsessiveness I regained shortly before the season. Hopefully it doesn't come back again." Sierra crossed her legs.
End Confessional:
"Ok I highly doubt we'll even be affected by this. It's not like we're in a fictional story or something." Heather pulls her tinfoil hat off and immediately goes still for a second.
"Uh, Heather?" Gwen waved her hands in front of her face and Heather gasped and giggled happily.
"This is so fun! The forest is so pretty. You're all great!" Heather cheerfully commented and acted completely differently and Alejandro, Gwen and Sierra all shuddered in unison.
"Ok, that's freaky even for her." Gwen commented as Courtney looked back at the situation as she had been trying to figure out the path and facepalmed.
"Put the tinfoil hat back on her. We don't need her weighing us down like that." Courtney stated and Alejandro grabbed the hat and put it back on and Heather fell down.
"What the fuck?!" Heather shouted and Gwen sighed in relief that Heather wasn't acting that preppy anymore.
"Ok then. Everyone keep your hats on. We can't afford to be slowed down by the effects on the moon on us." Courtney took charge and Heather scowled but agreed, not wanting to go through that again.
"Who put you in charge?" Jo barked out and Justin spoke up.
"She's a better leader than you. Even if she cheated to get back into season two, she at least made a good opponent when she was actually playing the game." Justin defended and Courtney herself looked surprised by him standing up for her.
"As much as I like going it myself, can't win everything alone." Eva even commented and Jo threw her head back in frustration.
"Fine. Let's just get this over with." Jo scowled as the villains continued further into the woods, not even noticing Duncan's absence.
Meanwhile, Leshawna was being chased by some beavers as Brick and Cody tried to help her. The rest of the team was a bit ahead of them, standing at a fork in the path.
"Great… gotta pick one of them." Noah stated and Leshawna nodded.
"I believe the left path should take us to our destination." Harold deducted as he bent down to the ground and measured the angles of the paths.
"Out of the way!" Leshawna cried out as she crashed into Dawn, knocking her to the ground and Leshawna barreled into a tree as the beavers approached, with their teeth positioned to strike.
"Run!" Owen cried out in terror as he, Cody and Harold all fled down the left path as some of the others, Cameron, Mike, DJ and Brick specifically, ran down the right path. Noah just gulped as the beavers approached as Izzy bent on the ground and barked at them and scared them off. Leshawna groaned in pain as the three left there went to help Dawn up but Izzy noticed her tinfoil hat was off.
"Find the hat! Or else she'll…" Izzy tried to warn but Dawn shot up and grabbed Izzy by the neck and Leshawna and Noah looked scared at her as Dawn was now completely different.
Confessional:
"Day one of relationship: The moon turns my new girlfriend psycho. Just the night I imagined." Noah banged his head into the wall.
End Confessional:
"Hey now gal, no need to do anything drastic." Leshawna took a few steps forward and Dawn's grip on Izzy grew tighter.
"Do you want to die too?" Dawn's moon self warned with an evil grin and Izzy kicked and managed to send Dawn flying into the tree.
"Shit. We need to get that hat back on your girl. Any plans?" Leshawna asked Noah who just shook his head as Dawn took a knife out of her pocket and aimed it at Leshawna.
"Seems all of you want to die." Dawn's alter self chuckled evilly as she threw the knife at Leshawna and the camera cut away before what happened could be seen.
The camera cut to Owen, Harold and DJ as they stopped and found themselves surrounded by trees and DJ looked around and found themselves all alone.
"Where is everyone else?" DJ asked as they couldn't see anyone else with them.
"Gosh! I guess in that chaos the others ran the other direction." Harold deduced and Owen tried to look for Izzy.
"I thought Izzy would have jumped on my back to come with us." Owen commented and Harold shrugged.
"We should continue onwards. If I am right, this will lead us to our destination. I think they should catch up soon." Harold stated and DJ nodded in agreement.
"Better to keep moving forward right? Better to win the challenge." Owen added as they started walking.
"I hope everyone else doesn't get hurt by the animals." DJ said softly as they walked down the path.
The camera then cuts away back to the villains where they reach a wooden bridge and Heather is the first to approach and test it.
"That seems unstable." Justin comments and Alejandro nods.
"I agree with the lesser hot contestant," Alejandro insulted and Justin scoffed at this blatant insult, "Perhaps there is another way around."
"If we take too long, then we'll lose." Courtney stated and Jo scoffed.
"Then what should we do? Walk over the unstable bridge?" Jo asked and Courtney nodded.
"I'll test it first to check if it is safe to cross." Courtney volunteered as she stepped on the bridge and carefully made her way across the canyon. As the villains watched in anticipation, Courtney made it to the other side and sighed in relief.
"One at a time! And take it slow!" Courtney called out as the villains started slowly making their way across, in the order of Heather, Justin, Jo, Ezekiel, Scott and Eva. Alejandro then was in the midst of his walk when suddenly the bridge started giving out.
"What is happening?" Alejandro gripped the ropes tightly as Heather narrowed her eyes at the other side and saw some beavers tearing at the ropes and Gwen was trying to keep them away but failing.
"Alejandro run!" Heather cried out as Alejandro tried to speed up but then the bridge gave way and Alejandro had almost reached the end when it gave way. He tried to jump for the edge and Heather caught his hand and pulled him up.
"I suppose you do still care." Alejandro gave a small smile as Heather scoffed.
"As if. I just didn't want to see you die." Heather tried to brush it off and Alejandro just stands up.
"Unlike in Hawaii." Alejandro retorts and Heather flinches back.
"I… I was running for my own life. I couldn't stop." Heather defends and Alejandro gets right up in her face.
"Then I suppose that excuses leaving me to die? Perhaps I should have left you stuck in the hole back in Drumheller." Alejandro states with fire in his eyes and Heather now gets angry.
"Just let things go! It was a competition and you're taking everything I did personally. You treated people as pawns even more than I did. So you don't get to play the victim card with me." Heather angrily pokes Alejandro in the chest and his eyes narrow.
"Then mi enemiga, I'll love seeing you get flushed down into the sewers." Alejandro darkly said as he grabbed the tinfoil hat off of Heather and she immediately got a smile on her face.
"Yay! I love the forest!" Heather happily skipped off and Eva grabbed Alejandro by the collar.
"You better get control of yourself or I throw you into that canyon." Eva growled and Alejandro winked.
"Oh are you sure chica? I'm sure I could convince you otherwise." Alejandro tried to convince but Eva wasn't buying it.
"I'm not as infatuated with you as the other weak girls. Besides, Justin is better looking than you." Eva growled and Justin gave a small fistbump of being acknowledged.
"This is nice and all, eh, but shouldn't we get Heather? Chris did say we need the entire team to win." Ezekiel pointed out and Scott shrugged.
"If she wants to throw, that's her fault." Scott tried to dismiss but Jo punched him in the arm.
"Shut it. You just want us to lose. News flash, if you try to throw any challenges, I'll throw you in the toilet myself." Jo warned everyone and Scott and Courtney gulped at this, both being players who have tried to or have thrown challenges before.
"Uh guys? Gwen's still on the other side of the canyon." Sierra pointed out and the entire team stopped arguing as they saw Gwen being chased by beavers on the other side.
"It would take too long to retrieve her." Alejandro pointed out and Courtney bit her lip in hesitation.
"Wait, where's Duncan?" Justin brought up and everyone looked around and noticed Duncan was not with them.
"Fucking damn it. Everyone else, get Heather and get to the finish line. I'll get goth and delinquent, wherever he wandered off to." Eva cracked her knuckles as she backed up from the canyon and then ran at it and jumped, somehow being able to jump the entire way over. Eva then proceeded to grab the beavers and throw them into the canyon.
"Well, that's one way to take care of them." Gwen looked over the edge as she looked at Eva and the rest of her team.
"Guess we're taking the long way around." Gwen said, disheartened at potentially being a reason for their loss.
"Try to keep up." Eva taunted as she started sprinting along the side of the canyon and Gwen followed behind, albeit at a slower pace.
The camera then cut away to Mike, Cameron, Cody and Brick, who had made it to a clearing where a bunch of snakes were being chased by mice.
"That's not something you see everyday." Mike chuckled and Brick nodded.
"Oh yeah, the light from the moon seems especially bright tonight. At least it isn't dark for Brick's sake." Cameron observed and Brick sighed in relief.
"That has made this challenge more doable than last season's night challenge." Brick agreed as Cody spun in a circle, trying to look for something.
"Uh guys, the path ends here and our team isn't with us." Cody mentioned and Brick cracked his knuckles.
"Then we'll head back and catch up to our troops. No harm in turning back." Brick stated as they prepared to turn around when suddenly a bunch of squirrels launched at the four of them and they all screamed in pain before after a little bit, the squirrels ran off after tearing up the boys' clothes.
"Well we all seem to be fine now, right?" Brick warily got up on his feet, feeling some blood loss from the scratches.
"Might need a rabies shot." Cody groaned as he and Cameron were helped up by Brick and they looked and looked down at Mike and saw his tinfoil hat was torn to pieces.
"Mike! Are you ok?" Cameron asked as Brick helped him up and Mike's hair was in front of one of his eyes and Mike quickly pushed his hair back up as he coughed.
"Yeah. I'm fine. I don't think the moon really had an effect on me." Mike's voice was a bit lower but it was barely noticeable that no one picked up on it.
"Well I suppose my theory about Vito taking over was wrong." Cameron noted and Mike gave a slight but silent scowl. Cody noticed this and shuddered.
Confessional:
"Maybe Vito didn't come out… but did Mal?" Cody asked with a slight chill going up his spine.
End Confessional:
As the group walked back, Mike stayed behind everyone and stayed quiet as they walked through the woods. The hair fell back over his one eye as he glared at both Brick and Cameron, annoyed at them for some reason.
The camera cut back to Izzy, Leshawna and Noah as they were running through the woods as Izzy's hand was bleeding and Dawn ran after them with a bloodied knife in hand.
"You're crazy for trying to catch that." Leshawna commented as they kept running and Izzy shrugged as she looked back.
"Not as crazy as her. Well… at least I'm not trying to kill people." Izzy amended as Dawn was seemingly gaining ground on them.
"Can this moon just fuck off?!" Noah's eye twitched as they got into a clearing and the path forward was blocked by a fallen tree and a bear sleeping on top of it. Leshawna and Noah gulped in fear as Dawn came into the clearing too, with her eyes reflecting the moonlight's blue color.
"Izzy, you got any off that explosive sap or something?" Leshawna asked and Izzy shrugged as she looked the least worried.
"Eh, not at the moment. Besides, no fire." Izzy pointed out as Noah glared at them.
"Well think of something before my girlfriend kills us." Noah barks out and as Dawn goes to lunge at them, Duncan is seen tackling the girl to the ground from behind, knocking the knife out of her hands.
"Duncan!?" Leshawna and Noah both yelled in confusion and Izzy just cheered and danced around the two on the ground with glee.
"What the fuck is going on? I was walking by and saw this girl," Duncan motioned to Dawn, "Chasing you with MY knife."
"The moon. It's made her act the opposite of how she normally would. We need to get a tinfoil hat back on her." Noah informed and they looked around and saw the only tinfoil hats available were on their heads.
"Take mine," Izzy offered and Noah raised an eyebrow, "Would you rather me being sane or her being crazy?!"
"Izzy, you have acted the most sane I've ever seen tonight. Either way… I can't argue that fact. We need sanity at the moment." Noah accepted her offer.
"Eh, I'll be back at it tomorrow. Maybe Explosivo will come back." Izzy chuckled darkly and Leshawna and Duncan shared a look of concern as Noah took the tinfoil hat from Izzy and put it on Dawn, who stopped resisting and collapsed beneath Duncan as he got up and grabbed his knife.
"Dawn, Moonflower. Are you okay?" Noah knelt down next to his girlfriend and she groaned as she sat up.
"My aura… it feels out of balance. What happened?" Dawn asked as Noah helped her to her feet.
"My fault, girl. I was being chased by beavers and I accidentally ran into you and knocked that tinfoil hat off and you may have gone… psycho." Leshawna awkwardly explained and Dawn groaned in pain,
"Hey juvie boy, where's the rest of your team?" Noah asked Duncan as he supported Dawn. Duncan shrugged as he put his knife into his pocket.
"No clue. I split off from them early on." Duncan seemed indifferent to the situation and Dawn mustered enough energy to glare at him.
"I told you already Duncan… hurting him right now solves nothing." Dawn said in a low voice and Noah raised an eyebrow at this.
Confessional:
"Ok so does Duncan know about that whole Mal thing? Dawn did say Mike was in juvie." Noah pieced together some of the pieces.
End Confessional:
"Izzy? You okay girl?" Leshawna shook the shoulder of Izzy, who was just watching everything and then Izzy cackled madly.
"Guess the moon doesn't work on an already broken mind!" Izzy laughed loudly and made Leshawna jump back in surprise.
"So nothing can make Izzy act any more unusual than usual?" Duncan noted as he looked around and shrugged, "I should probably catch up to my team so we don't lose. See ya, nerds!"
Duncan then ran off into the woods as Izzy jumped up into a tree above them.
"Follow him!" Izzy ordered as she launched from tree to tree and Leshawna let out a small chuckle.
"She never does change, does she?" Leshawna looked reminiscent as Noah nodded as he helped keep Dawn steady, who was barely able to stand up at the moment.
"She's still the crazy hose beast, but she is our crazy hose beast." Noah agreed as they followed after Izzy as the camera transitioned to Chris watching the scene unfold from the viewing tent.
"Well thankfully no lawsuits from death today." Chris wiped his brow as he glanced over the other monitors. Suddenly static showed on one of the monitors and a pure white man with no face in a suit appeared for a split second before disappearing. Chris blinked his eyes, unsure if he even saw anything.
"Well let's see how good old Mal is doing." Chris decided upon as the camera transitioned through the screen to show Mal, who was pretending to be Mike, walking along with Cameron, Cody and Brick along the same path that DJ, Owen and Harold had gone down earlier but were obviously way ahead now. Mal seemed to be watching every animal as they walked by them and making small talk to not seem suspicious.
"So I wonder what a butterfly would act like? Perhaps more aggressive and like mosquitos?" Cameron pondered as Mal smirked. The animals being their opposites was an interesting thing to happen and Mal wanted to take advantage of it somehow.
"I think I spotted a butterfly just over there if you wanted to take a look." Mal pointed off the path and Cameron looked interested but Cody stopped and spoke up.
"Let's just focus on getting to the end. We don't need to be the ones voted off." Cody stated simply and Cameron nodded.
"Thanks anyways Mike. I would love to one day document the phenomenon of this Blue Harvest Moon." Cameron looked fascinated by the goings on and Mal just clenched his fist and kept following, deciding to bide his time for now.
Confessional:
"I currently do not feel Mike even conscious or trying to take back control during this moon. Perhaps this is a better opportunity than I first came to believe." Mal gave a smirk as he cracked his knuckles.
End Confessional:
The villains are seen still walking mostly together, with Jo having to drag Heather along to keep her from running off to pet some random animals.
"Why did I get put on babysitting duty?" Jo complained as everyone walked ahead of her.
"How about how you acted this morning?" Sierra threw out her thoughts and Jo scowled.
"Better question, why is Miss CIT bitch leading us?" Jo asked and everyone actually stopped at this.
"Yeah why should we be listening to you?" Scott asked as Courtney looked back and rolled her eyes.
"Because I want to see us succeed and not lose. Besides, it's not as if whining all the time is doing me any favors." Courtney explained shortly before continuing to walk as Heather clapped at this.
Confessional:
"Has Courtney," Alejandro fake gasped mockingly, "actually matured?"
Confessional 2:
"Eh, I think Courtney took my advice to act better. At least she's not super down now, eh." Ezekiel gave a toothy grin to the camera.
Confessional 3:
"Yes I took the se… homeschool's advice. Besides, knowing Bridgette, I still need to prove myself too. So, I needed to step up and not wallow in my own self pity. I… I'm still unsure of how to act towards Gwen and the ape." Courtney admitted her thoughts to the camera.
End Confessionals:
The camera cut away to show Gwen and Eva still running along the edge of the canyon as they finally reach the end of the small canyon and they spot Harold, DJ and Owen running along the beach.
"Follow them!" Eva barked out as she ran after the two and Gwen, panting from the running, followed behind as to not invoke the wrath of Eva.
Gwen then spotted the three reach a golden circle as Chris stood there in between the two circles. She then noticed the rest of their team wasn't there as she and Eva reached the circle.
"Congrats the five of you. You're the first ones here." Chris announced and Gwen looked over at the other team and smiled at Owen and DJ, two of her friends from the other team.
"Should I go look for the others? I am an expert tracker so I should be able to bring them back here rather quickly." Harold offered his teammates but Chris spoke up.
"Oh yeah forgot to mention. Because you all kept interrupting earlier, I made a new rule. If you step off this circle after you're here, your whole team loses." Chris revealed and Harold bit the bottom of his lip in worry.
Confessional:
"I… if I could I would rescue you my sweet Leshawna." Harold sighed in defeat.
End Confessional:
The next ones out of the woods was Cody, Mal still pretending to be Mike, Brick and Cody and they quickly ran across the sand to their circle as Mal scowled at not being able to do anything to mess with his teammates.
"Villains it isn't looking good for you." Chris mentioned as Duncan came running out of the woods with Izzy running after him. Izzy now had a leafmade bandage on her hand where she tried to catch the knife earlier.
"Stop throwing acorns at me Izzy!" Duncan cried out as she chased him across the beach.
"I'm a squirrel mwahaha!" Izzy crazily cackled as she stopped throwing the acorns and jumped onto Owen's back and kissed him on the cheek, "Hey big guy."
Duncan then peacefully made it onto the villain's circle as he smirked at Gwen.
"Hey pasty. How'd you and the strong woman get here before everyone?" Duncan asked and Gwen rubbed her arm anxiously.
"Well, we kinda got separated on two sides of a canyon." Gwen mentioned and Duncan rolled his eyes.
"Just our luck." Duncan snarked as Chris looked off in the distance and spotted the rest of the campers come out of the woods at almost the same time, with the villains being a bit behind Leshawna, Noah and Dawn.
"Run for it!" Alejandro ordered as the villains started making a run for their team's circle and Jo literally threw Heather into Eva's arms as most of the villains made it at the same time as Leshawna.
"Hurry up bookworm!" Leshawna called out as he was still helping Dawn through the sand, slowly making their way there. Gwen looked out and noticed that one of the villains was missing from their circle.
"Where's Courtney?" Gwen asked and everyone looked around in confusion as Courtney screamed in terror as she had been knocked to the ground by a rabid deer, their sharpened teeth biting at Courtney's hair, trying to tear it out from beneath the tinfoil hat.
"She'll make, otherwise she's gone." Scott scowls as Dawn and Noah get closer and closer as their team cheers them on. Gwen is seen biting her lip tightly at Courtney getting attacked and Duncan puts a hand on her shoulder.
"I won't fault you for helping her, even if she is a bitch." Duncan assured her and this was all Gwen needed to kiss Duncan and then run off the circle, challenge be damned, to save Courtney. Gwen grabbed a stick on her way and then pried the deer's mouth off of Courtney's hair as Courtney opened her eyes and silently gasped at the person helping her.
"Get up and go!" Gwen told her and Courtney scrambled to her feet as Gwen pushed the deer away and Gwen followed Courtney to run to the circle right before Noah and Dawn could. Their team cheered as Chris chuckled evilly as Eva glared at Gwen with a scowl.
"And the winners are the Heroic Hawks, since they didn't leave their circle once they got on it, Gwen." Chris evilly stated and the heroes cheered as Noah groaned and fell on the sand and Dawn sat down next to him, exhausted as well from the night's trek through the woods.
"What are you talking about? We clearly won." Jo questioned and Eva spoke up.
"Because Chris told us that if we left this, we'd throw away the entire's team chance at winning. So thanks goth girl." Eva spat out in anger and Gwen gulped as Duncan facepalmed, not realizing he had enabled this to happen. Courtney now seemed even more surprised at the fact that Gwen knew this and still helped her.
"So hawks, no need to be at the Peanut Gallery after a long night. And I don't care for tired reactions, so enjoy your night back at the Spa Hotel. Villains, I'll see you at the campfire ceremony once we get back." Chris rubbed his hands together in wicked glee as Owen picked up Dawn and Noah off the ground and held them in his arms.
"I'll carry you little buddies back." Owen promised and Noah tiredly nodded his thanks as Dawn yawned and closed her eyes as they started the trek back as the blue moon still hung in the sky.
"Oh yeah wait. Heroes, volunteer for exile?" Chris remembered and Mal raised his hand.
"I'll go tonight." Mal volunteered as Duncan's eyes narrowed at him.
"This is so much fun!" Heather cried out from Eva's arms and Leshawna looked disturbed by this and saw she lacked a tinfoil hat.
Confessional:
"I don't know what's worse, a murderous Dawn or a cheerful Heather." Leshawna contemplated.
End Confessional:
The camera then transitions to a tired group of villains gathered at the campfire ceremony, with a somehow energetic Chris, ready to eliminate someone. The heroes were nowhere to be seen, with Mal taken on exile and the rest went back to the Spa Hotel.
"Lots of tension today campers. Jo this morning, Gwen tonight. And even some annoyance towards Alejandro, Duncan and Heather too. Lots of hate going around. Oh yeah also, Heather catch!" Chris tossed a tinfoil hat to a humming Heather, who happily put the hat on and then slumped forward.
"What happened?" Heather shook her head as she looked up and saw them all at the campfire ceremony.
"You lost the tinfoil hat again." Alejandro spoke before anyone could, covering up the fact that he caused it.
"Great. Fucking great. Now all I have stuck in my head is dumb preppy songs." Heather complained as Gwen snorted in amusement.
"Anyways, back to me. One of you is getting flushed tonight. And it won't be… Ezekiel, Scott, Eva, Justin or Sierra. All of you got no votes at all. I have no clue how Zeke is still here." Chris threw the marshmallows out and Ezekiel looked away in embarrassment as he lowered his toque, which had the tinfoil hat under it, over his face to avoid being seen.
"And just to spice things up a bit, who wants a callback to good old No Pain, No Game, where I showed off everyone voting for Eva." Chris chuckled as a tv cart was wheeled out next to him for the confessionals to play.
Confessional:
"Yay! Voting! Oh she's pretty!" Heather holds up a picture of Courtney before scribbling over it.
Confessional 2:
"Bye bye Jo." Scott scowls at the camera as he makes his vote clear.
Confessional 3:
"Eva threatened me to vote Gwen off. Sorry." Ezekiel apologized as he made his vote.
Confessional 4:
"As I said, don't throw the fucking game." Jo angrily states as she holds up Gwen's photo.
Confessional 5:
"Still not over what Jo said this morning." Duncan crossed his arms to make his decision clear.
Confessional 6:
"I would hate to break up Gwuncan right now… but Duncan did just abandon us." Sierra crossed out Duncan's picture.
Confessional 7:
"Ah beautiful is she not?" Alejandro smirked as he looked at Heather's picture.
Confessional 8:
"Uh… guess it's gotta be Jo." Gwen shrugged as she revealed her vote.
Confessional 9:
"Goodbye Al." Courtney crossed out Alejandro's picture.
Confessional 10:
"Get out of here already." Eva growled as she basically slashed through Gwen's picture.
Confessional 11:
"I would not want to incur Eva's wrath." Justin shuddered in fear.
Confessional 12:
"Bye bye CIT." Duncan waved at the camera.
End Confessionals:
"Wow. Even I wasn't expecting that one." Chris tossed the last marshmallows to everyone except Gwen as Gwen was left speechless, but not overly shocked because of her earlier actions.
"That's what you get for throwing the game." Jo crossed her arms and cast a side glare at Scott.
"Dang babe, wasn't expecting you to go so early." Duncan offered his hand to help her up and she stood up, not bothering to react badly to her elimination as she walked to the toilet, followed by her team.
"Any last words?" Chris asked once she was in the toilet and Gwen looked down at Courtney.
"I just wanted to say that I'm…!" Gwen tried to get out to Courtney as Chris flushed her away, leaving her screaming as she got flushed out of the competition.
"I'll always wonder what she was going to say." Chris mocked as Duncan scowled as he walked away, shoving his hands into his pockets as he walked off without a word, followed by his teammates barring Courtney who just looked at the toilet and sighed as she too walked off, leaving Chris alone.
"That's all for today folks. Good old Gwen got the flush and the rest of the villains fight to see another day. What will Courtney do next? What is Mal going to do on Boney Island? Will Mike come back soon? Learn the answers to these questions, next time here on Total Drama All Stars." Chris spread his arms wide for dramatic effect as he ended off the episode with no incident.
The camera then cuts to Dawn laying on Noah's lap in the lounge of the Spa Hotel.
"My head still… hurts. Whenever I close my eyes, all I see is blood." Dawn said in a quiet voice as Noah stroked her hair.
"I'm sure it'll pass soon Moonflower. But… you can sleep here with me tonight if it gives you more comfort." Noah said softly and Dawn nodded as she closed her eyes and rested on Noah's lap. Owen is then seen squealing silently as Cody and Izzy give each other a fistbump at this.
"I'm sure this is all a great joke to you guys, me acting like this." Noah snarked and Cody shook his head.
"I actually think it's quite sweet of you. I've never seen you like this really." Cody admitted and Noah shrugged lightly, making sure not to disturb Dawn.
"I've never really had a reason to before. But… she's different. There's just something about her that…" Noah tried to describe but Owen cut him off.
"Makes you super happy? That's how I feel with Izzy too. It's love." Owen explained in a slightly teasing voice.
"Just don't abandon her to Chef like a certain someone." Izzy gave Owen a side glance and he nervously chuckled and Noah sighed.
"Don't worry. I'm going to do my best and try to make her happy." Noah yawned as he looked down at his girlfriend's sleeping form.
"Who would've guessed Noah would've gotten a girlfriend before me?" Cody questioned and Owen, Izzy, Noah and even the sleeping Dawn raised their hands and everyone chuckled except the sleeping Dawn.
The camera then cuts away to Sierra walking around, trying to search for her phone when she hears a small beep coming from Courtney's bed and she grabs her phone and starts looking at it and notices the call sent from Courtney to Bridgette and Sierra gives a happy smile to Courtney as she puts the phone back on Courtney's bed, silently acknowledging Courtney's actions as being for a good reason and that she had no reason to wake her up to ask.
Confessional:
"I don't blame her for taking it. I mean, I probably wouldn't have let her have it if she asked. But she surely called Bridgette for maybe an apology? Oh, Courtney making up with Bridgette would make this season super great. Maybe she'll also make up with Gwen if she gets eliminated too." Sierra happily clapped her hands together.
Confessional 2:
"I know Alejandro lied about how I lost my hat. I remember up until I lost it. That boy is going down." Heather scowled as she winced for a moment.
"Dumb moon giving me a headache." Heather complained as the moonlight is shown still coming in from outside as the camera cuts to static.
End Confessional:
AN: And that's the end of the episode folks. Bet none of you were expecting Gwen to be gone so early. This was honestly the hardest episode to decide who would be eliminated in. It bounced back and forth a lot between some characters but I finally settled on Gwen leaving here. The reason for this is quite a bit and spoilery, but know that Aftermaths do exist so Gwen will still have her time so don't worry. I did honestly leave a lot of opportunities for others to get eliminated, but I chose this path as I felt that it would lead to the better stories to be told. I hope you respect my decision to eliminate her here and don't get mad because I eliminated Gwen early on. Thank you for your time and I hope you have a good day.
